I recommended Choice Home Warranty to all my friends after they came through for me on my fridge. The technician decided it didn’t make sense to repair, and instead of dragging things out, Choice gave me an $818 Lowe’s gift card. I used it to buy a brand-new fridge! Our microwave light kept blowing out and then eventually stopped working. Submitted a work order and in about 10 days a technician came identified the issue ordered a par and returned in a couple of days replaced the board! Works perfectly! I contacted company online. They did email me back within a day and said I would be contacted within 48 hours by their referred repair company. It took 48 hours and then another 1-1/2 weeks before they could come out. That’s a long time to be without a refrigerator. Then we were told that it’s a LG warranty problem and I had to contact LG. I gave the 4 stars because of the wait time. The repair guy was very nice and knowledgeable but couldn’t fix it because it was the compressor under LG responsibility.

Two different repairmen came to my home for garbage disposal repair and living room ceiling fan. Both told me they could not be repaired so the disposal man (Anthony) would return with a new one. Two weeks later I e-mailed asking if he was coming back. He replied he would be there in five days. The ceiling fan repairman (Arturo) offered me the $70 fan replacement (on July 2nd) and I told him I would get my own and call him when I was ready. I called four days later. Did not hear from him so I sent him a text on July 15th asking if he was going to return. He sent a text back asking for my address!!! Can not believe I had to contact them two weeks after they cashed my checks!!!

I will say my last few experiences have been more positive. A recent repair of my washing machine was well evaluated, promptly and properly addressed by an excellent professional. Overall I appreciate how easy it is to file a claim and how smooth and quickly the process works. Once a company is assigned to the claim, the company information is available and I can communicate with them directly. One downfall is that you cannot combine related issues and have to file separate claims and pay for each, even if the same company is completing the work on the same day. Another issue is if the problem in the claim continues to be a problem, you can’t reopen the claim and update the information, you have to file another claim. All in all, I’d recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone in need of a home warranty company.

Choice Home Warranty was the EASIEST warranty company I ever worked with. I had my first claim with them, a broken ice maker. My initial reporting had a response from them within 24 hours. The repairman was TOP NOTCHED. He knew what he was doing, was funny, polite, professional and we couldn't ask for more. We paid our deductible and that was it. No mickey mousing around. I had two other warranty companies over the past 16 years and they were horrible to deal with. CHOOSE Choice Home Warranty company.

On our 2nd claim tech found our washer could not be repaired, bearings were not available anymore, We went out to purchase a new washer and found we could not find one for less than $600 dollars . Choice would only allow $406 dollars so we had to lay out the rest out of pocket plus the $75 dollars for the service call . We thought washer would be fully covered by Choice !

It was easy to submit my request. The tech comae out assessed the job and reported back to Choice. It was approved quickly and they were on it. I received a quote for work that needed to be done. It only took a few days between ordering parts, installation and me having a new working air conditioning unit. I recently switched form another warranty company, so have not been with Choice that long, but I have to say I’m impressed.

Choice home warranty is the best. They have never failed me not even once each time I needed repair. They are prompt, and professional. Last week they fixed my dryer and replaced parts the same day. Last month I called them because my furnace heater is not turning on abd it was cold in the house. They arrived as promised and said I needed new furnace and few days later they approved it to replace a new furnace and replaced it in ni time. Alex the HVAC person was nice, honest, and prompt and fixed it. Choice home is is the best. I love it.

The Company was responsive when my double oven stopped working. It turned out it was the front top electronic panel needed replacement. They contracted with a Company that came out right away and they diagnosed the part and ordered it. When it came in, the Technician came out quickly to install it but it turned out he needed a 2nd person. It was rescheduled, and I now have a working oven! I am happy with my decision to sign up for a 3-year plan with Choice Warranty!

it is very difficult to find the right contractor to repair or replace a particular item, especially if name brands are involved like with Refrigerators, Ovens, Dishwashers etc. Choice has all these contractors and appliance repair companies under contract and will select the appropriate company to handle your claim in a very short response time . You could not get that kind of response if you did this on your own.

The first warranty claim took 6 weeks to complete for a door bell chime. The last two were much better in getting the repairs completed. The other issue I have is that when it comes to replacement you only paid me for what The first call took for a door bell chime repair took over 6 weeks and I had to spend over 12 hours on the phone with you until the repair was completed. The last two repairs were much better to complete the repairs. The other issue I have is that when it comes to replacement you only paid me for what my dishwasher was worth and not the cost of a new replacement. I was told during my first contact with you that if an item couldn't be fixed you would replace that item with a new appliance at no additional cost. I was told you would replace the dishwasher or any other appliance no matter what the age ould not have purchased the warranty if I didn't think it had value. age if you couldn't be repaired

I’ve tried 2 other warranty companies where I was with one for over 15 years and the second for 2 years. I changed companies because their technicians were not always experienced. On several occasions they had to send other technicians to correct problems created by the first technician. I found Choice to have excellent quality checks on their selection of technicians.

We had an original problem that was solved by calling another HVAC contractor. This contractor traveled to and from our home that is close to 300 miles from us. We were his only call here. He was very personable and capable. He filled the freon in our AC unit and that solved the problem. He said to give him a call if we had any other problems with the unit within 30 days.

The resolution representative was very patient, helpful and understanding. If it was not for her I would have closed my two accounts with Choice Home Warranty. The claims department never tried to make any concessions for the problem even though I believe the technician did not initially make a correct statement as to the issues at hand. Even after the video presented which did not reflect a torn anything on the refrigerator (it was usual wear and tear for being 7 years old. There are circumstances where they be abuse but I provide exception properties with high end appliances. I still feel CHW should have paid for the part.

I have had Choice for over 6 years at both where I live now and my former residence. There have been no issues except the first time I placed a claim at my second residence. It was finally resolved, but I had to do extensive work to get satisfaction - it was escalated to the person who handles the BBB complaints. Also, there was a bit of confusion on my recent claim and the scheduled appointment. It all worked out, but the Choice rep did not seem very clear on the situation which was frustrating....I had better communication with the company that came to do the work. Their prices are going up, and since I have not used it that much, I don't know if I will renew or not. The price is a little steep, so I will also check in to other options. All in all, they are a decent company.

I am so grateful to have purchased this product through Choice Home Warranty. They covered 100% of the damage part and negotiated the other part on my behalf. My A/C until was 20 years old and the handler needed full replacement . The handler’s parts and labor were fully covered. Now the compressor, though that was still operational and did not need to be replaced had to be replaced in order for Choice Home Warranty to cover the handler. I know this may not make sense to many, but it does to me. They negotiated the price of a new compressor and the labor to install as well. All in all, a 5 ton A/C Carrier Unit set us back $3,500. In my opinion, this was a great purchase. Thank you Truist A/C and Choice Home Warranty.

Overall Good I just have only one issue and would like to bring it up: Recently we did have one issue with the shower faucet leaked ; filed claim have plumbing co came .. I told him the shower catridge issue might need to replace .after technician dudvgssed with co and he worked with CHW then CHW tọc me I ll have to pay $800.00 to replace the main valve..I said No …. And asked to have second opinion but CHW didn’t …i then hire the local hàndy man plumber to purchased the shower catridge and replaced the old one …cost total $175.00!…..I never have any issue in the past til this time….is this the right practice???
