A customer since 2023, Choice Home Warranty has been responsive in requests for garage door repair and plumbing (leaky faucet) repair. The $75 fee is reasonable. My only concern is that the technicians they work with have been sub-optimal. The garage door required a re-visit after a week (and repeat service charge) because the first technician didn't recognize the failing gear sprocket at the root of the door travel problem, and the plumbing technician, knowing the hardware brand was Delta, arrived with the wrong part, requiring a 90-minute shopping trip after arrival. With that said, the repairs were timely and the warranty saved significant service costs.

we chose Choice Home Warranty first because they had a good deal if you get the 3 year or the 5 year package, while our previous Home warranty was raising the price year after year, and their service was ok but very slow, to get hold of a real person to speak to was a nightmare. with Choice HW they answer the call or they call back within the same day depending on how urgent the situation is. they send a technician with in 2-3 days and eventually they take care of the issue in timely manner.

When I signed up, I hoped that choice home warranty would be different from the others. Lucky for me it was. It is. When something goes wrong, they don't sit on it for days. They don't send out incompetent workers. Choice home warranty acts quickly and send's a competent person in their field of expertise to fix the problem immediately. thank you so much

I had American Home Warranty and was very unhappy with them! I switched to Choice Home Warranty and they have been Excellent! They cover things that my American home warranty didn't cover Or did a higher price! I love the fact most of the people that come out to do the repair are paid the service fee when they get here by me! The few that the service fee is deducted before the technician arrives is because they are Technicians licensed For that brand! Could not be happier!

Coming home from vacation to a freezing house is every homeowner's nightmare. We walked in last night and realized our heater had completely quit while we were away. I immediately hopped onto the Choice Home Warranty portal and registered a claim. I was worried it would take days to get someone out, but they assigned a technician within hours. The repair was done on time, the tech was professional, and my house is finally warm again. So glad I had this coverage in place—it turned a stressful situation into a quick fix. I chose Choice Home Warranty because it was listed as the best home warranty company. I already had a home warranty with a different company, and it was time to renew, the cost had gone up, and Choice was less expensive for the same coverage, so I switched. When I had to make a claim, I was pleased with how quickly they responded, but things went down from there. My contractor was finally assigned - it took 2 days - but he was unable to do the needed repair because his tools were being repaired, so it would be at least a week before he could get here, and I had raw sewerage leaking into my basement at the time. I contacted Choice and was told I could get my own contractor and have him make the repair, but I would have to have choice approve it before any work could be done. This did not make me a happy customer, and I almost demanded my money returned so I could contract with a different company. I cooled down, jumped through the required hoops for Choice, got the repair done and last week received my refund check for paying the contractor. I am a bit disappointed that there was no one available to do the work in my area, which is what I was assured by the salesperson I talked to when I joined. I will see how much difficulty I encounter the next time I have a claim.

I was very pleased until I had a problem with my AC and the service man ,told me to send a video of what was happening to it , then he call me back and said that they had told him that it was nothing that had to do with CHOICE ,so it was nothing he coul do ,and he never came to look at it physically , I called a friend ,who gave a phone number of a friend of him , and he man came back, and fix it with a small part , he charged me $300 ,and it's been working for month ,four other times i call for my stove, (twice) and then 2. different times for my cloth washer and they were taking care very soon by some very profesional and nice workers

From the minute I called customer service to the day I received assistance on my dishwasher was an easy transaction. Furnace went out, our service that tuned up the a/c and furnace quoted nearly a $900 fix, we called Choice and within 10 minutes we had a referral for a company to fix the furnace. The company Choice sent arrived on time, and replaced a $10 part and the furnace fired right up and has been working correctly since! We only had to pay the $ 75 service fee. We will be using that company for our semi annual check ups from now on.

I've had a yearly Choice Home Warranty since 2021 but had never placed a claim. Then in Nov'25, I upgraded to a 3 1/2 yr coverage plan, which was more advantageous for me. Shortly after, I finally needed to file a claim for plumbing problems. Because of different issues, it took about 1 1/2 months to get everything resolved, including following up to get reimbursed for replacement of my bathroom faucet. Sent receipt for item and check, including tax, being sent which should be received within 30 days. Hopefully, I won't experience any other problems requiring another claim to be placed soon!

We had plumbing/water issues in the shower. Before I called Choice Hoke Warranty (CHW), I called in a few other plumbers. I was hoping to save the $75 fee initially. They either didn't know how to fix this problem or were scamming me for massive payments that I felt were not nearly warranted. When I called CHW, they immediately dispatched the plumber from one the local vendors. What surprised me most was the fact that he immediately came in with all his equipment and diagnostics/cameras and immediately stared to diagnose the problem. The previous plumbers came in to look and assess, but didn't even bother to bring in their tools first. They were almost looking to first diagnose whether I would be willing to Pay their exorbitant rates. This vendor however (from Innovative Plumbing Everyday LLC) was amazing! Instead of trying to play me (scam me) like a fiddle - he immediately went to work and diagnose. Within an hour the entire job was done! No haggling, No negotiating, No BS. Furthermore, the technician's name was Ivan/Vanya. He was exceptionally professional and extremely capable. If I ever need to have a plumber on site again - I will beg CHW to only send me Ivan. I could not be happier with his work ethics and his ability to resolve the problem effectively - without any BS. Excellent choice of an amazing Vendor; contracted via CHW!!!

What I like about choice home warranty was the quick service that I got on the phone but in reality the service that I got from the technician was very lacking. The gentleman never showed up when he was supposed to and then he was late when he finally did show up and it's been a few months now and I still don't have the electric hook up to my stove or my kitchen or whatever else needs fixed. He was supposed to be here on December 30th and he said he called me but there's no record of him calling me so I have no idea what's up but I do like choice home warranty because they live up to their promises and I am very thankful that I got them I also do hope to see my technician very soon like he said he would be here.

I wasn't thinking straight about your rules when your service rep said he (I thinking you) wanted pay up front so I told him I'd give him half and only when the job was complete like the next day the other half. I should have told him to get it from you but I was only think about heat for my pet. I am only hoping you can see it in your heart to reimburse me if not the other, actually less than half $5004.00, then at least something to make me feel like a saved some money having Choice Policy. I notice Sam seems to be avoiding me since I paid him $200.00 extra dollars for a new humidifier. I sent Elizabeth Mollina a glowing review via email as your standard reporting method became too cumbersome getting involved with Google and passwords, 6 and even 4 didgit verifying codes before it would let my report using your system go to you. After spending over and hour trying to make it work I gave up and called Elizabeth to see if I could use email.

Shortly before my Choice Warranty was going to expire. I was contacted by an agent of Choice Warranty. My 5yrs warranty I recently had was expiring. Two day before it expired my Gas Water Heater I had for 5 years was leaking. I called Choice Warranty to put in a claim. The very next day, Choice Warranty had sent a Plummer to inspect my water heater, only to find out the water heater was completely gone. The Plummer requested to have the Gas Water Heater replaced. Within 24hours Choice Warranty approved my claim and a new water heater was installed. I had a payment to make but to cover the new water heater but Choice Warranty covered most of the cost. I’m glad I still had a couple of days left to fix my water heater. I was going to cancel my coverage once it expired because of financial problem. The agent was able to work out a 3 years warranty plan with 4 payments for 4 month. Giving me 3 years of coverages for my house. Thank you Choice Warranty for your speedy action when a situation occurs. Choice Warranty had excellent Customer Service, Very knowledgeable agents and friendly staffs. I’ve had policy over a year and didn’t need it, had actually forgotten about it. Proud I had it, seems like everything hit at once. AC stopped cooling last month of warmer weather, they came quickly and added Freon and checked other stuff. Within 2 weeks oven quit working of course right before holidays! Then same week it got real cold for Texas and of course heat wouldn’t work in central unit or gas heater on wall. It wasn’t covered due to power surge, wasn’t happy about that but still they fixed it cheaper than any other estimates. And told us about extra grounding precautions. Choice Home Warranty is great, Thank God for good people like them! In the end I’m very happy with results and service. I’m hoping this is the cycle of three and we’re done with this!!

Our washing machine is leaking water from the bottom and the garage floor was flooding. We have all of our appliances covered by Choice Home Warranty, so we called to have it repaired. The technician they sent to check it out determined that the pump seal was leaking and needed replacement. He was informed that due to the age of the washing machine the seal was no longer available. The technician called Choice Home Warranty and explained why the washer could not be repaired. Choice then sent us a email saying that they are are sending us a electronic Lowe's credit for $406.00 towards the purchase of a replacement washer. We are now waiting for the $406.00 electronic credit. I am very pleased with action Choice took to correct our washer problem.

I had water flowing into my basement, but there is no emergency getting somebody out to look at the situation when they did come out the technician determine that the problem was a clog underneath one of our toilets and had to remove it in order to clear it. I was told this wasn’t covered in charge extra for that. Then my outdoor faucet started leaking. They didn’t cover that either so what’s the point of having this?

I’m disappointed because it takes a long time to get something done and multiple calls to Choice or online to get a serviceman to come out. The issue is the call center with Choice. The trouble bleshooter who finally resolves it, Janice , is excellent but they make mistakes , so many of them, it is very frustrating the way the outsourced staff handles things. They seem to be reading off a script . I’ve spent so much ch time in feel that it isn’t been worth it.

The service controlled by Choice itself was horrible when it came to my washing machine!First,Choice did not "APPROVE" both parts the service co said the washer needed. Then you sent them WRONG part & we waited longer for it to arrive. There was miscommunication about 2 service times. I actually ordered the 2nd part myself so they would have both parts when they arrived.I liked service Co, but Choice tied their hands. Washer worked for 5 mins. I bought new one 🫩😡😡

Generally they come through with simple repairs. Often they cannot find someone fast enough to come to do repairs. When it comes to replacement of appliances they never allow the equal of what I own. I always buy the best and they just offer a replacement.
