The garage door repair company replaced one spring. The causes for the break were also addressed but, he charged me over $600.00 to fix the issue. Learned from CHOICE HOME WARRANTY that if he would have informed "CHW" your company would have covered it. He said they would not done so. Had another company come out after having issues with your contractors work...another $340.00. I did renew for one more year. That contractor should refund me for defrauding me. Pleased with CHW.

My first call after having Choice for more than a year went as smooth as possible. I called at 6pm, got through to the agent, they set up a ticket and had an appointment with contractor by 8:15 am. Next day. They came that day. This was for a water heater. It did take 2 days for delivery (we had snow)and when they brought it and opened the box, it had a large dent. No questions, they returned next day with a brand new one! All of the time/calls/ texts we were notified through the open work over with Choice. Above All Plumbing was Great to work with!!

Choice Home Warranty is a good company, but they have some vendors who are sub quality and do substandard work. I had a problem with the garage door opener, not syncing with the unit. The first vendor who came out claimed he had the solution and that the door problem was fixed. 10 minutes after you left I had the same problem again, so I called him directly to come back and make a solution. He returned and said, and all is well, but it wasn’t. I requested Choice to send out another vendor who came in within 10 minutes permanently solved the issue.

I am concerned that Choice Warranty does not have the ability to contact the company that was authorize to make the repairs to my refrigerator. The company came and evaluated what was required to make the repair and ordered the part. The part came in an the computer set the repair date two weeks from the arrival of the part. I question the delay and unable to contact company through the telephone number provided. The telephone immediately disconnects when answering the questions. Called Choice Warrant and they said they cannot call the company directly to expedite the repair.

The technician CHW sent for our bathroom sink faucet repair was awesome! Robert not only replaced the faucets, but he also replaced the turn off valves. I'm not sure if CHW reimbursed him for the costs of the faucet and valves; I do hope they did. CHW tried sending me another plumber for a leaking kitchen faucet several days later, but I requested Robert, RKS OK Plumbing, and CHW did authorize him (after a little bit of a hassle). This time I bought the replacement faucet and the extra tubing required at a cost of $125.00, and CHW is only reimbursing me $70. I can understand only reimbursing $70 for the faucet, as they state in our agreement they replace with Builder Grade only, but the extra tubing ($20+) should have been reimbursed. I also have had issues with my washing machine that CHW has taken care of...so far. The washer itself is poorly engineered, and I will be contacting Whirlpool directly about that. Again, the tech, Jamaal, is great. All in all, I would recommend CHW, but mainly because of their technicians.
