I don't think any company should give you $400. 00 for a washing machine in 2026. I don't believe you should have to wait 30 days for a replacement. I was with American Home Shield for almost 20 years. They replaced stove, refrigerator and water heater. The only reason I left them was the monthly cost was a $100.00. But Choice home warranty has been such a disappointment! I've never ever expected to have to wait for a replacement for 30 days. Who can go without a washing machine for a month? I've contacted the Attorney General's office. I know Arizona won a law suit and won! This is disgraceful what they are doing! I've also contacted the local news channel to do an investigative report.

We thought the service man was very good. He identified the problem and we were back up and running I a very short time. The only problem came from the wait for the appt. We had 4 days without AC which required us to have to buy a window unit. Sine we care for our 93 ye old know who’s is very ill going without AC wasn’t an option. This should have not been needed and we wasted $219. Please do a better job for your clients.

I originally had Choice when I purchased my home. We had several issues in the first year or so but some were just because we misunderstood the operation of some appliances. We paid the service fee as we knew that was the deal. But when we had a real problem with our water heater it was nothing but a hassle. We ended up paying almost $600 out of pocket, including the service fee and there was no actual available option to us. We could call out another plumber, but Choice would only reimburse the same amount, and they were more expensive. Basically, the plumber who did the job was the only one and they insisted on adding expense, without really explaining why. The lady at Choice that we did speak with, multiple times, was a very poor listener, was very defensive, interrupted us so we couldn't really explain our concerns and essentially had a take-it-or-leave-it approach. Had she taken the time to listen to our concerns, spoken to the plumber to understand the situation and shown some interest in resolving the issues, we would have been much happier. But I gotta say, you pay a plumber only $300 in labor to replace a water heater? Others were in the range of over $1000 in labor alone.

The peace of mind and convenience of having someone to call is great; however having the monthly premium increase by more than $10 ($120+/year) and having the cost for a claim increase from $75 to $100 is causing me to think about researching for a less expensive option.

Filed a claim on Sunday. Claim was accepted on Monday. Worker came and fixed the issue on Tuesday. Worker came out showed me what was wrong and educated on the issue and told me i can contact him personally and my insurance if something happens again. Service was great.

Have been a valued customer n have received above average service, but totally disappointed in the way my recent claim was handle, especially when it could have easily been classified an emergency......u r more than welcomed to call or email me for details. Needles to say was stuck w a $900+ bill, which was not even partially offset with some sort of refund......I'm seriously considering terminating service,,,,the next few days will determine my actions on the matter.

I chose CHW because I had 3 appliances that are 32 years old. My only complaint was that when my washer quit running, it took CHW 3 weeks to get a technician to come to my home. I didn't mind for my washing machine, but I wouldn't want to be without A/C for 3 weeks in July.

I was told I would get a knowledgeable and qualified plumber. Well the plumber never showed up when he said he would and with waiting 4-5 days, Choice told me to get my own plumber which I did. he came the day I called and put in a new water heater the next day which was Jan. 2nd and You approved his estimate and I have yet to see the check from you for the labor.

Contractors have 5 to 7 hour appointment time window. That's too long. A recent claim was marked closed when the repair had not been completed. Left messages in update message window saying the work not completed but no response until I called customer service. The first time I called I was told I could hand you and receive a call back. A while day went by with no call back. Customer service said I have an appointment this Friday but the contractor has not confirm.

I referred a friend to Choice Home warranty and the technician deemed his washing machine needed replaced and you warranted him only 409 dollars for replacement! I can't think of anywhere you can get one for that! I just ask that you treat him right! It puts my reputation on the line being I referred him to you!

EYEBEE came to my home for the oven repair. The gent said he would have to arrange for a second person to come with him. he said that he would go get the part. then call as to when he would be back. I have not heard from him. I called and Emailed EYEBEE to see what the status was, NO reply as of this date. It took them three tries to arrive on the 15th of Jan. THey had car trouble on the second try, that I could understand and then the cold and snow. Bur the short of it is that a get no reply from them. The 75 for the visit has been paid.

I have found that only 2 out of 6 claims that I submitted were covered. The other 4 claims were denied because it didnt cover an intermittent problem on the stove. They said my dishwasher frame was warped and not usual wear and tear, My dryer was a vent problem, not a dryer problem, even though the vent is part of the dryer system. They would not cover the claim when my kitchen sink literally fell from the granite countertop. I have been very disappointed in this home warrenty. They did not call or write back when I appealed each of these decisions. My appeal was completely ignored.

We thought this company would be helpful. The most recent plumber sent to fix our toilet was great. However in the past we have been sent service people who were lazy and didn’t really solve the problem. Our biggest issue is our sprinklers. We put in a request to have them fixed. We were sent a gardener who said the issue was beyond his expertise and we needed a SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN. We asked for one and were sent a plumber who said the issue was beyond his expertise and we needed a SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN. I think we were sent another plumber. We put the issue aside because it was winter and we weren’t using the sprinklers, but we still need a SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN

The company they contacted to replace my hot water heater still charged me $455 after the $100 deductible so I had to pay $555 total. What’s the purpose of having a warranty and the company forgot to hook the gas line up properly I smelled gas for 3 days then when they came out to fix that they forgot to relight the water heater I had to pay someone to come light it. Not amazing
