Choice Home Warranty has been extremely helpful and responsive to my repairs. Although, I am still learning how the process works with each repair, the results have been very good. There have been out of pocket expenses, however, the cost with the warranty coverage versus completely paying out of pocket appears to be reasonable and worthwhile. I especially love when I can request a vendor that is on the list who has performed work on an appliance that demonstrates excellent customer service and work. Learning the warranty process will take time to adjust to. The more claims that are submitted, you will be able to make your own assessment. So far my evaluation is very good. I thank everyone for their outstanding customer service, care, and support.

I'm very impressed with Choice Home Warranty. They have stood behind me for four issues this year. The fourth problem was rejected due to the incompetent plumber who erroneously reported to Choice that there was no issue with the plumbing. Since I possessed a Certified Home Inspection Report to prove there WAS a problem, I decided to pursue a second opinion which Choice allowed as a covered benefit. The seasoned subsequent plumber provided HIS report to Choice, which indeed verified work was necessary. With great relief I was told the work was a valid claim and will be covered by Choice. You are putting your home in secure hands when you invest in the peace of a Choice Home Warranty.

After CHW denied my claim to to replace my fridge, they gave me the opportunity to appeal their decision. I spoke with a Rep. to review and access the issue. She sent a second Tech out, which confirmed a replacement was need. CHW then said the claim was now honored and the replacement covered. I'm really not pleased with the replacement amount for a GE top of the line refidgerator ($818), that it took nearly 4 weeks to complete the process and not having a refridgerator for 4 weeks, and another possible 4 weeks to receiv e the reimbursement check ( 15 - 30 days). I did nothing wrong, just filed a claim and expected CHW to do their part.

I gave them 1 star because you can’t leave zero. Don’t waste your time or your money. I’ve needed them for 3 claims. Two of which they’ve never found anyone to take, and submitting a claim, after finding your own technician, results in non payment to you.

If I could rate them below 0, I would. I had a toilet blockage. I called Choice to have a plummer since you could not use the toilet. The problem was the toilet when flushed was backing up into the shower. The repairan said he had to send his findings to Choice for the warranty approval. Choice denied the claim. I decided I didn't want to fight the denial and called Choice and canceled my warranty with them, Plus Choice also charge me a fee to cancel the plan. I feel they are a scam. I called the same plumbing company Choice sent. The technician cleared the line within 15 min. I was happy to pay them. As I mentioned in my opinion Choice is a fraud, they could have ok'd the claim. I will make sure I spread the word about their POOR service, or I should say no service from Choice. Beware customers.

Don’t like the increased technician visit fee, especially since I wasn’t notified about it in advance. Additionally, what I was told would be a covered service was only compensated at less than a quarter of the amount quoted by the tech. So I essentially threw away $100 for the tech visit since I wasn’t prepared to pay $1,500 for a leak that should have been included in my warranty.

Filed a claim and you sent 911 Appliance and they provide a fault report that my stove was infested and the contact would not cover the repair. To this date I have not received the pictures or copy of the repair report. Very disappointed with your company. Will not recommend your company. My stove is not infested since I don’t have a problem with infection in my house.

S&C plumbing tried to fix leak under my sink. One week later it flooded again. S&C said they would be there on Mon. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called Choice to ask for help, THEY TRIED, BUT, WERE . NOT ABLE TO MAKED CONTACT ! After at least 10 calls & three no shows, I asked for my $85.00 refund. It's against Choice terms, they said NO. It's still leaking & I'm unable to use kitchen sink. I will not renew my policy!

First time. Learned the charge for repair/replace of $75 only covers visit and labor. When they say repair or replace they are not speaking of the cost of item needed for replacement. You also need to know exactly what you need. I marked kitchen faucet but it was the garbage disposal. I was charged two $75 even though plumber was here and $100 for garbage disposal. Total $250.

The claim filing process is convenient via their app which is great, however the quality of the companies that are automatically assigned to a claim is very poor or at best random in quality and professionalism. The CHW claims case managers are unprofessional with their primary focus on how to get out of a claim versus trying to understand and resolve the problem. You basically need a lawyer to get involved to ensure they don't give you the runaround! This is unfortunate as at first CHW comes across as a good company to work with.

You say you cover the ac but when something brokes you only cover this or that. The pay for a part that don't fix the probiem and you have to add a hold new system because the part is not compatible to your old system so why put it on.
