The service is slow, took three weeks to fix my plumbing issue. The reason it takes a little longer because the computer generates the schedule day and time instead of a person. You can call the professional but they’re so busy they go off the computer scheduling.

The last transaction with Choice was not a pleasant experience with the first agent. I ended up asking for a supervisor. He said he could not transfer me and a supervisor would call me back. 3 days later I'm still waiting for that call. I call Choice again. The second agent I would give five stars. Company assigned to my plumbing issue could not accommodate the time frame. 5 hour leeway is a big gap. 1star. She suggested I be reassigned to another company. I need 2 call back Choice to get another company. This time I ask to be assigned to Airpro Master. I was assigned to them once before. 5 stars for Airpro.

I’m disillusioned with Choice Home Warranty and will probably not renew later this year. They were unable to find any company in my area to repair my broken garage door. I had to find my own repair company and none of the ones I contacted would accept/work with Choice Home Warranty. In fact Precision garage doors doesn’t accept any home warranty companies

The repair company that Choice Home Warranty chose to work on my job continues to order the wrong parts. The repair technician shows extreme incompetence. I am left without a washing machine for a month now. After the first mistake I think Choice Home Warranty should have just ordered a new washing machine. Instead I face what could potentially be 2 months without a washing machine. I have been with Choice Home Warranty for 10 years and have never seen experienced this kind of poor customer service. I am seriously thinking about going to another Insurance Provider. Shame on you guys! After repeatedly increasing premiums every 2 years!

Most things are good customer service is friendly. Trying to get service in my area is difficult but when they finally do find a rep to come they are professional and timely. Although it takes a while. I was out of heat for almost 3 weeks during a very cold snap. I still have not had a microwave and it has been going on since October. They needed to send out a rep who looked at it made his repair details for them a second time to say they will reimburse me for buying a new one. I requested a check and I am still waiting for it.

Best bang for the buck. Had a dryer issue(no heat). Went online to Choice and filled out some simple information and the repair man showed up within 2 days. Got it fixed and running again quickly. You hope you don't have to use it, but it's great to have when things go wrong at home.

The service with Choice Home was flaw less. The Tech that came out diagnosed the problem immediately. He explained that it wasn't our dryer but the dryer vent. He referred us to another Tech who came out the same day and fixed the problem.

The Ads for Choice Home Warranty was very good. I had my first claim regarding a leak in my shower. They sent their Plumber contact, damage was assessed by one of the plumbers, gave his recommendations and one of the recommendations is to order the parts from DELTA since it has a lifetime warranty and CHW does not cover parts. We did. The work was delayed because DELTA was unable to send the parts in a timely manner. 5 weeks later the Plumbing company came and fixed the leak. We were charged $75.00 extra for cutting the "bonnet" part and that was okay with us. What we were not happy about is the way they left the fixture as is. If we were told that it needed other parts to make it look like a professional job and CHW does not cover those parts, we would have considered purchasing them ourselves. I have been with Choice for more than 10 years and they always respond quickly when I have a problem with my appliances. I also get follow up quickly if the technicians sent did not fix the assigned item. I simply request that they send highly experienced people and not someone doing OJT. I have been satisfied with them keeping my appliances working . They also helped replaced a gas stove and dryer that had served their time. They are easy to work with I do appreciate my associationj with them.

I shopped and signed up for 6 years. I've used it once for an ice maker, (fine) I used it for a water heater, it took a while , but in the end, it worked out. My garage door spring broke after mty wife went out, locking in my truck which I need daily , (ON A SATURDAY). Your answer was they'll be out Wednesday. Couldn't wait I called a reputable company out of St. George, Utah, they weren't on your list, (well they should be). I talked to your rep in Florida she thought I'd be able to get reimbursement if I went to an outside company . It cost me $2,200.00 because I COULD NOT WAIT) YOU MUST BROADEN YOUR LIST OF SUBS. CHOICE WAS A BIG MISTAKE. When it rains it pours ,our heat went out this weekend, I called , you hooked me up with AB&E heating and plumbing after waiting the weekend with no heat. They came yesterday and are working on the repairs. I'm seeing now that there are uncovered costs totalling $450, for what ? Edgar is working on it . After experiencing difficulty with the SOB (Some Other Brand) company, I was done with them! I had been paying for years and when I needed service, They DIDN'T have any service technicians in our area. Our furnace malfunctioned during the winter storm this week during a deep freeze and snow storm. I had to pay an HVAC repairman the full price to fix our furnace. With that being the case I decided to look for another Home Warranty Service. After carefully researching for an alternative I found Choice Home Warranty and researched their history. I received a call back from Jimmy W. He answered every one of my questions without hesitation. He went over ever option with me. He was very clear explaining the service and what was covered and pricing. He was very professional and courteous. He did not try to sell or oversell to me. I appreciated that aspect of our interaction. I am now more confident that this company will honor and provide the services that I may need. No hidden fees or costs. I recommend that anyone looking for a home warranty service to carefully research and evaluate each one to see the differences in policy coverage and cost. It was easy to file a claim online and pick from a drop down list of issues related to my problem and explain what some of the issues I was having. The technician called and setup a time to visit to investigate my issue. CHW quick response for the technician to move forward with the repair. I paid my deductible and everything was all good. My experience with Choice Home Warrenty was excellent. They dispatch the service personnel within 24 hours after the claims is raised. Their approval is very fast and the repair will get completed within maximum of 4 to 5 days (if they have to order for parts). If possible, they complete the repair the same day during the first appointment. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

From our first experience with choice warranty we would highly recommend choice warranty. We got immediate response to our problem with our washer. The technician showed up in less than a week. He had to order a part which only took a few days for him to come back and finish the job. I am a widow and bought a Choice Home Warranty. I don’t have specific dates, but CHW has helped me out more than a few times, Dishwasher repair, plumbing clogs. I have two new faucets, Thank you! My most recent is my furnace!!! YIKES!! My home warranty says it is covered… I have been able to age in place thanks to to this warranty. I will keep you posted on my broken furnace… I would recommend CHW to everyone I know!!!

I wasn't thinking straight about your rules when your service rep said he (I thinking you) wanted pay up front so I told him I'd give him half and only when the job was complete like the next day the other half. I should have told him to get it from you but I was only think about heat for my pet. I am only hoping you can see it in your heart to reimburse me if not the other, actually less than half $5004.00, then at least something to make me feel like a saved some money having Choice Policy. I notice Sam seems to be avoiding me since I paid him $200.00 extra dollars for a new humidifier. I sent Elizabeth Mollina a glowing review via email as your standard reporting method became too cumbersome getting involved with Google and passwords, 6 and even 4 didgit verifying codes before it would let my report using your system go to you. After spending over and hour trying to make it work I gave up and called Elizabeth to see if I could use email.

I put in a claim for my central heating unit on 1/142026. The Serviceman can out and couldn’t find anything wrong. Now today it’s running and cutting off again and blowing cold air. I tried to file a new claim but the previous claim is less than 30-days so it was reopened. I called and spoke with a Rep and told that I would be charged another $100 for the same issue. I change my payment from my Chase Debt card to my Citibank Credit and now I have a $100 service charge pending on both cards. Every time I file claim I have a problem.

We experienced a sewer obstruction - couldn’t use ANY water in the house. Filled out the online form explaining the problem (on a Friday morning), and was told that CHOICE would find a technician to help - within 2-3 business days!!! I called and told them we needed immediate attention, but got the same line. Saturday morning, with NO RESPONSE from CHOICE, I called a plumber who was at the house in 30 minutes and cleared the line. In this case CHOICE was useless, apparently with no capability to handle emergent problems. I will NOT be renewing my contract.
