Pros: It is very easy to file a claim with Choice Home Warranty (CHW). When filing a claim, a service provider is immediately sought by CHW followed by scheduling an appointment for service. Cons: The time for the service provider to obtain the necessary parts for the repair is not consistent. In some cases, parts are obtained the same day and in others it has taken up to 3 weeks.

The first company just wanted me to buy products from them and said it needed to be replace because said that is what the tech said. I hired outside company and it was an easy fix. The dishwasher took three times to fix. I hate that i have such a short time to review a tech that comes. Also it is hard to get info on what is covered. I call and i used web site. Neither was useful. The items were eventual fix and done well.

I do not like this unit you installed . It is not valences very good . It vibrates things out of my window . I wake the house up using it late . I’m glad you text me because I was about to call you this garbage disposal works but it a bad u it or bad design . I would like it changed out for a unit at least as good as I had . The old one did not vibrate this bad broken . I would appreciate you taking care of this matter . Unfortunately it took 2 weeks for an appointment with the repair company. But the good news is the repair company that was sent was excellent. I have had problems with other repair companies in the past . The tech was excellent and ordered all the right parts for the repair the 1st time. I have spare parts here from other repair companies that were not needed. Next time I need a repair company I will ask for the company that fixed my washer.

Both calls I’ve made have been for plumbing issues, and both times things were handled well. I was especially pleased with the pair that handled my kitchen faucet fix. They removed everything under the sink and put it back with no complaints! I have hip issues so couldn’t do it myself. So far, I’m very happy with my warranty!

I have been a customer of a competitor for home for about 7 years. I stopped paying for the service as a friend who is very handy does most of the work himself as he owns rentals. As I told Chris J during our initial conversation, that I used to do repairs myself but became disabled and can hardly do anything! The company itself is great. Very responsive to our needs. Showed concern for our issue. The last issue we called about, the technician that was sent only did half the work he should have. Our main line in the basement was backing up. There are tree roots in the pipe. The technician was told this and he only snaked the pipe to get the water to go down but refused to bring in an auger to chip out the roots. He said he would come back on his own time to do that and charge us $250 to $300.

This company is excellent and for ral Before when I bought a condo in Stuart I enroll in American Shiel that company lie they will fix nothing and to put an appliance new because they can not fixes is no going to happen the technician you have to paid $125 more than this wonderful insurance and on top of that when American Shield technicians come beside the $125 you have to paid it they want you for fixing to pay more ,the Technician this company send fix the problem and in less than an hours they approve me with a new motor for my air-condition Thanks Choice Home Warranty ! Denied claims that should have been approved. The contact person was no help. Approved claims take months to receive payment. Takes days to find a contractor for us, then we have to find our own contractor and go through a lengthy approval process for them. We have to pay the contractor and wait to be reimbursed for a ridiculous amount of time!

Not a good service! It's hard to get an actual person on the phone when you need to. They make promises and don't keep them. I can't recommend them. Most of the service techs they send out are nice enough, but the operators you speak to when you call say anything to keep you as a customer, but don't make good on those promises.
