We have had fairly good responses from CHOICE Warranty office. However, our last claim wish there was the garage door not working has been a disaster. It has been almost 3 weeks since the guy arrived and fixed it up. It worked for two or three days and then went on the blank. We are still waiting for someone to come and finish the job where you have to get out of the car every time we want to go in the garage and open and close the door it’s not easy for me. I’m only 5 foot tall. The service has been appalling today. When I called to ask why we had been put back to September 2, I was told because the guy had decided to take some days off just totally inefficient and unsatisfactory.

We bought a new home. They were good about fixing our dishwasher. Also, they had a repair person work on our HVAC. There was water damage to our ceiling from the problem with the HVAC, That was not covered, they said. However, both repairmen were knowledgeable in their field.

Choice has always been responsive and good to work with. Although my last issue with a microwave was not as pleasant as past interactions. The repair was expensive so I was told by choice that they would replace it. The amount they offered did not cover the cost of replacement and I encountered an installation fee. I have not received the Lowes gift card for the replacement to date. Disappointed to say the least.

I choose Choice because it was a better monthly. Biggest mistake!!! Choice home warranty SUCKS. I had a water leak and the plumber wasn't allowed to take the mirror off the wall to fix the leak. Instead they wanted a restoration company to bill my homeowners insurance. A guy I meet came over and fixed the leak. Within 15 mins he was in and out still isn't leaking. Now here is the Choice home warranty fraud. My AC Stopped working in late May I believe. Choice sent a guy out. I paid. The AC worked. In three weeks it quit working again. Another $100 for the next guy they sent out. Thursday July 2. He said the ac was wire wrong

It seem that your company lets the contractors dictates what they are going to do to solve the problem rather than you telling what you are going to do. I keep telling you that I need a thermostat and your contractor said no that I must have a broken wire which was not covered under my policy. So I gave up on the people at Choice and I called an air condition co. when they came I explain the problem and I told him I thought it was the thermostat he agreed he put in a thermostat and its been working fine ever since. His cost was 250.00$ an your contractor wanted 450.00

Although they were unable to send a Technician, I was able to use their "Reimbursement Plan" and get my regular Technician to fix my AC. The previous two times I was very unhappy with the technicians that arrived. As a result when my AC went out in Jan my son called a company he knew. The responded that day. I ended paying out of pocket. Because I didn't call you first my son said I probably can't be reimbursed. This time when it went out I called Choice and the technician responded that day. He resolved the problem. However, he had to return to resolve the problem again. He as good and I would recommend their company.

Choice would get a 5 rating. Giving a 3 because of repair service received. Washing maching was giving UB for unbalanced. Repair came to fix and only replaced 1 rod. There are 4 rods! It is suggested to replace all 4 at same time. He then told me to wash smaller loads to not get the UB, which I still get with a larger load. Whats the point of having a heavy duty washer if I can only wash small loads!

So far, I’ve only had one claim for my AC unit to have maintenance and repairs. It’s from the 80s so it will need to be replaced, but I was very disappointed to find out they’ll replace the unit but they don’t pay any of the labor cost which would probably run about $3500. So who wasn’t really happy about that but other than that, I’ve been pleased with the service.

I had two technicians out at the same time, one for dishwasher and one for refrigerator. They were thorough and got the dishwasher fixed. The refrigerator was not fixable, so I am getting money for replacement. It’s not near enough for a new refrigerator, but I’ll have to add my own money for one. All in all it was a good experience.

The technician you sent was good...very nice. There was no question that the washing machine impeller had disintegrated. However, the tech told me I had a water leak at the wall connection somewhere. That caused mt to call in a plumber who, after a thorough inspection, found no indication of a leak. That cost me $75 I really didn't have to spend.

Jason/Capital City Plumbing is great! First, he responded and completed the repair on a Sunday. He called after the auto-text went out and asked me to send a pic of the pipes, so when he arrived he had all the correct materials and was done in 20 minutes. He’s a third generation plumber, owner of his business, knows what he’s doing and great to work with.

It was a furnace out issue - the technician was to come in 24 to 48 hours. I wasn't holding my breath. I got a message that the technicians would come between 4 and 8 PM same day. I was expecting 7 or 7:30 - that's the was these "appointments" usually work out. I got a call at 4:10 - and they were at my house within 15 minutes. Turned out to be a simple problem - fixed on the spot. This experience was 100% different from my calls with two other home warranty companies. COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED!

My HOA called and informed us a neighbor believed they saw a leak spraying from our rooftop AC. I downloaded the Choice app in minutes and submitted a claim for service over the weekend. They put a temporary service fee hold on my card to reserve the service and had a technician there in less than 48 hours on-site to assess our AC. The technician had all the equipment he needed and was able to determine the leak was not from our AC and provided photos to report back to our HOA. Since no service was completed the technician was kind enough to waive the service call fee.

This was my first claim with Choice. The process for submitting a claim was easy and took no time at all. My technician was great and explained exactly what he was doing and how to try to prevent the same problem in the future. My repair was done quickly. The only issue was the day and time. I was just assigned one. It did not work for me and had to schedule with the technician who was very understanding and flexible. Awesome job to Sam’s Super Service Pro.

For the first time, Choice sent a well qualified (LG certified) technician to fix the icemaker problem we had on LG refrigerator. Although the technician left the icemaker not in completely working condition, he came back and fixed the minor issue. In the past, the several technicians assigned by Choice were either unqualified or incompetent wasting my time and money. I gave 4 stars this time, because I saw some improvement: quick job assignment and selection of a certified technician, work started and finished on time as agreed. I am wondering whether this improved experience is specifically with LG products and their trained technician, because LG is a reliable provider of products and services.

If you add additional coverage for a product like a GE Profile Icemaker, make sure you and the salesperson are on the same page. I understand they’re trying to make a sale, but promises based on misinformation can be very frustrating. A GE Profile Icemaker is apparently NOT considered a standalone ice maker, even though I was told by the salesperson that it would be covered. Just FYI for anyone thinking about adding this protection specifically for that appliance. My claims manager, Latasha, was very professional, even after my inner monologue failed me and I accidentally let a profanity slip. 😂 She handled it with the utmost professionalism and was able to offer me a free service call, refunding the service call fee for the GE Profile Icemaker that wasn’t covered under the additional policy I purchased specifically for that appliance. I do feel I’m entitled to a full refund of the additional policy, not just a partial refund, since I was sold coverage that apparently doesn’t apply to this product. I trust CHW will make this right. Other than this issue with the GE Profile Icemaker, CHW has been an excellent product for me so far.

With the hope that if I have appliance problems, that I could pay a small seevice fee, and my insurance/home warranty would cover any additional expenses even a new appliance if my are not able to be fixed. Choice Home Warranty has chosen Sears home services for my refrigerator, and where I live, Sears home services gives below average service and dont allow you to speak to them directly. Sears home services does everything through AI. Which means you dont get a heads uo phone call from a human saying they will be there in an hour, you get a text message from a number that is not a full phone number that auto responds generically by AI. Choice Home Warranty should choose not to partner with Sears, they make Choice Home Warranty look bad
