Had to cancel with Choice warranty and go to AHS. I was with.AHS for decades. They were fantastic. Replaced several appliances under my warranty. The premiums started to go up so I switched to Choice Warranty and the experience was horrible! They declined repairs on a blower fan that had outlived its life expectancy by two decades. Pay less get less.! I’m going back to American home shield

I give choice 2 stars I have been happy with choice for about 5 plus years. I would have given them 5 star but this last service call changed my score for choice. My AC was not working so I made a warrant call for my AC I paid the service fee. The service company came out to checkout my AC they said that it wasn't the AC that I had no electricity in my attic and so it needed a electrician. I put in a service call for the electrical. The electrician came and checked the electrical panel, the attic, the AC exchangers inside and outside they all had power he also checked the thermostat and it didn't work I asked if he was going to replace it. He stated that it was a heating and cooling problem. I would have to have them come back out. I called choice back because the service company that came out for the AC was not truthful about what they found and didn't check the thermostat to see if that was the problem so I had to call out another company (electrical). That cost me another service fee when I asked if they would refund my service fee because the AC company wasn't truthful when they came out. So I feel like I should not have to pay a service fee for the electrician if the AC company wasn't truthful. I have a video of the electrician in the attic checking for electricity and it had electricity in the attic. I was a loyal customer of choice and I feel choice lost stars for that. Choice needs to make it right if a company that they use is not truthful with there customers and your customer has to come out with another service fee because they were not truthful choice should refund the fee for the unreliable company.

We had washing machine that went bad in December 2025 that came with the house in 2006. We purchased the home in August 2015. Everything work well for 10 years. We notified CHOICE per contract. 2 techs visit and said it count not be repaired. Choice advised that the tech's could not locate a model # on the GE washer. So, now Choice advised they could not repair or replace the washer without a model #. We did not cause the problem of no model # on the washer. So Choice gave us a check of $300.00 for a new GE Profile Clothes Washer from Lowe's that cost $805.71. So Choice paid 37% and we paid 63% plus $75.00 service fee. That is a total cost of $580.71 to us when it should have been cover complete by CHOICE contract minus the $75.00 service fee. We had to go 6 weeks without a clothes washer and the expense of the new washer. To this date no one from CHOICE has ever told us when making the contract that we needed to be responsible to have or even know the Model on any of out appliances. In closing, we are cancelling our 6+ years contract which is now remaining just over 5 years still remaining. We will also advise the other neighbors that we got for CHOICE to cover of our problems since December 2025 with CHOICE over the last 2 months. I was assigned to BTS TOP TO BOTTOM It was not a good experience The technician came twice didn't fix the leakage I called back and they put the urgent tax to the technician again he still did not call me or text me ! I had to call CHW back again that claim was cancelked and another claim was opened !!! I'm really hoping this time I will be assigned to a reliable company)technician.

On 1/20/26 I summit a claim because of the washer machine was not working, the company Fizsmart appliance services came in, “fixed “ the washer machine but 4 days later there was a water leak. I called them multiple times and told them the problem but I am still waiting

There aren’t many other options. If there were, I’d seriously look into switching. There seems to be no sense of urgency and each time there seems to be an issue. Rarely do you get the issue fixed the first visit. Then it’s a waiting game. But they have no issue cashing my checks as soon as the get them.

The review is more based on the undependable service of the service provider assigned to repair my refrigerator He missed one appointment and failed to let me know he was sick, and then no showed to more scheduled appointments, Tech was was very nice and when he finally showed up de the work quickly and to date seem refrigerator is working ok. Service provider was had to contact by phone or text. Good communication was disappointing.

Your sales person lied to me to get a sale. I was deceived into thinking you would get me service within two days or be there if there is a problem. Once you assigned my claim to Whirlpool, you immediately changed the claim to complete. Whirlpool sent a text but did not have a technician out for a week. After part was ordered and received, they still did not have a technician scheduled to install parts. As long you are selecting Whirlpool for appliance claims your customers are waiting at least two weeks to get service. Your online chat did not provide me any help. Please change this feedback rating to a zero. I did not put this word "Amazing!' in this block. That is very deceiving.

Made a claim on my microwave on Jan. 20. A repairman was sent out on Jan.24 and he determined that the appliance needed a part that was not available and he would research to see if he could locate the part. As of Feb 5 I have had no communication from either Choice Home Warranty or the repairman.

The service is slow, took three weeks to fix my plumbing issue. The reason it takes a little longer because the computer generates the schedule day and time instead of a person. You can call the professional but they’re so busy they go off the computer scheduling.

The last transaction with Choice was not a pleasant experience with the first agent. I ended up asking for a supervisor. He said he could not transfer me and a supervisor would call me back. 3 days later I'm still waiting for that call. I call Choice again. The second agent I would give five stars. Company assigned to my plumbing issue could not accommodate the time frame. 5 hour leeway is a big gap. 1star. She suggested I be reassigned to another company. I need 2 call back Choice to get another company. This time I ask to be assigned to Airpro Master. I was assigned to them once before. 5 stars for Airpro.

I had to find my own repair company and none of the ones I contacted would accept/work with Choice Home Warranty. In fact Precision garage doors doesn’t accept any home warranty companies

The repair company that Choice Home Warranty chose to work on my job continues to order the wrong parts. The repair technician shows extreme incompetence. I am left without a washing machine for a month now. After the first mistake I think Choice Home Warranty should have just ordered a new washing machine. Instead I face what could potentially be 2 months without a washing machine. I have been with Choice Home Warranty for 10 years and have never seen experienced this kind of poor customer service. I am seriously thinking about going to another Insurance Provider. Shame on you guys! After repeatedly increasing premiums every 2 years!

I was disappointed that the main water valve (not the street valve) was not covered by the warranty. I had to call a local plumber to get water turns back on because Choice couldn’t get to us for another week. That cost me an additional $160.00 on top of the $65.00 service call by the Choice plumber.

I have had home warrànty only once before, when I got the call this time. I listened heard some of the same things but changes as well. For me last time was back the 1990s. It was good to hear some things changed some remain the same and quality of service goes up.
