Overall Good I just have only one issue and would like to bring it up: Recently we did have one issue with the shower faucet leaked ; filed claim have plumbing co came .. I told him the shower catridge issue might need to replace .after technician dudvgssed with co and he worked with CHW then CHW tọc me I ll have to pay $800.00 to replace the main valve..I said No …. And asked to have second opinion but CHW didn’t …i then hire the local hàndy man plumber to purchased the shower catridge and replaced the old one …cost total $175.00!…..I never have any issue in the past til this time….is this the right practice??? The only thing I've disliked--and it's not happened recently--is that if I've had an appliance problem, they often sent out repair people from Kenmore. Usually, I've had bad luck with repairs from Kenmore, so I've taken to telling CHOICE, don't send Kenmore people anymore. And they haven't. I've never had a major repair issue, like a kitchen range dying or a refrigerator simply biting the dust (so to speak), so I don't know how CHOICE with repairs or replacements with that sort of thing. But I recently renewed my membership for 6 years (Sept. 2030), and a friend has said the warranty will last longer than I will. (That's encouraging! I'm 82).

I had another company for over 20 years . I bought a house in 2004 and was part of a one year contract through the realtor after a year Injustice continued it and paid for it which I carried over on my next two purchases. They kept raising the contract amount every year as much as 20% and the last time was 50%. I had no expensive claims and over this time I paid them over $25,000 . So decided to do some research and came across Choice Home Warranty and after reading reviews I decided to cancel my previous home warranty company and go with Choice Home Warranty. This has been a wonderful experience. I wish I had switched over sooner! I lost so much money! The customer service has been superb. Based in the US and every person I have talked to has been courteous, professional and intelligible. Unlike the previous company who outsources their customer service to foreign countries and employees people who do not have a good command of the English language and do not care about their clients. The service provided by Choice Home Warranty is far superior to any company I’ve dealt with.

This company is excellent and for ral Before when I bought a condo in Stuart I enroll in American Shiel that company lie they will fix nothing and to put an appliance new because they can not fixes is no going to happen the technician you have to paid $125 more than this wonderful insurance and on top of that when American Shield technicians come beside the $125 you have to paid it they want you for fixing to pay more ,the Technician this company send fix the problem and in less than an hours they approve me with a new motor for my air-condition Thanks Choice Home Warranty ! I chose Home Warranty because a few if my friends referred me. Initially, I was reluctant but I was not happy with my former service. Well, much to my surprise and delight they were absolutely correct. Whenever there is a concern with my home, I call and the problem is addressed in a professional manner. The technicians have been responsible, respectful and helpful in informing me of what the concern is and usually have the part(s) to correct the situation. I have referred your company and several of them have made the switch and they, too are enjoying your service. Thank you for this survey. I like to balance things out. If my service was not good, I think it’s important to know so you can correct course as needed. If the service is good, I want you to continue and improve going forward. Again, thank you.

It took almost a week to deny my claim. They denied it right before a holiday when no one will come out, disgraceful. If they had read the claim and denied it right away, at least my garage door could have been fixed by the holiday on my dime. I am not disappointed that they denied my claim, my issue is when they got the contractor's explanation, saw it was an issue outside my policy, why did it still take them 6 days to deny it? My previously claims were fairly easy, but have never been worth the yearly or service fees.

The last guy that came here did not fix my dishwasher. He was not certified. He did not know what he was doing and he said it would take three weeks to get apart. I told him to leave because that didn’t sound right because I could get the part next day from Amazon. So sad. I still have a broken dishwasher probably going to fix tmyself.

We experienced poor service with Choice Company as our home warranty provider. The coverage was insufficient. Client claims were met with delayed responses. Typically, we had to rectify issues ourselves, and they often found justification to selectively cover certain repairs for their customers.

Absolutely worst company I've dealt with. It took three months to replace my HVAC system last summer to finally get A/C. We didn't test the heat since it was middle of the summer. When it got fall weather, we tried heat to find out that our Heat Pump had been replaced with an A/C only unit, and it was wired for a Heat Pump so the heat did not work. Even though this was an extension of the first work done incorrectly, CHW determined it was not covered due to it being over 30 days from the original claim. Absolutely ridiculous. This company looks for anyway to not cover a claim, and when they do, they go out of their way to get cheap used parts, and hire the worst technicians, because none of the good technicians will work for them. They are bad for the home owner and the technicians.

Claim was denied for false reason on my dishwasher. Choice denied claim because of a supposed power surge. Vendor put in writing that he did not tell them that. He said they asked if there was inclement weather around that time and told them there is no way to prove or disprove that. They will not honor the repair and claims specialist keeps canceling my scheduled appointments to speak to her. I have the emails to prove it. Now I find out they settled a gigantic lawsuit for doing that to customers over and over

The contractor assigned to me was very courteous and efficient when he came, but I have been trying to reach him for over a month, and he has yet to respond to my calls. He operates with one of those third-party numbers. That kind of service is unacceptable. I hope this is not standard for how you assign technicians to attend claims.

In my latest claim for a leaking washing machine , it took 2 weeks for appointment to assess damage. Waited another week to be notified I would get replacement value go $406.00 in form of gift card. I accepted. Was not told it could take up to 30 days for gift card to be emailed, nor was I told gift card email would be coming from Lowe’s, not from choice. This seems like an unreasonably long wait. It has been my experience that service is slow and claim is denied or a low value is offered. The least they could do is provide the gift card within 5 days.

The first thing I don't like is that they didn't notify me of my monthly payment increase which is 61 and change plus 100 flat rate paid in advance. 2nd my garbage disposal stopped working and they couldn't get a plumber. Started calling on Friday around 11 am. Took5 hrs and 8 calls to report and open a AC claim. I hired another company to troubleshoot my system before the long weekend. After that troubleshooting I paid him $99 and decided not to continue with his services. Called Choice around 5 PM and Got an automatic response with appointment for Monday 3-8 pm… On Monday an AC repairman called and said that I missed his appointment at 2 pm. Really? Wrong! I verified and my appointment WAS at 3-8 pm. Still, he showed up at 3:30 and found my system has a gas leak and needs refrigerant buy could not fix because he need authorization to perform the repairs. So, now he/we are awaiting authorization from Choice to repair or replace the system. I need my AC back functioning! Please, help!

I dislike the fact that it takes 20 days to process the claim to send me a Lowe’s gift card to replace my dryer and an additional 10 days to process the actual card. I pay you guys every month and I had to pay an $85 fee to the tech that came out for only 10 min. The process to help me get a replacement should never take up to 30 days when you have been paid now I am not getting help and there is no supervisor or personnel that can escalate this matter. I have 6 people in my home that I am responsible for making sure they can wash and dry their clothes. I have spent over $30 drying clothes in the past week and this isn’t feasible to do for 30 days. Not just the money to dry clothes but washing the clothes then driving to the laundromat to dry them for 6 people is insane. You guys don’t help homeowners you rip them off. ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COMPANY BECAUSE THIS IS SOME BS!
