Choice is wonderful. I've had to have the plumber twice in the last week, for 2 different problems - a toilet that wouldn't stop flowing, and a blocked sink. For the latter they sent a very nice young man called Omar from a different company. He had quite a struggle withe the old piping and draining system from 1950, but he persisted, did an excellent job, and cleaned up afterwards.

Very poor service from previous warranty company. Haven’t had anything done by you people. This is the first time. So far things have been going good. I was supposed to hear from someone yesterday or today so far nothing. But they said new disposal should be installed today or tomorrow and I still haven’t heard anything. The technician came and looked at the refrigerator and realized he needed a part. Did not have the part with him but the next day he was able to acquire one came back and the refrigerator is fixed.. I have used home choice warranty several times and they always do an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend this to any other home owner looking for a house warranty.

After the first person sent out did not complete the repair, they allowed us to find our own technician , who was able to come out right away and fix the issue. We had to pay upfront but we’re assured that we would be reimbursed for the entire amount within 30 days. The new pool pump that was installed works perfectly, so we were pleased that it got done quickly and professionally.

I’m very happy with Home Choice. Every time I filed a claim, they respond right away, and within 24hrs, a service technician was at my house. Formula Air did a good job fixing my heating unit which is over 20 years old, but it’s still working. I was having anxiety about my heat not working just when we was starting to have cold weather

The technicians were great. My problem has been with service. They scheduled a repair and charged me for the service call for something you don't fix and ask for my receipt and said it was their fault and they would give me a refund of the service fee then decided to give me a credit. I spoke to other warranty companies and they told me the Gasket falling off would be covered. Then I have reached out 4 time with no answers or call back. My card on file was canceled due to fraud and got a nasty email about it from your people because the payment wouldn't go through. Not because of money but update. Your problem not mine.

Shortly before my Choice Warranty was going to expire. I was contacted by an agent of Choice Warranty. My 5yrs warranty I recently had was expiring. Two day before it expired my Gas Water Heater I had for 5 years was leaking. I called Choice Warranty to put in a claim. The very next day, Choice Warranty had sent a Plummer to inspect my water heater, only to find out the water heater was completely gone. The Plummer requested to have the Gas Water Heater replaced. Within 24hours Choice Warranty approved my claim and a new water heater was installed. I had a payment to make but to cover the new water heater but Choice Warranty covered most of the cost. I’m glad I still had a couple of days left to fix my water heater. I was going to cancel my coverage once it expired because of financial problem. The agent was able to work out a 3 years warranty plan with 4 payments for 4 month. Giving me 3 years of coverages for my house. Thank you Choice Warranty for your speedy action when a situation occurs. Choice Warranty had excellent Customer Service, Very knowledgeable agents and friendly staffs. I’ve had policy over a year and didn’t need it, had actually forgotten about it. Proud I had it, seems like everything hit at once. AC stopped cooling last month of warmer weather, they came quickly and added Freon and checked other stuff. Within 2 weeks oven quit working of course right before holidays! Then same week it got real cold for Texas and of course heat wouldn’t work in central unit or gas heater on wall. It wasn’t covered due to power surge, wasn’t happy about that but still they fixed it cheaper than any other estimates. And told us about extra grounding precautions. Choice Home Warranty is great, Thank God for good people like them! In the end I’m very happy with results and service. I’m hoping this is the cycle of three and we’re done with this!!

Had a stove that was "years old " oven to burn out. I called Choice made appointment for Technician to come and check the stove. Tech came less than 10 minutes saw what the problem was. Documented that stove needed to be replaced. Took little less than 30 days to receive digital gift card towards replacment. I chose Choice because after researching home warranty companies they had the better rating from other customers that used Choice. This was the first time that I filed a claim. I am satisfied with my first time experience with Choice.

My hot water heater was leaking and I contacted Choice Home Warranty. They contacted a company Home Defense Plumbing and they came out quickly to assess the problem and found I would need a new hot water heater. They then approved this, and I received a new water heater. I did have to pay $480 out of pocket, which I don't understand; I thought it would be covered 100% after paying the $100 service call fee. So, I guess $580 is better than a couple of thousand dollars.

I called regarding my refrigerator was leaking some water dripping on my tiles. Called Choice and spoke a very kind and friendly agent who took all the information. She gave a phone me number for Whirlpool and and in a few hours I got a call from the authorized company. An agent came within 48 hours and in about 20 minutes solved the problem. There was a build up ice . The technician applied some heat and was all done. Thanks .

Recemtly we had a problem with our heating & air conditioner. I thought 9t was a thermostat issue. A tech came out and checked the system . She determined our furnace was running fine and air conditioner was operating fine. She installed a new thermostat and programed it to our specfic needs . She also instructed me on how to use it and our problem was solved. Very pleased with the entire way the situation was handled and resolved.

The company was highly rated and the price was right. We had become dissatisfied with our previous company, because they always seemed to come up with some technicality that prevented the repair from being covered. Choice does not have that problem. The choice technicians have always fixed the problem with no questions or technicalities. I guess or only issue is scheduling a technician seems to always be nearly a week out. So far this has not been a problem although it means we have to “live with the problem” for longer than we would like.

Now that I am a senior citizen I wanted to protect my appliances as they are very expensive to repair/replace. I reached out to CHW on Oct 30 at 1:24 am when I woke up very cold with my thermostat reading 59. Not terrible, but I have been waiting nearly one week now to have an HVAC Pro assigned to my claim. I chatted with them on line, twice in this interim, but just got the "bot answer", something like....... We are sorry you're cold but please have patience... Really? I live in southeast MA, it's going to be in the 30s next week . I called on the phone this morning and left my number for a call back. I was called in 18 minutes. The Rep offered a reimbursement option, but was afraid it will not be covered if the 'diagnosis' from a person of my choosing does not get approved, I'm out the full price charged by the contractor. The Rep understood and when I told her the same issue occurred and was repaired on Oct 9th, just 20 days ago, she was able to reopen the old claim and the same HVAC person I had before (and he was very good) is coming in two days. TALKING WITH A HUMAN IS A VERY GOOD THING! Thank you CHW.

I did not have any experience with home warranties. I asked around my friends, family, and neighbors. I was quite surprised to find out that they all had quite a range of different home warranty companies. None of them really stood out, but Choice Home Warranty seemed like it had a pretty good average satisfaction rating across the board. So I decided to go with Choice. I recently made a claim for my garage door opener that stopped working. Everything was fine and I am satisfied with the service, except ( according to the technician, the SOP for Choice was to always try to repair first and replacement was the final option if all else fails ). My repairs took 4 separate visits, spanning a couple of weeks due to having to order parts and waiting. The parts were major components of the opener and it did not make any sense to me, seemed faster and cheaper to just replace the whole complete unit ? He replaced a part, it failed... replaced another part, and it seemed fine. But a few days later the opener failed again. He replaced parts again and it failed. He came back a few days later and replaced the main assy, and things have been good since. Now, I understand that for a major appliance like a refrigerator, or washer / dryer, I can understand that. But a garage opener ? The repair technician was great, friendly and professional. The claims taker at Choice was also great, friendly, professional, and honestly seemed like she wanted to take care of my issue. My one and only concern is that the monthly rate for coverage is way too expensive. And this is what I hear from everyone. Some have cancelled their coverage stating that is is probably better to just set that money aside for when you need it. That is and average of about $ 700 a year. Go 2-3 years without a claim and you have $ 2,100 stashed away for when you need it. What about 5 -6 years that you don't have a claim ? Look, i'm not stupid. Its like any other insurance coverage, it's a gamble. There is always a possibility for a future expensive disaster. And when that time comes, you will be happy to have the protection and coverage. BUT, regardless, the monthly cost is still rather high. I'm on the fence about it. I'll continue to keep my policy, but I don't know for how long I can afford to do so ? Our washing machine is leaking water from the bottom and the garage floor was flooding. We have all of our appliances covered by Choice Home Warranty, so we called to have it repaired. The technician they sent to check it out determined that the pump seal was leaking and needed replacement. He was informed that due to the age of the washing machine the seal was no longer available. The technician called Choice Home Warranty and explained why the washer could not be repaired. Choice then sent us a email saying that they are are sending us a electronic Lowe's credit for $406.00 towards the purchase of a replacement washer. We are now waiting for the $406.00 electronic credit. I am very pleased with action Choice took to correct our washer problem.

They offered a discounted plan, which was pretty hard to refuse. First time I had to have someone come to repair my HVAC, the ability to request a technician wasn't too difficult and the time range for the home visit kept. This time I was not in a rush, so all was ok with the first date arranged, but when they offered to move up the call, I couldn't be happier. That was follow up! Technician was knowledgeable, friendly and even gave me some pointers on heating a cold basement; in conclusion - all went well, and it wasn't a traumatic encounter when the visit needed to be paid for. 5 stars this time, hoping it continues on this path.

I've been w/ choose home warranty for over 5 years now. And they have been truly a life saver, unexpectec situations that occurred involving appliances, plumbing and etc., etera would normally cost a homeowner thousands of dollars, but being with choice, home warranty has saved me thousands of dollars because I only pay for the tech to come out and based on the techs finding, they report it back to choice home warranty who then will approve or disapprove. I can't recall anytime that choice. Home warranty has ever disapproved any of my items to be either repaired or replaced- I've always had my items approved. Never have my claim request ever been denied - Choice Home Warranty my number one Exeptional maintenance home warranty service provider that I would definitely recommend to all home owners as they have nothing to loose but a whole lot to gain w/ Choice Home Warranty.

The refrigerator finally got fixed Saturday November 29th. I had to call four times to get answers when would they show. Had to order part and when I called they said part was in. Sunday November 30th a code showed up so I called them today to ask them what does that mean is it safe. Refrigerator is working just need answer. Will call Choice Warranty tomorrow to see if I can get answer. I understand it’s was during the holidays it took 21 days without a refrigerator. I couldn’t have Thanksgiving at my house but although I’m thankful to have family.

There was a long period of time (3 weeks) to begin the evaluation and/or repair process. Once done with that initial appointment, we once again waited almost two weeks for another appointment to occur. The end result was a unrepairable fridge/freezer unit because a very small fan inside the unit failed and could not seem to be repaired or replaced. The fan was 'toy-sized' and probably cost about 5 dollars to make somewhere overseas, but I ended up spending more than a thousand dollars to replace the fridge/freezer. Admittedly, the unit was around 22 years old, and the cash settlement to me was probably quite generous considering the age of stuff involved. I'm just disappointed that a part so cheap can lead to my replacement cost. I am not being critical of any person involved, just bummed about the time overall, and the unavailability of the fan unit.

I was disappointed when I made my request of a non-working microwave. I gave the model number and another #to the agent and she informed me that a GE representative would be contacting me. Three and a half weeks later he came. He never even opened the microwave. He immediately told me it would need to be replaced as they didn't even make the parts anymore. Seems to me that could have been determined when I made the original request. He said I would hear from you guys as to what you would do. I did hear about 15 minutes later. I was informed that I would get a gift card to Lowes for about $190. I had to go and buy a microwave and pay the additional cost plus instalation and dispose of the old one. I was also offered a check to me and allow me to buy the microwave wherever I choose. Today, about two months after the original request I got my microwave. It cost over $400. It is exactly like the one I had. Then to add insult to injury I still have not received my check from CHW.

Technician was on time but could not find anything wrong with our pipes. The problem could have been the gaskets on the faucets, but since they were not leaking he said he could not look at the faucets as this would not be covered under the warranty. I would think the warranty should have included the option for the technician to also look at the faucets to find out if they were the problem.
