I wanted a plan in place incase something went wrong with my appliances. They were great up until recently. I paid for the extra warranty to cover my Air Conditioner. The extra money I paid for the warranty was useless. I still came out of pocket almost $4000 for the new parts. If anybody was thinking about getting them make sure you read the fine print in the contract.

The technicians were fantastic, however in Arizona the urgency to resolve a air conditioner break down from Sunday early morning to not being fixed until Tuesday afternoon is a choice home warranty issue not the technicians they did not receive the work order until Tuesday morning . I would recommend the technicians yes :)

Customer service is difficult at times. When your company has sent out a tech to fix an issue and they do a FANTASIC job and you try to get the same GREAT company again that is STILL in your list of companies to use is a STRUGGLE. I understand there is a "system" but when your customers are happy with past vendors/tech it would be nice not to have to jump through hoops!!!

The coverage is decent but CHW is very careful to examine every claim for any reason to deny it. In addition, they are only willing to pay for expenses specifically connected to the failed item, e.g., if you’re water heater goes out, they will only pay for the water heater and not for the connections which must be replaced with the new water heater. Bottom line, you’re only covered for about 50% of the cost of replacing the water heater. It seems that anything that must replaced to get a new, working water heater should be covered.

I have had two opportunities to use CHW. The first was with an HVAC unit and I found CHW to be too controlling, even with very small expenses, delaying completion of the work. The second was repair of a garage door opener and it was a very good experience.

I don't understand why our kitchen faucet wasn't covered by our home warranty! Normal wear and tear is virtually one reason I PAY CHOICE WARRANTY for our home. So basically, any repairs could be determined as caused by normal wear and tear which wouldn't be covered by CHOICE WARRANTY! This is completely contrary to the purpose of a home warranty company's function and need. Why am I paying for a home warranty when they can use this reason not to do the repairs and/or replacement for COVERED ITEMS?

I’ve only used 3x and response times were great but not for my AC. Have to wait over a week and the inside of my home is 89 because it’s June in FL. The first guy upsold me $900 which later I realized I didn’t need. I’m 72 and living on a fixed income. I also thought they would replace faulty equipment with comparable parts but apparently I don’t have that add-on.

Professional arrived on time, and was respectful of property. He did an assessment and discovered the device was not repairable. He promptly got approval for replacement by installation of a new unit. He explained everything he was doing, cleaned up after himself and made sure I had the manual/warranty information etc. I appreciate being able to track his arrival and that he arrived on time.

Choice's online claim submission was very convenient and quick; I received confirmation and had a tech assigned and scheduled within 24 hours. I have not had to use the warranty for a couple of years, and then 3 incidents in a row, and they were all approved and completed with experienced technicians. It was a big relief to have the support when needed.

We had our oven go out. They came to our house they inspected. They realized that it was beyond repair, so they sent us a gift card, unfortunately the gift card was only about 70% of the cost. Me and my wife started to come out of pocket $300. Granted it's nice that we didn't have to pay the full price but still that's an inconvenience to go buy a new one, it's not that bad of a process, but it'd be a lot better if instead of giving us a gift card if choice would just pay to have the whole thing replaced and they go out of their way to have one shipped to our house instead of us having to take time out of our busy schedule to replace it. It. If they could do that it would be five stars

Regarding the central air service, the Parkway Heating and Air representative stated that their policy is that I sign "work completed" before he could/would do the work. He added 50% refrigerant and tightened a few hoses. The problen continues today, no cool or cold air, it is still simply blowing warm air. I placed a claim yesterday for the same service. Parkway said they will return if the problem is not fixed and today 7/11/2026 the same issue exists. The temp in my house is 82 and rising. Please send help. Thank you!!

A very good company that I chose signed up with you again for me. I was on the phone with the company for 4 hours in 3 days with Home Choice. I was pleased with the work but my tenant with 5 children was without hot water from Saturday to Friday before we could get it okayed snd thank goodness the company was willing to work hard to get hot water. Also they quit the warranty company because they haven’t been paid for other jobs but they helped me. I hope they get paid for my job. Also besides the 75.00 for my co pay You did not pay them the cost of the job and I had to pay 566.00 to get my work done. I thought with 4 houses with the company I would not have to pay that much more. You daid the labor was to much but the tank was in the garage over the washing machine. And had to have a second crew to help get it out and down. Then put back up.
