When I called choice and I told them the problem they got back to me in one day with my appointment for the technician to visit me but he didn’t show up at the given time of between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. I called Choice again then called the technician number and I spoke to I think his wife. She got a hold of the technician and he called me and asked if I wanted him to come late on Friday or to reschedule I said come now.

The only thing I don't like is that the contractor still has to be approved to provide the service. I also don't like that when you submit a service request, they don't review it beforehand; they just send someone out to your home. I think the service request should be reviewed and approved before a contractor is dispatched, rather than leaving the contractor uncertain about whether the service will be approved. I also don't like that they have so many different companies providing services. I had a bad experience with one company, so I had to call Home Choice Warranty back and request a different contractor. Overall, though, my experience has been good.

I love that a local technician was sent to fix my washing machine! Ryan at Convenient Appliance Service was on time and quickly assessed to determine the issue. Luckily, he also happened to have the part needed with him! He repaired the washer, cleaned up the area and made sure all was working properly. I had to notify Choice Home Warranty because my Air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. They sent out a repair person who check the a/c and found that it needed a part and that the freon was low. Choice Home Warranty would only let the repair person to replace the part and not recharge the system. If I wanted to have the recharge done I would have to send in another claim. That means I have to wait and I would have to pay another service charge. Not smart business. They should have repaired both items at once so the system would cool properly.

My husband had recently passed away and I hoped to take some of the worry off regarding replacing applicances and other items that were listed to be covered in the contract. Thus far have a replacement with a bath fan installed after a repair that did not fix it, so had to have a new one put in...2 service calls. An earlier stove issue did have a check issued for a partial amount towards a stove, thank you. About 1/4 the cost of average replacement not like quality in value but yes it was an older gas stove. I have learned of course I must use your techs even though I had an EMERGENCY as a water line to w/dryer burst....thinking it was covered I submitted. It just so happened I had a plumber here installing an outdoor faucet. He quickly turned off water at exterior and then replaced the part as it truly was flooding my laundry, office and closet nearby. I still feel since he helped by replacing the part that I should have something due me, at least for the burst hose connector and the fact it was an emergency and could not call one of your techs. However, it was denied. Plumber sent a report as requested. I did not enter the AMAZING in green below. Hopefully one day.

Great service. I was a little concerned that Choice was cheaper than other home warranty services out there and what that would mean, so I am just writing this to let others know that actually they were fair and responsive to me and I am relieved I went with them for a 2 year discount deal. Insurance can be a strange business area, but the one time new home lock change that choice offers that we used has already offset a chunk of our annual payment. Choice was prompt and responsive, and the $75 callout fee was much cheaper than the lock changes I needed would have been otherwise, and besides they used a reputable service. Its a good idea to change locks on a new home, and this is just an obvious benefit of going with Choice, alongside their competitive rates. The tech they sent knew the policies well, he arrived within the time window, and he worked with me to satisfactorily resolve my issue. Hopefully I never need this service again, but if I do I won't complain.

Excellent response time today getting my water heater running again. I opened a service ticket at 0830 this morning and the service provider arrived at 1330 and work was completed ten minutes later! Has to be a new record for Choice! Of course it was a simple fix but if you didn’t know what to look for, and what to do once you find out what’s wrong, it could still go on to something worse or even a replacement if the service provider isn’t an honest man. This one was and I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty to utilize his skills as often as possible for any plumbing problem. One Good Plumber is the name of the company that gave me supreme service and diagnosed the problem instantly.

I put in a request to have my refrigerator freezers, icemaker, fixed, or replaced. They answered within hours to let me know they were working on it. Within less than 24 hours, I had an appointment. The young man who came was very polite, courteous, and professional. I told him what the problem was and he immediately went to work. It took him less than an hour to get the job done. I needed a new icemaker. The other one was burned out in two places, which he showed me. He did not have an icemaker on him for my model refrigerator so he ordered it. When it comes in, he will return and replace my dead icemaker. I would highly recommend CHOICE. They are professional, courteous, and value my time. It was just like on the commercial. 😂

We have used this warranty about 5 times since we bought it. When a problem arises, it does take longer to get a service man than it would if we called our own. Nevertheless, all service personnel except for one have been knowledgeable and able to fix our problems. Only one tried to tell us that there was no problem. We got another man and he knew exactly what the problem was and what was needed to fix it. We are pleased to have this service.

The Warranty Company is ok, my problem is getting replacement parts, tech came out to replace garbage disposal on 7-16 still waiting for disposal. Now he says it will be the 7/28 or29th before he will finally replace disposal. Why couldn't he have gotten a disposal at Lowe's or Home Depot. Job would already be done. Having to keep a bucket under sink, and dumping it is not acceptable

I have previously used Total Home Warranty (My least favorite), American Home Shield (Ok), and Home Warranty of America (Good), but Choice Home Warranty has exceeded my expectations.
