Notified Choice Home Warranty concerning a problem with my disposal. Received a confirmation of receipt, reference number and explanation of procedures moving forward. Had an appointment within two days, included name and telephone number of plumber and date/time for the repair. The Plumber was a seasoned professional, friendly and had my situation corrected with 20 minutes of arrival. So impressed with Choice Home Warranty! Rare today to find a company that stands behind all their claims and guarantees. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty to my family because they are that great!!! Thank You!

I purchased my home warranty from Choice Home Warranty. The people who did my loan never said a thing to me about a home warranty. After 3 years, i found out I had actually paid for one thru them. I really hated the way I was treated by them. So I purchased my warranty for 5 years and only used them three times now. I feel they are well worth the investment and as long as I can afford it, I will continue purchasing it, even if I pay on a monthly rate instead of a yearly. All three times I've been treated fairly and courteously I purchased the original April or May of 2022. One call the lady tried to tell me I did not have a warranty with them, I got it out, gave her the information and asked to speak to the sales department. Setting up my repair online was a pain for me. That could have been because of things they asked in the set up or because I'm 71. I'm not sure anymore. I have already made a pest of myself because I keep telling folks to get their home on a warranty and to call Choice.

I called regarding my refrigerator was leaking some water dripping on my tiles. Called Choice and spoke a very kind and friendly agent who took all the information. She gave a phone me number for Whirlpool and and in a few hours I got a call from the authorized company. An agent came within 48 hours and in about 20 minutes solved the problem. There was a build up ice . The technician applied some heat and was all done. Thanks .

Recemtly we had a problem with our heating & air conditioner. I thought 9t was a thermostat issue. A tech came out and checked the system . She determined our furnace was running fine and air conditioner was operating fine. She installed a new thermostat and programed it to our specfic needs . She also instructed me on how to use it and our problem was solved. Very pleased with the entire way the situation was handled and resolved.

The company was highly rated and the price was right. We had become dissatisfied with our previous company, because they always seemed to come up with some technicality that prevented the repair from being covered. Choice does not have that problem. The choice technicians have always fixed the problem with no questions or technicalities. I guess or only issue is scheduling a technician seems to always be nearly a week out. So far this has not been a problem although it means we have to “live with the problem” for longer than we would like.

Now that I am a senior citizen I wanted to protect my appliances as they are very expensive to repair/replace. I reached out to CHW on Oct 30 at 1:24 am when I woke up very cold with my thermostat reading 59. Not terrible, but I have been waiting nearly one week now to have an HVAC Pro assigned to my claim. I chatted with them on line, twice in this interim, but just got the "bot answer", something like....... We are sorry you're cold but please have patience... Really? I live in southeast MA, it's going to be in the 30s next week . I called on the phone this morning and left my number for a call back. I was called in 18 minutes. The Rep offered a reimbursement option, but was afraid it will not be covered if the 'diagnosis' from a person of my choosing does not get approved, I'm out the full price charged by the contractor. The Rep understood and when I told her the same issue occurred and was repaired on Oct 9th, just 20 days ago, she was able to reopen the old claim and the same HVAC person I had before (and he was very good) is coming in two days. TALKING WITH A HUMAN IS A VERY GOOD THING! Thank you CHW.

I did not have any experience with home warranties. I asked around my friends, family, and neighbors. I was quite surprised to find out that they all had quite a range of different home warranty companies. None of them really stood out, but Choice Home Warranty seemed like it had a pretty good average satisfaction rating across the board. So I decided to go with Choice. I recently made a claim for my garage door opener that stopped working. Everything was fine and I am satisfied with the service, except ( according to the technician, the SOP for Choice was to always try to repair first and replacement was the final option if all else fails ). My repairs took 4 separate visits, spanning a couple of weeks due to having to order parts and waiting. The parts were major components of the opener and it did not make any sense to me, seemed faster and cheaper to just replace the whole complete unit ? He replaced a part, it failed... replaced another part, and it seemed fine. But a few days later the opener failed again. He replaced parts again and it failed. He came back a few days later and replaced the main assy, and things have been good since. Now, I understand that for a major appliance like a refrigerator, or washer / dryer, I can understand that. But a garage opener ? The repair technician was great, friendly and professional. The claims taker at Choice was also great, friendly, professional, and honestly seemed like she wanted to take care of my issue. My one and only concern is that the monthly rate for coverage is way too expensive. And this is what I hear from everyone. Some have cancelled their coverage stating that is is probably better to just set that money aside for when you need it. That is and average of about $ 700 a year. Go 2-3 years without a claim and you have $ 2,100 stashed away for when you need it. What about 5 -6 years that you don't have a claim ? Look, i'm not stupid. Its like any other insurance coverage, it's a gamble. There is always a possibility for a future expensive disaster. And when that time comes, you will be happy to have the protection and coverage. BUT, regardless, the monthly cost is still rather high. I'm on the fence about it. I'll continue to keep my policy, but I don't know for how long I can afford to do so ? Just my 2 cents worth, thank you for letting me speak. Mike M.

My dishwasher wasn’t working properly. CHW responded to my request right away properly and was leaving a film on everything CHW responded to my request right away. They sent Mike W from whirlpool service to check the situation. He did a remarkable job and now it looks works brand new one. Thank you, Choice home #Warranty For taking care of this promptly. They offered a discounted plan, which was pretty hard to refuse. First time I had to have someone come to repair my HVAC, the ability to request a technician wasn't too difficult and the time range for the home visit kept. This time I was not in a rush, so all was ok with the first date arranged, but when they offered to move up the call, I couldn't be happier. That was follow up! Technician was knowledgeable, friendly and even gave me some pointers on heating a cold basement; in conclusion - all went well, and it wasn't a traumatic encounter when the visit needed to be paid for. 5 stars this time, hoping it continues on this path.

I've been w/ choose home warranty for over 5 years now. And they have been truly a life saver, unexpectec situations that occurred involving appliances, plumbing and etc., etera would normally cost a homeowner thousands of dollars, but being with choice, home warranty has saved me thousands of dollars because I only pay for the tech to come out and based on the techs finding, they report it back to choice home warranty who then will approve or disapprove. I can't recall anytime that choice. Home warranty has ever disapproved any of my items to be either repaired or replaced- I've always had my items approved. Never have my claim request ever been denied - Choice Home Warranty my number one Exeptional maintenance home warranty service provider that I would definitely recommend to all home owners as they have nothing to loose but a whole lot to gain w/ Choice Home Warranty.

This particular experience with my a/c going out in 90 degrees weather was wonderful. Choice immediately assigned my claim to Danielle K and she was outstanding. She listened, she heard me and she responded quickly. The service contractor they sent out was Blu Home Service and we have never experienced such a qualified, professional and personable contractors. I have not always been happy with Choice but when I renewed this year the young man assured me they had a lot more service contractors in my area and promised better service in the future. Choice lived up to that young man’s word. Danielle deserves a huge shout out as well as Blu Home Service.

They gave me a fraction of the cost to replace my range after I had made payments for three years to their company I just thought they could do better. If I had put that money aside myself instead of giving it to them I would have been able to replace my stove and have money left over. I think they are a money grab company. You may have better luck. I have since cancelled my policy with them.

This is a terrible company. They don’t answer their phones. They immediately take the money for the trip charge & do nothing. Ours sat in his truck for 1/2 hour & left. They close out your claim without notice. They don’t fix what you called them for. They say they’ll refer it for approval for repairs & that’s it. Never get back to you. The new scam is they’ll allow you to find your own company to do the work & will reimburse that company then if the repairs have been approved. Do Not do business with this company.

Had several visits regarding my A/C system with no resolution. Paid $700 for two visits and a recommended dye check to find a leak. The leak took too long to show up again so a new ticket was charged. New service tech found leak and recommended a coil replacement. Stop leak was added instead. I cancelled my contract after going over a week in Florida without A/C. My system is now low on refrigerant again.

Having your call center going over seas is horrible. Most times they follow a script and when you request an Employee in the US they refuse. I had an issue with trying to get another company to fix my washer after the other company visited my home well over 6 times with the problem not fixed in the course of 6 weeks. Family of 7 imagine your family not being able to wash clothes for 1 week now imagine 6 and it’s still not fixed during this writing.
