The last guy that came here did not fix my dishwasher. He was not certified. He did not know what he was doing and he said it would take three weeks to get apart. I told him to leave because that didn’t sound right because I could get the part next day from Amazon. So sad. I still have a broken dishwasher probably going to fix tmyself.

I signed up for this home warranty expecting peace of mind, but it’s been nothing short of frustrating. When something breaks, they do not send qualified technicians promptly—sometimes no one shows up at all. Instead of honoring their coverage, they look for any excuse to deny the claim, whether it’s blaming “pre-existing conditions” or saying the issue isn’t covered. Communication is poor, delays are constant, and the entire process feels designed to avoid paying for repairs. If you value your time and money, steer clear of this company. A warranty should provide support, not stress.

We paid the service call , choice than quoted at price of more than the hot water heater would cost for installation. We ended up buying the water heater and had it installed ourself and they did they us a check for 350.00 dollars on a 500.00 water heater plus installation so it ended up being more costly than if we did it ourselves. Since than I have canceled my policy buyer beware after all the money we paid on monthly payments they wouldn’t hold up there end

CHOICE WARRANTY IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER !! THEIR MISSION STATEMENT IS " DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO GET OUT OF PAYING" I WAS THEIR BIGGEST SUPPORTER UNTIL THEY WANTED TO REPLACE MY $265 FAUCET WITH A $70 DOLLAR ONE..THEN DIDN'T EVEN PAY ME THAT. Did not agree with customer service agent who decided to only pay out for a compressor on my hvac system, even though a very qualified technician provided documentation that stated the entire unit needed replaced. I was going to continue being a loyal customer before this decision but I'm shopping for a different warranty company.

But I am disappointed in that Choice did not share in the expense of the replacement of a thirty year old appliance that was rusting out.

The repair for my dryer has not been completed. The service tech had to order the new motor. But he has not returned to install it. I got in touch with him but he said he was short handed and would get to me soon. So job is incomplete. On AC the claim was DENIED stating the blower/motor was not working because of unusual wear and tear. That is complete nonsense. Your company serviced the AC in Feb and nothing was found. Now I am told unusual wear and tear. No a happy customer.

I placed an order to have my microwave serviced on 5Aug2025. I was told the part would be ordered the same day 5Aug and they would return the following week to install it. That never happened I reached out to Georgia Appliance Pros and was told they would order the part it was the 28Aug and it could possibly be delayed because of Labor Day. Well today is 12Sep still no call to service my microwave which was supposedly ordered 5Aug. When I tried reaching Georgia Appliance Pros is refer you to another number which is not in service. I reached out to Choice and was talked to like I was bothering them. They were very rude, one representative told me she would reach out to Georgia Appliance which she did but they only send emails. Choice should know who they have working with them because they have lost a customer. Oh and I forgot t mention they take 46.00 from my account every month and I have to feel like I'm bothering them because I check to see what's going on with my service that I've paid for.

Unfortunately my experience with this company has left many things to be desired. I had an appliance go out and they refused to fix it and instead cut me a check.. problem is the check for for 200 less than the cheapest model anywhere.. then install and extra parts for the new model were required (which i understand install isnt part of the warranty). I ended up paying 500$ out of pocket that I didn't have. No a happy customer with their policies and will be switching.

I liked that a tech came out and fixed my Air conditioner quickly. Then with my Refrigerator breaking down I am still waiting a month later for the tech to return with the apparatus yo fix the refrigerator. I was not informed on the timeline when someone will return with the piece to fix it a month later I am still waiting. I have to go out daily to eat. What’s up? When will it be fixed or relaxed I am waiting. Not amazing

The support described in the warranty policy is not supported through action. Oftentimes, when we created a claim, the technician would find that the defective parts weren’t covered or the that item wasn’t broken thereby denying my claim. I paid extra for the roof coverage. When I attempted to make a claim, the technician claimed that there was no leak. There was a water stain on the ceiling and I have video of the sound of the leak during a rain storm. Coincidentally, the same technician made an offer to do an independent inspection and make any repairs that he found - outside of the Choice relationship. This misdiagnosis and subsequent independent offer happened repeatedly. We’re better off paying for repairs out of pocket. The warranty was a waste of money.

I could not figure out how to do half a star or that would be my rating. I just canceled my plan with them and it took 3 calls arguing with them to accomplish that task. Prior to that I requested a service call and they never assigned me a tech I called them once and said asked about it and they said they were working on it. This was my fridge btw so we were basically living out of ice chests and getting ice for them daily. After about a week I called again and they said they were still working on it but they would authorize me to get my own tech. I did and he came out and thought he fixed it but did not so I have lost most everything in my freezer twice now. My tech came out 2 more times and still could not id the problem. When getting your own tech you have to pay everything out of pocket to your tech and then they decide what they will cover and reimburse you, allegedly… So I am over 300$ deep to the tech now fridge not fixed that is not counting all the money I lost on food. And no I am not on food stamps or any other state or tribally funded assistance. So now is when I call and ask to cancel my plan and as I mentioned before it took 3 calls and arguing to get then done. So it is safe to say I am extremely disappointed in this company and would strongly recommend anyone I talk to not to use them. I have not been reimbursed yet and they told me over a week ago the check was in the mail. How they electronically deposited my cancellation credit and I did have that in my account this morning.

I dislike the fact that it takes 20 days to process the claim to send me a Lowe’s gift card to replace my dryer and an additional 10 days to process the actual card. I pay you guys every month and I had to pay an $85 fee to the tech that came out for only 10 min. The process to help me get a replacement should never take up to 30 days when you have been paid now I am not getting help and there is no supervisor or personnel that can escalate this matter. I have 6 people in my home that I am responsible for making sure they can wash and dry their clothes. I have spent over $30 drying clothes in the past week and this isn’t feasible to do for 30 days. Not just the money to dry clothes but washing the clothes then driving to the laundromat to dry them for 6 people is insane. You guys don’t help homeowners you rip them off. ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COMPANY BECAUSE THIS IS SOME BS!

I changed from American Home Shield, after being with them for over 15 years, thinking your company was as good as the ratings, but absolutely NOT! You don’t cover as near as much and your contractors , some of them, have low skills and most of all, a horrible attitude and customer service. You have one technician who rather work for themselves instead of your company. My experience with your company, for these 4 months, has been terrible! I don’t recommend anyone changing from AHS to you… big mistake. You all must have had people you paid to do the reviews because I always check reviews on everything.

This claim was for my air conditioning system. It took the technician several days to get to me to set up an appointment, and he found that the unit itself is working, but the thermostat and wiring to the unit was faulty. I paid $100 for the service call. It took two more weeks for the technician to come back and replace the thermostat. When I ask him if it worked now, he said no because the wiring was not covered under the warranty. I’m still not certain how a “system “which can’t complete Sending information to its parts wouldn’t all be covered. My claims manager was very nice, but said that wiring doesn’t usually fail so that would be considered an abnormal failure and choice warranty does not cover abnormal failures. So I will have to pay someone to come and replace the wire. I have still not seen a settlement statement showing how much the thermostat cost. I am just assuming the original hundred dollars must’ve covered it. This is my second disappointing claim with this company when my gas range top went out and Ireceived $300 to replace a $1200 gas range top. After the service call charge was factored in, $200 certainly did not replace the range top. I gave three stars because of the quick response of choice #Warranty acknowledging my claim and for the ease of filing the information online. Those are the only reasons because financially and logically I don’t believe that I have received a fair value for my $93 a month which I have paid now for over two years

when I buy Choice Home warranty, they said it is fast appointment especially in Texas for air conditioning; however, the tech appointment keep delaying to the point that tenants put complaints to Fort Worth city. City has send inspectors to the house and issue an immediate issue fixes. Choice seems to find that an opportunity to delay all process such that the owner has to fix the problem prior to their approval from Choice. And Choice then use it as a reason not to reimburse to their clients. I find it as a scam. all of their agents, techs, and case managers are working super slowly to the point that you give up on the claim and find your own technician to fix your problems. In addition, the HVAC technicians they sent out maybe not having a lot of knowledge, techs are guessing the issues and temporary fix, then appointment again to try different way. Does everyone have time to keep sitting there waiting for them to keep trying and suffering with high heat, and we all have job to do! I am not sure if this is a delay tactic to save company money when it gets called for fixing the issue especially on HVAC system. I have business and buying long term plans with Choice, but now I feel that this may not be a good choice after all after dealing with them in many cases. I am not happy at all!!!! For small fixes, they do. but for big fixes, which we signed up for after all, they find the way to reject the claims
