They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

Well first off I don't like that you give me the survey before the person even comes out because of things just like this I was given an 11 to 3 window and the person didn't even show up till 3:30 they didn't call me tell me they're going to be late I had to call them and find out they were going to be late. A lot of the contractors that Choice units are three star sometimes only four star if you want to be a five-star company only use four and five star service providers I shouldn't spend my whole day and then not even get the courtesy of a call to let me know you're going to be late when I've been waiting for 4 hours. This is not directly choices fault but it is indirectly their choice to use subpar companies.

Choice Home Warranty has been extremely helpful and responsive to my repairs. Although, I am still learning how the process works with each repair, the results have been very good. There have been out of pocket expenses, however, the cost with the warranty coverage versus completely paying out of pocket appears to be reasonable and worthwhile. I especially love when I can request a vendor that is on the list who has performed work on an appliance that demonstrates excellent customer service and work. Learning the warranty process will take time to adjust to. The more claims that are submitted, you will be able to make your own assessment. So far my evaluation is very good. I thank everyone for their outstanding customer service, care, and support.

Our technicians at Elevate Heating and Air were awesome and Choice allowed me to have them come out the second time we were having issues with our HVAC system. We are waiting to see if Choice approves a way to fix our coolant leak that they found at the moment. Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon!

I am very happy with the services that I myself had received overall for my claim. The response from the technician was rapid; I mean next day! He did an excellent job and completed it utilizing what he had on hand, instead of having to wait for ordered parts. It was perfect. Choice has also seemed to have improved big-time. The Customer Service rep was very polite and helpful. My husband and I have had Choice for a couple of years, and since his passing, I can't thank this business enough for helping me through my own first-time customer and claim process. First…their pricing seemed reasonable. I’ve never bought a home warranty before so I talked to several companies. To date I have had to call twice for services on my washing machine. I was very satisfied with the last company that they chose, the owner of the company actually came with her assistant, and they did a wonderful job. The first company/service man that they sent, he was a little, put offish and not very responsive or friendly. But he got the job done, although he did bend the lid of my washing machine.

After CHW denied my claim to to replace my fridge, they gave me the opportunity to appeal their decision. I spoke with a Rep. to review and access the issue. She sent a second Tech out, which confirmed a replacement was need. CHW then said the claim was now honored and the replacement covered. I'm really not pleased with the replacement amount for a GE top of the line refidgerator ($818), that it took nearly 4 weeks to complete the process and not having a refridgerator for 4 weeks, and another possible 4 weeks to receiv e the reimbursement check ( 15 - 30 days). I did nothing wrong, just filed a claim and expected CHW to do their part.

What I like or dislike is very dependent on the service provided by the technicians who take the call. The last Service call was handled by Dalton of Yellow Springs Plumbing based out of Frederick, Maryland. All 10s across the board. Stellar. Beyond satisfied. Prior to this service call; all three members of my family who have individual CHOICE warranty contracts and had received basic satisfactory or unsatisfactory service from those service technicians, to the point we all conference call to see if we wanted to continue our individual property contracts. Until Dalton of Yellow Springs PLUMBING, the service received had been MEH…not good or bad…just okay.

Our garbage disposal had stopped working, We reset it and it ran for a short while and stopped again. We tried the reset with no success. I filed a claim with Choice Home Warranty and a repair service was assigned within hours and the appointment made. The service tech communicated concerning his time of arrival and when he arrived was very pleasant and went straight to address the issue with the disposal. Within a few minutes it was working as well as ever. We are well pleased!

A very good company that I chose signed up with you again for me. I was on the phone with the company for 4 hours in 3 days with Home Choice. I was pleased with the work but my tenant with 5 children was without hot water from Saturday to Friday before we could get it okayed snd thank goodness the company was willing to work hard to get hot water. Also they quit the warranty company because they haven’t been paid for other jobs but they helped me. I hope they get paid for my job. Also besides the 75.00 for my co pay You did not pay them the cost of the job and I had to pay 566.00 to get my work done. I thought with 4 houses with the company I would not have to pay that much more. You daid the labor was to much but the tank was in the garage over the washing machine. And had to have a second crew to help get it out and down. Then put back up.

I called and reported the problem, the diswasher wasn't working properly, sometimes would add water, sometimes not. It seemed to have a mind of its own. It took a few days for a Whirlpool rep to come out, but I was so grateful Choice had him come out. He was a special Whirlpool only gentleman...he knew his business and told me what the problem was in just a few minutes..He took it apart and put in back together as though he could do it in his sleep...He was so nice, very professional but also very congenial and professional. I’m very angry with choice home warranty. They increase my monthly price from $87-$102 so I called to cancel after they took my $102 in April. They sent me a text saying I was no longer covered for April. They gave me the runaround one lady hung up on me. They kept trying to get me to stay with CHOICE HOME Warranty. I said no and I still haven’t got a refund yet. they may advertise that being the best, but they lie to you do not use this company. I’m still waiting for a refund and have not received one if I paid for the month of April I should be covered through the entire month.

I chose to work with choice home warranty because our neighbor recommended them as our homes are about 13 years old now. A month later, the neighbor had a terrible experience with Choice Home Warranty and switched companies. On our first claim with a leak in the tub piping, Choice denied coverage because the pipes were not visible. They handle little rinky dink jobs like garbage disposals but nothing substantial, which was the main purpose of us buying this warranty.

Because on the face it has a great initial start. Customers service the app are great. But to only pay $15 for a tub spout when the one to replace with an identical one costs $56.00 is wrong policy said like for like. Then to have it take a week to install is too long. Then add the ac claim being fix just to go down a few days later and not even have it looked at for a week is unreal. I am over 60 sitting in 95 to 100 degree weather. My medications are melting it is so hot. I don’t believe there isn’t a vender to fix it sooner.

They do a reasonable job of quickly getting repair people to our home to fix whatever is broken. Occasionally, the first repair doesn’t work and they had to send someone else, but I did not have to pay an additional fee (which is now $100 a visit). Also, if something needs to be replaced, the amount they offer to replace it is ludicrous compared to the real replacement cost. Also, their monthly fee seems to go up way too often.

The repair technician has been here 3 times! It’s been almost a month and I still don’t have a working ice maker. He replaced the Icemaker, no ice! He came again and removed a bunch of panels and said it was a malfunctioning switch. He came back a week later, ignores the switch and replaces a part and says “you now had water” which was never a problem! Then he say Oh I forgot the ice maker was the problem. He said he would fix it on 5/6 and never showed up and now said he would come on 5/8! If he doesn’t fix it this time you will need to send me a technician who knows what he is doing!I’ll keep you updated

When I called Choice Home Warranty they were very nice and helpful to me . The Tech was very friendly and he always have a smile on his face . He kept me informed that he was running late and about what time he would be at my house. I liked that. I will recommend Choice Home Warranty to someone else. Keep up the good work. First claim on one of our properties was handled well, the technician was good. The second claim on another property was not good. The first technician did not want to come and did not return my messages. He said on the first and only call that he did not have my name on his list and that he had 108 customers ahead me. I called Choice and they changed technician to another company. This technician from " around the corner" was good He did repair the washer. It took 23 days to get it fixed. I think that was way too long. I think that maybe some of the repair companies used by Whirlpool may not b e reliable.

All services that I have reached out to Home #Warranty to address have offered wonderful service. I appreciate the fast response and everyone that they’ve sent out has been very professional. Its mostly easy when you find its covered to setup and appointment. Its all on line is a pro/ con. Elderly gave issues with getting a live person to help. I got a plan for my mother since she’s older and she struggles with getting services because she can’t easily call for services. But overall it helps me maintain our homes. One other minor issue is knowing what services are available to me. Services get dropped and added and it’s hard to know what’s covered on my plan. It would be nice since I signed a long-term contract that new services get added and or other services dropped offer in exchange. or an option to adjust plan it would be nice. Ultimately, it’s nice to be on a call and get some basic services without having to pay an expensive service fee and find out I have the wrong person for the issue.
