I see that Joseph Drain Cleaning responded stating that the job was completed. It wasn't. The plumber broke off the flushing handle on the toilet and it wasn't replaced. The work on the minor leak in the bathtub faucet caused and leak in my kitchen sealing that lasted 5 days and has done damage to the ceiling in numerous areas in addition it did damage to my wooden table from Paris and destroyed all my paperwork that was on the table and since I do the majority of work from home, loosing the paperwork was not good. The plumber said that the work he did on the tub faucet won't last and recommended replacing the faucet. I called the company several times and the owner didn't answer my calls or returned my calls. I don't want to deal with this company again as the damage done to y kitchen ceiling and the unfinished work to the plumbing is unacceptable. I am new to Choice Warranty and and hope that the contractors you send out are vetted and do a good and complete job. I now have called about having a painter come out to repair and paint my kitchen ceiling and am hoping for better results

I've been with CHW for over 7 years. What I love about them is the ease of opening a claim. They have a portal where I can enter my details and in most cases, I get a response within 24 to 48 hours. I rarely have to talk to anyone from the start to the close of the claim. If I have to reach someone, they are quick and responsive on the phone. I think Home warranties are a great idea. The problem is when you have to wait for extended periods of time to get parts are have things fixed. I put in a request for a dishwasher repair back on 3/16/25. The repairman came to the house on 3/24 only to tell us he had to order the part. After I called several times someone finally got back to me 4/7 and I finally got the repair 4/9. The excuse was they couldn't get the part from the manufacturer but that didn't excuse them from not communicating with me for 15 days. The repair man was courteous and professional. He completed the job when he arrived with the part on 4/9/25.

Overall Good I just have only one issue and would like to bring it up: Recently we did have one issue with the shower faucet leaked ; filed claim have plumbing co came .. I told him the shower catridge issue might need to replace .after technician dudvgssed with co and he worked with CHW then CHW tọc me I ll have to pay $800.00 to replace the main valve..I said No …. And asked to have second opinion but CHW didn’t …i then hire the local hàndy man plumber to purchased the shower catridge and replaced the old one …cost total $175.00!…..I never have any issue in the past til this time….is this the right practice??? Still waiting for them to repair my heat exchanger and Ac at my home. Even though the Ac company recommended to replace the furnace, due to labor cost and the parts being on back order for a un specified time. We have no heat upstairs for over a month. We also paid $ 75 and so far nothing has been done. We had them come out for a dryer repair and the tech didn’t even speak English so with in a couple days the dryer was still making noise and eventually broke again so had to pay another $75 for someone to come and fix it correctly. They have no quality control whatsoever over who takes the jobs and you can’t request a qualified company. Most customers service representatives can barely speak English and don’t understand what they’re doing when you explain to them what’s going on. We have had people show up x2 to do work that wasn’t requested by us do to them misunderstanding what issues we have had with our HVAC.

The service is primarily via Website, I prefer a more personal touch to do business. The website is unassuming and difficult to manage. There is no assistance or a person to call and ask questions. When a problem is reported, you require way too much information to submit for reimbursement with pictures. Way to difficult. Finally, the actual amount of reimbursement is never enough to cover the actual work order quote. usually less than 50% of the actual cost to conduct business. (no inflation adjustments). Multiple times the technicians have told me that their companies NO Longer work directly for insurance companies.

After numerous unsolicited calls from Choice Home Warranty offering me a "great deal", I have had enough. I have told 2 different supervisors in a span of 2 weeks about these calls and emails and was told that they would stop. YET, they haven't! I asked the same question: doesn't your computers talk to each other and let you know WHO IS ALREADY a customer? Why am I still getting these calls and emails? It's to the point that I am about to contact my family lawyer and file a harassment suit if this doesn't stop. I've had 2 occasions to use the home warranty. The first was a GREAT experience with the assigned contractor. The second was a total nightmare. 10 days to get a hose that could have been purchased at Home Depot or a local appliance supply store in El Cajon, CA. Anyway, one more call or email and I am done! Let's see what happens now!!!

Dryer has failed, broken heating element/wire almost every year. Yes, it would get fixed. Switched to Choice, now I can add to why it is best rated. Never had any service call, completely taken apart, with multiple tests. Thermostat and a faulty wiring was found. both were replaced along with a new heating element! Also fixed the door latches that at times popped open. Seems like new again!

Prompt quick response to my most recent claim. My icemaker broke on my refrigerator and repairs were completed within about a week only because they had to order a part.
