They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

Gave me a good rate. I'm not singling out Home Warranty but it would be good if they elucidate ahead of time disqualifying things like simple scratches on the outside of a water heater that do nothing to the function of the heater but deny a claim. They sent out a shady guy anyway because after draining it it worked fine. The other thing is maybe they should also tell homeowners what is considered annual maintenance in a PDF or something accessible so the homeowner knows exactly the expectation and are also not denied a claim. These things are not made clear ahead of time. Choice is not the only one who does it. They all do it. Better off saving the money for the home warranty and hiring people recommended locally. Probably won't be getting another one at this point.

The main problem was the long wait for getting service & Tech at my home to fix refrigerator/freezer after 2 contacts & loss of over $400 worth of food! But I realize that the process comes with delays! Thing is just like you must have running water - one must also have cool refrigeration & freezer!!!!! Thank you CHOICE!

I’ve renewed my choice warranty contract several times with multi year coverage and rate guarantees. I do recommend that rather than file a claim online that you phone the claims department to enter your claim. I had one instance where I entered the claim online and had the problem fixed. Turned out that that particular problem was not covered. All else very good with Choice.

First claim on one of our properties was handled well, the technician was good. The second claim on another property was not good. The first technician did not want to come and did not return my messages. He said on the first and only call that he did not have my name on his list and that he had 108 customers ahead me. I called Choice and they changed technician to another company. This technician from " around the corner" was good He did repair the washer. It took 23 days to get it fixed. I think that was way too long. I think that maybe some of the repair companies used by Whirlpool may not b e reliable.

All services that I have reached out to Home #Warranty to address have offered wonderful service. I appreciate the fast response and everyone that they’ve sent out has been very professional. Its mostly easy when you find its covered to setup and appointment. Its all on line is a pro/ con. Elderly gave issues with getting a live person to help. I got a plan for my mother since she’s older and she struggles with getting services because she can’t easily call for services. But overall it helps me maintain our homes. One other minor issue is knowing what services are available to me. Services get dropped and added and it’s hard to know what’s covered on my plan. It would be nice since I signed a long-term contract that new services get added and or other services dropped offer in exchange. or an option to adjust plan it would be nice. Ultimately, it’s nice to be on a call and get some basic services without having to pay an expensive service fee and find out I have the wrong person for the issue.

After carefully researching a number of plans and customer reviews, Choice stood out as offering a very competitive price and protection plan that met my needs. Recently I had my very first experience with Choice when our electric clothes dryer quit. This worked out fine but I still have trust issues with your company over my previous problem. The sales person promised everything to me but asked no questions about my needs and DID NOT tell me that you wouldn't cover 2 of the same items. In my case it was a stand-alone freezer because I also had a refrigerator with a freezer. I did not like the way I thought I bought something and then you changed the rules. I still would not feel right about recommending your company. But, with that said the people that repaired my dryer were wonderful.

I chose Choice Home Warranty because I live in a very rural area and I had another company that was happy to take my money but couldn't provide service providers when my air conditioning went out, the plumbing had an issue and my dryer stopped working. I ended up paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement. I haven't had to do that with Choice. I might have to wait a few days (which is why I bought a portable AC unit) and I can't use my preferred providers but I guess that's how it goes?

We bought the Choice Home warranty more than three years ago, we were pleasantly surprised when our furnace decided to stop putting out heat last winter, we called Choice. They had a local HAVC company give us a call, came out and gave us a good price for the replacement. They gave us their top amount which wound up being about half the cost. I didn't have much information on choosing a Home Warranty Company. Choice has limited companies in my area to work with. First company came and gave a quote for a new HVAC unit, out of pocket just over $4,200 out of pocket, In less then 12 hours Choice would not provide them with the equipment and were looking for a new company. New company came and gave another estimate. $6,700 out of pocket with Choice providing the equipment AND I had to appeal because for the second approval, they wanted work done that they didn't feel needed to be done with the first estimate. We had the second comapny do the work and were happy with the company, but for the frustration and an extra $2,500, we could have had the work done on our own for about the same. Everyone gives different answers for every question you have, service fee was $75 when I joined and never told of an increase, $100 now. Case Manager was the only one worth working with, but for the costs, We would have been better with a home warranty.

The original claims agents are very friendly and helpful. But in our latest claim, we had a unique plumbing issue that had to be upgraded to a claims specialist. While she was knowledgeable, she was also very cold in explaining why they would only pay for “builder’s grade” as per the contract. The original plumber got frustrated and pulled out.

I thought they would be different and pass on conversations to the people that needed to know when I called in and told them my phone was down for a week. Ii gave them my sister's phone number and that is all that got passed to whoever. I didn't hear about that I might have to pay 250.00 dollars until they had already took my 100.00. I f I had been told this they wouldn't have got my money. I am so angry and disappointed that I wasn't told, then they tell me to read my online info which I have none of and didn't receive anything about what it pays and don't pay. I was very unhappy with the reimbursement process for the leak behind wall issue. I submitted a claim for service. Choice's response - "We can dispatch a plumber in 4-days or 96 hours. Meaning allow water and ruin your property or belongings until our service provider arrives! Unsatisfactory in view as a water leak results in a flooded basement, etc. Suggest you change the way you do business by dispatching your service providers immediately or FULLY REIMBURSE THE CUSTOMER HIS/HER FUNDS FOR HAVING THE ISSUE RESOLVED. Why? Choice would have, most likely paid their service the provided the same amount of money. In a nutshell...piss poor service and customer care!

I previously had a policy with Choice. While I only required 1 service call it was completed on time. My new policy required. a technician to service my 16 years old Maytag washer. The call was promptly answered and it was declared that the machine parts that were required were no longer available. They sent a check for $625, but it took 1 month. This is never explained in the policy. It’s a very long time without a washer. Don’t understand why this payment could not be more speedy
