My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. We had plumbing/water issues in the shower. Before I called Choice Hoke Warranty (CHW), I called in a few other plumbers. I was hoping to save the $75 fee initially. They either didn't know how to fix this problem or were scamming me for massive payments that I felt were not nearly warranted. When I called CHW, they immediately dispatched the plumber from one the local vendors. What surprised me most was the fact that he immediately came in with all his equipment and diagnostics/cameras and immediately stared to diagnose the problem. The previous plumbers came in to look and assess, but didn't even bother to bring in their tools first. They were almost looking to first diagnose whether I would be willing to Pay their exorbitant rates. This vendor however (from Innovative Plumbing Everyday LLC) was amazing! Instead of trying to play me (scam me) like a fiddle - he immediately went to work and diagnose. Within an hour the entire job was done! No haggling, No negotiating, No BS. Furthermore, the technician's name was Ivan/Vanya. He was exceptionally professional and extremely capable. If I ever need to have a plumber on site again - I will beg CHW to only send me Ivan. I could not be happier with his work ethics and his ability to resolve the problem effectively - without any BS. Excellent choice of an amazing Vendor; contracted via CHW!!!

What I like about choice home warranty was the quick service that I got on the phone but in reality the service that I got from the technician was very lacking. The gentleman never showed up when he was supposed to and then he was late when he finally did show up and it's been a few months now and I still don't have the electric hook up to my stove or my kitchen or whatever else needs fixed. He was supposed to be here on December 30th and he said he called me but there's no record of him calling me so I have no idea what's up but I do like choice home warranty because they live up to their promises and I am very thankful that I got them I also do hope to see my technician very soon like he said he would be here.

I have been with Choice for more than 10 years and they always respond quickly when I have a problem with my appliances. I also get follow up quickly if the technicians sent did not fix the assigned item. I simply request that they send highly experienced people and not someone doing OJT. I have been satisfied with them keeping my appliances working . They also helped replaced a gas stove and dryer that had served their time. They are easy to work with I do appreciate my associationj with them.

I shopped and signed up for 6 years. I've used it once for an ice maker, (fine) I used it for a water heater, it took a while , but in the end, it worked out. My garage door spring broke after mty wife went out, locking in my truck which I need daily , (ON A SATURDAY). Your answer was they'll be out Wednesday. Couldn't wait I called a reputable company out of St. George, Utah, they weren't on your list, (well they should be). I talked to your rep in Florida she thought I'd be able to get reimbursement if I went to an outside company . It cost me $2,200.00 because I COULD NOT WAIT) YOU MUST BROADEN YOUR LIST OF SUBS. CHOICE WAS A BIG MISTAKE. When it rains it pours ,our heat went out this weekend, I called , you hooked me up with AB&E heating and plumbing after waiting the weekend with no heat. They came yesterday and are working on the repairs. I'm seeing now that there are uncovered costs totalling $450, for what ? Edgar is working on it . Customer service is great however the process to get the eCard to replace a much-needed appliance is way too extensive. Once the replacement value has been determined it should NOT take 25+ days to receive an online eCard. This cost the customers additional funds plus time wasted. We were without a washing machine for 39 days, 4 weeks for tech to come out, order parts, return to replace parts and then determine the parts replaced could not fix the washer. Had to utilize laundry mats! They are expensive and time consuming, not to mention NOT the most sanitized. The process should be reviewed for timely processing and delivery of the eCard . Frustrating but really appreciate the customer service representatives. They are most appreciative for our business and emphasize with the issue. Customer service gets a 5 star, process gets a 3!!!

The technician called and setup a time to visit to investigate my issue. CHW quick response for the technician to move forward with the repair. I paid my deductible and everything was all good. My experience with Choice Home Warrenty was excellent. They dispatch the service personnel within 24 hours after the claims is raised. Their approval is very fast and the repair will get completed within maximum of 4 to 5 days (if they have to order for parts). If possible, they complete the repair the same day during the first appointment. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

From our first experience with choice warranty we would highly recommend choice warranty. We got immediate response to our problem with our washer. The technician showed up in less than a week. He had to order a part which only took a few days for him to come back and finish the job. My first experience went well. I needed a new garbage disposal. The technician replaced it in less than 1 hour. On my second experience I was sent plumbers who didn’t own the tools to complete the job. The next plumber they scheduled for that job called the day before to cancel because he would not be paid by me. (He was rather rude on the phone. ) I had already paid the required fee to the first plumber. I then found my own plumber, who fixed my leaking whirlpool tub faucet. I did not use Choice, it had become too frustrating.

I've had Choice Home Warranty for a couple of years and used it a couple times. The first time took exorbitantly long for a technician to be assigned to a simple plumbing job (leaky faucet). Unfortunately, the technician also broke it worse. Regardless, after a bit of waiting for new parts, it was installed and works well. The second time was just over a month ago. I called about my stove not working properly. One burner was overheating and would not hold temp. A technician was assigned extremely quickly and came to look at the stove within a couple days. He diagnosed a faulty burner element and an infinite switch. Since the cost was going to be $500, Choice said they would replace the stove. However, this is where I feel I received better value at my prior warranty company. Choice offered me just under $400 to replace my electric stove, which would be in the form of a e-gift card from Lowe's. They stated they were offering me the fair replacement "wholesale price" value. However, they didn't take into consideration the type of stove I had, as well as the features such as oven cleaning and convection settings. The absolute cheapest electric stove at Lowe's was about $520...which was the old-style coil burner elements. I talked with a representative, who was extremely pleasant, and she was able to increase my gift card to $485. Still not great since a comparable stove to the one I owned was around $750-$800, but I said fine, that will work. Again, here is the main issue I have with their service. The final claim happened on Dec 5th...it took them 19 more days to send me an electronic gift card. As this was right before Christmas and I had company coming over for the holidays, I needed a working stove. So essentially, I had to purchase a stove to ensure I would get a pre-Christmas delivery, and now I have gift card (received on Dec 24th) to Lowe's I need to utilize. It really just doesn't make a ton of sense. The technician they hired was great, the customer service rep was nice enough, but taking almost 20 days to send me an email gift card is ridiculous, not even counting I can't buy a stove for wholesale prices. I'm not saying their a bad company, but my last home warranty company was much better.

Because it seemed to be well recommended. But we had an oven motherboard go bad, which meant they couldn’t repair it. We received a Lowe’s gift card for ~$900, but the replacement (same brand, size 27”, similar features) costs ~$3,200 at Lowe’s. So the replacement costs us ~$2,300! Or we get the much cheaper replacement, with few available alternatives to select from, instead. Neither solution is desirable and certainly wasn’t understood when we signed up. We even had a local appliance repair look at our ovens for maintenance and diagnostics before we signed up. So this really was an unexpected surprise. Sears Home Services would’ve fully replaced, based on our experience about 12 years ago (refrigerator). Choice offered absolutely no other options for us, not even a cash card that we could use at another retailer.

Signed up and had my heat, a/c replaced at NO cost to your company (I was ONE day before the 30 day after signing up). The after that, had to pay for the electrical box to be replaced, due to your company sent over a MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE company. Went ahead and paid the company that did the heat-a/c because it would have cost me more than 2x as much using a different company, the electrical company you guys sent to me. Made much more sense to stick with the 1st company.

Communication was extremely difficult. Your Auto system made notes regarding the fact that we did not want a particular plumbing company to come here. However, twice the appointments made were with the company. We said we would not allow here! Very frustrating not being able to speak to an actual person. They're easy to call. However, after that , not so much. I filed a claim. Got an appt without an issue. The technician was great! Unable to get the issue fixed as replacement parts for my kitchen aid fridge aren't available any more. So, the refrigerator runs without a problem! However, 818$ covers maybe 60% of a replacement. So. I called, again! Spoke with a wonderful guy. He would put a rush on a request to get the gift cards for Lowes to a check for 818$ Great, been almost 3 weeks. Nothing seems important to to this customer. I've paid for 4 hrs of service! Ill definitely be more picky when renewal comes around! Just waiting for the $!

Up until now,, as a warranty company and customer service reps have been responsive and efficient in addressing my claims and how they are processed. However, The company policy’s arbitrary 30 day wait time for reimbursement is outdated and unrealistic. If a customer is in need of appliance repair/ replacement they may not have that kind of upfront money on hand while the warranty company who’s te payment is already subjectively reduced . To add insult to injury to they then require customer to wait for 30 days without even a tentative date or courtesy of when reimbursement might be occur. I am a retired elderly customer who has always maintained current on payments or even in advance at the behest of the company, supposedly for my benefit. Guess what company is not attempting to do the same for me. This policy is wrong and needs to be reexamed. I had to use my limited savings and only hope I will be reimbursed with the subjective amount pre determined - not explained from or by the company.

I have never had any problems with you guys. Someone always comes out to the home with in a day and half. But I do recommend that San Antonio Plumbing not be used. Maybe I am wrong. Fired last warranty company as they had outrageous price increase. I do have an issue with Choice as contract calls for $100 co payment and service provider said nope. $103 is the amount with no prior disclosure of their convince fee add on. I paid the $103 as I want the problem fixed and am still waiting for part to come on. Told it may he as late as Tuesday, which is over a week since reporting and initial diagnosis.

Had an appointment within two days, included name and telephone number of plumber and date/time for the repair. I am a widow and bought a Choice Home Warranty. I don’t have specific dates, but CHW has helped me out more than a few times, Dishwasher repair, plumbing clogs. I have two new faucets, Thank you! My most recent is my furnace!!! YIKES!! My home warranty says it is covered… I have been able to age in place thanks to to this warranty. I will keep you posted on my broken furnace… I would recommend CHW to everyone I know!!!

I wasn't thinking straight about your rules when your service rep said he (I thinking you) wanted pay up front so I told him I'd give him half and only when the job was complete like the next day the other half. I should have told him to get it from you but I was only think about heat for my pet. I am only hoping you can see it in your heart to reimburse me if not the other, actually less than half $5004.00, then at least something to make me feel like a saved some money having Choice Policy. I notice Sam seems to be avoiding me since I paid him $200.00 extra dollars for a new humidifier. I sent Elizabeth Mollina a glowing review via email as your standard reporting method became too cumbersome getting involved with Google and passwords, 6 and even 4 didgit verifying codes before it would let my report using your system go to you. After spending over and hour trying to make it work I gave up and called Elizabeth to see if I could use email.

Many promises were made when I joined the Choice Home Warranty. They made me feel as though I would be treated fairly when in actuality they just wanted my money. I was convinced to join their company and it cost me $5,000+ which is suppose to cover me until 2027. I am sorry I extended myself for so long because the very first attempt I made to use them; I was denied. After that, everytime I use them, it cost me $85 and that's before any services were performed. It cost me over $200 for refrigerator repair and finally they sent me a voucher that wasn't even enough to cover the cost.
