My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Firstly I'd like to thank the company that returned to complete the job that was started July 3rd. Choice was not helpful at all. You guys paid no attention to the fact the job wasn't properly done. The company did. You guys told me I'd have to pay and additional 85.00$ .The company satisfied me. I'm wondering why I'm still allowing your company to go in my checking account. Your company needs to listen more to the customer. I'd love to hear from you!!

choice had an excellent service company come and take care of my garage door failure, not only was it fixed, it was replaced. The technician was very professional and worked hard to make sure the job was done correctly. I have been a customer for many years and without exception, things have been taken care of an a professional maner. The last issue was a dryer failure. Same service, same positive results. I have no complaints.

In general the service has been pretty good and the contractors have been competent. The issue that I have is that Choice won't approve replacing failed equipment with something similar. The recirculation pump had a timer but the only one approved to replace it was one without a timer. The only ceiling fan they would approve was builder grade so I ended up buying a better fan. The technician said they would refund me the $75 that Choice would approve. As yet, I have not received the refund. So basically it seems that if something needs to be replaced, Choice will only approve the cheapest option rather than replacing it with something similar to the original equipment.

After 20+ years with American Home Shield, I switched to CHOICE Home Warranty because it was half the monthly price and the reviews were great. Sooooo glad I did. Several repairs needed to be done with the air conditioner and each was approved and repaired in short order during a week of excessive heat warnings and 100+ temps. They were great!

Relative to the A/C repair the service was very prompt and satisfactory. The tech was friendly and found the problem right away and fixed it. However we are having trouble with the ceiling fan replacement. The tech has been here 3 times and has not brought the right replacement yet. The warranty says that items will be repaired or replaced with like kind items. My ceiling fans are 52 or 54 inch brass fans with light fixtures and downrods. My home has 10 foot ceilings and the guy showed up with a white 42 inch flush mount fan. That's not going to work.

In a recent claim, when I contacted Choice in regards to difficulty that I was having getting the technician that they sent to complete the work, rather than help me or help the technician resolve the issues with the manufacturer warranty, they instructed me to contact the technician myself. I had already been waiting for the technician to figure out how to order the part for a month and a half and decided to just contact someone else.

After making our first claim to have some one come fix our electric clothes dryer, it to a week for someone to come inspect it. After he found out want was wrong, it took a another week to get the part and have him come back to put it in. We were without our dryer for over 2 weeks.

Choice was fine in dealing with them, however the plumber they referred us to could not get appointments in a timely manner, and they didn't fix issue on first visit. They had to return and then installed a damaged faucet. The tech shut our water off at the street which wasn't necessary. They had to return a 3rd time to replace damaged part on faucet. They didn't turn our water back on all the way so we had no pressure. I had to have a person come out, at my expense to discover and fix water pressure. They wouldn't replace same faucet and offered a cheap fix. I had to pay them 100.00 to use same faucet we had. Not really a good experience.

Up to May this year I was with one of home choices competitors. In July, I actually had to call in my AC was inop and they had a technician out in 24 hours and they diagnosed the issue order parts and had it up and running in a week. Granted it was a long hot week waiting on parts, but simplistic in getti g everything competed.

I am so impressed with this company and their chosen contractors. I was hesitant to purchase a warranty but it has paid off already!. Filing claim is easy and response and approval fast. I recommend this company highly. The contractor Jonathan from Air Infinity did an excellent job installing my HVAC system and went above and beyond to help me with the whole process. He has genuine concern for his clients and desire to perform his best for them. Finding a young man with such ethic and devotion is refreshing and a blessing to his clients. I thank Choice Home Warranty for their ease and attention to excellent service. They are a blessing!

They are horrible! The 3 different issues we had took forever to resolve. The garage door opener took a month and we ended up paying for a new one ourselves as the tech said that it needed to be replaced not fixed that the CHW paid a small amount for. The non-working Air conditioning took over a month to resolve (with 90° -100° temps outside and close to 90° inside) - one diagnostic appointment, then two no-shows, then finally got fixed by another company. The bathroom exhaust fan that wasn’t working (a $370 unit with heat for a large bathroom) was replaced with a $21 fan (retail price). You can not talk to a live person, they ask you to leave a phone number for callback but they NEVER call back. The only communication is through messaging on their website. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Worst experience with any company I have ever dealt with in all my 84 years. Your company has made and missed 6 appointments. The 1 call where the service man Randy showed up and ordered the parts needed to make the repair on 08/19 to be shipped to my home arrived 09/04. Called 4 more times for an appointment again missed all of them. Today 09/11/24 my appointment between 9 and 12 AM was again MISSED ! No call no service. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET CHOICE TO HONOR YOUR CONTRACT? THIS IS BEYOND BAD I THINK IT IS CRIMINAL. I RATED CHOICE 1 STAR BECAUSE IF I GAVE YOU ZERO STARS YOU MAY THINK I MISSED THIS PART> CHOICE IS WORTH ZERO STARS.

What I like - They quickly schedule a local company to assess your problem. Oftentimes the repairs are done quickly if the problems are minor. What I don't like - They do NOT honor their contract. I needed a refrigerator replaced and they only offered me 900 to replace it. I eventually get them to up that amount to 1200 but that is still short of 3000 that is stated in their contract. I use CHW for coverage on two properties and they still shorted me. This company will repair the little things but look to stiff you on the bigger repairs. Ill be looking for a new company after this contract expires.

We have had a fiasco with trying to have our attic fan repaired. The representative for first company assigned called us 10 minutes before arrival to say his company does not work on attic fans. We went back to square 1 and had a new company assigned by Choice. Even tho we provided all specifications for the unit and what was needed, he came unprepared and said he has to come back. A week later, not having heard from him (Sam at Bsquare Electric), we called. He didn't remember being at our house and had done nothing to get the parts. He said he would get the parts and come on Monday morning - the morning of the buyers' walk thru of our home; we settle on Monday. On top of that, even tho the contract says attic fans are covered, no mention is made of the cap. So, in addition to paying our $75 service fee, we now have to pay an additional $70 for the parts. This is totally unacceptable.

Had my first claim at the end of June for my refrigerator. Claim process went well and contract was handled by Sears Home Warranty. Service call went well and it was determined that a new compressor was needed. After almost 2 months without a replacement part a new contractor was scheduled and and job completed within a week. I was also charged $37.50 for some service related work with the second contractor. Don’t understand what this is and is not stated in my contract. I was only supposedly only responsible for a $75 service charge which was paid with the first contractor. Overall this was the worst experience with a home warranty company that I have ever had

getting my appliance fixed happened quickly, but so far, not worth what I have paid into the company since I started over a year ago, and turned in an issue with my pool pump, ok they said they would get someone to come fix it or change out the pump, after a year I just went ahead and did it myself.... when I told Choice Home Warranty manager about this, all he could say was I was wrong, they always get what they promise done.... so as far as I am concerned, I spent the money to cover my pool but they didn't live up to their part.... so scoring a 5 would take alot of work on their part....

Sadly, when my washing machine could not be repaired, the company did not "replace it" as stated in their advertisement. It took approximately three weeks for this decision to happen. Four days after reporting the problem passed before a repair man came. He diagnosed the problem and ordered new parts, and almost 2 weeks passed before the repairman came back, only to find the motor was not working and it no longer was being manufactured.( during this time, I continued to call for updates and was "put off") . Finally, I was told the washer would not be replaced and I would either receive a gift card to Lowe's or a check would be sent to me---note that this would take 30 days. I was shocked and quite upset when the amount would not even cover the cost of a washer. When my garbage disposal broke and could not be repaired, it was replaced as stated in the advertisement, thus I was dismayed when the case manager would not explain why the amount decided would be approximately 60% of a new washer, not including the additional expense of delivery charges, new hoses charge, etc. I'm not sure if the company has a change of management, or has been purchased. In my opinion, it has not honored its claim of "if it cannot be fiixed, we will replace" . After speaking with many representatives, I was assigned a case manager and after much discussion, I was allotted half the price of a new machine. In addition to buying a new machine, I had to pay for delivery and new hoses, as well as, take away expense of removing the old machine.

We had a problem with our circuit breakers. We aid to have someone come out (Baltimore Wiring.). Within a week we were still having issues with the breaker tripping. I called Baltimore Wiring several times to let them know it wasn’t working. They would not answer or reply back to me. I called CHW several times to ask for assistance with our electrical system. I was told they would contact Baltimore Wiring. To this date I have not heard from either company. The least they could have done was reimburse us for the $85.0 0 since the work was never done completely resolved. We had to pay out of pocket because we didn’t have lights in our bedroom.

Bought a house during the winter and when summer hit the AC unit worked for a short time and then needed to be replaced. Choice sent someone out and agreed to replace the unit quickly. I didn't have high hopes going into this but my expectations were blown away. I really appreciate having gotten this warranty added in my closing. I'm beyond satisfied.

What I like about the company when you called.They helped you right away . You didn’t have to wait they took the information about the appliance ! I'm fairly new to Choice Home Warranty and recently I had the opportunity to make a claim for my clothes dryer. I filed the claim online very easily and they contacted me right away to confirm everything. Within a day I had an appointment with a technician. The repair person was fantastic! We've been with Choice for years and value the service. From minor water issues to a new AC, they've had us covered. It relieves some stress to be able to submit a claim 24/7 online and have someone assigned usually within 24 hours. They have never denied an item listed in our contract. Speaking to a person about a claim submitted is difficult, but usually not required.
