They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

I like the quick responsiveness of getting technicians on the scene and addressing the problem in a timely manner. The techs were great. I do not like that the insurance, in the case of our water heater in need of replacement, did not cover all charges connected with replacement. It was an extra $600.+ dollars to complete the job. And a rather large tip was more or less solicited on the payment app. And we waited 8 days for the job to be done.

I pay for a service every month that I might not use for years and when it’s something major they don’t want to pay for it to be fixed so the customer is paying out more money. For example my microwave went out and all they gave me was 249.00 on a 500.00 dollar microwave and I had to pay for the installer to replace. It ended up costing me out of pocket 600.00. Same with the hot water heater it cost me 700.00 out of my pocket. They lie and said it was for inspection but no one came and inspect. So where did my 700.00 dollars go if that was the case it was cheaper for me just to go to Lowe’s and buy one

I absolutely loved from start to finish the efficiency, time and the customer service I received from Door Posh. The technician’s name that was sent out was Mark. He called when he was about 30 minutes away and he arrived on time . Mark was very polite with great interaction skills!!! Not only that but he assessed all of his options while replacing and cleaning a few components. Mark repaired my problem after being here maybe 20 minutes. I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty and Door Posh! Thanks for a job well done 👍🏼

We had 2 service calls this week! The first was for the dryer and the technician was awesome! He was knowledgeable and kept in contact with us before his arrival. The second call was for the kitchen faucet. The tech was friendly and courteous. He did a great job! He was knowledgeable and took his time diagnosing the problem. He had to replace the faucet. I had a good experience with both Reps!

I signed up for warranty coverage for my appliances and have been a customer since April 2023. My first claim was that our washing machine made a high-pitched sound and did not spin the clothes dry. The first tech came out and left saying he needed to order and replace the entire drum. We didn't hear from him for a week. When I called Home Choice, they said they would leave a message for the tech. Two days later a large box arrived via UPS. Again, we didn't hear from anyone. Three weeks after I submitted the claim, I "fired" that tech, and Home Choice sent someone else. So, these are two $85 service calls that I had to pay for and I still had a broken washing machine. The second tech came out and said it would cost more to fix it than it's worth. Home Choice sent us a Lowes gift certificate for the prorated value of the washing machine. The second claim that I submitted was for our dishwasher making a horrible high-pitched noise. I did get a text the next day from a company that is based out of Des Moines, 3 hours away from us. In his text he wanted immediate payment of $85, and then asked for the model and serial number of the dishwasher. I texted him that information and he said that only one part causes a noise. Home Choice made an appointment for the repair that was 2 weeks after my initial claim filing date. The tech was a no-call, no-show. When I contacted Home Choice, they said they would send a message to the tech asking when he would be coming out. The tech texted me 2 days later saying that he makes the appointment, not Home Choice. After another week, I contacted Home Choice and they said that they would send a message to the tech. Four weeks after my initial claim, the tech said he would be in town the next day. The next day, we got a text stating that the window of time for him to show would be 6pm to 10pm. He showed up on our doorstep without a courtesy call saying that he was on his way in some number of minutes. He did bring the part and was complete with the repair after an hour. This experience with Home Choice and the subcontractors they hire is not worth the money or hassle. I'm canceling my contract and will use the money that I save to repair or buy replacement appliances or find a better Home Warranty company after checking the reviews.

Likes: Good system for inputting claims and getting a technician assigned. No brainer (cheap/low cost) claims are usually approved fairly quickly. Dislikes: Most technicians assigned are well below average in their area of expertise, this can be frustrating as fixes are poorly identified and even more poorly executed. Also, I had a nightmare experience with CHW this year. My thermostat went out and the first technician from CHW could not diagnose the issue with my HVAC. It took a 2nd technician to get the correct diagnosis (Failed Thermostat). He submitted the thermostat make/model/serical number. CHW did not respond. I had to call multiple times to get a response. So no after 2 weeks of not having heat, CHW tells me I need to get a letter from Lennox stating my smart thermostat is out of warranty. What is this insanity? I have the make/model/serial number, I provided the Lennox warranty (5 years), my was 8 years old. So then, I had to contact Lennox 5 times over a 10 day period to finally get someone to send a letter. So I give CHW what they ask for and the claim was immediately denied, stating that smart thermostats are not covered?!?!? CHW knew this was a smart thermostat from the get go, why make me go through 1 month with no heat (in November/December) to then deny the claim after I jump through all the hoops? Terrible process, terrible experience. I will not recommend CHW to anyone I know.

Choice is hit or miss on the vendors and customer service...at times they are wonderful and quick to send vendors out...other times it can be days before they assign a vendor or provide reimbursement option...my last reimbursement never was never received I didn't even call I was so tired of them at that time...I'm waiting on a e lowes gift card now...like time before they stated it could be up to 30 days

Have used them a few times. Appliance repair has been good. But the nickel and dime on the A/C repair was a joke. Compressor went bad because of the evaporator fan was operating substandard but running so you decided not to repair it. Which meant the new compressor wouldn't last. Living in a desert climate being without a/c is not intelligent. So I replaced the entire unit out of pocket. Then I had a shower value replaced because it wasn't allowing proper water flow. The plumber cross threaded the valve which caused it launch across the shower enclosure and flood the bathroom. When they came out to repair it they had to cut a hole in the wall to accomplish the repair. Getting the hole repaired took forever finally had to locate a wall repair person on my own. Then you dragged your feet reimbursing me. The last item you repaired was my ice maker in the refrigerator. That was excellent and the company was fantastic. So over all I give you a 40% satisfaction rating.

This last interaction was a 5 star , the technician came out quickly and completed the oven repair. The last interaction was not so good as the refridgerator was leaking and they could not locate a repair person. I had to disassemble and get the unit out of the house as it was damaging the hardwood floors. Since it was no longer serviceable they only would pay $150 of the replacement. I had no choice but to except it however it was not my fault they could not locate a repair person. They felt offering for me to find one was acceptable and then they would consider reimbursment all while leaking on my floor. So one good experience that was a 5 and one that was a 1 so I felt 3 is fair.

Choice has been amazing. In a 2 week span I had my oven and garbage disposal fixed. Both claims were taken care of within a day of my request. Then I had a plumbing leak. Choice sent out a great plumber who diagnosed the issue and solved my problem. As a first time home owner in a new state, choice has been nothing but amazing.

When the technician 2 weeks ago came he said the washing machine could not be fixed it needed to be replaced.I saw him take a picture of the model number and serial number. I had to call the claim department daily and send them the model and serial number again. They said they did not get the report, and the technician had to tell them how much it was going to cost to fix the washing machine, they then decided it had to be replace. Now it going to take up to 30 days for me to get a e gift card for Lowes, why so long, I will be without a washing machine for a month and half.

We had a Problem with our heating system and since C.H.W. customer serv. dept. is based outside of the U.S.A. they were un familiar with of States, Cities and Counties to find an appropriate repair Co. to provide us with service. Language accent was also a big barrier as I had to keep repeating myself as well as asking the C.H.W. Rep. to keep repeating what they were saying . After 5 days we had to call someone ourselves and then pay out of our pocket for the Service call ,Parts and Repairs. we chose C.H.W because we were tired of our old Home Ins Co. and their poor coverage and customer service This was the 1st time we have had to make a claim with C.H.W. I was Very Disappointed! We live in the state of Oregon and out of the 37 Repair Companies we called no one took C.H.W. Temperatures here get to below zero we had to use an alternate heat source from the time we submitted the claim and the time which the repairs were completed which drove our electric bill to twice the amount of a regular bill . I am not not Very Happy at this point with C.H.W. and C.H.W. needs to do a better job if they want our future business, We chose C.H.W. because of the Television and News Paper adds claiming they were better then anyone else on the market and or in the industry . Like I said I am not too happy so far!

I filed a claim on my Bosch dishwasher. They said it needed to be replaced. I want to Lowe’s as they suggested and the cheapest Bosch was $750 with a $200 install and $50 for parts when I called the choice service center. I was told to go get an insignia Open box item which is nowhere near the quality that I have now. And offered me $245 to replace it, which was a slap in the face. Very displeased with the service and the offer.

I would have rated a 5 before I filed a claim on November 11 for service to my furnace. The appointment for reviewing and determining the problem was November 26, fifteen days after my claim. I had to follow up to learn than Bonita Way ordered parts that would not be in until December 16. Now on December 17 I haven’t heard if the parts are in and have not been scheduled for service. I’m am very disappointed and concerned since it is winter here in western Pennsylvania and we need service.

Getting the runaround…company says they contacted repairman. Repairman says he wasn’t Paid for previous work so refuses to come. First filed 11/29 and was postponed twice. Technician was supposed to be here today. I arranged my day for him to be here now. The latest word is that she will try to reassign it to someone else, but that postpone it for another day or two. I have been without my garbage disposal since 29 November and Christmas is next week when I desperately need it. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with Choice warranty. I need a new disposal because that one was leaking and I’m sure it just needs to be replaced.

Technitian was completeunprofessional. Right at the start of work on my cloth washer, he asked for my help for moving washer then when water started draining on floor, he asked me for cleaning. The water odor was so bad not sure why I had to do it. Then he called his manager a couple of times doing video call showing the issue. He wanted confirmation from his manager what the issue could be and what to do next. They talked in a non-English language and I can't tell what they have talked. Why not English since we are in USA? Also, while asking on question on Choice Home warrany website, normally the response is from a Robot. I have been waiting for an approved checkand it is over a month now and it is not received yet.

Actually, I’m considering changing warranties again. I left to come to you because I had issues with them and not looking out for my best interest but their contracted providers. I had them come out twice for my garage door opener. I recently I had you guys come out. I was told that the only thing you approved to be fixed was one of the three issues.that needed repair. I had not been negligent in anyway, because the other warranty had come to take care of the other problems. I am not willing to be paying a substantial amount of money to not get the service I pay for. While you gave me a discount for having had been a previous customer to another warranty, it is of no use to me if insured items will not be fixed.

Well they came to look at my air conditioner, which they said , was in perfect condition. I keep it clean they said, my maintenance on it is kept up with the filters. I just don’t seem to understand the thermostat so he explained to me .About when I use my heat and my air correctly.So I was very satisfied and he was a fine gentleman. I don’t think having to wait up to 30 days for the money especially when u don’t have an appliance is unacceptable. That’s the only complaint I have about my issue so far.

We bought this new whole home warranty in August. Our home is only 6 years old so we didn't really expect to have a need to use it, but we are the type of people that take out extra warranties for all of our purchase so we thought why not protect our entire home. This included our inground pool pump. Wouldn't you know it, 45 days after purchasing the warranty our pool pump died. Choice approved the claim without any issues. We are so glad we went with Choice Home Warranty.

I was hesitant about using this company when I read reviews but I am sure glad I did. They sent a tech to check our air conditioner because it was losing Freon. That tech could not find the leak. We paid the $100 service fee as expected. The company then found another company that came and found the leak. Choice agreed to replace the air conditioner. Everyone responded quickly to our need. Do be careful to read the “fine print” on what is not covered. The AC and installation cost us over $2000 which was far less than an $8000 quote we had gotten from another company before remembering we were paying for this warranty service. We did have to check the website for communication. I had not known they contacted another company until they called. Their communication could improve. That is the only reason I give a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating.
