The refrigerator finally got fixed Saturday November 29th. I had to call four times to get answers when would they show. Had to order part and when I called they said part was in. Sunday November 30th a code showed up so I called them today to ask them what does that mean is it safe. Refrigerator is working just need answer. Will call Choice Warranty tomorrow to see if I can get answer. I understand it’s was during the holidays it took 21 days without a refrigerator. I couldn’t have Thanksgiving at my house but although I’m thankful to have family.

I like the idea of having a home warranty, and Choice Home Warranty is outstanding at taking my money every month, but a claim takes forever. I went a literal month without hot water and then decided to fix it myself. Submitted a claim for a dishwasher and still has not been fixed. The technicians for both claims make an appointment, then cancel, then set another one, and cancel. I realize that it is the companies that Choice Home Warranty chooses and not the actual warranty company, but they are the ones overall in charge. I pay monthly, and if I would have been in a year contract, I could not have dropped them and been stuck. I am waiting to get my dishwasher repaired, then see if I continue with Choice Home Warranty or not. Paying monthly, I have that choice.

We paid extra for our salt water pool system to be covered, our heater has always been well maintained but is over 20 years old - a plastic cap, which was old and now brittle, came off and they claimed they would not cover this as they said it was not normal wear and tear. It was absolutely wear and tear, and I had two pool technicians say so, including their own technician they sent over ! They said they didn't care how many technicians said that, they would not cover this. Then I said I paid over $3500 for this home warrantee plan and she snapped back you'd had more claims then that! NOT MY FAULT, and is that the reason they don't want to cover this claim, it certainly looks that way - we are taking this to arbitration. They are not covering the heater which is absolutely covered in our contract

I would give you five stars if the plumbing company you guys used was decent. Plumbers electricians and beyond came to my home and did an awful job. Left an open wall with a leaking pipe. I had to hire someone on my own to come correct what these plumbers did. you should really consider changing your contract with the plumbing company you have now. If you need more information, I will be happy to discuss with you.

I had our A/C unit replaced in 2020-21 time frame and every year after that we filed a claim due to the unit freezing. Choice took care of it each time. this year in July and now in October they say it's under manufacture warranty, when informed it was a leak in the coil now the refused my claim for repair, a twelve hundred dollar bill which I paid

UP TO NOW SERVICE AND REPAIR HAVE BEEN GREAT. WITH THAT SAID: I HAVE A DISHWASHER THAT THE REPAIR PART IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, SO REPLACEMENT WAS ISSUED IN THE FORM OF A GIFT CARD IN THE AMOUNT THAT WOULD COVER DELIVERY, INSTALL, REMOVEL OF UNIT, A BUCKET, SCRUB PAD,DISH SOAP. WON'T COVER EVEN 1/2 THE COST OF A REPLACEMENT UNIT. "REPAIR OR REPLACE" SHOULD MEAN IF CAN NOT REPAIR, REPLACE THE UNIT(THE EXISTING UNIT IS INSTALLED THUS INORDER TO REPLACE THE UNIT MUST BE REMOVED AND REPLACED INCLUDING INSTALL, DELIVERY AND REMOVAL SHOULD BE SEEN AS PART OF THE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE !!!

They were pretty good on some repairs and a huge nightmare on others. I do NOT care to use them again as they put me through at least 4 horrible experiences including my last teair. They scheduled me 2 weeks out and then did not show. Then the company had no ticket gor the tepair and Choice put me into forever review until they reported the repair as completed when no one ever showed up to do the repair while Im out of the country. I e had to pay a lot of money for a maid service to take my Airbnb laundry to a laundromat because my dryer was never repaired!!!! Who needs this kind of hassle. The year of hell they put me through for my shower controller lost me a months rent $3000 and a lost tenant and a yeat if hell while I was traveling the world. They never fixed it and I had to hire my own olumber to finally replace the faucet that one of their 7 plumbers they sent over 1+ year broke!!!! Who wants this in their life???? Not me!!!!

They are suitable for routine tasks, such as a plumbing leak. However, for expensive items like A/C work, they will avoid addressing the real issue of replacing the coils (which have a known leak) by simply recharging the freon and hoping the problem goes away. This has happened to us now four times (for $75 per visit).

Choice should do more research on the service providers they send to clients home. I had a person to come out fixed my AC and charged me fees since I used my credit card. I used 3 credit cards 12% fee. But yet I feel like the person I spoke to at Choice thought this situation was laughable due to I should done my own research.

The price was right and it seemed like the coverage was as well. The problem is their coverage does not cover the exact replacement costs of some items. To replace our defective ceiling fan, we had to pay extra to get an exact duplicate. We still have not received reimbursement for the part they do cover.

They were highly recommended to me. The person who recommended cancelled their contract, and I understand why. It takes much to long for them to find a contractor in Paducah. Contractors I spoke with, and paid out of my pocket say it’s b/c they don’t make good on their payments, they expect too much ip front work, and are difficult to work with. They offer reimbursrment, but contractors don’t want, or have time to send info to Choice Warranty and then have to come back to do my work. In a couple instances I just paid myself.

Washing machine repair in mid September did not work. Have called Choice 4 times since then to notify of the still existing problem and have had no response. I was told to call the technician, Jose from Tucson Appliance repair but no response. I am disabled and have had to have someone take me to the laundromat many times spending money that I don’t have. I filed a recent claim. When I pick the item I wanted to file a claim on. It asked what the problem was with the item. I picked from the dropbox the light of the refrigerator. Come to find out I paid a service fee for the guy to come check out the light in the refrigerator. and Choice denied the claim because it wasn’t a mechanical fix. But their excuse for denying the claim was stating that it didn’t show to be damage from wear and tear. They shouldn’t have had it in the drop menu of the appliance I had picked. Because then I wouldn’t of wasted my service fee and file a claim. they wanna argue when you talk to the case manager that is not in the policy to repair items that are not mechanical.

When I bought these policies (4 policies for 3 years), I was told that you had many repair people in our area. Everytime, it is either a long wait for you want me to find someone. I bought these policies because we don't want to find people and get whatever need to be fixed done as fast as possible. I have been told by service people that they don't like working with you and I can't wait to get an authorization because the repair people don't want to wait. If your company wasn't so hard to approve, it would be different. We have had Old Republic for years and they are great. They will approve and get people out fast and will replace if needed...not just give a gift card for less than the product is worth.

The repair for my dryer has not been completed. The service tech had to order the new motor. But he has not returned to install it. I got in touch with him but he said he was short handed and would get to me soon. So job is incomplete. On AC the claim was DENIED stating the blower/motor was not working because of unusual wear and tear. That is complete nonsense. Your company serviced the AC in Feb and nothing was found. Now I am told unusual wear and tear. No a happy customer.

Unfortunately my experience with this company has left many things to be desired. I had an appliance go out and they refused to fix it and instead cut me a check.. problem is the check for for 200 less than the cheapest model anywhere.. then install and extra parts for the new model were required (which i understand install isnt part of the warranty). I ended up paying 500$ out of pocket that I didn't have. No a happy customer with their policies and will be switching.

I liked that a tech came out and fixed my Air conditioner quickly. Then with my Refrigerator breaking down I am still waiting a month later for the tech to return with the apparatus yo fix the refrigerator. I was not informed on the timeline when someone will return with the piece to fix it a month later I am still waiting. I have to go out daily to eat. What’s up? when I buy Choice Home warranty, they said it is fast appointment especially in Texas for air conditioning; however, the tech appointment keep delaying to the point that tenants put complaints to Fort Worth city. City has send inspectors to the house and issue an immediate issue fixes. Choice seems to find that an opportunity to delay all process such that the owner has to fix the problem prior to their approval from Choice. And Choice then use it as a reason not to reimburse to their clients. I find it as a scam. all of their agents, techs, and case managers are working super slowly to the point that you give up on the claim and find your own technician to fix your problems. In addition, the HVAC technicians they sent out maybe not having a lot of knowledge, techs are guessing the issues and temporary fix, then appointment again to try different way. Does everyone have time to keep sitting there waiting for them to keep trying and suffering with high heat, and we all have job to do! I am not sure if this is a delay tactic to save company money when it gets called for fixing the issue especially on HVAC system. I have business and buying long term plans with Choice, but now I feel that this may not be a good choice after all after dealing with them in many cases. I am not happy at all!!!! For small fixes, they do. but for big fixes, which we signed up for after all, they find the way to reject the claims

I think the warranty it’s self is very nice to have and gave me peace of mind knowing i had a service to call if i had any issues, however the sales people calling to get you to renew your warranty are ridiculous. I fully understand wanted to get a sale and commission and whatever incentives they are getting from their company. But calling multiple times a day everyday for MONTHS before a policy expires is ridiculous. My finance and i would get multiple calls a day from different people all trying to get us to buy a different policy with different payment plans. They also email and text and send mail even after i told multiple sales people that we are not interested. we can’t afford to continue their services they kept calling. then i got an email saying they tried to charge a card on file for a month to month plan that we DID NOT sign up for. when i called to ask them why they are charging me i got an automated system saying they would call back..they finally call back and they person im talking to cant help me and says they will transfer me and she just sent me right back to their automated message.

The contractor assigned to me was very courteous and efficient when he came, but I have been trying to reach him for over a month, and he has yet to respond to my calls. He operates with one of those third-party numbers. That kind of service is unacceptable. I hope this is not standard for how you assign technicians to attend claims.

Started calling on Friday around 11 am. Took5 hrs and 8 calls to report and open a AC claim. I hired another company to troubleshoot my system before the long weekend. After that troubleshooting I paid him $99 and decided not to continue with his services. Called Choice around 5 PM and Got an automatic response with appointment for Monday 3-8 pm… On Monday an AC repairman called and said that I missed his appointment at 2 pm. Really? Wrong! I verified and my appointment WAS at 3-8 pm. Still, he showed up at 3:30 and found my system has a gas leak and needs refrigerant buy could not fix because he need authorization to perform the repairs. So, now he/we are awaiting authorization from Choice to repair or replace the system. I need my AC back functioning! Please, help!

My spouse and I are very disappointed with choice. They denied a claim for a leaking facet that became difficult to turn off or on advising that it was not normal wear. When we asked for the account to be closed as this was not the 1st denial they agreed to cover the cost of the repairs but advised because tge claim has been originally denied we'd need to pay the technician the fee for coming out again, so we were charged 3 fees due to the denial, 2 fees for the technician to come out and the technician charged a $55 trip fee to come out to do the repairs which he claimed he would not have charged if the claim had not been originally declined.

I put in a claim for my oven and the company you chose never showed up. I canceled the claim and I'm canceling my contract. I have been without an oven for over 2 weeks and have called a repair man to fix it. You replaced my water heater and the tech you sent was great. Not so with Titan Appliance. They informed me that I was out of their area. I initially was scheduled for 6/26. Then they changed it to 7/2. I called Titan and Sammi scheduled me for 6/29. The tech never showed up and I called around 2. He called me back and said he was sorry he hadn't called and there was no reason for him to come out. I have spoken to Sammi a number of times; she was very helpful at first. I received an email from Choice yesterday 7/1 advising me that Titan would be out on 6//29 between 11 & 3 on 6/29 between 11 and 3. I am very disappointed with this service and I want my contract cancelled. I have called Choice numerous times and always get a recording -I want to speak to someone.
