Founded in 2006, Endurance is a car warranty provider that offers a variety of options for consumers seeking vehicle protection plans. The company offers extended warranty protection for new cars and used vehicles under 10 years old with less than 150,000 odometer miles. Vehicles with high mileage are not eligible for Endurance protection plans. Although, Endurance may give some exceptions to those rules depending on the factors of the specific situation. Warranty Plans and Coverage

Endurance offers four different vehicle protection coverage options:

  • Select Premiere —Select Premiere is for higher mileage vehicles. The components of the car that the select premiere plan provides coverage for are; air conditioning, cooling system, drive axle, electrical components, engine, fuel, transfer case, transmission, and turbo/supercharger.
  • Secure — Secure plan is Endurance's most affordable plan. The components of the car that the secure plan provides coverage for are; drive axle, engine, transfer case, transmission, and turbo/supercharger.
  • Superior — The Superior plan offers the highest level of stated component coverage available. The sections of the car that the superior plan provides coverage for are; air conditioning, brakes, cooling system, drive axle, electrical components, engine, suspension, fuel, gaskets, steering, transfer case, transmission, and turbo/supercharge.
  • Supreme — The Supreme plan is very similar to the factory warranty that a new car comes with and will provide maximum protection for all of your vehicle's parts. The components of the car that this plan provides coverage for are; air conditioning, brakes, cooling system, drive axle, electrical components, engine, suspension, fuel, gaskets, steering, transfer case, transmission, and turbo/supercharger.

Each of these types of plans include certain exclusions so it is important to view an Endurance auto protection contract to better understand the terms of this auto warranty coverage and get the specific rate for each coverage option.

Warranty Cost

The monthly premium of a car warranty is determined by the age, mileage, and use of the vehicle. Because of the wide variety of different plans at Endurace, there is a wide range of options for almost every budget. The average cost of an Endurance car warranty is typically $350–$700 per year. However, the cost varies depending on the extended coverage desired and the condition of the car. Other Features

Each of Endurance's four extended car warranty plans also offer additional car assistance:

  • 24/7 roadside assistance
  • Towing to the nearest authorized facility (within 25 miles)
  • Lockout assistance
  • Battery start service
  • Emergency fuel delivery (owner must pay for the cost of the fuel)
  • Flat tire changes (with owner's own spare tire)
  • Car rental reimbursement
  • Trip interruption aid

During any 72-hour period, owners are entitled to one roadside assistance service covered under the policy.

Rental car reimbursement applies during the time that a vehicle is in the repair shop for repairs covered by an Endurance service plan. These rental car benefits are limited to a maximum of $30 per day for five days per occurrence. Assistance with rental car costs is a great-added feature to Endurance's vehicle service contracts.

Clients can receive trip interruption aid when a covered part or system causes a vehicle breakdown while the vehicle is more than 100 miles from home. With this assistance owners can be reimbursed up to $450 for costs incurred while the vehicle was not drivable and in the repair facility. Owners can receive a maximum of $150 per day for three days to offset costs incurred during a covered breakdown. Knowing that this is an added feature offers peace of mind.

Insured Plans

Endurance's extended auto warranty plans are 100 percent insured by some of the largest and most respected insurance companies in the nation. This benefits the consumers who buy a warranty from Endurance because it gives more peace of mind and the assurance that Endurance will be able to meet claims obligations on its extended car protection plans.

Member of the Vehicle Protection Agency

The Vehicle Protection Agency us a non-profit trade association that protects firms in the automotive service contract industry. They educate consumers on their rights, protect consumers, and make sure that the company is up-to-code and using the best business practices. This is an important resource for consumers so they can receive important information and voice their concerns. Endurance is not only a member of the Vehicle Protection Agency, but is a gold member which the company has earned over years of serving its customers honestly and in the best way possible. Not every car warranty company is a member of the Vehicle Protection Agency and even fewer are gold members.

Unfortunately, Endurance does not provide warranty coverage or protection from corrosion or rust to its customers. However, this is a fairly standard practice among extended warranty providers. Most do not cover the repair costs damage caused by normal wear and tear or damage resulting from failure to properly service and maintain the care for your vehicle.

Only the cancelling was difficult.. I said I had severe macular degeneration & could no longer drive. That should have been it, but the agent insisted I HAD TO listen to all the other options I could choose instead. He HAD TO do this!? Finally I asked if I could answer now. His answer was "not yet!". I was actually WAITING for HIM to finish , like a petulant child! My obligation was to call to cancel my contract NOT to help him keep HIS job.

Endurance performed diligently regarding processing my claim. There was some time attempting to receive my service records which was delayed by my previous service dealership not Endurance. Once records were received Endurance Expedited my repairs with my chosen dealership and I had my vehicle within a week. I have two other vehicle warranty service contracts and 3 of my family members joined Endurance because their reputation and my experience. I highly recommend Endurance for their kindness, diligence dedication, and commitment to servicing their customers. Job well done Endurance. We Thank You.

Endurance Extended Warranty Mt. Pleasant, SC

I researched for an extended warranty for my bride’s car. Endurance was highly rated so we went with them. The guy who called was great. Very friendly and informative and we discussed warranty’s for awhile. Ultimately we got an extended warranty. Today I called them (lots of companies make it hard to find their phone number. Not Endurance though. I called today and was greeted by Carmen, who was very polite and effective. She is a wonderful representative for Endurance and I now have even more confidence in the company as our Cascada reaches old age. I would recommend Endurance to anyone whose needs would be addressed by the many options that Endurance provides. So far, Very Good. If I were hiring for a position facing the public, Carmen would be at the top of that list. Sincerely, Marty.

Well having an older car and even when doing an inspection before buying the car, I was worried that this could cause excess costs. I decided the cost was worth it and agreed to the terms. No one pushed me into the warranty and I feel it was inclusive and had good coverage on the most important parts. Love the fact I could transfer it if I sell the car to my other SUV also. Unfortunately, I just had an issue and my BMW seemed to have stripped the gears in the rear differential. I was leaving a Green light got up to about 30 MPH and BOOM. Pulled over (you can get free towing) got the tow home. In the morning called and got local repair shops in my area from support. Very friendly and explained the process. Lots of shop choices which is great. Then I bring it to them and the shop deals with Endurance. Shop told me it was indeed the rear diff and the gears are gone (had 90K miles) I only had the car for 3 months tops. That is why you buy the warranty. You never know who drove the vehicle before and how they drove it. I baby my cars but not all people do. So I will follow up once I find out how the rest goes. So far so good.

My review is for amazing customer service from Earthel P. He never once made me feel like I was a burden on him. He listened to my many many questions and never got upset or short fused with me. He made feel as if I was a family member. And in today's hectic society, that is unheard of!! Not only was he very patient with me, he listened to my every concern and suggested a policy that worked for me. He should be applauded for this. He saved me money compared to other companies and I thank him for that. Truly a gentleman!!! Customer service is his passion and you feel that in talking with him. I bet some of you think that we are related. I guarantee we are not. When and if I ever use this policy, I will write an honest review. I HIGHLY reccomend Endurance Warranty. I haven't used them yet and let's hope I dont. Thank you Mr P. You've made a new customer very happy!!

Called up, got bad news. Called again to cancel, the the sweet voice of Ms Tabitha G came on the phone. Gave me the CORRECT information as the previous rep was lost with terminology, answered literally a DOZEN questions. I mean ANSWERED... None of this let me check or ask so n so... She KNEW the answers. I was calling to literally cancel my service, but she's the reason I'll be staying. BEST part, she sent me a detailed layout of my plan, then the REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE came into play, "If you ever have any questions, just email me back. Once I finish the call I'm on, I will call you back ..." She will be the main reason I stay.

Tamika was the best customer service representative I have ever had to help me in my life. She seen my frustration about an existing claim, and assured me that she would help me better understand why my claim proceeded the way it did. If it wasn’t for her care, understanding and patience, I would have cancelled my policy plan with endurance today. But because she cared enough to take the time out of her day to investigate the clauses and information, I remain a covered endurance customer. I called regarding a copy of my contract, I had the privilege to speak to Joniqua A, she made my experience very pleasurable by going above and beyond my expectations. I was a bit frustrated because I was advised that I would receive a copy via both email and postal during the enrollment process. Joniqua made sure I received my contact while I was connected with her, she made several attempts to send the email due to receiving an undeliverable message, she took the time to verify, confirm and correct my email address, confirmed the delivery before disconnecting the call. Joniqua is a great asset to Endurane, again Thank you for a awesome experience.

The representative was more than helpful. What I truly appreciate was the dedication in helping me. I had issue finding my information in regards to my policy and she was very diligent and patient with me. What was the most amazing part, her system had actually logged her out due to being over work hours, which I completely understand from experience with computer technology, she still took the time to make different attempts to recovering my information and helping me for my reasoning of calling. Representatives like thee young lady I interacted with was a pleasure, and an enlightenment. We need more representatives like this in today and future!!

Well for one thing you work with your customer because how you working with me and this time of crisis with the pandemic people all over the country hurting I'm sure I'm not the only one that you've helped out. And when the you help people out most people tend to remember that, and they all recommend you to other people because it's always better to have it by word of mouth than to read it on a board or in a letter that your mail to somebody but I've only had you for a few months. We received a telephone call from a man advising my husband that Endurance Policy for my Son's car was expiring. I checked the phone, found the number, called the man. I believed something was wrong, so I simply told him I would call Endurance. I did call and had the pleasure and good fortune of being assisted by MARY who us outstanding. I found her to be polite, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. I give thanks to her, and to Endurance for hiring quality employees such as Mary. She easily put my concerns to rest. Never, ever have I had a better experience talking to a CSR than I have had with Eric. He was friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. He actually knew the town I lived in. We talked about fishing, knife collecting and, oh yeah, business. We were on the phone for an hour and four minutes. He helped me with a financial issue and was was able solve the problem to our mutual satisfaction. This man needs to be in management because he needs to impart his ability to the newly hired. His CSR abilities come naturally but, so much can be taught. Too many people forget how to be human when they talk to their customers. I am so please with, not only Eric but, EVERYONE I have talked with at Endurance. Eric, though, was the absolute best. He made dealing with a company enjoyable a pleasant experience. I am so happy to have chosen Endurance instead of that other company (they were a nightmare). All in all, a great employee with a great company. Five stars plus.

KIARA WAS GREAT SHE TOOK OWNERSHIP OF ALL MY ISSUE'S . She was able not only to remain patient with me being somewhat irate no fought of hers ,she did not cut me off or over talk me and Kiara understood exactly the rare and confusing citation . Kiara has single handily restored some of my faith back in car warranty companies.. I would recommend if I may using her call as a training tool for others and even a go to for training in professionalism, active listening, basic and advanced problem solving skills, relating to the customer, practicing empathy with a sense of urgency and one call resolve. And last but not least, Kaira went over and beyond and even set expectations, to make sure I was fully informed and reminded me of some self service options. I’ve had a very good experience with Endurance. I purchased the policy back in the summer after my extended warranty expired (the one I purchased when I bought the car). A few months later my turbo blew and I needed a new tensioner pulley. The entire job was $1700. I only paid the $100 dollar deductible. Then a month after that I took my car in again and found out that it had a cracked piston. The engine had to be replaced (it was cheaper to replace than to rebuild). The warranty company covered $3500, and I had to pay $2600 out of pocket. It was still pretty phenomenal considering I’m getting a new engine, which is like getting a brand new car. I would highly recommend Endurance. They are a little slow to authorize repairs, and they are hard to get ahold of, but ultimately they live up to their name.

What started out to be a very unfavorable situation with my contract and pricing I was given... turned out to be acceptable, and Joe gets the credit for that... He was able to save me as a customer... and more importantly... prohibit very negative feedback from a customer that didnt cause the issue in the first place. It was nice to see a company make it right, when a mistake was made on price and product purchased!!! Kudos to Joe!!! I represent a company of thousands that will hear a favorable evaluation about your warranty company vs... a very negative review over a few hundred dollar mistake!

i was originally denied a claim, which i was really confused about. i bought the aftermarket warranty the day i bought my car. after only 16k miles in almost 3 years, the warranty companys mechanic said i needed a new transmission and the shop informed me that it would not be covered. of course i made it a priority to seek a solution. joe is the ONLY reason this review is getting a 10 out of 10. if not for him, id be writing a letter to my attorney brother instead of a review. joe took on my claim as if it were his own car. i own my own mototrcycle shop and deal with warranty companies all the time. if more employees assumed the role of the customer instead of the business accountant, we'd see more repeat clientele and less high fives for staff members saving the company's budget concerns. 10 stars for joe and the customer service he provided, and a profound 0 out of 10 stars for the claims department for being ignorant to a legitimate business man just looking for the service he paid for. its a shame when i read your mission statement and i see nothing in my experience that shows me this. thanks again joe. endurance, youre still stuck with me for a few more years and around 30k miles- lets make this our last hiccup.

It this point I have only used once but was well satisficed except with the place where I ended up taking my car! They wanted to charge me more time than what you allotted for the parts being put on and I think they were wasting time while I was there, which aggravated me that they wanted me to pay for their time that they wasted!

Endurance covered a claim we had due to a transmission issue on our 2015 Buick Enclave. They did a great job. Because of that great service, we extended our coverage with Endurance for addition years of service. The business that worked on our vehicle informed us that Endurance was very easy to work with and provided great service compared to other companies they have worked with.

Once I found the real Endurance insurance company, I was extremely happy. I signed up with a company I thought was the Endurance that I had before, but it wasn't. They were using the Endurance name. They did not honor my policy when I had an issue. The Endurance Insurance company honored every claim I had made. It wasn't many but yet and still the claims were honored. My kids are going to use them once their dar warranty runs out.

She even sent me a link Incase I have a breakdown to find a licensed mechanic in my travels & in my area on my policy! She has went above & beyond! I'm giving 5 stars for the customer service but the things that require repairs like oil cover gaskets and other minior repairs needs to be scrutinize people are paying a lot of money for these packages and not getting full repairs and getting rejected by the dealer is embarrassing you guys gotta stop being cheap pay the money you have for customers repairs its all a hoax when you get to the service center this company will not pay out unless it's a oil change ! Pay for more repairs endurance and stop being cheap!

Seems some issues on ownership of my vehicle. Sent vehicle title to them and sure it will resolved. Just wondering why they ask now when I have had previous vehicle service done without an issue and why when I signed up for their extended warranty they did not ask for proof of ownership. Been paying this extended warranty for awhile and have had no problem with warranty repairs. Now some glitch. I am sure this will be resolved. This company has always been good to my wife and I and would recommend them to anyone.

I rate Endurance an A+ because the customer service great, the follow up status was always precise. And most of all they took my claim very serious and handled it with professionalism at its best. It is by far the best extended warranty company. I would recommend Endurance to everyone that is looking for extended warranty. Thank you Endurance for a successful claim process

My dealership (Clark Nissan) highly recommended y’all as my dealership warranty was coming to an end! They stated that working with and associating with Endurance was the best way to go! They said Endurance is quick and efficient when filling claims and or requiring maintenance! That same day, I called, got a quote, and enrolled! Its great to know that if my truck needs anything done, Endurance will be there for me!

I will stay with Endurance forever and everywhere I go and everyone I talk to like at the gym at the car wash I always talk to them about Endurance. Really glad I went with Endurance. You never know if you will need a warranty plan and I usually stay away from them but bought a used car and decided it was best to get one. It ended up being one of the best decisions I made. I had to have some major work done that the policy covered and my out of pocket expenses were reasonable. I never had a problem with getting claims approved and overall, having this coverage has been well worth it's cost.

So far, so good. My compressor went out for my car air conditioner in March. I contacted my local Honda dealer and asked them to call Endurance to begin the repair process. Unfortunately, Honda gave me the run-around regarding the new part because it wasn't a Honda replacement part. Finally, we got the part delivered from Endurance and it was installed by the Honda service people. My plan going forward is to avoid Honda and use Tires Plus or some other repair shop instead. Thank you, Endurance! I look forward to a fruitful partnership over the next few years.

I highly recommend this extended warranty company to all. Raven was extremely helpful and explained all the details of the warranty and coverages to me. I was initially calling to cancel and she took the time to explain the benefits of having an extended warranty with Endurance. She even took the time to find a better warranty program for me. I am extremely grateful to her. If you are unsure of whether you should or should not get an extended warranty I would highly recommend speaking with a representative today.

There is nothing wrong with Endurance every one is wonderful make you feel like your talking to a family member that get you and understand what needs to be done for there customers and yes just like family your not always gonna get what you want I understand they have a business to run so we can never get upset because we can’t get what we need when we need it I don’t know no company that let’s you get original parts for your vehicle listen don’t take my word trying it out .

I liked the professional conversation I had with Tabitha G . She explained my contract with me in a professional way explaining why I would not be reimbursed . I knew it was a long shot was out of town five weeks ago and did not have my information for my contract. Had to replace my (plastic) oil pan $1100 later .Any way Tabitha Thank you for being pleasant and professional on the phone . Had my doubts about the insurance but now I fell completely comfortable. What I liked about my conversation today with Mr Troy is that this man went beyond to assist me . The one thing I liked about him is he was patience with me and explained everything I need to know as a coustome I have been to many companies and it was to me a rush sale. I truly recommend him because of his knowledge he didn’t rush me This man was amazing and got me just what I needed today all people should be like him I was very surprised to get treated like that. I have had an amazing experience so far with Endurance. There has been no problems with the dealership working with them and they solve my problems quickly whenever I call. I was very skeptical about them at first because I've heard that these types of warranty companies don't really pay out for real repairs, but my timing chain went out last fall and it was covered under my service warranty. my alternator went out on my vehicle yesterday and I found out that it is a cover repair as well. So far, endurance has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. I would highly recommend and Endurance!

This morning I called to get clarification on my warranty coverage for a used vehicle I purchased in September and purchased my Endurance warranty in November 2021. I was concerned that if any issues came up that they would be considered preexisting. I was told that as long as nothing was done before the 30 day and 1000 mile waiting period, that my warranty would in fact cover any repairs as long as I followed the required guidelines. This was awesome assistance and made me feel at ease.

I had a small issue on a transfer, it was taking a long time to resolve until a customer service agent named Tanya became involved. Let me just say this Tanya is great!! She is the definition of customer service, she took the time to research the issue went to the proper departments on her end and completely explained the issue and resolved it. Tanya is caring understanding and extremely thorough. Tanya is a very valuable asset and this company and should be recognized for her outstanding skills.

The customer service agent MS. Maiya W was really exceptional she not only helped me make a payment she fixed my autopay and sent me another copy of the contract. She explained some special features of the account that I was not aware of and she explained the "elite" club benefits that are not shown on any of the Endurance marketing material that I downloaded. This policy is so all-encompassing that I purchased it for my daughter. I have received excellent service and would highly recommend it to anyone on a budget with an older car. Cars that today are exceeding their original factory warranty have incredibly complicated and expensive repairs that can ruin a normal person's budget. One repair could possibly cost more than this entire policy. And since it is paid on an affordable monthly term you can remain comfortably within your budget.

Calling customer support can be such a different experience depending on where you are calling. Calling customer support at Endurance has been a consistent positive experience for me each time. I have either lucked out or they train their people very well. It’s hard to believe I could have lucked out each time throughout my years of their service.
