Panel caused a leak in my roof. Instead of 3-5 days to get a response to my claim, it took 12 days and only because I called to get an update after having escalating the case a week prior to no avail. My warranty expired (only 1 year apparently) and now I have to wait 1 to 2 weeks to get a quote to have someone remove the panels while the roofer does the necessary repairs. Still no resolution and no end in sight.

Call to speak with rep regarding my first bill as to why I received a bill only having the service for 4 bills and was advised you were told you would get a bill from sunnova and duke , however I was never told it would generate a bill a month in advance, your customer service representative definitely turned me off from your company for my first impression of your company

Awful. Got delayed numerous times (took about 6 months from the first date). Kept getting phone calls while I was working despite telling them to email me. 100s of emails that are impossible to keep track of what is important. The install team left a bunch of trash in our yard. My dog ate something they left and got sick and had to go to the vet.

Not a fan at all one of my controllers has been out for 3 months my electric bills are sky high because of this. I have called every week sometimes 2-3 ties a week trying to get them to come out and repair the controller I have 2 panels working out of 20 ..... When I call all I get is someone whos sitting home with kids in the back ground screaming. theu can't give me any info I'm so over this

I was told I was going to buy the solar system. I was tricked into signing a lease agreement. When I caught the word lease on the monthly bill I contacted sunnova. They tell me I signed the agreement. I did not. They tell me I cannot change the agreement to a buying option because the system is on. They lie to you. You will not get the money and discounts they promise. I put a complaint to the bbb, sunnova is not accredited anymore. I wonder why. They lied to over 500 people in Puerto Rico.

I have been trying to get a pay off quote but the amount I was sent is more than they quoted me last year. I responded to their email and no response. I call back and all they can do is email legal again to address the issue. No response from them and no one else to talk to. We need to get this paid off but they can’t even address the discrepancy and this is the LEGAL department!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They don’t really have any customer service. Just a bunch of foreign workers reading from a script. I’m being charged by Sunnova for solar, that doesn’t work and having to pay an electric bill. This is unacceptable. The worst part is I have contacted customer service over a dozen times, requested a manager and all I’m told is they can’t transfer my call so they will email their manager to call me back. After several months NO CALL BACK. Avoid using this company at all costs. They are non responsive to a problem THEY CAUSED.

After reading these reviews I am glad my experience with them went no further than the sales team. My husband was setting an appointment up with a sales rep. She never spoke to me at all. The day she was suppose to come I received an email from Sunnova with documents attached that were electronically signed with my name. The documents allowed Sunova to do a soft credit check on me. The sales person got my information from my husband then used it to do the check WITHOUT ever contacting me personally. COMPLETELY ILEGAL! Seems like we have spared ourselves a bunch more headaches.

Horrible customer service. There’s never a supervisor available. I been having issues with my solar system for the second time now. Their incompetence has damage my double wall oven and an inverter AC. I have a week now trying to get Sunnova to approve a tech to come check my system which is failing. Please don’t do business with this company. I am a disable veteran and this worsening my mental health condition.

Squirells have made a nest and hole underneath solar panel and are now running through the attic. Can't get the roof fixed and nest removed until panels are removed. Sunnova has forbidden me to have my contractor remove them and make proper repairs to my roof. Customer service is requesting that I pay them to install a critter guard as well as incurring costs for temporary removal. Still waiting for Sunnova to get back to me with removal quotes after two weeks.

To prove the point of their horrible customer service, I received a call the day following my bad review. From a man telling me that someone else would reach out to me and discuss my issues. That didn't happen. Now, 3 weeks later, I get a poorly written email with no name attached saying that they aren't going to do anything. My electric company still says there is an issue. My electric bills are still more than double what they were last year. There has been no resolution or attempted resolution. Do not contract with this company. You will regret it if you ever need assistance.

As of this day 12/2/2020 I haven't seen the saving yet. I'm now paying the solar bill plus another high bill with Duke energy. I either didn't get enough panels or my Duke usage was misquoted. Not happy with the transition. I talked to the sales person two months ago. She's been calling/emaling and or leaving mess. to whoever is in charge but as of now nothing has been done. I regret doing the change. Not recommending the co. to anyone until the problem gets fixed.

I reported a leak on my roof since October 14, 2020. It’s now Nov 28, 2020 and I have yet to get my roof checked. I only got a case number and work order assigned. I’m still getting the runaround. Their customer service is horrible. Definitely read the contract or else you’re stuck with a 25 year lease with horrible service and only arbitration, as a customer I have no other choice but get screwed in the process. Not worth it!!!

I signed up in October 2019. Waited to January 2020 for install where I was pressured to add panels. I still don't have solar power Sept 2020. There's been @50 wrong contract updates from them delaying my service. I can't recommend them.

the service we are getting is terrible the trinity solar salesman told me that our bill we be only $41.00 dollars a month from January to August our bills are $488.00 , $575.00, $673.00 this is a joke our bills have triple after they install this ripoff solar panels. we will not recommend trinity or sunnova solar to my worst enemy. both of this company do not give a straight answer do not solve your problem. we were told by PSE&G that this panel are not generating enough energy to of set our bills. people do your research before you do business with both is this company.

My solar bill is high. My electric bill is just as high as befor. I call they send power bills fir a year. Say oo ya you are good. B.s. i had 29 yes 29 panels. They took 2 panels off. They deny they did. Still say i have 29 panels. The customer service sucks. You cant get anybody to come service the product. Worst mistake of my life. I pay 180.+ and over 150+ per month in elect. No good. Wish i could get rid of this lame company. They dont ever help or ever try to help when you require information. Sunnova u suck

My solar panels have been operating since October 2018. . Everything was fine till my system stopped working on May 15,2020. It was determined the solar inverter was bad and was told it would take approximately 7 days to replace 4 weeks later Sunnova shows up for install only to find out they had the WRONG PART!!!! Well now here we are July 17 Sunnova says the parts are in BUT they can’t fix till July 30th . THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! And also Sunnova DOES NOT return phone calls and there is NEVER a supervisor available . Sunnova rates a 0

This is the worst Solar Company I have ever used. I have called 4 times now to schedule a repair and every time I am told that they promise someone will contact me to schedule an appointment, but no one has called for three weeks. Just asked to speak with a supervisor and again I got the run around. How can you stay in business when you do not take care of you customers. Would never use Sunnova again.

We got solar to help save money, like everyone else. It was put in last year. Our true up was $800.00 this year. Found out that our solar system wasn’t working!😳. We have been making monthly payments just to have panels on our roof that weren’t working. They will not compensate us in any way for their mistake. All we got was an I’m sorry. We also got holes in our kitchen ceiling from their nails.

Sunova pasted a Sunrun sticker on my inverter that states to call a Sunrun number for servive. I contacted the Sunrun number and was told that there was no contract to service my system. I called Sunova about it. The botyon line was if i needed service they Would contact me in a month ir mote to set up a service date! In addition they misrepresented the ammount of solar power the system can produce, it will not match my historical use and bottm line will never save on my overall electric bill. P My recommendation is to avoid this company.

I'm end very disappointed by trinity people took 3 1/2 months go get in end your system only puts out small of electric I use I'm using 2600 kWh a month your system can only supply maybe 750 kWh there was more room in front of my house. trinity bad design and sells man never told me time it takes to get on I hope I save money but way I see it it will cost me more?🤞think I got screwed we'll see?

Sunnova SUCKS! You can NOT monitor your solar system real-time! The customer service call center is in Belize, Oscar the center manager REFUSED to give me the corporate number for me to complain! I’m paying a lot of money for a solar power system that I DO NOT know if it is producing, because I can not monitor it in real time! All Oscar kept saying was that he was a customer service only! What can I say? My lease goes up every month yet electricity prices haven't risen by the same amount in Arizona. In winter, my bill is around $40 but with a lease of $150 it's just not worth the savings on the summer months. During summer sysem prduces 30% of my energy. Was promised WAY more thn that. I want out and the peace of mind of not having to pay ever increasing instalments for the next 19 years.

Sunnova has been ripping me off from day one. Their systems do not provide the adequate amount of kilowatts per month to power your home. You get billed both by Sunnova and your local carrier. If your considering solar for your home, run don’t walk run away from this company. They are crooks. Those of you who are suffering like me with Sunnova please contact me. Together we can make a difference.
