I was scheduled for an inverter replacement and giving a time between 8 AM and 11 AM on October 10 as my service date. The technician did not show up during that time but did come around 220 that afternoon after I was already .I was scheduled for a inverter replacement and giving a time between 8 AM and 11 AM on October 10 as my service date. The technician did not show up during that time but did come around 220 that afternoon after I was already gone. Now they are saying it is a closed ticket and they will not come out and replace the inverter.

Though I enjoy having solar to try and cut down on my Energy bill, it is stupid that even though I have solar panels during a power outage. I cannot use my power because you guys did not install a shut off between my house and the main power line. To prevent the panels from backfeeding energy into Potentially down wires. So now, even though hurricane Milton just went by, I'm stuck without power after buying solar panels, so I would have power even during a power outage.

Sunnova says we have gone live with solar, however the main unit is not functioning correctly, which is causing the electricity needed from solar to our home to be provided by the grid, which is costing me money, which was supposed to be provided by solar.

Terrible customer service !!! Do not use them if your roof is NOT new I’m 9 years in with them and need a new roof got a quote in May of $10,314.00 to remove and replace panels ….. wasn’t ready in May but am now 4 MONTHS later they gave me a new quote of $21,300.00. Yes, I can use a third party but will loss my warranty for everything if they cannot seal it properly!!!

The technicians did a great job changing the fuses in the battery. Previous failures required changing and rewiring failed solar panels. The failed solar panels were not covered under warranty.

Customer service is horrible I wouldn’t recommend this company to nobody.I waited quite a while for Nv energy to do the final inspection and change the meter and called the company that installed it (M+S electric)to see when they would activate it and they told me they’re waiting for paperwork from the energy company and it would be a day or 2 and it’s going on a week.I called Sunnova customer service and nothing they could do to get it activated.Thank god I got solar I can’t use,They sure promise the world when you sign up and then screw you after the fact.

Well i'm not disappointed with sonova that I know of but their installers left debris and trash all over My driveway, the guy that I started to talk to about the solar kept math.Messing me around with my bonus check. And come to find out today.I looked up on the roof and there was no pigeon netting installed around my solar panels like it was to B when we discuss putting it up. I am completely and utterly dissatisfied with the people they worked with and if I had a chance, I would remove the solar panels off my roof.

Sunnova is an incredibly frustrating company to deal with. A client of theirs gave them the wrong number to contact, my number. I received multiple texts and calls meant for their client. They would not delete my number from their account list even though I asked several times. Kept sending me texts and calling me on several occasions. They even sent me a link to review them since they STILL HAVE YET TO REMOVE ME FROM THEIR LIST. I hope their work makes up for an utter lack of care and attention to detail. Warranty service was requested by Generac was alleged completed but there was still a problem which left an ac non functional. Additional service to correct the problem was ordered for warranty and now the broken part will take another three weeks

I would like to say otherwise…I am unable to leave a zero…poor communication, highly disorganized, failed inspections for missing paperwork. I had no idea what was going on. Wasn’t advised of needing additional insurance…then the incorrect information was supplied by them to the insurance company. Sloppy workmanship…I had to clean up after the crew, and the list goes on and on… Sales guy was great however. That is the only thing they had going for them. No reflection on him. I do regret using them. EXTREMELY DISGUSTED, DISSATISFIED, AND DISAPPOINTED.

This was a mistake to get solar with this company. They underestimated my power usage and I'm still paying over 300 a month for electricity. Thanks a lot!!! On top of that they're making it MY responsibility to call the solar installers to put up more panels. I ask you, how is it my responsibility when your company did the survey????

Very dishonest, unprofessional company. We were lied too and they didn’t hold up their part of the contract. They were in a rush to put up the panels but never returned to cut down our trees which was part of the agreement. And keep procrastinating. It’s been two months and still nothing. The job was mediocre as well. Very poor job. Horrible experience.
