I was offered multiple checks as a promo of the amounts of over 500, a year plus later I haven’t received any check as a promo and the person that I did everything with named Kamil never responds to my messages I even informed my name was misspelled and he could care less, never responded. I was also told this was through Entergy and I am starting to think this was a lie because if I chose to cancel I am being charged a ridiculous amount of money. Company is non responsive and I believe it was sold to another company and I was never informed

I don't like the fact that I am paying so much money for my electricity. The salesman made it sound like the $147.16 would be the only payment I would have and the electricity would be paid from that. I am dealing with my husband having alzheimers and so I have to make all the decisions myself and your salesman took advantage of that. I am paying over $300,00 for my electricity. How does that save me money

I’ve had a panel in the roof top array that had been operating at 50% while the others produce full capacity since the system was installed and inspected by an electrical inspector. Now the. Entire system as of Aug 10 is not producing power. But yet I still have to pay the full $145 per month on top of what the electric company will charge. It has been nothing but dust ration from the beginning with Sunnova solar and would not recommend them period!

I have been sent emails in error about system termination due to failure of not paying when I am on their auto payment from the beginning as well as see payments being withdrawn from my bank. Also if I you ask for paperwork even if you pay for it they give you the run around and tell you they have not recieved payment even though you have verified that you have.

Was told by salesman my bill would be $59.27 from sunnova & that would cover electro usage. At times I might get a bill fro pse&how but it would be only $20 or so . Got a bill today for $136. From pse& g which now makes my electric bill 2x what it was. Tried calling sunnova & was cut off twice after holding for 20 minutes each time! So far this seems like a ripoff

Your service. I have two bad panels that I paid for and refuse to replace. you say you are only responsible for the amount of energy productionnot responsible. Then who the hell is? You say you're only responsible for the energy production and it's doing what it's supposed to do. I say then why do I have two extra panels that I paid for if that's the case.

Horrible customer service. Told me it would take 3 days. It took 4 months. Had to clean up after them when they left every time. They would call you on the day when they where coming out and they needed in the house. I would have to call off work to let them in the house. Now they will not do anything to help with that time off that was lost. I ask several times to talk to a manager. Still waiting for a call back after a month of the system up and running. Would not recommend them to anyone

Deceptive practice! I was told all we had to do was pay our regular bill and that it wouldnt cost us anything. Boy did the rep razzle and dazzle! So why did I get an email taking about my account is 120 past due and owe over $500? Then it continues to state if I default on the cost I owe $20k! Do not be fooled and read your agreement. Lesson learned the hard way smh

Tried to get some assistance from their Customer Service department. All the guy could do is read a pre-ordered phone script...each time. I eventually requested to speak with manager and even that was painful and frustrating.

Solar was installed a week after signing the contract it's now November 5th and it's not activated. I've called more than a dozen times, they send a repair 'technician' at least every 2 weeks with no help !!!! Don't do it !!!! Find someone else !!! Horrible customer service !!!

Sunnova is the most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with. After 3 months they still owe me a refund for $299.00. I have been promised that refund by several people including a supervisor but I have not received it to date. My list of complaints against Sunnova is extensive. I hope I never have to deal with them again.

Only 1 star because 0 is not available. Maverick D lied multiple times and none of the promised services have happened. There is NO savings in fact the opposite. He told me I would receive gift cards or even a Traeger grill if not only I write this review but also if I get enough people to sign up. They have specifically targeted me and my family. Another employee I spoke with said Maverick was terminated for doing this exact thing and being caught. Yet the company still angles to rob me and my of our hard earned money. NONE of the services we agreed upon with Maverick have happened. This is my second time trying to write a review because one of the questions is "were you offered something in return for a positive review " though the true is yes. If i answered it honestly a message popped up saying they won't submit my review because sunnova doesn't offer anything in return for reviews. Even more reason to avoid this company. They will only want reviews that make them look good. They don't want the truth because they know people would likely find an honest company instead to offer services.

we had out solar up and running end of Dec 2023 well come July to now we have had increasing FPL last one 379 and constant problem with the panels and they never honored that they said i would not get bills like that due to their faulty equipment so untop of my solar bill i have paid addition 200 to 379 FPL bill for the last 6 months and before I have 77 panels and we installed hurricane proof window and doors. It has been their equipmane and then the solar edge app it never now shows what solar is going to the FPL for net metering. I will never recomment them the don't care no calls and follow up last time the one invertor box was in sleep mode.

I’ve had a rather frustrating experience with Sunnova solar panels. They subcontract the installation company Freedom Forever, and unfortunately, Freedom Forever has made a few mistakes. They’ve installed the panels on the wrong side of the roof, despite the panels producing electricity as expected. When I reached out to Sunnova to express my concerns, they suggested I contact Freedom Forever. However, Freedom Forever then redirected me back to Sunnova, leaving me feeling stuck and uncertain about how to proceed. I’ve decided to seek legal advice to explore my options and find a resolution to this issue. Don’t go with Sunnova.

Well....I've had these panels installed since Dec 2019 and not only have I yet to see any savings on my electric bill but I don't even know if I am using the energy that is supposed to be stored for use during the evenings.

I'm paying much more than my pre-solar days. I've supplied my electric bills to my Sunnova rep in order to get an explanation as to why my electric bills aren't $0.00 as promised in the sales phase, but they are no longer responding to me. I've spoken to customer service who promised their manager would get back to me, but nobody has replied. They have my money and a signed contract, so they no longer care. Also, I've had two service calls within the first three months due to system issues. I've given up and accept that I've maid a poor financial decision going with solar with Sunnova.

I would never do this again, I’m so full of regret. There’s way too many people involved and no one knows anything. They didn’t know when people were coming or what needed to be done. This has been in the works for almost 6 months and I’m still not paying for anything. And no one can tell me when my payments are starting. It’s very stressful and overwhelming. Also, my PSEG bill was PEANUTS because I’m always working. I only pay over $60 3 months out of the year. Now I’m going to be paying double a month for the next 25 years.

Well I send an email and called my sales person the email never were answered the sales person was busy and should call me back when she have a moment been more than a week ! First after installation the system didn't pass inspection than they showed up in the morning not even call to tell me anything the inspector came again same morning he was upset because the repairs should be done before not in the same moment than I claimed to the attic and found they removed the insulation to run the wires and never put them back also when they installed the solar panels the 4 inches screws instead of go in the beams they just perforated the roof leaving a dangerous spot so now to move around got to becareful with my head ! I asked to the sales person about the edge of the panels because the guy replaced my gutters tell me they are to close to the edge when snow comes down off the panels they will take the gutters down or damage them ! I got an email from sunnova telling my system was canceled so now not sure what is going on with it also I asked how I know my system is working or production because isn't any meter on the electrical box I have my old system from Sunrun and the meter shows everything and is 10 years old so no body come and give me guidance about this no calls no nothing I answered the text message from them about the survey and didn't answer either! So what happens you get the system installed like crap and not even have the decency of call to schedule to review with a costumer! I tough this company will be better than Sunrun because of sales person but the way I see is the same garbage

My friend referred me and was told she and whom she refers will get rewarded (1k). That was a lie. I didn’t get anything because it wasn’t “offered” when I signed but I got an email for that month about the same reward. Installment was a mess, people drove in my yard despite having a long driveway open to use and side of the road. They were scheduled to come 8-9am, but showed up a little before 7am. Was told power would be off 6-8hrs so I took off work to accommodate and they never needed to turn it off. I wasted my annual time at work for no reason. The installment resulted in my year old roof leaking and it was extremely difficult getting any responses to help as I have water coming through. They tried to blame my roofing company, despite they just installing it and then having the problem (if my roofing company messed up, it would have leaked prior to this installation especially with the several storms we had with downpouring). Communication was poor and the manager Justin just ignores it. I feel like I made the worst decision of my life with this company.

They are rude. They are unwilling to help except to say that you are under contract. They are unwilling to compromise or let you speak to support personnel or a supervisor, saying they will call you back within 2-3 business days. They refuse to accept accountability for unresolved issues. They have no real concept of true communication siting that all issues are going to be resolved accordingly and then no one ever calls you back unless YOU call back several times and then they call but it will always come back to your error in communication or non communication with them. You are under contract is all they site on any and all issues.

I purchased ADDITIONAL solar panels AND a battery from Sunnova and once everything was connected, my PG&E bill SIGNIFICANTLY increased. I sent am email to Sunnova customer service AND the CEO (John Berger) and they basically told me there was nothing they can do for me. They haven't even tried to determine what the cause of the increase was in my PG&E bill. I have been trying to do my own research and present them with my findings. This is a horrible company that will say whatever they need to to get you to buy from them but will not offer any support for issues that arise after the installation in complete. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

The tech arrived without the netting again!!! He looked at the wall with the anchors showing and said he’s not skilled at repairing the damage. Why was he sent out? Why would your company assume that I have all this time to be at my home constantly for no work to be done! This has happened so many times! Your company is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with! I plan to inform as many people as I can of the countless complaints I have made to you regarding installation, customer service, repairs, bad employees, and the list goes on. You can clearly see that management is this issue with your company! Hopefully the more dissatisfied customers like me that make this public will help to correct all your faults and improve the company or shut it down!

You do not know how to size solar arrays, you sell through third parties who rip customers off, you do not review designs to appropriate standards with third party or internally, your customer service is pointless and does not answer emails because it is over seas and they do nothing but canned responses, and your sale support team especially Irene C does not answer customer questions for weeks and does not follow up, and your workflow to get permission to operate is completely broken. I lost weeks of money income from the panel not being operational, I was charged for the array before it was functional. I had to follow up many times over a period of 7 days to get my system enabled after receiving the permission to operate including going through your online support, emailing my supposed support rep Irene which was the worst support I have received in my life to turn the system on in which I had to do in the end because your company isn’t competent enough to schedule someone to do your contracted work. This is the worst experience I’ve had with any company ever. You should be ashamed of what you have built and how you treat people. You are actively scamming people and covering it up with terrible customer service. Even your own people do not buy your product. They have told me so.

Installation was fast. Took almost 2 months to turn on after it was installed. Company tried to blame the county but there were corrections that needed to take place regardless of the installers feelings about it. Scheduling was aweful. I was constantly “reminded” of appointments the day before when I was never involved in scheduling them in the first place. It took so long to get turned on, I was billed for a month of service without even generating anything. I regret working with this company at this time. My salesperson was great. But nothing panned out like it was supposed to. Now I have two full electric bills, a system that barely generates enough to cover itself and incentives I was promised are still missing.

The technician left without talking to me. I still can not get app to work with the inverter he installed. I called Sunova directly and was told by the customer service rep that “his job is not to talk to people who’s house he is in” when I asked to speak to a manager I was told no. I pushed further and he said “well I’ll make a note but they probably won’t call you back.” I called again, got a different customer service rep who let me speak to a manager who told me it would be over a week before he even knew what the technician did at my house. Horrible customer service, horrible company. Will never give business to them

This company is very unorganized. It was not my first choice as my installer selected this company to install my new inverter for my solar panels. I had a technician call me to let me know that he would be late but is still coming. But never showed up in the selected time frame. After calling customer service, I found out 10-15 mins after the technician called, that he cancelled and had my appointment moved to a later date. I was never contacted nor did I confirm the date and timeframe of the new service appointment. This caused a big inconvenience as I had to take another day off from work. I spoke with customer service to see if they could fit me in sooner because I had been 2 weeks without my solar panels working.The best they could do is put in a ticket. If I have the option to choose a different company for my repairs in the future, I would not chose this company.

The Sunnova installers damaged my clay tile roofs even though I gave them spares to patch back their damaged. It caused a leak in my house 8-years after install and $85K of damage. In addition, they wired the panels wrong. They had the panels installed in series instead of parallel, which made the system not effective. When I called customer service, they only guaranteed roof warranty of 1-year and the system warranty of 10-years as long as I don’t pay off my system. Unfortunately for me, I paid off the system to avoid paying their monthly charges. Their customer service was good to pick up the phone and answered my questions, but the company executed poorly to service or repair any damages their system created. I do not recommend Sunnova because they sub out their installation to people who are not qualified to work on solar or roofs.

Service took forever, sales people promised and said several things and did not follow through with anything, was promised 3 google devices for partnership with Home Depot and this was never delivered, was told I would have solar installed on both my detached garage and main house and this was incorrect, was told and shown by their specialist that the amount of solar I was getting would be sufficient to at least come close to breaking even with my electric bill, it has been almost 2 months of usage and even on an average day at 65 degrees and sunny, I don't even get 30% return on usage, the solar installation was also very difficult and cause multiple rescheduling event due to miscommunication at the office causing me to loose 2 days of PTO just for them to install on a weekend, and during the final inspection, their guys left everything open, from the attic, the panel left unscrewed and on the floor, to even the back door left wide open after they left. The SunNova Specialist also promised that I would be given an easily step by step guide on receiving any credits and Virginia rebates through their online system that does it all for you.... here we are months later and I haven't received anything more then my first bill! I feel lied too, over promised, and under delivered... would not recommend, if you want solar, just buy it yourself.

If I could give no stars a would Sunnova went in to our home while we were out of the country and had house sitters caring for our home. They forced a simulated power outage from the breaker box which broke 2 breakers, fried my stove and oven which are no longer functioning, and now outlets in 3 rooms of my home no longer work. They closed the work order, stating that everything is fine. I have called sunnova everyday for 2 weeks but they refuse to let me speak with any managers or people that can help. They are ghosting me and now I have to get a lawyer to get my house fixed. I am so upset and angry and just want the damage repaired.

Atrocious company! They basically are attempting to scam me! Contracted for solar, heat pump, and main electrical upgrade. They installed an AC, wrong SEER and manufacturer, and didn’t install a new main electrical, which I was told was necessary to pass inspection. My solar was installed, 12 months later than what I was told, and 15 months from contract signing (breach of contract). Sunnova refuses to complete my install but expects payment. I am unable to pay for services not received. Sunnova has literally attacked me, connected bank account to autopay without approval, reported me to credit bureaus, filed a UCC against my home, and trespassed on my property to shut the panels off. Try to call a manager, good luck, you have to leave your number and pray they call you back (if they do it’s usually a week after your original, if you miss them tough luck). Try to send legal documents representing yourself, good luck, they told me they won’t respond unless you have a lawyer. This company is absolutely horrible and they come from fraudulent backgrounds. Avoid at all costs. They cast large rain clouds over the solar industry.

Generac scheduled an appointment with Sunnova on our behalf because our solar panels and battery pack isn’t working again. I confirmed visit and stayed home all day and no one showed. I called Sunnova and they said their technicians arrived at my address and I wasn’t home and there were no solar panels at my location. No one called me that day. They had “closed our case”. I called Generac back the next day and Sunnova, yet to get a new appointment. 90k worth of regret here. Install was a nightmare and never had worked properly. Parts under warranty but can’t get serviced. Installer won’t answer calls. 2008 we had solar panels (Whilhite Energy) and they worked perfect, good service. Always worked. Steer clear of Sunnova

It took 7 months to resolve a service call. Sunnova failed miserably at communicating, had they asked the right questions, it would have been resolved on the first day. They needed fall protection gear to service my panels. They wrote up ticket as needing materials instead. When you call in to get the service call complete, the clowns that answer the phone can't connect you to the right people because they're waiting on materials. No amount of talking will get them past this miswritten condition. Successive crews come out with fall protection only to discover that it is incompatible with the roof. They leave, another crew comes out, discover their gear won't work. Rinse repeat. I suggest that they give me sufficient notice and I can have a bucket truck waiting. Nope, they show up unannounced. The final attempt, they finally are trying to resolve this with management, and while doing some idle talking, it's discovered that they didn't need to replace or check anything because the part they are checking is the updated part. They never took the time to talk and find out. I would jot recommend Sunnova.

This is one of the worst companies that I’ve dealt with in a long time. The sales person was nothing but a snake oil salesman. To deal with this company is a joke. I’ve reached out to them several times to have a panel installed that they did not install during the insulation, and it was nothing but a hassle to get them to do their job. They didn’t even believe me that one of the panels was not installed, to the point that I had to take photos of the missing panel and then emailed them in order for them to send an install crew back out to install the missing panel that should have been installed correctly the first time! I would not recommend this company at all to anyone. If I had to do it all again, I would not go with this company, or have solar installed on our house.

They are picking up generac contract work from the defunct and bankrupt pinkenergy/powehome solar. So I assume that makes me a low priority because they set up appointments without checking with me, then the workers show up. Pull into my driveway and without even getting out of the truck just turn around and leave. I call to get info and I'm told they needed to order parts, without actually looking at my system. I set up another appointment, no one shows up at all. I set up a 3rd appointment, they show up 5 hrs late, walk on my panels and don't really do anything. I turned down overtime 3 times to be there, losing hundreds of dollars in income, and still have unlabeled breakers and batteries are on the wrong circuits

Terrible experience with sunnova. I wasn’t going to leave a review but they kept pestering me to leave one. It took over 5 months to get everything fired up. They tell you 60-90 days, but that is a straight lie. My neighbors still don’t have their solar running and they are going on 8-10 months. The only way we were able to make progress was to call sunnova and xcel on a weekly basis. This continued every week until we final received PTO 5 months later. I would call xcel to see the status and they would tell me sonnova hadn’t paid a fee, or hadn’t submitted something. After I’d get a list of what xcel needed I’d call sunnova and they would give me the same answer “waiting on xcel” then I’d tell them exactly what xcel needed and like a miracle that next day or two days later xcel would have it. This was for a new build community where all the houses had the exact same solar system, so it should have been a pre planned quick application process. Long story short, sunnova’s customer support wasn’t friendly, their interconnection team dragged their feet, and they were terrible to work with. I would not recommend sunnova. We had to use sunnova because our new build already had a contract in place.

Worst customer care that I have ever experienced. They lied to me almost every step of the installation. They didn’t show up when that were supposed to, one person didn’t know what the other person was doing. They damaged my property l, promised to “take care of it”, the after the installation they told me they weren’t doing anything about the damages and I can “ do what you have to do”. Buyer beware with this company. The sales person Ross was a liar as well. Breaking his promises. I wish I have turned him away on day one. He kept stringing me along about the damages by saying “ I’ll take care of it, just trust me”. There are better companies out there, just look and get some personal referrals. Don’t listen to your noisy neighbor who is in the middle of the job and just wants the referral money.

This company hires independent contractors to do there sales ...sales lies to you and promise this and that ...after you sign your done can't change nothing ...this company then says sorry its not are sales team that promise you anything. ..my electric bill is higher now then before and i have not 1 but 2 payments to pay...i really wish i could go back in time because hell no i wouldn't go solar...why ? You don't save nothing...if you do this get everything in writing that your promised ....it should be against the law to con people telling them that they can save ...bull...just beware sales will con u ....and you wont get the savings you were promised...I'm going to sell my house now to get out of this deal and start fresh again without solar...

Worst experience with this solar company. The solar panels came mandatory in the purchasing contract with Lennar. It took almost 5 months to activate the system. I called like 100 times to this company, sent a lot of emails, and it seems Sunnova and New Customer Sunnova are 2 complete different companies, even though they are the same company, in the first one they said the house was still in construction, while in the other sometimes they answered, sometimes didn’t and have a different version. Sunnova is a NIGHTMARE of company!!!! Nobody knows anything there. I lost a lot of time with this people. Never recommend them!!!

Stop the scam. My name is David Beede from Bayamon PR. Sunnova came to my house and looked at my electricity bills and recommended a 4.4Kw system. They said it would save money. I signed the lease of $180.00 a month. It took 6 months before it was installed. They installed the monitoring apps so you can see what energy was being developed from the solar panels and how well Tesla's backup batteries were performing. I immediately noticed that the maximum power of the solar panels was 3.9KWs. I called the service manager and was told that what was in the contract is just an estimate, and I said that the system is working properly. Before installing the system, I paid on average $212.00 a month. After installing the system, I received a bill from my electric company for 79.45. That means I'm now paying around $260.00 a month. They said if you want to contest the issue, take it to our arbitration department in Texas. I live in Puerto Rico. I later found out that ConsumerAffairs.com program the Sunnova company had a 1-star rating of 97% and was rated as the worst. Consumer protection offices in Puerto Rico have been fighting Sunnova for years and couldn't help me. The contracts mean nothing to Sunnova. Warning! This is a scam!

This review is solely to advise the public of THIS TERRIBLE LEMON OF A COMPANY!!! Our experience with Suunova has been the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service experience my wife and I ever had. There was a leak in our roof caused by Sunnova's IMPROPER INSTALLATION of panels-- we tried to get someone from Sunnova to come by our house to take the panels off so we could repair the leak over and over and over for months, and it never happened until we found subcontractor contact information and coordinated the repair ourselves (out of pocket!!). Sunnova was more worried about not having any legal liabilities than actually servicing their customers. We simply wanted Sunnova to remove the solar panels above where the leak was so we could repair it, because the damages inside our home were adding up with each rainstorm. It is hugely disappointing that a company like this can continue to operate without any repercussions for its TERRIBLE customer service. Please be warned, DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO SUNNOVA!!! They have a 1.2 rating on Consumer Affairs. They have a TON of negative reviews and feedback on the web, even on their social media accounts where they delete negative feedback from dissatisfied customers . I don't know how they got the score they did on this site. Best Company, this is not a good reflection of your scoring system or legitimacy. The public needs to know how TERRIBLE of a company this is, and it's supposed to be your mission not to prop companies like this up. It's truly a shame. They're using your bloated score to advertise themselves on their website. Terrible business practice. Don't sink with this LEMON of a company.

I am VERY, VERY thrilled/DISSATISFIED with Sunnova; thrilled with the repair that was made to get our solar back up and running properly after three months of no service at all with even one of the panels working … and HORRIBLY dissatisfied WITH all the lies they told us, and the failures to keep their contract with us, and to treat us as human beings that have minds to think and know the difference between being ‘put-off’ and to know when a promise is not kept. Our story begins when we agreed to have solar panels installed on our house on July of 2021, and were told that we would be covered in the case of ANY problem that might arise with the functionality of the system. For a time, it appeared that we had made a wise decision, BUT that came to a screeching halt on May 27/2023. After fighting with Solar States for a year to install our solar batteries, we finally had them in our possession and now could experience what it means to be ‘almost’ off the grid. But, on May 27/2023 our system went dead. We were not aware of this because we were never introduced to the apps that would give us our solar production/usage and storage that we were told would be given to us after our panels were installed in 2021. Our knowledge of how well the system was working came by our electric provider on their website showing that information, and therefore after our batteries were installed, we had no idea that anything was wrong until we received a LARGE utility bill in the mail the next month. Immediately we began calling to find out just why the system had failed and who would come out to fix the problem. This is where our nightmare began, when we called to arrange for a technician to come ASAP before we lost to much ‘sun time,’ we were told that someone would be calling us to make an appointment right away……… but one week went by, then two went by and then three weeks had come and gone and NO ONE called us. So, we called again, but they told us that there was no record of us calling and that ASAP someone would call us ……. but again, NO ONE called, and another three weeks went by, AND NOW WE WERE BEGINNING TO LOSE OUR SUMMER SUN HOURS! But alas, we called again, and again they told us another lie that we had never called in the first place, but that someone would contact us to arrange a time for a tech to come to our house. By this time, we had made up our minds to start calling ever two days to make sure that a technician would in fact be coming to fix the problem. But each time we called it was the SAME story over and over and over again. So, we called our attorney and we wrote a complaint online which got someone’s attention. This is where the story takes a turn. My wife wrote to Solar States about the issue since they installed the batteries. A Solar States tech called us and we were lead through a series of scenarios that after three hours of investigation, we had come to a point of realizing that it must have been a ‘fuse’ issue, and so we replaced that fuse ……. WOHOOO, it worked, but now we were left with a VERY bad taste in our mouth, THAT WE HAD LOST THE WHOLE SUMMER BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD HELP US ……. AND ALL OVER A FUSE!!!!!!!!!!! I am VERY happy that a technician FINALLY came out and replaced a bad fuse box with a new one that has not failed us as of this writing, BUT now we are left with a VERY large bill that was not our fault, but was caused by Sunnova lying to us and refusing to send out a technician in A timely fashion, and to make matters worse, the technician told us that he was the ONLY tech for the WHOLE state of Pennsylvania! What?! The WHOLE state?! Are you kidding?! This failure on Sunnova’s part makes them liable for BREAKING their contract with their customers of NOT providing technical support for problems within their systems in a way that makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the parts of the system to function as they were designed to do. This put us in a place where we have lost over $3000.00 dollars for paying for parts that did not work, and paying our local electrical provider for electricity for the summer months and loosing solar-banking with our utility company for the upcoming winter months. Sunnova owes us for their failures and lies they told us, and for causing us to lose our WHOLE summer production ……. AND ALL OVER A LOUSY FUSE! But I am sure that as they have handled (to not do what was in their contract) this fuse issue, that they will be just as prompt and truthful and stand behind (of course ……. WAY BEHIND) their promise and product. I can say at this point, if you are reading this story, if you have not decided for a solar company to work with …….. FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD AND TRUE, DON’T USE SUNNOVA! I hope that Sunnova reads this, but I am all to aware that all they do is give pre-recorded, regurgitated pablum of their concern about your problem/s. I would hope of course that somehow good can come of this, but I have no dream of grandeur.

I always wanted solar panels. I was excited when my house came with them. I never expected to have an experience I can only equate to scam artists. I make appointments for servicing, they never show up. I call to ask what happened their customer service cannot speak to dispatchers or see anything in my account. Ive been waiting for over 2 months for them to investigate a hissing noise the panels are making, they've not shown up to the 4 appointments they gave me. I call to complain but all they'll do is make another appointment. My children are afraid to sleep at home now because they think the house will burn down at any time. I'm literally trying to get them to fix these panel so I can sell my house and never have to deal with this company again since I cannot afford to remove them. At one point of speaking to yet another supervisor I threatened legal action and he said "We get sued all the time, I'll give you legal's address." I feel like that speaks to how this company operates. They should be ashamed of themselves.

You asked for a review I’ll give you one. I’ve been trying to get your company to come out and repair my solar system since Early June. The first time your repair person went to the wrong address then told me that scheduling would call and set up a new appointment. Three weeks later I called and made a new appointment. I changed my schedule so I was available between 7am and 10am when no one showed up by 10:30 I called customer service and was told that I didn’t have an appointment until I told them the date , time and the name of the person I talked to. Then there story changed to they did not have the equipment to get on my metal roof. I asked if they installed solar panels on roofs and he said yes I asked how they got on the roofs. He said a ladder. I said you have ladders to get on roofs then why can’t you get on my roof to fix my system. He then hung up. Now last week a got an email wanting me to call to schedule an appointment for them to come and repair my system . When I called the man I talked to apologized for the problems I’ve had. He then ask me for some dates that I would be available I gave he about 5 or 6 dates he said that someone would contact me in a few days with the date that they would come. It’s been a week and the only thing I have received is two text messages asking me to rate there service. I had to put 1 star because 1. They won’t let me leave comments with out a rating. 2. They don’t have a negative star scale if they did it would be -10 stars.
