ION did a very good job from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly by our sales rep, Brian S. When I was unsure of whether we were getting a good deal, he encouraged me to get a competing quote. The competitor's price turned out to be almost exactly the same per kWh. However, they were suggesting we get many more panels than we really needed, and their communication wasn't nearly as good. Brian wanted us to feel good about our ultimate choice, and we did. Communication throughout the purchase, design, installation, and inspection phases was frequent via email, phone, and text. Now I probably have too much fun looking at my app to see how much power we are producing each day!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I normally don't entertain people coming to my house trying to sell a product. I will say I have always thought about getting Solar because it makes sense to me however I never knew what company to trust and from my past experience most sales people are scams. When Mr. Ryan H of Virginia Beach, VA came to my house in February 2022 I was ready to turn him away but he was so nice and professional I decided to hear him out. After the initial meeting I decided to have him come back the next day to give me more information on ION Solar. I am so glad I did, he was the most professional and friendly sales guy I have ever met. He came in set up his laptop and went over every detail any questions I had he answered. Unlike most sales people they are pushy and they have no idea what they are talking about they just want to sell you a product that they don't even believe in. He was so educated on ION Solar even I was impressed. That day I decided to get ION Solar thanks to Mr. H and I am so glad I did. With most people who sell a product after you purchase the product they are selling you never hear from them again. Mr. Ryan H stayed in touch with me through the entire process ensuring I was happy with ION Solar. I had no issues with install and or inspections the communication with the entire company was nothing sort then excellent and professional. I am writing this review today because I received my first power bill from Dominion tonight as where it is normally $200+ today it was a today of....... $1.71 yes ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY ONE CENTS. Now I did have a $5.55 credit from the month before so in reality my total bill is $7.26. AGAIN THANK YOU MR. RYAN H for helping me and my family invest in our home. YOUR AMAZING.

ION solar chose me😁 I am new to the Oregon area, but have had solar for the past 15 years at my previous residences. Have always been curious about solar here in Oregon because of weather patterns. Sat down with the ION representative York Hayes and discussed options for my house and exposure. Spoke with neighbors who have solar and decided that it would be a benefit to me and a benefit to our energy system. They have been nothing but professional, and have walked me through every step, and kept me informed on every single step of the way to getting my system activated. Actually impressed because it has taken a lot less time than my previous experiences.

Initially, the sales representative explained the system well—he outlined my potential savings, the number of panels, and even mentioned a tax refund that would keep my payments steady. However, the refund didn’t match what I was told, and my monthly payment jumped from $187 to $270. That was really disappointing. On the plus side, the system itself is performing amazingly—my energy savings are noticeable, and once installed, it works great. The installation took longer due to permitting issues, but overall, the system is solid. Just be cautious with the financial expectations.”

I was really impressed by their professionalism and how they handled all the permitting processes and all the way through installation. It was quite seamless. I would give a 5 if I would have been told I couldn’t ever go off the grid (if I was told that I don’t recall it). But apparently that is something PG&E just doesn’t allow. I can buy a “house size” battery, but that is quite expensive, my 1,054 sq ft was estimated at $21k. WAY out of my price range! Other than that I was very satisfied with the whole process from beginning to end. I would recommend, ION Solar, and have!

First of all, I have 7 years of experience on designing and manufacturing photovoltaics aka solar panels. I choose ION solar because I knew they were being truthful and honest as opposed to telling me just what I want to hear. I haven't had any issues at all since the install which was late 2020, early 2021. My only regret was and still is, not getting more panels. When ION solar first visit my home, I was only 2½ months in on being a home owner. With that said, it was estimated that I needed 12 panels you cover all expenses from my power company. Being that I only being in the house for 2 months, the estimated amount of panels needed for my home was off. I actually needed more. My ION salesperson warned me that this estimate could be off because there just wasn't enough months of living in my home to give an accurate estimate. This is my only and biggest regret. Since get ION solar I have experience power bills a fraction of the price they would have been if I had no solar at all.

Easy process, low pressure sales pitches, and pure honesty from ION. I have been happily a solar user through them, and will 100% be using them again in future homes in the Las Vegas area. P.S. I'm thinking a few other installers have changed to this method, but ION is the best when it comes to the exterior esthetics, by which I mean the electrical conduit is tucked and routed so as not to look like an eye sore, the way other installers cheaply build out a home solar array.

I made sure of that as I'm a single mom on a very fixed budget. After fifteen months, my payment went from $77 to $110.

We loved just about everything with Ion Solar. They were always pretty responsive and quick to resolve any issues or answer any questions. They people we talked to had great customer service skills and were super kind They were able to schedule a removal and a replacement within two weeks after eventually getting ahold of the scheduling department. The solar panels are on and look great, they did it in two days, which was also amazing. The only reason I chose four stars is because on day two when they called to say, they were on their way. I let them know they had left some brackets on the back part of our roof. They reassured me they would do a walk of both the roof and the grounds to be sure nothing was left behind. I wasn’t home when they finished and sure enough they left several items of trash, including a monster can in our back yard and the brackets are still on the roof where they dropped them. I would definitely work with Ion again, but I just feel an honest review is best policy,

ION solar was great from beginning to end. They took care of every detail! All the paperwork, inspections and documentation was handled by them. Also, they were very communicative throughout the entire process. They would send me text updates and emails telling me what was happening and what all the next steps were and if I had any questions, they answered my phone call immediatly! Very great group to work with and all the guys that came to my house throughout the process were so kind and very helpful! Devon, one of their electricians even helped me screw in a lag bolt by the roof so I can do Christmas lights next year! I can't reach my roof and since he was up there, he obliged! As a single mom, I was very grateful for the help from Devon, Megan and all that were involved. They made the process very easy and seamless!

We were excited to learn the process for installing solar panels no longer required homeowners to front the cost. Everyone from the initial solicitor, Aiden to the sales rep, Seth, to the team that followed up and took care of the entire process of getting permits and such were amazing! They communicated every step of the way. Once everything was approved, the install of the actual panels happened quickly. But, the process of having them hooked up electrically and actually turned on (which has yet to happen) was arduous and very frustrating. They cancelled the appointment three times!! The first because the electrician didn’t have the right equipment, and the second two due to unsafe working conditions because of the snow. However, they kept asking to schedule the appointment despite the snow still being present. When the electrician finally did come, he was wonderful, but we were very unpleasantly surprised to learn of the size and required placement of the equipment. We were originally told a box would be put next to our existing exterior electrical equipment. Once on site, we were told that wouldn’t meet regulations and the only option was to put it on our brick chimney. It’s a terrible eye sore - one we weren’t prepared to have. Alas, we are looking forward to start saving on our electric bill now and even more so in the future as costs will only rise from the power companies.

Ion Solar developed our solar system and installed it in 2020. The installation was flawless. Ion worked with us to make sure the system met our needs. They helped us with financing, used an app to keep us informed of installation schedule, responded quickly to questions, worked around our schedule, arrived at the agreed upon installation time and quickly installed the system. Everyone was courteous and professional. The system has worked beautifully for the past 5 years. This year (2025) we had to repair a section of our roof and requested that Ion temporarily remove two panels while the roofer completed their repair. Ion worked closely with the roofer, removed the panels and then reinstalled them when the work was completed. Again, the Ion team was on-time, professional and courteous. Their price for the work was very reasonable. Ion made the whole process simple. I have been very happy with Ion Solar. Their attention to detail and professionalism counts not just during the installation but afterwards when you need their help with some issue that relates to the solar panel system.
