Even though there were some misunderstandings between the salesperson and myself, everything turned out great. Make sure everything you discuss is on the contract. In my case, it was the critter guard. ION Solar worked hard to make it right. Perfect timing for me to get them working, my last month's bill was cut in half even with family visiting and the blazing Texas heat.

Ion solar is absolutely premium. I could not be happier with their level of service and professionalism. They took care of everything and kept me in the loop the whole time. My project manager Adam really went above and beyond to help me out. Even when I screwed up with my HOA he jumped in and got things all straightened out. The installation was a breeze. The techs that did the installation arrived on time and were very courteous and accommodating. They left in the house and yard in perfect condition.

It took a little under 2 months between getting my initial quotes to having my system turned on. I had some issues with communication early on when they changed my project manager a couple times, but other than that it went smoothly. Lorrente M (my project manager) did a great job and was prompt about keeping me up to date and answering my questions. Mike M was very helpful in getting the system design I wanted and setting everything up initially. I'm happy with my overall experience.

I partnered with the ION family. In every step of the process I had a resource to turn to when I had questions. Eddie took time to call me and explain the electrical interconnections and the flow of power from the array into the home. My concerns over construction details were addressed promptly from Doug. My personnel Project coordinator Jeff saw to every issue I saw promptly. I like most first time buyers are also last time buyers in that we only do solar once in our life time. My experience was exceptional.

There was no pressure to purchase and our Sales Rep, Jason D , was personable and very thorough in explaining the system and going over the benefits it would give us. He also followed up with us on the install and scheduling. The installation crew were so professional and amazingly quick. Prior to signing on with Ion Solar I had 2 other solar companies come to my home and try to gain my business. Ion Solar was the third. I liked the professionalism the gentlemen showed and of course how knowledgeable they were of their product. Tom D is the guy to ask for if you want your solar panel project in your house. He will be with you every step of the way and will always have your back. I ask him for everything and always have an answer. He explained the whole process to us and made it very simple to understand. Our project manager was equally awesome as Tom, they did all the leg work for us, and nothing up front. Great to work with and honest people. The team that came and installed my panels finished in one day. Very respectful, courteous and professional. Highly recommend this to anyone

Rowley made sure I understood the step by step process & understood the new terminology I was learning. I received my 1st electric bill 12/7/18 after one month of being on line with Ion Solar. I had a 53.00 credit! That made my day! One less bill to pay! I have not had any problems with my new system, I don't notice a difference in power service.

The energy adviser Justin G presented ION solar to us and my wife and I thought that it would be a good choice to go Solar. So we sign up with Justin who said that it would take awhile for everything the fall into place. It seemed like a long while before anything was happening then we heard from Micheal R our Project manger. He keep us informed as to what was happening next. This is very important, keeping us imformed makes it feel like you haven't beeen forgotten. The people that installed the unit were very quick and professional.

I've been very pleased with ION. They installed my system in Feb of 2018 and I have been enjoying no power bill for a few months now. The only thing I pay my power company is the connection fee which is a flat fee I guess each month no matter what. My interactions with every employee was overall good. There was some miscommunication with the installers showing up earlier than expected, but when they give you a window of time to show up, you generally dont expect them to be right on time! I would recommend ION to my friends and family.

I have had many solar companies come by my home. I spoke to a couple of them but did not like what they offered, so I quit talking to them. After about a month ION showed up at my door. I decided to listen one more time. I was amazed by what they had to offer. ION has been great. They have great customer service and I would highly recommend them.

Once clered by the local utility, ION had our system installed and ready to produce power in something like 3 days. Their installation was professional, and very clean and neat. We had occassion to contact customer service shortly after "going live". There was a representative at our home the very next day. As it turns out, I was the problem! Great service!!!!!!

ION was a life saver. I looked at 7 different companies and couldn't make a decision because nobody really stood out as a better company. I saw an ION truck in my neighborhood and reached out to them to see what they offered. Their pricing was better than most of the companies I contacted and their products were the best available so they led the pack regarding the products they offered but their service was so much better and to me, that's one of the most important things. I'm happy I purchased from ION and I am super happy with my system.

We knew when we moved to Las Vegas that it'd be an ideal location to have solar installed on our home. That said, we didn't know much about it and were a bit intimidated at the thought of having to shop around. When ION showed up at our door we were eager to learn how they could help us but didn't want to commit until we received several quotes from other companies. Once we had a few quotes, it was very clear that ION stood well above other companies in every way. ION was more professional, had a better product, and had the best price. I've had nothing but a wonderful experience with ION Solar! The reps were great and kept us informed each step of the way. The installation crew even helped us patch a few shingles on our roof that got damaged in a wind storm that happened just days before installation! What's also wonderful was that we could communicate through whatever means I found more convenient for me, text, phone or email. I work 50 hours a week, so being able to send a quick text response during my breaks was really nice! Their communication and customer service step by step through the project was amazing!! I highly recommend them!!

Overall, we are extremely pleased with our Ion Solar experience. Once we settled on specifications, got necessary permits, etc., then installation was fast and smooth. Once the system was finally able to operate, we were impressed with the system production which is greatly exceeding our expectations for the size of our system. Although we had one small error (conduit painting, not the solar system itself) in the whole endeavor, Ion was very attentive to our concerns and did not waste time sending help to fix the problem. A minor inconvenience, and not detrimental to our whole Ion experience. We are happy to have done business with Ion.

Ion Solar has the worst sales culture! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not disturb people who have clearly placed No Soliciting signs. No clue if you have a great product but STOP BOTHERING PEOPLE AT THEIR HOMES who have asked you not to. I have requested several times since 2023 to be on your Do Not Knock list. So please don’t tell me to ask again! Their door to door sales people have harassed me so much at home with clearly posted No Soliciting signs that I actually got Ion Solar to buy me a large red NO SOLICITING sign last summer. I escalated multiple complaints to them each time a sales rep disregarded our clearly posted signage. I am completely at a loss as to why an Ion Solar sales rep knocked on my door just now. Walked past a giant bright red no soliciting sign that blocks my walkway, didn't regard the additional No soliciting sign on my door and proceeded to knock anyways. Will be reporting this again to Better Business Bureau, FTC and their corporate headquarters. I get you need to make a living and I have respect for sales people and solar power but stop interrupting me at home! Ion Solar - What are you doing systemically to address this issue?

This was absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with! The salesman sold a product and made guarantees about a market he knew nothing about. They are not upfront about any cancelation fees, and their communication both within the company as well as externally is HORRID! I started this process 6/8/2023 and did not get everything completed to operate until 2/9/2024. The initial site survey should have been completed on 6/13 but ended up being rescheduled multiple times for various reasons. They blamed the weather, but it was a sunny day, the guy did not show up another time, and eventually an entirely different technician took over to get the site survey completed which was some time around August. At this time is when I requested things to be canceled and was bullied with this cancelation fee despite the issue being with ION and their technicians. This was the overall trend with everything else that followed, the actual installation was rescheduled, the inspections were rescheduled, check for permits was sent to the incorrect place, etc. This led to me missing a lot of work/money and it was just an entire mess. I'm still not satisied with ION as the salesman guaranteed my panels would be on the front of the house instead of the back. Overall, I regret every giving ION the time of day.

The only negative is that we were promised follow up from the individual that sold us the panels however, we have not heard from him at all. Also, we requested one of our panels to be corrected in the front of our home that looked pretty crooked. We have not had that complete either. Other than those 2 unfortunate events ion solar has been a pleasure to work with.

I was very excited to get solar panels as I had them installed on. my home in Arizona and saw wonderful benefits. I still believe solar is important for the environment but I am not seeing the savings I thought I would yet but we will see what happens in the summer. Right now not great with savings.. I was told to use a refund program for solar and that I would give that to Mosaic to lower my costs but when I called to ask question about this for tax purposes I was sent the contract to send to my CPA so not happy about that. Still not sure what to do if the refund comes through. More support after solar is put in should be considered by the company.

The process with ION started out really great. We did have questions about possibly upgrading our voltage when we added the panels and they never got back to us about their in-house bid, despite calling and emailing multiple times. We did move forward with the solar panel installation though. However, despite getting 3 panels more than the basic recommendation for our current usage, we are still paying our normal electrical bill on top of the Solar Panel loan. I’m not convinced that there are actually producing as much as ION projected the would in the spot that they chose. I tried reaching out to them again, but I get lost in voice mails. It’s like once they’re done the umbilical cord is cut and you’re done.

I like they speed of the installation and the overall look of it. My only regret is a 25yr bill for the install. I look at that cost and I don't think my saving will ever equal the cost. I can't afford to remove it and when my monthly payments change after a year the struggles will really begin.

Once the panels were on though, it's been a very slow and frustrating process to get a consistent project manager to keep the project going. I've had the panels on my house for going on 2 plus months and we've been held up by tech's not putting the right stickers on boxes. I've changed project managers like 3 times. You really have to call and be a squeaky wheel in the last steps to keep things going it seems.

We had 5 different installers install our system. Then there were problems, i.e. wrong electrical was on the schematic and it had to go back to the drawing board to get approved. One guy started installing panels and it got dark. Said he would be back. Found out he was from out of state. 4 more installers came out until the install was complete. Then there was a loose wire and various other things. They changed project managers. The first was a guy I think they got rid of. He was just all talk. When Lyn F was put on the job things started happening. I personally called the town of Deer Trail and arranged the inspection which was today. It was approved so hopefully it will be up and running soon.
