Ion Solar has been very easy to work with. They had some problems with a couple of their sub contractors, but were extremely responsive in correcting the issues. Also after installation one of the panels was not producing power like the other 20 panels. They sent out a tech who assessed the situation and after some trouble shooting replaced the defective panel. In addition while replacing the panel there was some damage to the vinyl siding. They arranged for a company to come out replace the entire wall of siding. Very professional and responsive.

I was surprised how easy it could be to get solar installed on our house. ION Solar works with you to determine the best location, they will reinforce your roof (if necessary) and will do all of the work to install solar panels, including educating you and how the process works. I especially like using the app to see how much money I am putting back into the grid, which saves me money on my electricity bill!

ION Solar does great work at a good price. It did not take them long to install my solar system. I was surprised how fast they did the installation. I have an extremely low power bill because my system generates more power than I use. I believe the small about monthly $16 fee is for monitoring the system and local taxes. I was approached by several different solar companies due to my house being in a prime location for the sun. However, John presented things in a way that was completely different from the rest. Once I accepted, ION made the process so easy. I received texts and could track the progress with their app. The installation guys took my OCD into account and made sure things were neat, the outside boxes weren't positioned and looking crazy, and painted the pole going the side of my house to match my vinyl. I would highly recommend John and the entire ION team to anyone :).

Honestly a great straightforward process. Probably not 100% perfect on the return but generating my own power is great and I get full credit back. I've had a couple of low to zero dollar electrical bills which is sweet. The panels are awesome and don't look totally out of place. I've used Ion Solar for 2 different homes now. I also got my brother and his best friend to get the system. We all love it. I have full access to my system and I save money every month. My bill is $40 per month and the loan is $120 per month. Average electric in my area is about $220 per month so I'm saving $60 monthly easily. More savings in the summer of course. Everyone that I've had dealt with at Ion had been easy to talk with if they didn't have an answer they would find someone who did. It would have been done sooner if not waiting on my insurance on my roof. It was rather quick when they put the panels up took the electrician about a full day to put everything in it's working order. Great install. Very professional team. Paying for itself in 6-7 years. Be very aware of financing and run your numbers carefully. Also read everything very carefully before your sign so as to make your best choice. There are added expenses with taking the loan that make it a bit less economical. also once you sign they try hard to get everything going so make sure you know exactly what's best for you. If you are unsure about a decision (# of panels, loan, etc) hold off and figure it out.

We are very happy with our solar panels. We had a few minor issues with the app but think we have that figured out. The only problem we had with the installation was that when the breaker was installed next to the breaker for the AC unit, the new breaker disrupted the connection to the AC breaker. We didn’t discover this until the first time we tried to run the AC and it wouldn’t work. We finally called an electrician and they confirmed that the breaker installed for the solar system was pushing up against the AC breaker just enough to disrupt it. It was no one’s fault, but it did cost us $150 for a service charge which was a bummer. Otherwise, we are really happy with the results and would recommend your company.

Not sure how much money will save after changing to solar but I think this is a future oriented action since we need to invest for future as year by year price of electricity goes up. ION is a trustworthy company with good customer service who helped me when county did not approve the technical changes and they were always ready to fulfill county's requirements. One small complain is that they should give priority to customers who have been in process for a long time and try to finish their work asap.

We love it, our bill is extremely low between $25-$50 compared to $350 month during the hot Texas summer without the Solar panels. Mr. G did an amazing job explaining how the panels work. I have about six months experience and everything's been fine. It seems like it's working out really well. I got the notifications by text messages when they were gonna be coming out and then they would come out at the correct time. If there was any problems I told them my concerns and it was done pretty quickly. Everything went well. There was some damage to the roof, but that was the only problem. They're pretty responsive to our questions.

I felt my salesman was really trustworthy. But the whole solar industry, there's a lot going on and ion is definitely no different. They didn't have the best financing option. It was definitely the best value for your money out there right now, its just not necessarily the best quality. It was smooth. I think they were in and out in a day, and I don't think they needed more time than that. I think they only had the power down for 15 minutes. It was remarkably fast.

I have a Direct Line to the the head guy there and anything we need, we just text him and he's on it. Our installation happened during the holiday season, so it took a little bit longer. And then also with COVID going on at the time, nobody wanted to come to work and it was all expected. Took a little longer than it should have, but it all worked out in the end. So far we haven't had any issues with anything. It's been going on, I think a year now.

Everything seemed pretty smooth. Install was fairly quick. They came early in the morning and they answered my questions and and gave me advice and tips on how to conserve energy. It went well. Whenever I had questions, if John couldn't answer them, he would always have a supervisor call me and they would also go over the contract. When we initially decided to go with with them, the contract was read paragraph by paragraph by one of the managers or supervisors with me and John. It was pretty informative and covered a lot of the bases.
