Panels were installed along with an electrician on site, went up faster than I expected. There was a difference noted with the power bill for sure. However, we found out that we had a defective microinverter. A tech came out and found that some of the panels were labeled wrong, but she found the culprit and ordered a new one that showed up after a week. I took 3 calls to finally get another tech scheduled, which ended up being the same tech as before. She got the microinverter installed and checked everything before she left. As of right now everything is working perfectly👍🏻

Overall I’m happy with my solar panels. A couple of cons would be the holes being cut into walls there were not repaired and I was told they would be repaired. The panels have been doing the job and they have lowered my energy bill.

The salesman was not on the ball. Try to get him to do something or to get a hold of him and he would tell me that it was my problem to call to see if they had an install date not very pleased at all with the sales person, I did not get my tax breaks. It is split up over five years now because they didn’t get it taken care of soon enough the year they put it in so now it’s spread over five years not what we were told.

Charles A is my Sales Rep and I cannot say enough good things about his deep knowledge and kind caring manner in explaining all aspects of the decision and final purchasing of my home’s solar panels. Everything we were told about Ion Solar was factual. We appreciate that our electric situation was analyzed and the needed number of panels were installed. Nine months of the year we use no electricity from the electric coop we are required to be connected. In the three months of summer when we use more electricity due to air conditioning our bills are still minimal. We are very happy that we switched to solar with Ion Solar.

I first met with ion back in 2019. The salesman was very informative. I was happy with the process. Everything was explained and the installation went off without a hitch. I was so satisfied that I purchased additional panels through ION in 2021. That installation didn’t start off to well but not at the fault of ION. ION communication was great every step of the way. Ion Solar has been very easy to work with. They had some problems with a couple of their sub contractors, but were extremely responsive in correcting the issues. Also after installation one of the panels was not producing power like the other 20 panels. They sent out a tech who assessed the situation and after some trouble shooting replaced the defective panel. In addition while replacing the panel there was some damage to the vinyl siding. They arranged for a company to come out replace the entire wall of siding. Very professional and responsive.

I was surprised how easy it could be to get solar installed on our house. ION Solar works with you to determine the best location, they will reinforce your roof (if necessary) and will do all of the work to install solar panels, including educating you and how the process works. I especially like using the app to see how much money I am putting back into the grid, which saves me money on my electricity bill!

ION Solar does great work at a good price. It did not take them long to install my solar system. I was surprised how fast they did the installation. I have an extremely low power bill because my system generates more power than I use. I believe the small about monthly $16 fee is for monitoring the system and local taxes. I am happy with the system. Hollie is very good at explaining everything a customer needs to know about the installation cost, the installation time and how the system works. Anthony

I was approached by several different solar companies due to my house being in a prime location for the sun. However, John presented things in a way that was completely different from the rest. Once I accepted, ION made the process so easy. I received texts and could track the progress with their app. The installation guys took my OCD into account and made sure things were neat, the outside boxes weren't positioned and looking crazy, and painted the pole going the side of my house to match my vinyl.
