My house is pretty old so there were a few changes and delays that had to be done. The only thing Iwould have better is the trenching that was done in my yard could have been covered better.

This was a very slow process in getting everything completed. I told Ion Solar that I worked night shift & had to sleep during the day. They woke me up almost daily with what seemed like millions of phone calls & text messages. I finally had to be rude to them to get my point across about not texting or calling until later in the afternoons but I guess they already forgot. Still waking me up. I’d sure think twice before doing this again🥱🥱

Panels were installed along with an electrician on site, went up faster than I expected. There was a difference noted with the power bill for sure. However, we found out that we had a defective microinverter. A tech came out and found that some of the panels were labeled wrong, but she found the culprit and ordered a new one that showed up after a week. I took 3 calls to finally get another tech scheduled, which ended up being the same tech as before. She got the microinverter installed and checked everything before she left. As of right now everything is working perfectly👍🏻

The salesman was not on the ball. Try to get him to do something or to get a hold of him and he would tell me that it was my problem to call to see if they had an install date not very pleased at all with the sales person, I did not get my tax breaks. It is split up over five years now because they didn’t get it taken care of soon enough the year they put it in so now it’s spread over five years not what we were told.

I definitely appreciated the speed of service and the kindness of everyone involved! Knowing that the installation of solar panels could help offset the skyrocketing electrical bills came as a relief. The only downside so far is that the panels have not completely balanced my energy bills as we first thought which has resulted in slightly higher combined monthly bills between Ion and the energy company, though we may have increased our energy usage (I really don’t know either way).

I’ve seen some negative reviews about ion, but I think it was just because people didn’t really pay attention when everything was being explained to them because everything was super clear to me And I know exactly what to expect the whole time. I honestly can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t go solar.
