Everything from the initial meeting with Spencer to the set up of the solar panels was easy. I had a sound coming from the roof when it was windy one day, not long after the install and they came right back and fixed it. I haven’t had any problems and it’s saving me money which is the best part!!

Panels were installed along with an electrician on site, went up faster than I expected. There was a difference noted with the power bill for sure. However, we found out that we had a defective microinverter. A tech came out and found that some of the panels were labeled wrong, but she found the culprit and ordered a new one that showed up after a week. I took 3 calls to finally get another tech scheduled, which ended up being the same tech as before. She got the microinverter installed and checked everything before she left. As of right now everything is working perfectly👍🏻

Overall I’m happy with my solar panels. A couple of cons would be the holes being cut into walls there were not repaired and I was told they would be repaired. The panels have been doing the job and they have lowered my energy bill.

The salesman was not on the ball. Try to get him to do something or to get a hold of him and he would tell me that it was my problem to call to see if they had an install date not very pleased at all with the sales person, I did not get my tax breaks. It is split up over five years now because they didn’t get it taken care of soon enough the year they put it in so now it’s spread over five years not what we were told.

I definitely appreciated the speed of service and the kindness of everyone involved! Knowing that the installation of solar panels could help offset the skyrocketing electrical bills came as a relief. The only downside so far is that the panels have not completely balanced my energy bills as we first thought which has resulted in slightly higher combined monthly bills between Ion and the energy company, though we may have increased our energy usage (I really don’t know either way).

The one thing I have seen as a challenge is more related to finding a provider that has a viable buyback plan. Be sure to do your due diligence in researching the best options available, and most importantly, be sure to go with company that has a buyback plan.
