Everything has been fantastic so far, with the exception of a design change to the layout of panels on our roof that has delayed our system getting turned on by a few weeks. Make sure the site assessment takes into account the location of the pipes and features on the roof. Other than that, service has been great. Can't wait to get our system up and running, especially as we head into June when our production potential will be at its greatest.

ION Solar staff were all very professional and completed the installation of the solar panels in a timely manner, about 6 weeks from start to finish. They clean up after the work is completed. This is the first time ever that I have had solar installed on any house I have ever owned, I recommend this company.

Overall the experience and process from beginning to end was so uneventful. The sales pitch was well delivered. The product sells itself. The install was professional and no gliches. The startup of the system after the meter was put in was 1-2-3 done and up and running. We were not dissapointed and are very happy with the product.

Installation is complete as of this writing. All contacts from employees of Ion have been extremely courteous and friendly. The installation was completed in a timely fashion and the job site was left in a clean and orderly fashion. We are waiting on the meter installation by the electric company at this point. So far - all is right.

I really like the guys working on my solar. They were fast and clean. Every time I ask the sale person about my solar, they gave me the answer with out any problems. When the guys were done, one of the guys stay behind and check to see if my wired were working on my solar.

We selected Vision after talking to 4 other solar companies. All of them were disorganized and seemed like used car salesmen. Vision was completely different - very professional with organized systems and a very knowledgeable and personable sales person in Doug Rose. The installation was pretty good with some nice extras (A Nest thermostat and LED light bulbs) though they did leave a bit of a mess around the perimeter of the house. They also did have problems connecting the monitor/app and in fact those problems became a big frustration as the panels were only producing, or reporting about 20% of what they were supposed to for the first few months. This caused us to lose a significant amount of money and feel like we had been ripped off. Vision continued to communicate with us and finally got the problem fixed. Now that it is working well we are pretty satisfied.

Vision is by far the best solar company in South Carolina. They only do ownership in SC not leasing which is the only way to win with solar. The sales rep was very open and transparent at the door, and our panels look much nicer and cleaner than the system across the street, and I am saving over 40 bucks a month on my power.

The initial install was 2 weeks after signing (county and utility inspections took awhile). The project manager and different teams communicated with me frequently especially when we were waiting for they inspections and they were responsive. The process took 7 months which is ridiculous. It took so long even my solar loan payments began! Fortunately Ion agreed to pay for the 2 months of payments when there was a overlap of the loan kicking in but the solar not being turned on. I did enjoy their customer service line though. Sweetest phone reps. I also liked my sales rep Noe. His sales presentation and knowledge was impressive.

Ion Solar did a good job putting my system together. I am very happy with it. Just wish they showed you how to clean the panels when they get dirty. My lower panels are producing almost half as the top panels because they are dirty (so I think).
