ION did a very good job from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly by our sales rep, Brian S. When I was unsure of whether we were getting a good deal, he encouraged me to get a competing quote. The competitor's price turned out to be almost exactly the same per kWh. However, they were suggesting we get many more panels than we really needed, and their communication wasn't nearly as good. Brian wanted us to feel good about our ultimate choice, and we did. Communication throughout the purchase, design, installation, and inspection phases was frequent via email, phone, and text. Now I probably have too much fun looking at my app to see how much power we are producing each day!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I normally don't entertain people coming to my house trying to sell a product. I will say I have always thought about getting Solar because it makes sense to me however I never knew what company to trust and from my past experience most sales people are scams. When Mr. Ryan H of Virginia Beach, VA came to my house in February 2022 I was ready to turn him away but he was so nice and professional I decided to hear him out. After the initial meeting I decided to have him come back the next day to give me more information on ION Solar. I am so glad I did, he was the most professional and friendly sales guy I have ever met. He came in set up his laptop and went over every detail any questions I had he answered. Unlike most sales people they are pushy and they have no idea what they are talking about they just want to sell you a product that they don't even believe in. He was so educated on ION Solar even I was impressed. That day I decided to get ION Solar thanks to Mr. H and I am so glad I did. With most people who sell a product after you purchase the product they are selling you never hear from them again. Mr. Ryan H stayed in touch with me through the entire process ensuring I was happy with ION Solar. I had no issues with install and or inspections the communication with the entire company was nothing sort then excellent and professional. I am writing this review today because I received my first power bill from Dominion tonight as where it is normally $200+ today it was a today of....... $1.71 yes ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY ONE CENTS. Now I did have a $5.55 credit from the month before so in reality my total bill is $7.26. AGAIN THANK YOU MR. RYAN H for helping me and my family invest in our home. YOUR AMAZING.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Ion Solar. From the sales process to implementation, everything was well communicated and smooth. After signing the contract, there is quite a bit of design and permitting that needs to happen before install is approved. The team at Ion did a great job continuously reaching out to me to let me know where we are at and what is to come next. They delivered our project faster than I thought possible. The install crew was very professional and respectful of our property while completing the install. I’d highly recommend Ion to anyone looking to install Solar.

I have had solar panels from ION Solar about five years now. I have had no problems with any of the panels nor the converter box. I bought them out right and at the time with the Government rebate, I received a great deal. I have a 1939 sqft house and my average electric bill is EXCELLENT. As long as the city does not keep increasing the electric rate, I feel the purchase of the panels were well worth it. Thank You ION Solar.

Ion Solar developed our solar system and installed it in 2020. The installation was flawless. Ion worked with us to make sure the system met our needs. They helped us with financing, used an app to keep us informed of installation schedule, responded quickly to questions, worked around our schedule, arrived at the agreed upon installation time and quickly installed the system. Everyone was courteous and professional. The system has worked beautifully for the past 5 years. This year (2025) we had to repair a section of our roof and requested that Ion temporarily remove two panels while the roofer completed their repair. Ion worked closely with the roofer, removed the panels and then reinstalled them when the work was completed. Again, the Ion team was on-time, professional and courteous. Their price for the work was very reasonable. Ion made the whole process simple. I have been very happy with Ion Solar. Their attention to detail and professionalism counts not just during the installation but afterwards when you need their help with some issue that relates to the solar panel system.

ion was in our little neighborhood explaining solar. we had considered it for some time . 2 young men spent some time with my wife and i. gave us a thorough explanation of how it works and asked to look at our power bills to average our usage. i had a years receipts handy. they explained how long it should take for it pays for itself. we signed up and they waited for us to put a new roof on(ours was over 25 years lld) they showed up and in 2 days we were waiting for city inspection and i remember it wasn’t to much longer and we were using it. it paid for itself before we figured. it was a help that they gave us enough light bulbs to change everyone in house to a very much less user of power. we are totally amazed. immediately 2 of our friends came over for few months to review the system and how the power bills worked, they both were as amazed as us and signed up and both had ION 8 months after us. they both celebrated when theirs was paid off. it’s been truly a FUN adventure for us. we recycle we conserve wherever we can but it’s an amazing feeling every month for us and my friends. for a few months after theirs was hooked up i got calls every month when they got their p owed bill.

Awesome company! Wasn’t even thinking of changing over to solar and Mitch convinced us that is was a really good choice with how much sunlight we had access too during daylight hours. We were one of the first residence in the neighborhood that converted to solar. The installation was completed in about 6 hours and has worked perfectly since installation. We are now selling our excess power that we are not using. We have not had an electric bill since installation.

I liked the presentation I got and decided to purchase my solar panels. Everything that I was told was true. I even added on extra panels to increase the amount of electricity I was generating and now I’m generating a little over 100% of the electricity I use. With the solar renewable energy certificates and the purchase plan agreement with the power company I’m actually making money. The money I save on the electric bill pays for monthly loan payments. I’m very happy I purchased solar panels about 6 and a half years ago.

I was so glad to find out Ion Solar had started doing roofing along with solar panel installation. Even though they didn't have to remove my panels to do the repairs on my roof, it was good to know if they did, they were the ones who installed them in the first place and would be the best to deal with removal. Will definitely be using them again if needed, and would for sure recommend them.

They showed up at the door and uh, the numbers worked out? We had been thinking about solar anyway but basically it boiled down to the value being tied to future rate increases and BOY HAS THAT WORKED OUT. The percentage off hasn't changed, but the $ figure has become significant. And as we get more and more of these AI data centers it's only going to get worse. The longer you wait, the more money you're leaving on the table... Also ION were gods, install was fast and 5 years down the line our roof hasn't had any problems, and system performance has stayed steady.

The sale person was cordial, respectfully and very knowledgeable about the solar panels. He explained things in simple English that even I understood. This help much in making my decision to go head thru the whole process. Including the loan application right on the spot. I was blown away of how quickly the bank approved me. I asked questions and I got straight answers from my sale person. Normally I never listen to door sale people but that day I listened to him at my front door and I let him in and I learned a lot about the pros and cons of solar panels. I read some about them back in 1999. Every team that followed after the first ION solar were all very professionals, knew what they were doing and explains things to me very basic English and with excellent house keeping. The installation team excellent by coming on time and getting the job installing the solar panels on my roof and installing ION electrical boxes and foing the convetdion and the connection. The solar panels installation took half a day. My overall ION SOLAR experience is very impressive. Try it yourself and see.

Full disclosure, system has not been commissioned yet, however it did pass my and the city’s inspection today. The installation was professional and friendly. I checked all the components: rack installation, roof attachments, grounding, signage, and electrical upgrades. All the work was properly performed. Nothing’s ever perfect in the world of construction, and this is no exception. I would have preferred the conduit be run under the soffit before running on the roof, that roof surface is protected during the project, and that they use a torque tool to verify proper tightening of attachments and terminations.

From our first encounter with ION representatives to the present day of installation everyone and I do mean everyone, and there are many ION representatives, that were extremely professional, polite, helpful and answered all our concerns & questions. Could not of asked to be handled any better. Also the crew just finished the installation and they were more than amazing. Right on schedule, explained what was being done, completed the job as advised, and cleaned up after themselves. This may seem petty but the the guy working in the attic even vacsvuum our carpet stairs. Wow! My wife and I are extremely happy a look forward to the day of inspection and when we can turn on our ION SOLAR PANEL for good.
