ION did a very good job from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly by our sales rep, Brian S. When I was unsure of whether we were getting a good deal, he encouraged me to get a competing quote. The competitor's price turned out to be almost exactly the same per kWh. However, they were suggesting we get many more panels than we really needed, and their communication wasn't nearly as good. Brian wanted us to feel good about our ultimate choice, and we did. Communication throughout the purchase, design, installation, and inspection phases was frequent via email, phone, and text. Now I probably have too much fun looking at my app to see how much power we are producing each day!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I normally don't entertain people coming to my house trying to sell a product. I will say I have always thought about getting Solar because it makes sense to me however I never knew what company to trust and from my past experience most sales people are scams. When Mr. Ryan H of Virginia Beach, VA came to my house in February 2022 I was ready to turn him away but he was so nice and professional I decided to hear him out. After the initial meeting I decided to have him come back the next day to give me more information on ION Solar. I am so glad I did, he was the most professional and friendly sales guy I have ever met. He came in set up his laptop and went over every detail any questions I had he answered. Unlike most sales people they are pushy and they have no idea what they are talking about they just want to sell you a product that they don't even believe in. He was so educated on ION Solar even I was impressed. That day I decided to get ION Solar thanks to Mr. H and I am so glad I did. With most people who sell a product after you purchase the product they are selling you never hear from them again. Mr. Ryan H stayed in touch with me through the entire process ensuring I was happy with ION Solar. I had no issues with install and or inspections the communication with the entire company was nothing sort then excellent and professional. I am writing this review today because I received my first power bill from Dominion tonight as where it is normally $200+ today it was a today of....... $1.71 yes ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY ONE CENTS. Now I did have a $5.55 credit from the month before so in reality my total bill is $7.26. AGAIN THANK YOU MR. RYAN H for helping me and my family invest in our home. YOUR AMAZING.

What can I say that would better help you the reader understand the delight it was to work with ION Solar. EVERYONE, from the initial person knocking on my door, to the support team now years after install, have been nothing but helpful and great. I have heard plenty of horror stories from my neighbors and family about the companies they went with. While I just brag at the excellent customer service and quality product they provide. Most of my neighbors have had 1-2 repairs or replacements with their solar panels. They did not go with ION like I did and now suffer. I was the first to install and tried to recommend to everyone and have had NO ISSUES. Now my neighbors constantly tell me “we should have gone with your guy”

Honestly a great straightforward process. Probably not 100% perfect on the return but generating my own power is great and I get full credit back. I've had a couple of low to zero dollar electrical bills which is sweet. The panels are awesome and don't look totally out of place. Everytime I had questions for the customer service team they were answered in a reasonable time and always very welcoming. I do tend to ask dumb questions.

The whole process went very smoothly. The permits were done efficiently and so approvals came very quickly. The install day was perfect and it looks beautiful! They worked with us to accommodate our desires on where to place them (all on back side of our roof) which is west facing. Very well pleased with the finished product and it is working perfectly. 😊

Here we are in November, my solar has been on for roughly 10 months. I've had a hot Oklahoma summer with them on. Not a electric bill over $46 except for 1 month. The hottest month it was $92. Looking to see how many credits I build with PSO during the winter for summer use. Someone is always at the house so the AC stays on. They took care of the approvals and we coordinated with my HOA for their approval. The installation guys were excellent. I'm not going to say I didn't have worries through the process. I now realize my worries were unfounded. My sales rep Mike, was excellent. I met him first as my wife was out of town, (they want both homeowners there). When she returned, he gave a solid presentation, was able effectively answer our questions and we made adjustments to the amount of panels and got a real time cost. Overall. It was pretty quick on install. You have 2 months before your payment starts. They will re-imburse you for the months you pay for electric and your solar panel note. I did not utilize that option bc it was during the winter and my bill was $17 (I have gas heat). If it was the summer, it would probably be a different story. It was roughly 5 months before PSO had everything rectified. This is a somewhat extensive review. I understand. I know that purchasing solar is a big deal. But it is worth it. I'm an energy producer now. Not just a consumer. I produce for the grid, they send it back. They don't have to maintain it. It is a win for them too. Eventually, I'll have ION put in reserve battery packs. ION is a solid company. They are good people.

Usually not a great fan of Door to Door marketing but ION has been an exception. They were respectful since the beginning of the conversation and great to work with. From the get go, design phase, they were easy to work with and patient helped in making changes and help in getting necessary approvals and permits during the installation process. Since most of the communication were over SMS or Email, it was easy to work with with written communication across the phases. They also took care of the permits and approvals from HOA to City/County approvals. Also helped in financing with low APR that helped in replacing my electric bill with this but also get value for money. Overall, great company to work with and quality of service. As for the maintenance, though there were initial hiccups in reaching the team, once I did, they did great. Proper follow ups and estimated time of completion and the issue is resolved with minimal effort from me.

I've used Ion Solar for 2 different homes now. I also got my brother and his best friend to get the system. We all love it. I have full access to my system and I save money every month. My bill is $40 per month and the loan is $120 per month. Average electric in my area is about $220 per month so I'm saving $60 monthly easily. More savings in the summer of course. My HOA gave me issues and Ion took care of it all. Such great customer service.

The first thing I noticed and liked was the initial contact; me being totally ignorant on how the solar process works with your home and your energy provider was explained it in detail more then once, Mike made SURE I understood everything and if I had questions a few months later he took the time to explain it patiently and said to contact him anytime. Second: I was able to follow the installation from beginning to end step by step. Third: The installers were fast, accurate and left NO mess on the property and one of the installers gave me some very useful information on saving energy even with solar panels. Fourth: The solar panels are not visible from the street. Fifth: I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED!

Great install. Very professional team. Paying for itself in 6-7 years. Be very aware of financing and run your numbers carefully. Also read everything very carefully before your sign so as to make your best choice. There are added expenses with taking the loan that make it a bit less economical. also once you sign they try hard to get everything going so make sure you know exactly what's best for you. If you are unsure about a decision (# of panels, loan, etc) hold off and figure it out.

Wow! From start to finish, what an amazing team at Ion Solar. I’m a first time homeowner and always wanted to invest in solar panels. We live in a new construction community and we had a ton of vendors selling their products and services to us especially for solar. Nick and Brandon were the front line and were so kind, knowledgeable and professional. They were not pushy at all. Every question I had was answered and I learned quite a bit from them. The communication was top notch and the install team did a wonderful job. The install team was communicative, polite, punctual and respectful of our property inside and out. We are very happy with our solar panels. We had a few minor issues with the app but think we have that figured out. The only problem we had with the installation was that when the breaker was installed next to the breaker for the AC unit, the new breaker disrupted the connection to the AC breaker. We didn’t discover this until the first time we tried to run the AC and it wouldn’t work. We finally called an electrician and they confirmed that the breaker installed for the solar system was pushing up against the AC breaker just enough to disrupt it. It was no one’s fault, but it did cost us $150 for a service charge which was a bummer. Otherwise, we are really happy with the results and would recommend your company.
