The salesman was a little pushy but I understand it is his living. We were already to go Solar before we were contacted by your company so we were a little amused at his style. The installation crew was very professional and quick. `. The wait between the Installation of the system and operational date was way too long (ie over 30 days). However we are glad that it is sdone and operational.

Great service from site survey, install, text communication, email communication. Install to 1 day and in a week I was up and running. Never had to shot off power or disturb me while I was home. Over all great experience and I will be using ION Solar for my other homes.

Mike B was exceptional in explaining how the system works and how much it will save in costs in the long run. Like that I was reassured nothing would happen to roof from installation IE: leaks and damages covered by Ion Solar for 25 years ! Electrical install with all the equipment went smooth and finished product looks outstanding. I hope system works as explained to me as I have never had any experience with solar. Had a Program manager named Sidnee who I could never get in touch with , But called Mike and he took care of my issues .

ION Solar techs did an excellent job in installing my system. There was some confusion after the installation in getting the inspections (ION changed my project manager). However, everything was completed in a few weeks and my first power bill was half of the normal bill even though the weather was not very cooperative.

I was skeptical about solar systems and the cost; but when Tyson J and the ION solar crew gave me some information too go over, it helped make me a little aware of the solar industry. They were not pushy at all, they were patient and informative, there was a lot of information but they took the time to explain the process. the installation crew was fast and professional and talk to me during the process. i have already recommended ION solar to friends and family. I am definitely pleased with the installation and how sleek and discreet the system is.

Well we signed up on August 5, 2019 and they finished the install on September 27, 2019. System is up and running. We had a couple if hick ups along the way, but every one was very helpful. My PM Andrew Floyd was so understanding with me and all my crazy questions. They did every thing they said they were going to do. The app on my phone help me to understand the process and a little learning.

I’ll get to the point, the communication is lacking regards to the actual panels that were installed. We asked for a clean design, Ion Solar did NOT live up to what they promised as far as placement. The initial placement draft was shown to us, at that time we requested a different placement as we wanted a little more organization. So, Anthony R presented a more cleaner design, which we agreed on. Well, they installed neither of the two!! We are have lots of patience, but still, to this day, we haven’t heard anything from Ion Solar about this. We feel that that are taking their time, hoping we will forget about the placement and move on!! We spent a LOT of money on these panels. Everything else with ION has been pleasant, but this is soo disappointing in a company to do this to a customer!! Please keep an eye on the installation!!! I hope this is not happening regularly!!

Very professional and no pressure. Common sense approach. My power bill went from over 200 per month to 105 per month. I also get to run my AC all day all night. Never run out of power and bill never goes up. Veteran friendly as well.

Ion was initially quick to answer and return calls and come to the house to help me. Once I decided to go with them and signed the contract, I was unable to reach them via phone again and none of my several voicemails were returned. I had questions about the contract and documents I was signing but had to rely on a friend for help who is also a customer. In addition to nonexistent support, the installation team failed the inspection, which meant they had to come back and try again. They told me the inspector who works for my local community was unreasonable so I offered to call the city for them to give them feedback...When they realized I would go to bat for them, the team changed their tune and asked me not to do that and they partially took responsibility for failing the inspection. 2 of my 15 panels produce about 40% less energy than the rest. Otherwise the system seems to be working well.

Everything has been fantastic so far, with the exception of a design change to the layout of panels on our roof that has delayed our system getting turned on by a few weeks. Make sure the site assessment takes into account the location of the pipes and features on the roof. Other than that, service has been great. Can't wait to get our system up and running, especially as we head into June when our production potential will be at its greatest.

Overall the experience and process from beginning to end was so uneventful. The sales pitch was well delivered. The product sells itself. The install was professional and no gliches. The startup of the system after the meter was put in was 1-2-3 done and up and running. We were not dissapointed and are very happy with the product.

Installation is complete as of this writing. All contacts from employees of Ion have been extremely courteous and friendly. The installation was completed in a timely fashion and the job site was left in a clean and orderly fashion. We are waiting on the meter installation by the electric company at this point. So far - all is right.
