The salesman, Tom K, was very knowledgeable of the technical & financial aspects of the project. He spent a lot of time to answer the many questions that I asked and returned to brief my wife. He was able to compare the ION Solar system with other competitors that I had interviewed. The installation team led by Matt C did a great job installing 39 panels in one day including a thorough clean-up. I did have an issue with the electrician who deviated from the agreed to cable run path without letting me know & as a result ran the conduit external to the house instead of most of it being internal - it distracts from the appearance of the house. The system is up and running better than I anticipated.

Working with ION was a pleasure. They made the process of getting solar panels easy and understandable. They walked us through each step of the process from design to installation, answering all of our questions along the way. They even worked with our HOA and township in order to fill out all of the proper forms and ensure that we got the proper approvals. They communicated with us frequently to provide updates, even if the update was that they are still waiting to hear back from the city about permits. They were honest and upfront about the whole process and what it would take to get solar installed. We couldn't be happier with the results.

We knew when we moved to Las Vegas that it'd be an ideal location to have solar installed on our home. That said, we didn't know much about it and were a bit intimidated at the thought of having to shop around. When ION showed up at our door we were eager to learn how they could help us but didn't want to commit until we received several quotes from other companies. Once we had a few quotes, it was very clear that ION stood well above other companies in every way. ION was more professional, had a better product, and had the best price. Overall, we felt well taken care of and had all our questions answered along the way. ION made it easy from start to finish. We're beyond satisfied with the value we received.

I've had nothing but a wonderful experience with ION Solar! The reps were great and kept us informed each step of the way. The installation crew even helped us patch a few shingles on our roof that got damaged in a wind storm that happened just days before installation! What's also wonderful was that we could communicate through whatever means I found more convenient for me, text, phone or email. I work 50 hours a week, so being able to send a quick text response during my breaks was really nice! Their communication and customer service step by step through the project was amazing!! I highly recommend them!!

Overall, we are extremely pleased with our Ion Solar experience. Once we settled on specifications, got necessary permits, etc., then installation was fast and smooth. Once the system was finally able to operate, we were impressed with the system production which is greatly exceeding our expectations for the size of our system. Although we had one small error (conduit painting, not the solar system itself) in the whole endeavor, Ion was very attentive to our concerns and did not waste time sending help to fix the problem. A minor inconvenience, and not detrimental to our whole Ion experience. We are happy to have done business with Ion.

I would be cautious on using Ion Solar , with multiple attempts to have them come finish the install and programming of the solar panels. The only response I get is they need to send a technician but want me to pay $250 for the visit. The programming was never completed and working properly since the first day and they don’t seem to care. Attached are some photos of the error that I am receiving and the productivity that my system is doing now compared to last year and I have more panels right now than I did last year… Really frustrating.

Not only did they place solar panels over the eaves of my front porch, punching screws through my new roof so they were visible, but they took so long to correct the problem that I missed the chance to claim the incentive on this years' tax return so I had to take a HELOC to pay it so my payments won't increase. It took over 7 months from beginning to end, horrible experience.
