Tom was awesome! Very professional, very personable, and explained everything in a very clear and easy to understand manner. Nathaniel M did the initial survey, and he was just as great. Definitely a pleasure to do business with. Ross, Joseph, and the rest of the install crew were just as professional and did an outstanding job.

Installation is complete as of this writing. All contacts from employees of Ion have been extremely courteous and friendly. The installation was completed in a timely fashion and the job site was left in a clean and orderly fashion. We are waiting on the meter installation by the electric company at this point. So far - all is right.

Great company. I felt they fully explained everything to us,We had several issures with Xcel energy but they helped me thru them. Their people were always on time for appointments and didn't use a 3 hour window for arrival times

From selling me on the gorgeous and elegant panels, to pulling city permits and getting my HOA approval, installing, inspecting, and great customer care from my project manager as well, I am happy as a lark, and ready for my electric company to come put in a new electric box, and I'm solar!!!

I really like the guys working on my solar. They were fast and clean. Every time I ask the sale person about my solar, they gave me the answer with out any problems. When the guys were done, one of the guys stay behind and check to see if my wired were working on my solar.

We selected Vision after talking to 4 other solar companies. All of them were disorganized and seemed like used car salesmen. Vision was completely different - very professional with organized systems and a very knowledgeable and personable sales person in Doug Rose. The installation was pretty good with some nice extras (A Nest thermostat and LED light bulbs) though they did leave a bit of a mess around the perimeter of the house. They also did have problems connecting the monitor/app and in fact those problems became a big frustration as the panels were only producing, or reporting about 20% of what they were supposed to for the first few months. This caused us to lose a significant amount of money and feel like we had been ripped off. Vision continued to communicate with us and finally got the problem fixed. Now that it is working well we are pretty satisfied.

Vision is by far the best solar company in South Carolina. They only do ownership in SC not leasing which is the only way to win with solar. The sales rep was very open and transparent at the door, and our panels look much nicer and cleaner than the system across the street, and I am saving over 40 bucks a month on my power.

Had a great experience with ION! They answered all my questions and explained things well (especially our rep Daniel D . The initial install was 2 weeks after signing (county and utility inspections took awhile). The project manager and different teams communicated with me frequently especially when we were waiting for they inspections and they were responsive. I'm loving that I now generate more electricity than I use!

They did a fantastic job serving as liaison between us and the electric company and our HOA as we completed the project. And our sales rep, Jason was always reachable by call or text to answer any questions we had throughout the entire process! Highly recommend!

I got a quote from Ion and was interested until I got other quotes. Each quote was similar cost or lower. The issue is Ion was quoting a system much smaller for the same price. When I did my research I fond out they exaggerated the production by 30% over what the system could produce. If you go with Ion make sure the system size is the same as you others are quoting otherwise you'll be stuck with a much larger energy bill than they tell you.
