Wildlife and Rodent Control

Alongside providing pest control services for common pests, Terminix offers homeowners and commercial properties a wildlife control plan. Wildlife can chew through wires, eat drywall, tear insulation, leave droppings behind, and destroy personal property and belongings.

A Wildlife Control plan with Terminix includes a free inspection — where a technician will identify any entry points the wildlife are using to get in — a guarantee to come back and eliminate, and remove trapped pests, repairs to any new damage, and the company will seal any new entry points the wildlife creates**.

Additional Services

Pest Control Plan Exclusions

Before signing a contract with Terminix for a pest control plan, be sure to read the fine print and make sure the treatment plan provides the right coverage. For example, Terminix’s Guaranteed Pest Control Plan covers treatment for cockroaches, mice, rats, silverfish, “house” ants, clothes moths, non-poisonous spiders, scorpions, centipedes, millipedes, earwigs, house crickets, and paper wasps.

It does not include coverage for carpenter ants, fire ants, pharaoh ants, tawny crazy ants, termites, wood-boring beetles, bed bugs, and mosquitoes.

Homeowners who want coverage for these pests will need to purchase an additional pest control plan for an additional charge.

Service Available in Most but Not All Regions

While Terminix offers coverage in most of the United States, there are five states that Terminix does not service: Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Vermont.

The Bottom Line

Terminix is one of the most well-known brands in the termite treatment and pest control industry and has more than 90 years of experience. The company offers free inspections for services that require an inspection before purchase, a variety of plans, a money-back guarantee, and 100 percent satisfaction on many services.

However, be sure to read the fine print on the contract before signing. The Standard Pest Control plan doesn't cover all pests and to receive coverage for certain pests (mosquito service, termite activity, bed bug issues, etc.), you'll have to pay a separate fee for an additional plan.

Terminix does stand out with its superior customer service. The pest control operators strive to respond to customers and deploy a local technician to any location as quickly as possible to ensure customer satisfaction. The Terminix C.O.D.E provides customers with 24/7 customer service, on-demand solutions, 100 percent satisfaction, and effective pest control strategies.

Overall, we recommend working with Terminix for your professional pest control needs.

I only give a star because I believe eventually my problem is going to be taken care of. I was misled and made to sign a contract for a high price due to what I thought would be high quality service. They came and sprayed for 15 minutes and left rather than what I envisioned as a thorough treatment with heat and the like. Whenever I would call to schedule an appointment I was never told when they were scheduled until the tech called 2 days prior. The tech gave contradicting details from the sales rep. The tech was also very unprofessional speaking informally and texting completely irrelevant details about how far he had to drive to get to me. It shouldn't be my problem or concern if they don't find someone in my area. The only good thing I can say is that they sprayed and it's working. I was given the impression one treatment would be enough. And then told it would have to be at least 2-3 minimum by the technician. The company as a while can't get their employees and services together. I was also told there was no interest to finance and then when I got the contract there was a fee. The entire experience has been unpleasant.

HORRIBLE! Terminix is a FRAUD! NEVER sign any contract with them you. They will take your hard-earned money and will not do their job! We signed a contract for the exclusion and pest control with Terminix for several thousand dollars. The inspector was explaining us how they will do about 70 things on our house to exterminate and protect our house from mice, bats and all kinds of insects. After we signed a contract, the Terminix technician came to our property for 30 min, sprayed chemicals around the house, got on a roof, supposedly installed ridge vent guards and patched cracks on a roof. Then he left and send us a paper that the exclusion work is now complete! I was trying to get them back to finish all the promised work, or cancel the contract, but customer service kept telling me that the local manager will contact me within 24 hours and no one ever contacted me. What we found next, was even worst. We asked two local pest control company for the inspection on our house and they both told us that ridge vent guards are not installed properly, they done about 30% of work, and only half of the cracks on a roof are patched. And the patches that they did already falling out. We still have mice, bats, ants and spiders, and lost $4835.00. The customer service is very rude, they simply hang up on me when I asked to transfer me to her manager. The technician that came to our house looked like he was under the influence of some substance, I did not feel safe around him. He, literally, walked through me, not answering my greetings. IT IS A FRADULENT COMPANY! I will report them to attorney general, but will not get my money back, or time, or get the compensation for the stress I had to go through.

I had a truly terrible experience with Terminix when I discovered bees inside my house. I reached out to them for help, and that's when my nightmare began. Here's a breakdown of the problems I encountered: Deceptive Sales Tactics: When the Terminix inspector arrived, he informed me that the only way to address the bee problem immediately was to sign a year-long agreement. Feeling pressured, I reluctantly agreed. Failed Appointments: The following day, I was promised that someone would come between 12-2 PM to resolve the issue. Nobody showed up during that time slot. I called again, and they rescheduled for 5 PM, but once again, nobody showed up. The same thing happened when they rescheduled for 5:50 PM. The lack of punctuality was not only frustrating but also inconvenient, as it disrupted my plans. Lack of Communication: To make matters worse, I had to call multiple times before anyone took my concerns seriously. It took until 7 PM for them to even consider connecting me with a supervisor, and then I was told it would take another 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. Incompetent Service: When a technician finally arrived two days after the initial inspection, they were clueless about the problem because Terminix hadn't shared the inspection report with them. I had to explain the issue all over again. Even after some work, they said they needed a handyman and another visit to resolve the problem. Cancellation Hassle: Frustrated and fed up, I decided to cancel the agreement. Calling to cancel wasn't a straightforward process either, as I had to endure long wait times before they promised to cancel the agreement within a day or two. In summary, Terminix is a company that cannot be trusted. They use high-pressure sales tactics to get you to sign agreements, but when it comes to delivering on their promises, they fall short time and time again. They were unprofessional, unreliable, and ultimately failed to address the pest issue I was facing. My experience with them has been nothing but a nightmare, and I strongly advise against trusting this company with your pest control needs.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a service done in the beginning of May. There was supposed to be a consultation before hand and the day chosen was not the day they arrived but I digress... After the service was done (or not done) I called back to let them know. I was told by the customer service representative that they would be able to send someone back out. When I asked if I'd be charged, she replied no, it's within the 30 day period... Now fast forward to the second service, I was billed again. I called to sort out this issue and had the rudest customer service rep. who claimed nothing could be done. He (Aaron) would put me on hold for 5+ minutes at a time and come back on the phone saying "sir" after about the 3rd/4th time I called him out on it and asked for a supervisor. He refused and hung up on me. I called back shortly after this and spoke with a colleague of his and she "sent the issue to the branch". Still 4 months later trying to get this resolved... I've tried using the "chat" option and received another rude representative who did not want to help...I called back and spoke with another representative and he let me know I shouldn't have been charged and this claim would be "sent to the branch". I have been trying to have this dealt with but there are no supervisors in reach. I would never recommend Terminix for any type of pest control.

I use terminix for monthly service. Last time they came out, the inspector reported Termite Issues. This led to someone else coming out and inspecting concluding that we had a major infestation, pointing out termite "waste" all over our patio floor. If we didn't pay $1970 on the spot for a plan we would end up needing to tent the house at a cost of $8200. We reluctantly signed up. When they came out to treat the house, the rep said we did not have a major issue. The only problem we had was a small one in some wood on our patio roof (which is 90% plastic) which he treated. The "waste" was wood shavings. He looked in the attic and said there were no issues. He was here for less than an hour, and most of that was on the phone with terminix trying to find out why we were told we had a major problem when we did not. I called to complain. A very understanding rep listened, appalled st my situation and promised it would be addressed. A few days later I found out that a neighbour is getting their house tented for $2100..not exactly $8200). A 'manager" finally called back and proceeded to ignore everything I was telling him, refusing to refund a penny, stating I signed up so I have to pay...I was completely misled by the 2nd person that came out. 1st and 3rd were great. I feel like I was given worse than the "used car salesman" treatment scare mongering at its best. Be very aware and careful before falling for their lies and conman approach, preying on people that don't know... Shame on you terminix. Suffice to say I will be cancelling my monthly service. Do not use this company, they just want your money and will lie and exaggerate issues, then when you find out "tough luck, you signed you pay" I run my own business, if I ran it like this I would not be in business long. I was bullied, and scared into signing up and I have nowhere to turn to..out $1970 for a job that took about 15-20 minutes...I wish I could have left zero stars

$1500 and I didn't even have termites to begin with. CUT AND PASTED FROM THIER WEBSITE CHAT ME-Cancel my service. -Hello, I'm sorry to hear that ... My name is Brandy ... Could you please verify your full name...? -Hi, William! Do you mind me asking why ... cancel services...? ME -I got this service because I found a soft spot in my floors and was worried it might be termites. However, I was under the house this weekend and found that I never had termites only a bit of dry rot. Your inspector should have confirmed that in the first place. -I understand. I am very sorry for that. This is a preventative and curative termite system. (To save words, I'm redacting the sales pitch to renew at a lower rate next year). ME -That first sentence you just typed is a workaround for your inspector scamming me. However, I'm too busy for small claims court, so continue the service until the end of the month but then do not renew it. -You will need to contact us after your July 26 payment to cancel, as we do not do pre cancels. I have reversed your cancellation request at this time, to keep from charging you an ETF! If you do receive a survey via text within the next 2 business days about the cancellation request, please disregard since it has been reversed. Is there anything else I can assist you with? ME -I'm saving this message and if you charge me again after the 26th, we will go to court. I am not giving you permission to stonewall me and renew my contract. -Sir, I'm advising you of our policies and in order to NOT be charged after the 26th, you will need to contact us again. If you do not contact us again, you WILL continue to get charged. ME-I'm advising you of my policy and you better not charge me after the 26th. -Well, then you do need to call us back after the 26th! I won't continue to argue. Have a wonderful week! ME-Let me speak to your supervisor 2:39 PM The conversation has ended. I WAS DISCONNECTED.

My experience with Terminix has been a nightmare from the beginning with no visa me end in sight. The issues all begin with not being allowed to speak to anybody locally. All calls go to a center, and every operator promises they'll get the right person to call back. The call back never comes. Anyway...on the day a technician was supposed to come (3+ months ago) we waited 2 hours past promised window + had made arrangements to vacate the house for 3 hours. I called to find out what was going on and was told I had rescheduled. I HAD NOT rescheduled. The tech did without telling me. Because I couldn't speak to anyone locally I called to cancel the flea service, and the upcoming termite set up. The termite tech came out to the house anyway, and installed the bait systems. I called to cancel after I discovered it and was told there was record of my appointment cancellation, so someone would come pick up the baits, and all would be cancelled.. Guess what....? I got bills anyway followed by an auto draw of the monthly charge. This company is obviously up to no good. I have no doubt some people get decent service, but my experience is a pattern evidenced by repeated reviews to the same nature. Now I've found out Terminix was bought by Rentokill. Everyone beware of this/these companies. You are likely to fall victim to the same horrendous practices many others have. Just choose a local company you're sure to have ability to stay in contact with. You will thank me if you do.

Terminix promised me of full exclusion coverage of my house in 2017 as we had some issues with mice getting into the basement and rodent crawling sounds in the attic. I paid more than$2,000 for the full exclusion service in 2017, and have been renewing the annual contract at $200 plus yearly. They put some material in between the sidings and the exterior wall, put some mice traps inside basement but the problems persisted. We continue to hear rodent sounds in the attic until now. Finally I pointed out some entry points on the roof through the space between the eaves and overlying roof/upper row shingle. They told me that I am only covered for rodent entry spots below the roof which was never mentioned when I signed the contract. Even the current online advertisement for residential exclusion services do mention about providing services to fix attic and roof vulnerabilities but when it comes to fixing those issues, they will find a way to not fix these issues. I’m at a loss to understand how they will fix roof vulnerabilities standing on the ground! The customer care representative was quite impatient with me today when I was trying to get the services that I was told would be covered when they sold me the contract. I will be canceling my services with them as the problems I utilized their services for in 2017 still persist. When you call them with troubling pest/rodent issues, they will not be able to even schedule an appointment, let alone fix the issue, even after 48 hours. The local office managers never respond to your calls, customer care never connects you to a supervisor. Please don’t chose Terminix, sign up with your local pest control service providers if you are expecting a complete, prompt and personable service at your home.

BEWARE Panama City, FL Location! Had to call back multiple times throughout the three month period. The product does not last, we were constantly seeing something. There was always an excuse "it's the rain, it's the cold" ( No, we did not have an infestation, but we live by woods.) They specifically advertise that they provide rodent extermination/control. I had a mouse in my room and they gave me a glue trap. When I informed them that I had already tried this, he responded, "Mice are dumb." Obviously, it did not work and I had to catch the mouse by hand in a bucket. I wanted to make sure there were no rats in the garage because my dog kills them and they said there is nothing that they can do about that. (so what exactly am I paying for here?) I had several miscommunications about appointments. They changed them without notice. I asked them to come out and spray one last time before the 3 month term ended and they sprayed the inside and told me they couldn't treat the outside until the rain dried up. They came back to perform the OUTSIDE TREATMENT ONLY, and charged me for a new term of three months saying that it was a whole service performed. I have received countless bills and I called repeatedly and asked for management. It only took them 4 months to respond, only to tell me that I owe them an entire 3 months payment for the one OUTSIDE ONLY treatment they performed. Manager refused to take off the charge. -Heather C (so ya know.)

Very misleading and shady company that take advantage of customers by giving false information! I wish I would have come here first and read the reviews before trusting them in my home. I had a dry wood termite problem in several areas in my home. I called Terminix to come and evaluate and of course they said they would get rid of them for $1500. After seeing that I could not afford the $1500 they said "we know you need it and we can work with you and drop it to $900" I should have seen this as a red flag but didn't. I signed a agreement to do it in installments for 1yr and the first couple of weeks they came out 3 times because the termites would not die. Finally I had a contractor come and tear off the walls and remove the colony which also cost me an arm and a leg. I still havent paid my second payment with terminix and they refuse to cancle my payment agreement when they did nothing!! All they did was make the bugs move to different areas of my house. Stay away for Terminix!! Horrible customer service and just a shady company to deal with. Avoid them if you can.

I have had a terrible experience with Terminix. I hired Terminix because I have an infestation of pantry moth lavae. No moths have been present disincentive before I hired them! I was able to get control of that. However, there us is an infestation of the lavae from the eggs they laid. I was assured by Terminix they could be treated. I have made several calls and a technician has come to my home twice and treatment used has no effect on these things! I have called the customer service and requested a manager return my call to discuss and schedule next course of treatment, there has been no call back and it has been over a week. Customer service has put an escalation on this and still no call back wishing the last 24 hours! This is terrible service!!! And my issue I paid Terminix to take care has not been done!

Horrible Experience and I refuse to recommend them to any family members and clients. As a realtor I send out referrals for services to be a resource to help make sure the homeowner is comfortable. This company is scratched from off my list. I used their service personally for my mother and lets just say I wasted $1,500.00 and time. This company lacks morals, logic and accountability. Long story short, I should've paid myself to complete the service because thats what I ended up doing. I purchased my own products and completed a task they weren't willing to complete after making serval complaints. The managers are also liars. They'll say anything to protect themselves over doing the right thing, PLEASE Do not use them at all, it'll save you the headache. I used the Lakeland, FL Branch.

I have been paying for almost a year for a service that has not been completed with minimal phone calls and conversations with anyone in management. I have called and emailed multiple people about the situation and it still has not been resolved. They came out and sold me on an exterior protection package sealing off the house from wildlife and blown in insulation and the only thing that’s been done is the insulation and the flashing for the siding. The last time I talked to someone who said they were a manager was over a month ago. Now we have something In the attic and bees in the exterior walls. Still have not heard anything from anyone.

6/14/22 Terminix Salesman Brandon S convinced me that his company would be able to extract the bats in the walls of the upper unit on my two story rental property on 3rd street. He stated that they would have to get a lift to reach the hole in the soffit and to place a screen in the gables. I was quoted $951 plus $100 for a one year warranty and that I would be scheduled for the following week! 6/21/22 a service tech was on site with a (23 foot) ladder an sealed the lower level of the building and stated he would return with a lift. Keep in mind my complain was with bats on the upper level. The issues I have are as follows. 1. My problem with the bats was never addressed. 2. Have yet to speak with anyone from the Louisville Office. 3. Customer Care Representatives pass me around like a hot potato. 4. Was advised that a refund was due because of time lapse a incomplete service 5. Customer Care Representatives are a to reach Louisville Office, but my calls go to National. 6. This company is ether dishonest or unable to do the job and unwilling to refund my money.

I totally agree with the below reviews saying there should be a zero star option. So quick to arrive and take our money and then had to call or email to have anyone come back again, even though we had continued service! Their traps killed 3 field mice total in 6 months, their sticky traps for spiders killed more by far, which their worker had just offered us as an extra because he had them on hand. I bought old school snap traps from the dollar store and have easily killed over 30 for under $10. Clearly I wasted my money with this company, as I’ve done a better job myself. I tried to contact them, as we hadn’t seen anyone since April/May and they told me my contract ran out in July so they had no interest in helping me. Well what about May and June min? My poison traps were empty for months, I had no contact with anyone from the company during this time, and you would think you would have a final visit regardless. Customer service was absolutely horrendous when I tried to express my frustration. Including saying that their service was ‘just to maintain the population and not eradicate the problem’ umm aren’t you an extermination company?! Customer service had ZERO interest in helping me. I would NEVER suggest to use this company and in fact will happily tell everyone to actively avoid it.

Worst company EVER, they will take your money and when is a problem on they're end or a mistake on they're part they will tell you the generic script " sorry for any inconvenience but we will get back with you in 3-5 business day " , but by then is to late. There is no communication between the call center notes , branch manager/supervisor notes .They will tell you 1 thing and the next day is something else. Lost money and days off with this company whit no fault on my end but I'm paying the price. I guess branch supervisor/manager is too busy to fix the mistake or answer when your on employees call you to fix the issues right there. I doubt that I will get any answer back .

I was calling pest control companies to get a quote for their service. I called Terminix and after telling them I was interested in a quote they asked for my address. Then they said they had to switch me to another call center because I live in AZ. I said fine. The person then transferred me to the same original call center. When the person got on the phone I let them know that the transfer did not work and that I was right back where I started from. She said sorry and said she would transfer me to the right place. So, now I was on hold. After about 15 min of hold I was disconnected. If this is the way they handle calls, you would have to be crazy to work with them. So, I called back to let the call center know they failed miserably and that they should let someone know. Also, when you call in you are given options to sign up or if you are a current customer. They forgot to put in a selection for a quote. Whoever runs the call center needs to review how things are handled.

Horrible customer services, took over 7 weeks of calls to get ahold of the team that had ruined my garage door seals during installation of the exclusion service. Was told at the time of install that the doors would be repaired at a latter date, after 7 weeks of being ghosted I had aske for a refund to cover the cost that I had payed for the length of the doors so that I could purchase door seals and install them myself. No refund provided and even after proving that it was part of the service contract they did nothing but left me hanging. Gaps under garage doors due to the seals being forcibly removed do not make for very good pest control. Negates the $3500 of work. Bottom line, this company is a scam and will take your money without providing services discussed in the proposal contract. DO NOT USE!

I filled out an online request for an inspection and evaluation in April 2022, after seeing a single mouse in my house. They showed up the next day and hard pressured me into an unneeded, unwanted set of termite bait stations. I paid several thousand upfront and signed up for their 12 month contract, which they implied was required. They promised to rid my home of any rodents, including cutting a hole into my foundation, installing a door, so that they could access my crawlspace and do extensive work in there. Within a few days, someone showed up to install about 12 termite bait stations around the exterior, another employee showed up to haphazardly throw 3 cheap mouse bait stations around the interior of my home (when I already had about 20 of my own around the home), and another employee showed up to stuff a few total feet of exclusion under the siding at various points. 8 weeks later I'd heard nothing more about the extensive work on the foundation and in the crawlspace, so I rid myself of the minimal mouse issue. Now Terminix will NOT cancel my $100/month "contract." I was told by a customer service rep through their online chat that they under no circumstances cancel contracts, despite having a button to request cancelation. They rudely told me "all you people do this...you get our excellent service, we rid your home of problems, so you want to cancel and stop paying us. We don't cancel!" Now I'm getting harassed almost daily by both Terminix and their financing company, SMAC, for payments for service I NEVER received. They supplied maybe $600 worth of products and labor. They've already been paid thousands, and want to keep collecting $100 per month for a year. This company is a SCAM.

Just wanted to let people know how much a waste of time it really would be to call terminix or any other company, wasting all that money and time. If you can find a cheaper company great, but just did a little research and for those who are thinking about calling terminix for termites. You can go on Amazon, to Walmart or home Depot and get a spectracide price range 8.47 to 78.00 that'll probably better than any spectracide they have because that's all their going to use anyway, claiming it's their in house "special made" "by them" formula. I promise you try it, before they swindle you into spending sorry wasting tones of thousands dollars possible a millions. Keeping in mind they want auto pay which means having access to your money, with no guarantees. No guarantees, which is what I was told not a business person but wouldn't want someone working for my company throwing that word around. No guarantees on what, the service your providing is going to work, that's going to cost an arm and a leg. Or your not going to withdraw from my card and/or bank account when you feel like. Did I mention they want to charge your card and or bank account, before they send someone out to provide actual service. Which wasn't told to me until after the fast talking, otherwise would have told him I'm OK I'll shop around thanks.

The Terminix representative flatly lied through his teeth. He said that the treatment they were applying to my home, on 05/03/2022, would take 4-6 weeks to eliminate the termites and kill the colony. In the interim, I was assured that my wood would be unaffected. The treatment consisted of three bate stations, one in the front and two in the back of the house. These actually take 3-6 months to fix the problem. These stations should be 8-10 feet around the house; however, because this is a row house, it was not practicable and was not discussed with me. The final deception the associate promised us was that Terminix would pay any future damages caused by termites. I've since sustained damage, and the Terminix manager claims that any damage sustained within a year of the treatment is not covered. The managers name is Dan C, do not trust this company.

If you are considering Terminix as your pest control company in Pensacola FL, make sure you are on the property when the technician is scheduled to treat your property, so you will know you have been serviced. More importantly, make sure you watch the technician as he/she services your property, so you can be sure you are getting the service you will be billed. As expensive as everything is these days, don’t assume 1) the technician showed up and serviced your property and 2) if they did show up, that they did what you are paying for!! We have had Terminix “service” our property for the last 22 years, assuming we were getting serviced, only to find out that we weren’t. The invoices came just the same! When we questioned the lack of service, they canceled our contract and refused to service our property. Which means we’re getting the same service, we’re just not paying for it.

Absolute garbage service. We have a raccoon issue and got tricked by the inspector who came for an initial inspection that it was going to be guaranteed taken care of within maximum a week. It has been 3 weeks and the only method we have been offered to put a trap nearby and wait for the raccoon to fall into the trap. The exterminator Shawn said he will come every Mon to open the trap and every Fri to close the trap because they don't work on weekends and cannot have the animal die in the cage, so okay we agreed. This 3rd week, we were not at home Mon-Tues, but they open the trap on their own, so we did not need to be home, we came home on Wed to find the trap unopened. We called our guy to ask why and received the rudest response basically telling us he does not care because he has other customers and we can go speak to Terminix ourselves to try to get him to come out. It has been 3 weeks since we signed our contract. We have already requested a branch manager to reach out to us to cancel our contract and receive a full refund. I am waiting for a satisfying result right now. This is an absolute garbage company because they trick customers to signing contracts and do not fulfill their end of the agreement! All they've done so far is place a trap and open/close the trap, NOTHING else! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I would give negative stars but there is no option to do so . I am visiting a very old house handling business, think there may be a rodent problem but I don’t know . Booked with Terminix to handle, the tech gets there to treat insects which is not a problem! Poor communication with the tech not replying AND not able to treat rodents! They seemed to have sold me all services except the one I may need! I said hey, “Pizza is great but I don’t need a pizza from you or anything else but a rodent resolve. “ I don’t trust a word they say. The rep that took my card said it would not be charged until they arrived but it was charged the day before they came! I feel I could do better DIY or absolutely ANYONE ELSE!

communication is horrible. Services were either not scheduled as told or wrong. Technicians NEVER once showed up on time OR never even showed up. Visits REPEATEDLY rescheduled. Worse experience ever .. the tech sent to do my 1st treatment wasn’t even a rodent control tech he was the person who comes and do the outside maintenance treatments. When the other tech for inspection came back. He was supposed to be taking care of my attic. He never even went in the attic he just said he was going to reach out to the rental agency and speak with them about doing some expensive service I shouldn’t have to pay for. That’s fine but how do you know that’s the service needed if you NEVER looked at the problem. He was supposed to get back to me AFTER he already rescheduled my visit 3days in a row and to this day I have not heard back from him. That was over 2weeks ago.If I could get a refund for the useless 2 months I had service with this company I would get it back. You guys NEED to do way better for the amount of money you charge your customers.

I paid $224 to terminex, for assistance with carpenter bee, and wasp removal. This company does not follow up. All they care about is money. The person who was supposed to remove the bee hive, and treat around my entire home, came and left in under 5 minutes. I called the customer service number to complain, they transferred me to a voicemail. I called again, and they brushed me off and said a manager would get in contact with me. Ofcourse, they never did. It's really ashame that this company would take someone's hard earned money, and not provide professional, or thorough service. They never have to worry about me using them again. Do yourself a favor, do not use Terminex for any services. Find a company who actually cares about the services they provide, and customer satisfaction. Do your research!

First off, they scheduled my appointment on a day that they didn’t even have open. So I got a call three days later to reschedule. I was rescheduled to the following Saturday between 1-3. Saturday came and no one showed up. I called and they told me they actually scheduled it for two Saturdays out and told me the wrong Saturday. So I waited another week. I got a reminder text that my appointment was Saturday from 7AM-9AM. I had it scheduled for 1PM-3PM. I called and the guy who is doing the service called me back and said he is going to be close to my house around 8AM so he is going to stop by after that and do it since he will be close. EVEN THOUGH MY TIME WAS 1-3. He did not call and ask if it is okay or anything. He just changed it. So I ended up canceling my service before I even had my first spray. I get it something happens but you can’t just decide to come at a time that works for you but not the customer. Especially not without permission.

DO NOT USE TERMINIX FOR RODENTS!!!. I paid in advance $1,300 to have a squirrel removed from my attic and a hole patched in the soffit. The first crew came out installed a one way door (to let the squirrel out) and stuffed a bunch of steel wool in the hole. Within hours, all of the materials had fallen out and were in my driveway. After complaining, it took another week, they sent the same crew (who told me they were afraid of heights) reinstalled the same materials with the same results. Within hours it was in my driveway. Even before the second attempt failed, I asked the crew when they would be back to replace the soffit and I was told that they don't do that - they just slap some wire mesh over the hole. I'm sorry but that is not acceptable----$1,300.

It is hard for me to think of a company that has more negatively impacted my life. I have procrastinated on this review for months because the memories are so painful, but I want to warn other potential customers. We received a Terminix one-year package when we closed on our mountain home in Colorado. The home had rodents. Terminix never did a great job with the rodents, and we identified many holes the techs had missed which we patched ourselves, but that's just bad or incompetent business, not terrible business. A few days after we moved in, we discovered what looked like dead bed bugs in a semi-finished attic bedroom and throughout the house. Terminix came out, inspected the rooms, and took many dead bugs. Their "entomologist" confirmed some days later that they were indeed bed bugs. My husband and I had not been bitten yet or seen live bugs. This was a ~3300 square foot house, and Terminix wanted something like $500 per room for treatment. There were over four bedrooms scattered over different floors, and I had seen dead bugs all over. We opted to wait. We started seeing live bugs, and I ended up treating the whole house myself several times with multiple chemicals (Gentrol, Temprid, Cimexa), suspecting I would be more thorough. My husband and I barely slept, my mother delayed moving in with us until I could complete treatments, we threw out items we could no longer donate---an enormous toll on our mental health and several thousand dollars in extra rent. It took me only brief poking around a few months later to discover that the house had had a bat problem, and the semi-finished attic area had bat bugs, not bed bugs. It was extraordinarily obvious in retrospect, and multiple Terminix technicians had misidentified the bat poop in the semi-conditioned attic as rodent poop, failed to see the blood spots on the rafters near soffits, failed to check the unconditioned attic, etc. We called Terminix and begged them to come out and seal attic openings before the bats returned in spring. Terminix delayed our repeated urgent requests for over six weeks and would not arrange to visit before the bats arrived. Although Colorado does not legally protect bats during the breeding season, it's pretty horrible (and smelly) to arrange exclusions that will leave baby bats to die in the attic, so we had to wait until late summer at this point. That meant we would have another round of bat bugs to contend with. We had been hoping to rent out our home that summer and fall, so this was a major financial loss. We also had to deal with the bats themselves: one flew into our bedroom at night, and I awoke with a rash on my arm. I drove over six hours to get a rabies vaccine, costing me two working days during a busy period and hundreds of dollars for the vaccine. Without the pre-exposure series, it could have cost me tens of thousands. We set aside some vacation time in mid-August to meet with Terminix so they could do the bat exclusions. They had been to our house several times at this point and assured us they could do the exclusions. (Although they scheduled the first visit a few weeks in advance, they repeatedly refused to tell us when they could complete the second part of the exclusions, which is supposed to happen roughly a week later---the uncertainty greatly complicated our scheduling.) When they arrived for that first exclusion visit, they discovered their ladder wasn't tall enough. At this point they said we would get something of a refund. The money would have gone to the realtor who paid for it, and we don't know if Terminix followed through. We were hardly made whole. Our handyman, who likes roofs, did the exclusions easily. Aside from their gross incompetence identifying and dealing with bats and bat bugs, it is hard to overstate how difficult it was to get Terminix to return calls and commit to appointments. Fruitless painful hours. We discovered astounding, persistent communication gaps between their central customer service and the local office. Our lives would have been enormously better without them.

In August 2021, Terminix came to inspect a suspected mouse problem and we ended up having them replace our insulation and add termite traps around the house. They didn’t finish the job and they also damaged our home while they were working on our insulation. While they were in our attic, they somehow pushed a bolt from one of the cross beams through our ceiling. After they left, we called to let them know that the house was damaged and that they hadn’t done the quoted work on our basement stairs but we got the runaround from both the service technician and his supervisor. I understand many places are short staffed and supplies aren’t easy to come by so I’ve been giving them some time to get back to us but it is now January 2022, 5 months after they started this job, and we’ve waited long enough. They continue to ignore our calls and bounce us back and forth between the technician and his supervisor, never leading anywhere. It is unacceptable and unethical to not finish a contracted job much less damage a home and then ghost the client. I would expect better from a company if it was involving a $100 service and ours was unfortunately in the thousands. I would never recommend this business to anyone under any circumstances and unfortunately, after reading a bunch of other quotes, I’m not the first person this company has done this to. I highly suggest you take your business to any other company so you don’t get caught in the same situation we are in. This has been a very disappointing transaction and I truly hope this review helps other people avoid such a situation.

Well here we go. Had a slummy looking sales guy come out from Terminix and told me we had termites. He showed me a couple spots that were supposed termite "hot spots". He sold me a package of service care and told me that if I wasn't happy with the service provided that I could get a refund with no cancelation fee (all lies). He handed me a tablet with a signature line and did not go over any details with me other than treatment for termites and amount. Then I had a friend come into town that owns a pest control company. My friend said that the spots the Slum Lord Terminix guy showed me had 0 termite signs. My friend also looked at my property and said there is 0 proof of termites. I called to cancel my service agreement because the service was not needed. The manager Kevin, then told me sorry but there is nothing anyone can do and I am just screwed and have to ride the service agreement out. So here we are. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND THEN TELL YOU TO DEAL WITH IT. These people are on a whole different level of scam artists. The funny part is, I don't want my money back! I just want to be done paying a monthly premium for a service that has no value to me. Kevin I hope that the $500 I will pay you over the next 9 months for 0 product is worth a bad review on every social media. Save your time and money and call a different pest control company, these people are scam artists.

Initially they were very nice and I was impressed. However, as the years and months went by I started realizing that I was dealing with scoundrels. I've contracted Terminix to address a termite issue. After the initial treatment, I waited a few months before doing any repairs to make sure that there was no more termites in my house. When I started the repairs (replace some base boards and painting), I discover a new area where the termites had done some additional damage. Please note that I had checked the entire house before hiring contractors to do the repairs. I called Terminix immediately. They came back and they told me that they were going to re-treat the area. I am not sure they did anything, because 6 months AFTER they came back a second time, I found again new termite damage. I called Terminix to let them know that a 3rd time the termites had gone back, which was adjacent to the area that had been treated twice before. Terminix is now refusing to retreat the area, even though I'm on their maintenance contract. Terminix is an awful company. I can't cancel my contract. I keep calling them to cancel, but the main office seems to agree with me that they need to come back and retreat the area, but the local office refuses it.

COMPANY LIES! Don't believe anything they say on the phone. Had my niece sign me up for a 'free inspection'. Then my realtor and I verified everything as I was out of state and was told the same thing. Low and behold I got charged when I immediately didn't buy into their sales pitch. The truth was I didn't get the house. Then some rude lady said when I called about, it that they told me they were going to transfer service from the current owners to me with or without signing anything and charge me. Thank goodness my bank wouldn't approve my loan on that place because clearly, this company is a trap. Feel bad for whoever gets the house and gets Terminix trying to hoodwink them. I feel like their tactics are scammy so good luck if any of you want a 'free inspection'. The crappy thing was on the house we did end up getting, we were going to have it added until we got a bill from our realtor on a property we don't own. Please stay away and don't be tempted into a 'free' anything. Oh and the best part, the original scam bill emailed was $25, then it changed to $125 and when I called they said I was lucky as it wasn't $250. Funny how it was "free" then the bill kept changing. Send me to collections because I don live there. What a scam. But If by some miracle they make it right I will delete this review. If this is up, they are still scamming people with 'free inspections'. This was in Trade, TN.

I have been having Terminix service my house for the past year. Not a single time was I ever told that they were not able to get into the house when we had it rented out. My tenant moved out two weeks early and left their dog in the upstairs bedroom for two weeks with no food or water. I was called by the police about a complaint about a dog being in my house barking standing outside an open window on the second floor. I got there, and the house was INFESTED with bugs, and the dog was locked up stairs in a room. I ran up stairs and saved the dog, but called Terminix to come and bug bomb my house. I scheduled a tech to come out on that Thursday. The Supervisor called me back, and said that the tech was new and he wanted to be with the tech when he did the initial treatment. So, we scheduled it for the next coming Monday. When the tech arrived no one was with him. He walked into the house, and walked back out. TOLD MY NEIGHBOR. "I aint touching that" And never contacted me to tell me they couldn't treat it. They charged me for that visit. I tried calling the Customer Service, and they told me they would escalate this incident, and someone would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. I did not hear ANYTHING... I called back, and they told me the same thing. No one still got back to me. NOW I got a notification they were going to charge me for the monthly service. I CANCELLED my account. I will NEVER use Terminix EVER again. And you can NEVER get a person on the phone. I had to talk to someone online each time. This is a very bad place to get bug service from.

Do NOT use this company. I would give negative stars if possible. My family and I have had a terrible experience. We discovered we had bed bugs in our house and called Terminix to treat it. The tech suggested tenting and fumigation to make sure the bed bugs were completely eliminated. We agreed and he gave us an appt 3 weeks away. The day of the tenting the crew shows up and they say due to the roof being too steep they would not be doing the tenting that day. They said they would come back the next day with a crane to finish the job. They did not show up the next day nor did anyone tell me what was going on. My family and I were staying at a hotel at this point over 20 miles away. Since they didn't do the job on either day, I've tried reaching out to them to find out what's going on and the only person that has responded to me was the tech and he didn't know what was going on either. He let me know he had put in a request for them to call me but would be fired if he gave out supervisors or managers phone numbers. On the following Monday, a full 6 days after the tenting was supposed to happen the tech said he had to talked to his supervisor and they were only going to offer me a credit for the hotel and a future date of July 1st. A full 10 days away at that time and still charge me full price for the tenting and I'd still have to pay for another hotel. I have a number of animals (goats, chickens and a cockatoo) that live outside on my property and I had to go back each day to give them food and water. They offered nothing in regards to the inconvenience of having to drive 20 miles each way (there are no hotels close to my house) to get back to my house to take care of them and basically wasted 3 nights at a hotel for nothing. No tenting or fumigation and I still have bed bugs. Terminix management has made no effort to contact me directly and have made it impossible to get ahold of them.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Terminex called when my contract was up for renewal however I told them at the time I was not able to renew it. A few days later they had taken the money out of my account. I called multiple times and requested a refund. Two weeks later still no refund and when I called the service manager HUNTER he had promised me everything would be taken care of. That he got the OK to get a reimbursement of the money they took out of my account. Two weeks later I still haven’t received a check or credit to my checking account. I called again and I was told that there was a credit to the account for the money they took out. I told I didn’t understand why they would credit an account that was canceled. That’s when they told me the account and contract had not been canceled Then they said in order for me to get a refund I need to speak to the service manager. I told them I spoke with HUNTER extensively about the situation. Customer service said there was nothing they could do until I spoke with a service manager and that would have to wait until Monday if I could get through to somebody. With all of this happening Terminex said they would send somebody out to inspect the house for free because of all the problems and phone calls and aggravation I’ve been going through. That has not been done. I am still waiting for a credit of over 200 dollars with no guarantee of getting it. Also to add to this during the contract last year they came to ‘inspect’ and told me everything was fine however upon looking into the eaves we found a hornet’s nest. We bought long distance spray to kill them ourselves which was difficult since it was second story eave above the window I know this is a long winded review however I just want people to understand what goes on behind the scenes that when things do go wrong they don’t make any effort to make it right. I have spoken with at least seven people which is completely unnecessary. Be careful when signing up and do not have automatic payments taken out. Do not let them keep your credit card or checking account number on file. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and hopefully this review will give people some insight on when there is something not right, that you struggle to get help.

I called Terminix because I had a squirrel infestation in my attic. The salesman showed up and assured me they would take care of the problem. He also suggested I replace the my attic insulation as a measure to cleanup the contamination left by years of rodent excrement. I agreed, and they showed up immediately to replace the attic insulation, and I assumed to take care of the primary problem.....squirrels. After@ 8 months, and numerous phone calls, followed by another visit they still have not eliminated the real reason I called them...squirrels. I have now paid @ $5000 to deal with this problem, and it still is not fixed. My new insulation more than likely contaminated again, and there is not end in sight. Save your money, and aggravation and call someone else.

Buyer's remorse. We had Terminix service our property in the Lehigh Valley area (Allentown, PA). The technicians were great and the pests were under control. Customer Service Reps on the phone were wonderful as well. However, if you need to cancel your contract and get a refund, it's brutal. It's taken 4 months to get our refund. The branch manager was nice in the beginning and then never followed up. I thought a complaint through the BBB would help things along. Nope. Terminix and the branch manager dragged their feet for two months after the complaint was filed. It wasn't until I said I was going to contact the CEO of Terminix that a check was cut the very next day. Too late. I had already left the CEO a voicemail at the corporate office. He had two very nice women call me and within 24 hours the two refund issues we were having were resolved. Moral of the story: When you've been nice and tried everything to resolve your issues, file a complaint with the BBB. If that doesn't move things along then call or write the the CEO of the company. It's unfortunate to have to do this, but it does get results.

My husband and I signed a contract with Terminix, on 2/26/20. The contract was for termite treatment, and the amount was $1,052. We were advised, by the Sales rep-Joe Hampton, that we could make installments of $99 until the balance was paid, and that we would need to pay $99 down that day to cover February's payment. We paid $99 on 02/26/20, and our credit card was charged $99 from 03/20-01/21. I called Terminix on 1/25/21 to inquire why we were still being charged, and to request a refund for the difference of $136. We made 12 payments of $99. The agent, Vanessa advised me that he wasn't sure but the payment that was drafted on 1/26/21 would be our last payment. I informed her that I would like to speak to the Service Rep for a further explanation. No one called. I called back again to request a callback. On 1/27/21, Chris called me and explained that the $99 that we paid on 2/26/20 was for materials and wasn't applied towards our balance. I explained to him that wasn't what our sales rep advised us or Vanessa. He informed me that Vanessa should've known this and that I still had 1 more month to make a $63 payment, and if I didn't pay it he would send me to the collection agency. I advised him that I disagreed and to cancel my account after January and remove my credit card information, which Vanessa stated that she removed on 1/26. On 1/28/21, I was scheduled to have my rent house treated. Instead, I received ab email stating that my Terminix account was canceled. I called in and got Vanessa who informed me that my account shouldn’t have been billed again for the $63.25, and that if I was charged for January, I should’ve received my treatment on 1/28/2021. My point, exactly. Not only was I charged for January, but I also didn’t receive service, and my credit card was charged $63.25 by the jerk, Chris. He was rude and sounded like an abusive person and a racist. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and disputed the charges with my credit card company. My advice to you, if you do business with this entity tape all conversations and watch your credit card. They illegally charged my card for what would’ve been a February payment, per Chris, on 1/28/21. Even though my service was canceled in January. And, they still wanted to charge me $29 per month for a warranty that I already paid $1052 for service for.

Negative 5 stars... I cannot say if their treatment plans work because I cancelled mine before they came back to start the treatment. The cost was higher than our bank allows per day. So we called the bank and requested that they increase the daily limit. They said no because haven't had the account long enough (4 months ish).. so we decided we would transfer the money half and half over two days to a PayPal card. However, the terminix rep told us they don't accept paypal cards (they must be the only place on the planet that don't) so this morning I called the local office to see what other options we may have. After I explained to the lady, and I say that loosely, what happened with the bank she replied "well maybe you should try putting some money into your account" offended by her assumption that I was trying to use money I don't have and her obvious lack of listening skills, I said there IS money in the account and she snapped then why won't it go through.? So again I explained the daily limit issue. Then she says we'll can't you just get a credit card? I said no that's not an option. And she snapped "then I don't know what to tell you. " Then she proceeded to tell me how her bank operates with her account and said "so I know they can increase that limit.. " i finally asked to speak to a manager and she says "there are no managers here. And they will tell you the same thing!" I said that's not what I want to talk to a manager about. It's about how rude youre being.. and she says "why because I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear?" At this point I was pretty upset with terminix so I told her to keep her treatment plan and I'll call orkin... This was the single rudest person I've ever encountered in a business... And I'd learn to live with the pests before id hire this company!!!!!

I have been a Terminix customer for years. In April 2020 I bought a pest exclusion for my house for around $1,000 and as of December 21, I still have pest in the house waking me up at night and running in the ceiling. I have a one-way trap installed 2 months ago that Terminix never came to remove (Needless to say that it didn't help) and never followed up on. I have been calling several times a week for the past month to get: 1. reimbursement since they cannot get the pest problem resolved for the past 9 months after coming at least 5 times to my house. 2. I have asked this issue to be escalated several times and nobody has called me back although I get promises that someone will within a day 3. someone to come remove this one-way door. Also the work has been poorly done from the beginning with Terminix employees leaving tools under my deck and spraying foams and letting it overflow all over the walls. Overall inadmissible

DO NOT TRUST!!! I paid them for a termite service as that is what they told me my problem was. The tech that came out told me he 'didn't even think I had termites', but did the traps anyway. I continued to have wood damage from ANTS. They charged me in advance for the renewal (which I didn't agree to). I had to cancel my credit card so that they would stop trying to charge me additional fees. I have been trying to cancel and get my money back from the renewal charge for 18months! They even came and got the traps when my year was up. They tell me every time that they will have someone from the 'local office' get back to me. I have not had one return call.. EVER!

Horrible. My first service was scheduled 9/11 from 10am-12pm. 12pm comes and goes and I had to reach out to customer service about 7 times. Technician finally shows up around 4pm after my entire day I took off work was wasted. I was scheduled a follow up service 10/1 with the same tech from 3pm-5pm. He never showed. Never called, nothing. I contact customer service again requesting a different technician all together who contacts the local manager and says they have scheduled me with someone else for 10/3, only for me to find out they lied and scheduled the same guy. After being more than patient I got fed up and cancelled. Their policy is to issue a refund after 30 days if you are not satisfied but the “manager” refuses to refund me. I’ll be exploring my legal options and making sure everyone knows never to hire this company.

Good: they were quick to set me up with a technician (and take my money) Bad: Everything else Worst customer service, long with times, no call back. After first visit and another repeat visit, was told same as other reviewers that i have to be patient i should expect to see more dead bugs than alive, use over the counter products, etc... When I found out they had 30 day money back guarantee I canceled the service but they never gave me my money back!!! I've been using my own products, I have Raid bottles all over my house and periodically apply ORTHO products with equal results. Services way overrated!!!

Anthony ,

If it were possible to award negative stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Also, -5 stars would not be enough to adequately document their poor customer service. Under no circumstances should you use this service. I have been lied to and jerked around by this company for a considerable amount of time. Every time I call, I get a different answer. I am in the middle of selling my home. My realtor called Terminix and found out the termite bond I had with them is not transferable. This was a shock to me. I called them and they told me that they do transfer the termite bonds. While in the process of getting this straightened out, they will not call me back. Over and over they fail to perform any sort of customer service. On another note, I also had the Sentricon system for the house. They jacked up the price considerably year after year stating some unknown study that the termite activity was increasing. I now see it for what it is. It is a money grabbing operation. They inflate their prices to get more money out of you. They also will not transfer the termite bond which causes the new house owners to spend more money to get the same bond. On top of all that, when you call their customer service, they transfer you directly to a voicemail system asking you to leave a message and they will call you back in 24 hours. Guess what, they do not. Save yourself the heartache. Utilize a reputable local company or a better national brand. If that is not possible, go to Home Depot or Lowes and get pest control solutions there and do it yourself. It would be much better in the long run.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the service provided by this company. We are 11 months into living in our newly-purchased home and we noticed we had an ant problem inside the house and mice in the attic. After doing some research, we decided to go with Terminix. I spoke with a rep on the phone and decided to go with the pest control plan with the rodent add-on, with the service being scheduled for the next day between 3pm and 5pm. The next day we had gotten to 6pm and still hadn't heard a word from the gentleman who was performing the service. I called Terminix and got nothing but automated messages. Finally just after 6, the pest control guy called, saying he would be here in 15 minutes-late without a courtesy call, but no big deal. When he shows up, he asks what he could do for us, I told him the services we requested. He then told me that he didn't do the rodent extermination, and that someone else would be calling me about that. Ok, so the rep never told me there would be two people coming. We continue to move forward with the service, a bit irritated at the lack of communication. Once he finishes with outside area, he comes back to the door and asks where I want him to spray in the house. Maybe this is a wiff on my part, but if you're exterminating pests, shouldn't the ENTIRE house be sprayed? I told him the key areas where we noticed the pests and he ONLY sprays in those areas. When he finished, he gave me his number and told me if I need him to come back just call him directly. The next morning, my wife notices that we have ants now invading our bedroom. I called the pest control guy directly and left a voice mail, then I called Terminix and got the same automated messages. I left voice mail here, expecting a return call within 24 hours, according to the automated message. This is now DAY 4. I haven't heard from the pest control guy, and I haven't heard from Terminix returning my message OR about the rodent issue that they charged me for. I am beyond upset with the poor level of service, but more so that they've charged me for a service they didn't complete and don't even have a live person I can speak to about it. At this point, I will write a review on every website I can find until they return my call and refund my money! I will not be doing business with them again.

REMOVED Woodland Hills, CA

They charged me $1500 for a service they couldn't provide, I requested my money back and they kept hanging up the phone on me. I called Terminix because I have some issues with pest and I needed a professional company for pest control. They sent a salesperson over (Troy) to give me a quote on Monday (August 10th) and I agreed and paid $1377 for pest control and $119 for anti-insects spraying all around the house. The salesperson guaranteed that I won't have any insects for 3 months and that the pest control team will service me attic and block all entrances and clean all the dead rats from there, they will block all entrances around my house to prevent rodents and animals from entering the bottom of my home and he said they will make sure every single entrance to this house will be blocked. On Thursday (August 13th) the anti-insect team showed up at my house and left within 3 minutes, I have cameras all over my house and I can easily prove my statement if needed. The same day I already had spiders and insects all over my walls, he didn't do anything! You can see that he simply walks quickly around the house pretends to spray the chemical but he actually just walks and sprays it wherever and leaves, all that in less than 3 minutes and no results what so ever. Later that day the pest-control team arrived to block all entrances and set traps for animals and rodents. That guy went to the attic and said that theres no issues there (I wen't right after and saw a dead rat and planty of rat poop everywhere), he got on the roof and said that theres nothing there either (the rodents enter the attic through the roof there is a hole there that is pretty obvious). About 25 mins later that guy left the property saying that he's done, without blocking any of the entrances around the house! I had to point them out to him and at that point I told him that it's clear that they just collect money and don't do as they promise and I requested him to leave and said that I will be asking for my money back. This company has a 30 day money back guarantee if a client isn't satisfied with the service. Well I wasn't satisfied the same day they showed up becuase both teams did nothing and basically charged me $1500 for absolutely nothing! I called terminix and spent hours over the phone they kept telling me they are providing a refund and hanging up on me eventually. I spent 30 minutes on hold then they hung up, 1.5 hours on hold then they hang up, another 20 mins and another 45 mins. I also contacted the salesperson Troy and he said he's sorry for what's happening both verbally and through text messages which I'm going to attach to this complaint. I am not satisfied with the service because this company didn't provide what they promised, and they also promised full satisfaction or money back which is another promise that they don't back up. As a brother of a lawyer, it is easy for me to file a lawsuit against this company, which I will do if I won't get my money back.

Horrible customer service. They put you on hold for 30 to 45 minutes. I used their service a couple of years ago and they were great. I recently restarted using them again and made the worst mistake ever. They were supposed to remove a wasp nests on my roof and had to schedule 5 times and they keep sending Technicians out with no ladder to get the nest. I told them to cancel my contract immediately. How can you not make notes on a service call to inform the Technician of what they need and what they need to do on the appointment. They have wasted so much of my time. I also went online to view my account and I can’t even access. HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME.

Thw worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I notice a carpenter ant problem on a Friday while doing some home construction and immediately started calling pest control services in the area. It seemed that everyone that I called connected me with Terminix. I've used Terminix in the past so I know how poor there service is, but it seemed like I didn't have a choice. The earliest appointment available was on Monday, which I scheduled. (even though most websites advertised 24 hour service) I wasn't happy that i had to stop working on my project, but I felt that it was important have the problem resolved before proceeding. On Monday morning I received a call that they couldn't make the scheduled appointment, and they might be able to fit me in within the next few days. I went back online to search for other pest control services. I tried Home Advisor and was able to find a company that was very responsive. I called and someone was at my house within two hours. He explained what he would be doing, where the problems could be coming from, and exterminted the ants with extreme prejudice. The price was literally half that of Terminix and the warranty was far longer than the 30 days Terminix offered. If you're in Vermont, and have carpenter ants, try Mangan PI. I don't work for them and have nothing to gain by referring them. Read the reviews on Terminix and know there are other companies out there that don't charge the exorbitant prices and will provide far better customer service.

I have been with Terminix for over 16 years & since moving to Ky, have had one problem after another with their Huntington office. Many no shows, no calls, no return calls, one lie after another. They have been overcharging me, they charge me for 4000 sq ft & I only have 866 sq ft. They claim to have done service & took pictures of someone else's house. I have not had a quarterly since Sept of 2020. It is the worst customer service, they could care less about their customers! They show up without an appt, but won't show up with one, after waiting all day & putting all our animals up for the day. Read the reviews, this company is going down hill fast! Buyer Beware!!!!!
