Terminex set up service for our home. It was to be today (Fri) between the hours of 8-12. We have a lot of animals and we were told to put them away from the area. They were to call 1/2 hr prior to service. We caged the animals at 8 and waited. By 11:30 we heard nothing from the company. I called and was told 'the technician had already been there'. I told her that was not true because our property is totally fenced and gated. She said 'I don't think they would lie'. Ha! all I got was lies from there out. Called again at noon and was told 'a supervisor would get back to me within a half hour'. No call. I called again at 1:10 and was continuously put on hold. 45 minutes later I speak to the supervisor who tells me she 'spoke to the area manager and she could set up a new appointment for Monday'. We have an event Saturday so Monday would be too late. Besides the heat index is over 100 and our animals have been couped up in cages for 5 hours and we have had to spray them down to keep them cool. I asked to speak to the area manager directly and was told he would call me within a half hour. An hour later he calls me and informs me that he does not service my area. What a complete waste of time. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE call Orkin or someone more reliable.

Stay away!! I would give them no stars if I could. Service is horrible. Staff is pleasant when you call, but often difficult to understand because of their accents. If you ask for service, you often have to schedule a date far in the future and frequently it is not an optimal date for you. (Once I was given only one date, one time slot as their availability!) Also, even when given a specific date, it has recently been the case that the date gets canceled or the technician does not show. This has happened many times for quarterly service or especially for any added services. Supervisors/managers are not available and when requested, do not call back (I’ve tried 4 times now!) I am now trying to cancel my service and that is not going well either...no surprise...no one is calling me back

Back in February of this year I called Terminex because I was having a big problem with paper wasps in my house. My husband is allergic to bees, when I called Terminex to set up an appointment we had already killed 25 wasps. They also had an add for a free estimate on blow in insulation that is allegedly the best against pest protection. So when I signed up for the initial treatment to rid of the wasp problem I signed up for the free inspection. I got an email confirming the time and such and that I would get a phone call when the inspectors were on the way. I was a little aggravated because I did not get a phone call that they were on there way and they just showed up to the house. The appointment was scheduled for 3pm and it was a good thing my husband was home because I had arrived back to my house at 255pm from running errands and the inspectors were already done. This turned me off a little bit but I shrugged it off because things happen. I had the inspection and the first treatment on the same day. Dean quoted us for the insulation and we scheduled it 2 weeks out. The two others that came to spray didn’t have anything for wasps. I had told them it was my concern and that was why I had them come in the first place. They called their office and told me that they would order something for the wasps and it would be in in about 2 weeks. A week and a half goes by and 2 days before the scheduled install dean called and stated they he was double booked on accident and he asked if we could reschedule. So we rescheduled for the following Friday. Wednesday before the scheduled install Dean calls me again and asked if we could reschedule for that Tuesday again because he couldn’t make that Friday work. (After he asked me to do it that day). So I told him I have to make a few calls and I will call him right back. I couldn’t get anyone to be at my house for then so I told him it would have to be for that next Friday (now 3 weeks after the initial scheduled install and 5 weeks after the initial assessment). I asked about the wasp stuff and he said that he would check into it for me. Apparently nothing had come in yet. 4 weeks after the initial spray. Once again 2 days before this 3 time reschedule appointment Dean calls me to reschedule that he has too many appointments. This time being fed up and feeling like just a number I told him if he cannot get it done on this Friday I wouldn’t be rescheduling and I would look elsewhere. He called me back and told me he could do it. I had something to do that day for 12pm and Dean made it very clear that the install would start at 9am and would be done for me to be able to get to where I needed to be for 12pm. The day of install March 29th 2019 at 10:45am came around and I had still gotten no phone call that the sprayers were on their way to install the insulation. At this point I was done. I called dean to cancel. Dean was very frustrated as you could here it in his voice, he stated that the equipment was already on the truck and the guys were about 15 minutes away. I expressed why I was upset and that I couldn’t stay for the install because I made it clear to him I needed them here for 9 because I had somewhere I had to be. He called his General Manager as soon as he got off the phone with me and maybe 2 minutes later I got a call from a Greg the general manager. I told Greg everything and that I didn’t like just being a number and not a valued customer and my appointments and time meant nothing to them. Greg promised a discount on the install, a lower quarterly price and that from now on I would just talk to him instead of Dean. As aggregated as I was I was able to get my sister in law to be here for the install so I could make my prior engagement and be done with this nightmare. I also told Greg about the wasp stuff that I have been waiting for and he assured me that the wasp stuff would be in soon and as soon as it comes in that it would be delivered. This process started in February. They finally sprayed the insulation March 29th after much hassle. May 2nd came around and I messaged Greg to ask about the wasp stuff and when they planned on coming back to spray the exterior. He said “no problem” he would check on it for me. May 9th I texted him again and said “Greg, I never heard from you”. With it being an IPhone it showed the read receipt as that day May 9th 2:59pm. A few days went by and I was so disgusted with this company I called the main line to speak with someone else. I cancelled my plan and I asked for a refund of the $200.00 initial assessment. They did nothing for me. I had an issue with wasps and they couldn’t even provide me with anything for them not even the simple traps they have at Home Depot or Lowes for $10.00. They came and set about 6 mouse traps that cost about $20.00. Worst Company for pests such poor customer service. I have told friends and anyone I hear of looking for pest extermination to NOT use Terminex, they are TERRIBLE!!!!

Terminex is absolutely terrible! While their product is satisfactory their customer service is deplorable. We had an appointment for this evening for a rep to come checkout our home for pest to se if/when service was needed. When I called I was given several time choices and confirmed 6-8 PM tomorrow, and was confirmed by the scheduler. We are an existing customer as well and I should say that I was not really surprised when no one showed up or called, as that is more the norm than the exception. One time on my annual inspection we were actually stood up 3 times with scheduled appointments with never a call or technician actually showing up. The only reason that I gave them 1 star is because zero stars was not an option. I will be calling Orkin in the morning, there is no way possible that they can be any worse!

I have ants. $600.00 later and I still have ants. Called about the 110% guarantee- it is only valid for 90 days after the last paid service-for that 1 service only-mine was on Feb 25, 2019. So happens we had so much snow, they were unable to open the gates to get into my back yard to do any service , they did not call me to book a follow up yet billed me anyway for coming out. When I called to complain, they were rude and told me they were coming out the week of June 29th for my next scheduled appointment--What appointment? To my surprise it is a revolving account, they would continue to bill me quarterly when i believed my contract was over. Hence trying to get the 110% guarantee. This company are a bunch of crooks. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Like I said, $600.00 to get rid of ants and i still have ants-unbelievable

I was told that they were gonna treat my house and yard. On March 23, 2019 when the technician showed up he didn't even knock on my door or ring the doorbell. I heard him when he drove up. I went to the door and he told me he had been knocking on my door(lied). He was only at my house for about 15-25 minutes and everything he did was outside. He told me that he was spraying for ants and other bugs so I wouldn't have anymore problems with ants. He never came inside my house and then he said I was unavailable to sign my contract.(lied again). The ants just moved from around my house to the yard. I couldn't have a Easter Egg hunt for my grandkids this time because my yard was full of ants. I got out of my car in my driveway and stepped in a ants bed. I called ya'll to come back out only to get an email that said my credit card was being charged another $97.87 to come back out and spray for the ants that you didn't kill during the first visit on March 23, 2019. So they saying we will come back for no additional charge is just another big fat lie. It's hard to reach this company by phone and if you have that much business hire some folks to answer your phone. Really PISSED OFF!

I have had Terminix pest control and your ultimate protection guarantee for going on 15 years. I became aware of the presence of rats two years ago they made it to the house in March I walked into my kitchen at night and saw a huge Norway rat sitting on top of my stove . I called Terminix the next day they told me that they couldn’t come out for 10 days so I threw a fit and someone came out and threw two poisoned sticky traps...five minutes max. That night I heard the rat stuck to the trap behind the stove...no help from Terminix. A friend helped me move out my stove, what I saw disgusted me...the whole area was covered with rat feces and urine...it urinated it’s way out of the sticky trap. The Terminix man had moved out the stove when I was in the other room , he had to have seen what was there. Bottom line I have spent over ten thousand dollars for their protection...when I needed their help I got worse than nothing...they were abusive, to quote the branch manager What do you want me to do about it? So I was left to clean the rat urine and feces from underneath my stove the smell was still in my house and so I opened the vent under my dishwasher which was also filled with rat urine and feces. Here I am I’m 70 years old I’m on my hands and knees on the tile in my kitchen cleaning with my face on the floor to clean up the rat urine and feces what did these people give me for $10,000 aside from grief and disease ? Currently I’m having my blood tested for rat born illnesses stay as far away from these people as you can they are dishonorable. As my husband would say you are what you do not what you say they talk big but they don’t do anything . All their protection is ,is a promise that they don’t keep.

This is only for the West Palm Beach, Florida office, not the company as a whole. A company that's been around as long as they have is doing something right. Sadly, my local branch seems totally discordant with the overall image of the corporation. Here's my story. I signed a contract last year (April) to control subterranean termites. They came out on time and performed the service as contracted. No problem. In late February I received the annual renewal agreement, which I paid on time. Again, no problem. I received an unsolicited email from Terminix informing me that I had an appointment schedule on Tuesday, March 19 between 1-3 pm. This was a good time for us (wife and I) so we kept it and was there for it. No call, no show. Big problem. At least call to let us know the appointment can't be kept so we don't sit around waiting for you. Reschedule for today, April 2, between 3-5pm. Re-confirmed the appoint on 3/31. It's still set. Called again today, around noon, to find there is no longer an appointment. No call to let us know of it being dropped. Bigger problem. Talk to a customer service rep. She assured me that the branch would contact me within 24 hours. I'm not holding my breath. Local branch doesn't seem too concerned about keeping appointments or calling. Maybe, your branch is better, but my branch this very poor.

Terminix strikes again. I cancelled my service in January. A few days later they sent a tech out to spray my house. I cancelled my service again thinking I had not given them enough notice since they only came a few days later. I got an email last week saying they would be at my house on the 29th....my OLD house, mind you, since I moved two days after they last sprayed my house in January (why I cancelled in the first place). I called them immediately, sat on hold for over 30 minutes, and cancelled my service a third time. I got an email again today saying they would come out next week to spray my house. I signed online and spoke with the chat tech in order that I would have an emailed record of the conversation. Halfway through discussing the matter, after two short, terse responses from the tech, the tech dropped off and stopped responding at all. Prior to this specific issue I had terminix for 2 years. Every. Single. Time. They came to spray I would have to call them back out no less than a few weeks later due to them doing a completely inadequate job in the first place. If they even did anything at all the first time. Please learn from my mistakes and use ANY OTHER company to service your home.

They don't deserve any stars! The sales rep lied to us about the service we were buying. Paid up front $5800 (crazy!! I know!) but we were desperate to get rid of the rats in the house we just bought. Months later, we still have rats. Terminix NEVER completed the list of work we commissioned them to do. They said they'd be back with ladders to do some work on the roof and never showed up... haven't seen them since. We are very unhappy and feel like we were scammed big time. Stay away from this company and NEVER pay people upfront! Lesson learned. Oh, and if you call to complain they will not return your phone calls, and they do not issue refunds. SCAMMERS.

Called the 1-800 number to initiate a contract with them due to problem with spider crickets in my house. When someone from the local branch arrived, he inspected my house, and tried to spray the basement with broken equipment. When my husband called the technician out on this, and told the technician that whatever he was spraying was not coming out of his equipment, he admitted his equipment was broken. We requested that he go back to his office and get equipment that’s in working condition and he stated that he couldn’t, and that we would have to reschedule the appointment- earliest they would give us was an appointment 5 days out. I told them this was unacceptable, as we waited around all day for them to come, as they gave us a time frame, and that we couldn’t rearrange our work schedules again. After calling the office manager to complain, they agreed to send another technician over to spray in the house. However, when the second technician finally arrived, his equywas broken as well. I called the 1-800 number to complain, and the customer service agent, Caleb, was very rude and told me that ‘life happens’. Very bad experience, especially as a new customer. I promptly cancelled my contract, and told them they better refund me the initial payment. I will NOT be doing business with them.

We got bedbug treatment done from them 6 months back. But they were never able to help us get rid of them. They treated our place 4 times over a period. Everytime they had different reasons for failing. Every time they had different requirements (1st without any specific requirements, 2nd - throw away your beds, 3rd - remove carpet, 4th remove carpet, and now they are telling to remove the wooden frame below carpet which no vendor does. not even the carpet company. And now we have again to pay almost $2000 to other vendor for treatment to get done. Because this people are not able to do the treatment till now and now they even refuse to do it. And they don't even refund for not being able to solve the problem. Please don't go with them. It is complete waste of money as well as time because every time you spend time preparing for treatment and also following up with them. I wish I could give them negative star rating which would take away their average rating. Even the manager over there is so rude and doesn't have any sense to talk. We spent too much time and energy before we finally give up on them now. I would really suggest you all to find another vendor who at least has sense of talking and understanding problem rather than just avoiding it.

This is probably the worse experience I've ever had. We agreed (with their salesman at the door) to pay by cash at the end of each service, but unfortunately, what their "salesman" promised at the door wasn't RECORDED onto their system. That's ok...but you failed to deliver what you promised: only showed up twice a year (supposed to be 4), the rest 2, you said you sprayed outside and left, didn't knock on the door or anything because you ASSUMED everything is "perfect", so no interior spray required, well.. how am I suppose to pay your service when you don't even let us know you're here? The worse part is that I just spoke on the phone with their "customer service", long story short, she wants her technician to get paid first then do the job that you promised to make up for us, but we want to see them do the job first then happy to pay them at the end with full amount. I requested to speak to their supervisor/manager, she said "sorry we don't have any manager, I AM the manager," then 20m later finally told me "my manager isn't around at this time" and hang up on me at the end of the call. Good job Terminix, You have totally disappointed me and my family. Hope you take some time reflect and train your staff with proper "system" and attitude towards your customers.

Stay away from this company. I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. There is a huge disconnect between the call center and the local office. The local number rings once and disconnects. They never come when they say they will and leave the consumer waiting around. We had a wildlife exclusion contract when we found out we had squirrels in our chimney. Three guys came out to tell me how to take care of them myself! I called the main number to say that that wasn't what I had paid for and they finally sent someone who grumbled about having to take care of it the whole time. Today I have spent another afternoon waiting around for them not to come. I give up. I will never contact them again for anything and go with a local company next time.

I trusted them whenever they came out and did the inspections and treatments, that was my first mistake I didn't read the paperwork that they submitted saying what they used and what they did or didn't or what they. After 3 months of ants crawling up the side of my house and into bedroom, on my nightstand and into my bed . I finally read the review when he came out the third time and it said that he saw no activity of ants I called and complained yet again .They sent someone else out who found several colonies of ants I was thankful that the gentleman found them he sprayed them but now there throughout my house. It's been 2 weeks I can't get someone to come out there's phony excuses somehow after 5 years they've got the wrong phone number, they were here and knocked on the door and no one was home when somebody purposely stay home twice for them. I have a doorbell on the two main doors. I have dogs who raised Cain when someone pulls in the driveway let alone knocks on the door. The straw that broke the camel's back was when my grandson just sat down for dinner and had ants in his mashed I of course called irate. They called and said they'd see me next Tuesday.

I have had service for almost 2 years. The problem persists. Ive asked several managers about the money back guarantee. 1 manager even came to my home and gave me his personal number as the other 2 managers that said they would come out never did but hes not responding or returning calls from his personal phone either!!!... Im getting collection calls for some bill that dont even exist. No managers are taking care of anything...i keep getting told that someone will call me back from customer service reps and nobody ever calls me back. This has gone on for 2 months now. Unacceptable, unprofessional, and the collection calls have been extremely rude...especially since they are attempting to collect on a bill that dont exist.

I had to put one star because it didn’t give me an option to put less than that. This is the worst customer service if you can call this a service. We started our account with them three weeks ago, for our first initial appointment no one showed up I called several times they could not locate the person and could not locate any supervisor. The next morning someone showed up without appointment or a phone call, they start spraying around one spray here and one there didn’t cover half of the inside or the outside did not do half of the area. They were doing less than half a decent job. I contacted the office and they scheduled an appointment for someone else to come back and do the initial service, again no one showed up or call. We waited for the whole three hours window then I called, spoke to a customer service who did not know what happened and they stated they did not have a contact number for the service provider who was supposed to come to our house. Since then I did not receive a phone call or someone to do the service. I made several attempts to call and escalate this issue every time I call they assured me that the branch manager will be calling me and he will be helping to fix this issue. It has been three weeks I did not receive a phone call or a single visit from this company yet I receive emails to update my account and make payments online. I called again today spoke to a customer service who put me on hold for 45 minutes while she was trying to figure out what happened and get in touch with the branch manager or the general manager. She was able to read all the comments on my account and review how many time I did call in and even after I held for all this time I wasn’t able to speak to someone to simply cancel my account. This company and their branch in Harrisburg Does not know what customer service mean if they cannot simply return a phone call or keep any schedule appointment. I am not sure what kind of service they are providing. I already scheduled with another company and now I am waiting to make sure that the account with Terminix is canceled. From my personal experience I advise you to stay away from this company if you care about your time.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They showed up an hour early with a bad attitude. They then told me I packed my food and bottles incorrectly, even though I did it the way the sales person told me. The person, Ezequiel, then proceeded to repeatedly slam one of my glass bottles onto the table while redoing the wrapping. When I told him not to slam the glass because he might break it, he said he was leaving, all the while saying nasty things to me. He then stormed out. He was really abusive the entire time. Also, even though they were an hour early, the supervisor, Robin, repeatedly called me telling me I needed to be out of the house in 20 minutes, otherwise the company would leave, even though the sales person said I could stay the entire time the company was setting up, which was about 2 hours. This is after the salesperson, Joel, told me I had to sign a bunch of documents without reading them first. When I told him I wanted copies of the documents, he repeatedly said he would send them; but he never did. I told Terminix before they came out that I really needed the job done that day because I had to do a lot to schedule time off with my work, and now I will have to start all over agin with another company and take more time off. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.

So I've been dealing with terminix since at least 2013 with varying customer svc. I hit peak frustration, move to another company level 2017ish. And im back there now . I've not had an assigned tech since Nov 2021. Whoever they can get to fill in does the service. They actually missed a month of service. I've been promised compensation &communication since 2/22. And yet I'm never contacted or informed of service date. I try working with them so I make the calls to the call center & follow it up with calls to the service mgrs. Here's what it's like: I called Monday to find out WHEN I'm scheduled. Was told this Saturday. Ok.. explain I need certain apts serviced as well, explain what I need and since they are occupied apts I need a window of time so tenants can be prepared. I then follow up with a call to Edgar (Valencia ca office). He confirms date and will inform Tim (svc mgr) and the tech as well and I'll get a call. I wait. I follow up with a call on Wed to Tim (svc mgr) directly leave vm. I wait. And here we are at friday. So i call the call center & am told its NOT scheduled for Saturday but TODAY. No tech named or phone# to follow up with. Why am i working harder to get them to service me, a service I PAY, for when they are not trying to even keep me as a customer much less service me as CONTRACTED? Btw, I use them for not only this apt building but my residence and other rental properties. But apparently I must not generate enough business for them to care? So if you're considering terminix, ask yourself- is this the experience you want? Because it's obvious it's the experience you WILL get.

Terminix tried to trick me into canceling my policy and voiding my warranty coverage, when I refused they canceled my policy anyway. My house has been covered by the Terminix subterranean termite policy, since the spring of 2010. In the fall of 2016, when subterranean termites were found a few feet away from my front door on the front porch, I called Terminix for a treatment. Terminix told me, that due to the fact my house is on the water, they can't do any external termite treatments. I was shocked, so I asked if they had ever done any external preventative treatments during the years since 2010 while I was paying for their service. Their answer was that they hadn't because they were prevented by law from treating the outside of my house due to water being nearby. I was present during every visit Terminix made to my house since my policy started, so I know for a fact they never performed any treatment on the inside of my house either. So for all those years Terminix had never performed a treatment either inside or outside my house, I was shocked. Then I asked whether they intended to just wait until the termites got inside my house, and then they would be stuck with a major repair bill. There was quite a bit of back and forth with them for many days about this issue, on whether they would do any treatment outside my house. Finally they said they would come out and place some bait sticks around my house. The day they showed up to place bait sticks around my house, the first thing they did is place a document in front of me to sign. This was a big read flag to me, so I read the first page. Upon reading, I told them that I would never sign the document, since it would cancel my current policy providing for termite damage repairs, but that I still wanted the bait sticks. The document they insisted that I sign, was a conversion document from the policy I had with termite damage repair coverage, to one that didn't provide any damage repair coverage just external bait sticks. I was shocked that they tried trick me into signing away my warranty coverage, after termites had already been found outside my house. They didn't explain what I was being pressured to sign, they just told me to sign it immediately or the bait sticks wouldn't be deployed. When I refused to sign away my warranty rights, they refused to place bait sticks out, and simply left. Move forward to July 19, 2017 when I discovered Termites inside my house next to my front door, so thinking that I was covered by a Terminix policy, I call Terminix for service. They said that my policy had been "converted" in November of 2016. So I asked what it was "converted" to, and by whom. They said it was simply "converted" to nothing. So my policy & warranty was canceled in November of 2016 without any notice simply because I refused to voluntarily sign away my warranty. No notice was ever sent by mail, email or phone indicating that my coverage had been canceled. So bottom line is that after termites were found just outside my front door, Terminix attempted to trick me into signing a document which would've voided my warranty. When deception didn't work, they simply canceled my policy & warranty without notice. Now the termites are in my house, and Terminix only says my policy was canceled by them last November.

This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I cancelled service in early April 2017 after the technicians routinely did not show up for service and I was still having problems with the same pests I hired them a year prior to get rid of. After cancellation they withdrew $121.24 from my account for a service that never occurred AND which had been cancelled two weeks before. I contacted Terminix and they agreed it was an error and they would refund the full amount. Needless to say, they never did and I had to involve my back in a dispute. My bank attempted to contact them and they refused to respond so the dispute was resolved in my favor...fast forward 3 months and I receive ANOTHER bill for the same service! Really shady business practices and their "guarantee" is a joke! I put up with their terrible service and lack of results for a year because I had already shoveled nearly $1200 into services and I still had the same pest problem plus the added pest known as Terminix. Seriously, look elsewhere for pest control. After firing Terminix I went with a local company in Irving, TX and have never been so pleased. They show up on time, every single time, no more pest issues 2 months later (they accomplished in 30 days what Terminix couldn't in 365), they are respectful, communicative and their customer service is tremendous! What a shame that I got taken for a ride by Terminix...hopefully my experience will save some of you the same fate. I only wish I would have read the posts here before I hired them. SMH.

People here are telling the truth! If they call & tell you their tech found something while spraying outside & another tech (the scam artist "expert")) calls to check inside inside your home, hang up! They find things that don't exist, they want to be paid the FULL amount up front or use their high interest payment plan. They will not give you a written breakdown of what thy plan to do - they tell you they'll email it to you. Tell them you'll email them the check! They want to redo your insulation & charge you an outrageous amount to do so along with all the other made up things they find. They'll tell you your home won't pass inspection should you ever go to sell it if you won't let them do these things to your home. Since when is Terminix in the insulation business? They're not! They want all the money up front - thousands of dollars! They especially target retirees. The snake oil salesmen will call you uninvited, will show up at your door uninvited despite you're telling them you're not interested. Their salesmen are pathological liars who have an answer for every question. We told the slimeball to get out of our house, that he was delusional if he thinks we were going to write out a $10,000 check. We are retired for heaven's sake! We then called Terminix and told them that after using their service for spraying outside for many years, we were done with them. We've been loyal customers and don't need to be scammed. They pretended to be shocked. Right! Just read the reviews of poor preyed upon people who fell for their scam and got far less than their money's worth.

Terminix will not honor their 30 day money back guarantee. They are total liars about this whole scam. They promised all my spiders would die; they did not. They just sprayed the same stuff you can buy yourself and they sprayed around the doors and windows, just like you can do yourself. Spiders are still there. We fumigated to kill all bugs. 08/10/16 - Tech came out for initial service. 08/29/16 (9:33) - I called to cancel. The rep gave me a hard time and then finally said someone would call me in 24 hours. No one did. 08/30/16 (10:39) - I called again and was told that it hasn't been 24 hours yet even though it had been 25 hours. Still no call. They're trying t o drag it out past the 30 days. I hate these people. Do not start service. That will take all of your money whether you want them to come back or not.

No matter what, go elsewhere. The management could not care less about the quality of service at this location. We contracted Terminix to complete a crawlspace encapsulation at our home. They began the work on 4/13, which included just pulling out the old insulation, and have not been back since, its 5/26. They left 1800 square feet of insulation sitting in my backyard since 4/13. They have repeatedly told me that they are coming out the next day to pick it up, yet here it still sits. I have been leaving messages at every level of management for weeks that the city is ticketing me for the insulation and Terminix has done absolutely nothing but make promises. They consistently pass the buck and make excuses on those rare occasions when I can actually get in contact with someone. And then they have the audacity to treat me as if something is wrong with me because I am upset about the situation. I have kids and pets who I have to be concerned about getting into this insulation, and neighbors who are extremely upset about having to look at it. I have literally spent hours on the phone on hold trying to resolve this situation. It seems as if absolutely no one at Terminix cares about anything but taking your money. They may be fine for basic bug services but for anything else, please save yourself a terrible experience.

Used this company for pest control for over 25 years in 4 houses. Their service is good and we don’t have any pest issues while using their service. In house and outside check is also on time. Only one complaint is sometimes the tech come to your house without notice.

used them once as part of a home inspection. The guy was knowledgeable and he explained the process along the way but the company's marketing was annoying - hence the 3 stars. They kept pushing a 'maintenance' plan even when the house was clean. I would rather pay for something when I know there's an issue, otherwise I'll keep paying left and right for what-ifs...

I really like Terminix's support team - they focus on making sure you understand what and how they're treating in your specific situation before they do. I always felt better educated after one of their techs came through, and they always seemed to do a great job. I ended my contract after a price hike, but always felt like they did a great job.

Florida has many types of pests. Some live in your lawn some in your home. My husband and I used several companies over the years while in Florida, Terminix being one of them. We did not find Terminix to be any better than some of the mid range pest control companies but they charged a lot more. Yes, they would come back and retreat if you need them to but all the other companies we used did as well. In conclusion, for the money Terminix charges, go for a local company that charges less and does more.

We needed termite and pest control for our home. A technician came to our home, did an inspection and had my husband sign several papers. We were never given a copy of the contract or any documents regarding what we would be paying for. Nor was anything explained to us. After several months of $100 automatic withdraws from our bank account, we called to figure out why the price was so high and to cancel. Terminix would only cancel our services if we paid $500. Once our contract is up, we will be choosing a different pest control.

I’ve been using Terminix for 10 yrs now. Originally had a home owner next to us that had squatters that taken over the home and they had tons of trash in yard and home causing problem with rodents. They were great. But I have had different technicians the last 5 years that aren’t as diligent as the first one I had. To verify the tech is actually spraying completely you really need to be outside with him. Something you can’t do most times. We are thinking of finding a new service.

when we moved into our home quite a few years ago we had a back yard full of trees ad worried about termites. We were with terminix many years until the trees were all removed and we had the home checked and felt like we were safe from termites. Yearly they came and checked our home and made suggestions as to how better our chances of not having to worry about the termites. they had us take the wood out of the garage, move the extra wood piled up in a lower storage area. They were very kind and efficient and were always easy to get ahold of.

We have used Terminix in the past with a regard to bed bug infestation. Bed bugs are extremely difficult to get rid of as they can survive a very long time without food. Terminix was very helpful in setting up a plam for us to help us get rid of them. We were able to get rid of them within a few months with help from Terminix
