We used Terminix a few years ago after we found out we had the dreaded bed bugs in one of our bedrooms. They were very knowledgeable and helped us set up a monthly plan to get rid of them. Once we started the plan with them we were able to get rid of them within a few months.

We had a package with Terminix for a couple summers for pest control. The service was good and the price was reasonable. I would recommend them to others because of the results we saw from their pest control service. Nice technicians and very on time.

Terminix was our pest control service for a few years and were didn't have any issues. They always called to schedule a time to come by. They were in and out pretty quick. Eventually we canceled our service when we decided to cut back some expenses. The cancellation process was relatively simple.

In Texas we have a lot of bugs. After we hired Terminix, we rarely ever saw bugs, and if we did, they were dead. They were friendly and always willing to help if we ever noticed problem areas. They were fantastic!

DO NOT USE This company. The customer service is terrible. I was scheduled for a Friday, got a call on Thursday saying it needed moved to Saturday between 8-10. The time came and went with no call and no one showing up. I called customer service, one rep lied, and hung up on me. Called back and was refused access to a manager. Called to cancel after taking my business to Orkin, they didn't even bother asking why I was cancelling. Do not waste your time with this failing Company.

The cost is steep, they schedule apps then tell you the day before (if you're doing this for a rental, one day's notice is unacceptable), their communicating is terrible, & they don't tell you that the seething is auto-renew unless you call & cancel. Customer service needs serious people skills, especially when the customer is pissed off. I will never use them again.

I've been trying to cancel my terminix contract because I cannot afford the $113 a month I keep getting the runaround from this company someone said they would call me and they never did nor can I afford a cancellation fee my technician is superb I have no problem with the technician that has come out to the house he's very professional and very friendly the problem I'm having is with customer service my house payment went up so I'm in financial difficulties I hope this gets to the right person and they can call me back right away to discuss this matter

I would choose almost ANYONE else. They are one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever worked with. Every part of their company is disjointed and chaotic, from scheduling to customer service (and for them, I use that term loosely), to billing. It’s like dealing with frick and frack and no one knows what the hell is going on. Terrible people, terrible service, terrible company.

If there was a way to leave a review lower than 1 star, I would be all over it. This is the most frustrating customer service I’ve ever experienced. I paid a fortune for Terminex to do an “exclusion” on our home. We’ve had squirrels climb through the roof and get into our stove vent. I’ve contacted Terminex countless times and they only offer empty promises. Nobody ever follows up and nothing has been done to correct the issue. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. They are great at taking your money, but don’t expect anything good here.

Disappointing experience considering this is a company who guarantees their work. They were not punctual. Sent unprofessional technicians to my home. Service was ineffective and overpriced. Ended up canceling services after a few months and going with another company who was able to take care of my pest control needs within a few visits and half the price.

I give them a because I cannot give them a zero they are not liable they go back into work all they are is to take your money services are so bad we have more cockroach than before and More alive and I still haven't have the whole month they will not do things for free even if you're not satisfied they came to spit and they recommend to come sooner in the month but when we call to make the appointment they want to charge us again so it's not true that it's free I will never recommend them bad experience

Technician seemed rushed and kept saying “time is a factor”. I wasn’t sure if my prob was bed bugs or fleas and he focused more on the bed bugs. Then he wanted to look for mice in my kitchen which didn’t make sense. I live in a small space with 2 cats. It just seemed that he wanted to upsell and didn’t really care much . He left with no answers. He just didn’t really care about helping me. It was obvious. It was like I was bothering him because I didn’t have a huge infestation of something.

I have the premium package plan with this company (that cost a lot) and they should treat my termite problem (that they should prevent, as contract) on the plan that I paid, but they never treat or contact you back to schedule the treatment! The technician (Ryan) came here for an year inspection and found the problem, recommended a tent treatment and said that his manager (Josh) was going to contact me... have been 2 months plus since that. Worst customer service ever and I have termites flying into my room without any support from this company!

We have attempted to contact our local Terminex person. We subscribed to a quarterly plan, but have some dead rats & a mouse present in our crawlspace. We cancelled our plan with Terminex, but wish to recover our monies paid for service & treatment. Obvious the Terminix guy wasn't doing his job with 5 dead Rats and a dead mouse in our crawlspace. Not one customer service person attempted to give my wife or me a call. We hired another outfit to clean rodents & droppings. Over 6k later, we still have no call back from Terminix. Very poor customer service & follow up in Sammamish, WA.

They came to my house once. They were supposed to treat for bugs and do the craw basement space for it. They never showed up to the appointments and changed it where it worked for them not me. I was charged any way and when I called they said no we went to your house twice. Nope just the one time and things were not taking care of. And when I called they seem to be clueless yet again. Customer was quick to put me on hold for over 5 min.

Unprofessional. Not on time. Will schedule you between certain hours and not show up. No courtesy calls to inform customers that tech is running behind. You will sit and wait an entire day for these people and they are very inconsiderate of customers time. They have been here 6 times and I still have rats in my attic. Still have swarms of wasps and hornets. I do not recommend this company they are so large that they don’t care about their customers unfortunately. Very disappointed with their service.

Terminix had no problem to send their "salesperson" within 48hrs. They charge your credit card $1,200 and "promise" 1 year service. But then their pest control guys don't show up for the service call - twice now !!. John in RI tells me to wait for him on a Friday and on a second occasion on a Monday between 1-5pm.....I had taken time out of work....and he did not bother to show up. I won't recommend this company !!

I would give negative stars if I could. Worst. Service. Ever! Every time you call expect to be on hold for over an hour. No exaggeration. 60 minutes minimum. There is no way to call a local office. There is no option to leave a message or to leave your # and schedule a call back. Nope. You just wait on hold. We just sold our house and I waited over an hour to be able to tell them and then they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to transfer my service to our new home. LOL. Stick with a local company unless you want to spend your time on hold.

These people are scammers, liars and unprofessional, a shame that a company like this is misleading the public. It is the worst service I have ever hired. With lies they impose contracts on someone who did not ask and then make them pay bills for a service that does not work, about 6 times they came to my house for a cockroach problem and they never solved it, but what they are good for is fo the bills. The customer service by phone is even worse, they take more than an hour to answer and sometimes they simply block the call after the waiting hour. NEVER hire these scammers

Run! Their products don't work, and they steal from their customers! I had them come out, when I tried to cancel the service because it didn't work, they said that I had to have two attempts in order to get my money back. They came out the second time and still nothing. Had McCoy Pest Control come out, and the problem was resolved. So not only did they take my money, for a service that didn't work, I had to turn around and pay someone else. Not to mention the first person that came out was very rude and unprofessional!

If I could give 'no stars', I would. They come to your house when you are in need and talk a big game. Once you pay them an enormous 'up front' sum for a 2 year 'on demand' contract, they do initial service and then never respond to follow up requests. It's basically a scam! It would be better to just pay a more reasonable ongoing monthly service (to someone other than Terminix) who is at least held to task for the work they are paid for. The 'pay up front' and 'never show up again' scheme is true fraud!

I'm not happy at all with my service. I feel like the technician did not treat our home correctly and did not return on the follow up appointment. I tried to make contact with him several times and left messages asking for a return call. I had to call Terminix itself to find out what the problem was and request another technician because I'm paying for a service and at the moment it's not a reliable one. Today was the next appointment and no one has shown up. This is ridiculous.

I had a bedbug problem the Terminix tech came and recommended the Heat treatment which they guarantee to eliminate the problem. That was not the case! That same night after the treatment I found bed bugs still alive and still feeding off me. I was trying to get a hold of them and no answer so I called and cancelled the contract and requested a refund just like they advertised on their website. Well that’s not the case they still charged me 1500 dollars and refused to refund the money for a treatment that didn’t work.

Absolutely poor customer service. Made an appointment no one called no one showed. When I called they put me on hold and after 3 minutes they hung up on me and didn’t call back. I took off work for my appointment and it was a no call no show. Absolute a horrible company and you’ll waste your time. Use someone else please trust me. Orkin showed up same day an hour after I called and were professional and kind. Again don’t waste your time with a joke of a company Terminix!!!!! Feel free to contact me and I’ll tell you the truth again.

I lived a nightmare. I signed a contract that my billing will be every 3 month and the visit too. I will move to an apartment and I cancel the service. But they already charged my the money 3 week before the services come because one tech come and did the services outside and i did know nothing because he never contact me. He just took my money. What company is. Now I have a week waiting for a manager and nobody contact me.

Horrible experience. Prior company insight was great, but were bought by terminex. Terminex was poor from the start. They never showed up when scheduled and could not follow the simplest of instuctions. For almost 2 months and 4 different calls made to this company could not get me the 3 small inside ant traps that I requested . I finally gave up and cancelled my contract with them. Strongly advise to avoid using this company, does let the name fool you, you'll regret it.

They don't even deserve the one star. Was told that I had to pay $300 down and then pay $60 every 3 months. Received a letter in the mail 2 weeks later that I was approved for a LOAN!! to pay for services that totaled $900. Beyond furious! I have been filing complaints Since Jan. 2nd, 2020. That's not including the $109 they tried to get me for but I canceled. They are fraudulent and deceptive.

We have been a customer for over 10 years with Terminex, but cancelled due to the company not coming for a service appointment, not calling to let us know and since the inception of this not responding to my calls about their billing, etc. A lot of the calls are taken offshore. Absolutely the worst, waste of time with no customer service or follow through whatsoever.

Beware. If you have “protection termite policy “ with Terminex. They will find any way to get rid of you, including errors made in their accounting department, if they ever return your calls. We are both seniors. Our son took over the payment to Terminex That worked fine for a year, it the next year, they credited both payments to his other house and cancelled ours without notice. They will not renew protection even though they are the ones that made the error. The service technicians are fine men. Too bad they have to work for Terminex. If I could give them no stars, I would.

They do not honor what they print and advertise: "If a customer is not completely satisfied within 30 days of an inspection or treatment, Terminix has a money-back guarantee and will refund the treatment charges and cancel the current service plan." When I called the 1-800 number within that 30 days to cancel the policy and asked for the refund, they said they would cancel the policy but a manager from the local office would have to call me about a the refund. Even after I read that exact statement from their contract to them. I want hold my breath waiting for that call.

Very frustrated and disappointed in how this worked out. Wow! When I decided to report them to the Better Business Bureau, I had no idea there were SO MANY complaints that were precisely the same as mine. Customer service is a joke. The only one I’ve been able to get to listen to me was the man who had come to evaluate my house. He was very nice and kept calling his manager. The manager kept telling him he would call me right away, but I never got a call from ANYONE. I have reported them to the BBB and encourage everyone to do the same. It’s very simple and easy.

Buyer beware...the Call Center promised a prorated refund for the renewal of my deceased father's house which was going to be a quick sale...guess what...house sold - new owner is going to use another company and no prorated refund due to the branch manager saying he was not going to allow. If I could give zero stars I would!!! 2 days i waited from 1-3pm and was told to still wait and no show both days no call to explain why just that the technician will not answer. Waste of my time and energy. Waiter 6 days from the first call to have it inspected and no one shows. We have wasps in our attic and just bought the house less then 30 days ago. 2 small kids and the wasp are starting to come to the first floor of our home. So still have a problem and needed to call elsewhere for help. DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOU TIME OR MONEY

I paid $2,500+ upfront for a pest control (termite) plan. I CANCELLED the plan the NEXT day. It was my understanding that the payment would NOT be submitted through my bank until the work was completed. It has been almost 4 weeks and I still have no refund. The OSP that initially helped me is trying her best to get my money refunded but she can only do so much.

Worst, most fragmented communication throughout the entire 1 year contract. Signed up for interior treatments, entire year they had me down for exterior only. Never telling me when they were coming. Would not finish out the contract with inspections but continue to come for exterior treatments unannounced oh, can't get them to stop! Won't stop sending the bills! Always transferring me to a department that doesn't answer. Like babysitting a bunch of toddlers!

Terminix came out to inspect a house I was selling, The inspector, said he didn't find any terminates, but put on the recommendations, that the house need treated. I talk to the inspector and he said" that it is the company policy that if the inspector doesn't see any terminates, or evidence of the house being on any program for terminates, they check the box for recommendation to have it treated. Even with no evidence of terminates. I am so glad that when I go to my Dr. he doesn't say, where there is no evidence you have cancer, but I recommend chemo any way. SCRAM!!! SCRAM!!!

It's like having to babysit a bunch of two-year-olds. Worst fragmented communication ever. I never knew when they were coming. My service request was for interior extermination, always scheduled for exterior only every single time. Continuous cancellations and did not stop my 1 year contract voluntarily. I'm still trying to get them to stop coming.they can't even get rid of blowflies in the basement.

Very shoddy customer service. Terminix was supposed to service my home today from 3 to 5. I left work early and no one showed. I called and they said technician called out and my appointment was changed to tomorrow. Now I have to leave work early TWO days in a row. They claim they tried to call me but the number didn't work. Appears they never updated the phone number I gave them.

Horrible service. I was outsourced to the Philippines 3 x last week. Finally , spoke to the office manger today and couldn't offer me an additional appt until August 10. When I told her I babysit for my 9 mom old granddaughter and after the initial extermination , I am seeing ants everywhere including on the baby. She said" nottin, I can do about that, don't listen to anybody from the Philippines", we are changing over our phone system. Was she serious??? I cancelled my contract right then and there . Terminix is horrible. We have been after them for 8 months to come and perform the minimum service for our contract. In the last 2 weeks we have had 3 appointments scheduled and they have missed all 3. The customer service line is horrible. They do nothing for the customer and offer weak platitudes to try to smooth over the anger I am feeling by their lack of service and commitment. I would never recommend them to anyone. Horrible company it is hard for me to imagine how they are still operating if this is their normal MO.

I was charged the full amount after the first treatment and have called 4 times trying to get a refund and still no refund. I have had terminex for years but lately have been extremely disappointed. Had carpenter ants inside the house. They recommended just spraying outside and calling back if I continue to have problems. Well I still have problems and everytime I call i have to wait over 15 min to talk to a representative. Then they tell me they can’t make an appointment and someone will call me back which never happens!! What happened to the guarantee that i’m Paying for?

On Jult 1(Monday) I called because of small black ants inside. They advised scheduling would contact me with in 48 hours. July 3 (48 hours later) I called and they had no idea, They attempted to contact the local office and failed. They said I would be contacted that day. July 5, I called and after too much time on the phone, they said the soonest appointment would be July 16. It's now July 10 and I a=m checking on other services before I'm helplessly invaded.

I have experienced all of following, some of them multiple times: Agent doesn't show up for service, and I have to call and reschedule. Agent doesn't show up for service, and claims that he did. Agent shows up, sits in his car for 15 minutes, and leaves. He then claims to have preformed the service. Agent shows up, performs services, but doesn't perform the services listed in my profile. Customer service rep. refuses to connect me to a supervisor. Customer service refuses to reschedule a service after technician doesn't show up. I was billed for services that were no performed.
