I would given a date of 10/16/2024 from 1-5 for my appointment. I confirmed several times and they stated they would be here but never called to cancel or come at all. I told them this was my only day off to do things, I work every day from 12 hours per day. 0 Stars. They were no call no show then sent a letter stating they would come out tomorrow and I cannot be off tomorrow. They make you sign a contract then don't show in hopes they get paid for nothing by cancelling. This is why I don't like contracts, it only protects the company. They are very unprofessional to do this to me. A whole day wasted and now I am stuck in a contract with a 249.00 cancellation fee. I need them to come inside and cannot afford to take a day off. Scam. This only makes you do five stars.

Great company, great customer service. They come out when they say they will, and will do additional services if required. All the techs are knowledgeable and absolutely helpful in identifying issues. Even in the south their product and frequency of treatment keep the bugs away. The biggest issue I had was mosquitos, by the second treatment I did not have any trouble with them.

RIDD has been very responsive, professional, and efficient. Don H has been our favorite technician. He communicates clearly and helps to educate us on our pest concerns. Don is always genuine and hardworking. He listens and addresses all the problem areas. Other technicians have also been amazing - most recently Shawn helped us out and made me feel less embarrassed of my fear of wasps. There have been times things have been missed or the service didn’t seem to work as well. Customer service is really good when I had issues with a payment on my account, they got it squared away. The only thing I would say I don’t like is I get notified the day before that they are coming and I’m just a person likes to know much more in advance and also what time they plan on being there since I am a busy person. I do also wish it was less since they do every other month and I know they charge the month in between just in case they need to come but I’d rather not be charged unless I do call.

Giving 5 star because until recently I was very happy with my services. I had one technician that was just taking photos to take photos. I could see it on my ring camera! He got equipment out of his truck and held it up for a photo and then out it back! The customer service did fix the situation by sending another one out and he did a thorough job! I do think the uniform could be updated. The brown shirt makes it hard to see the RIDD logo so I wasn’t even sure who was at my door initially!

Ridd has done a great job since we contracted them last year. Sean is a phenomenal exterminator and I was so happy to hear that he was promoted to management. We will miss him. However, Sammy came this month and did some great recommendations and great work. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they missed a month and charged me anyway. I had to call to find out what was going on. They did refund my money and sent Sammy out within 3 days. So, I would have appreciated communication that Sean has moved on and no one was coming that month but they rectified it immediately after I called.

I’ve had this service for a few years now. Was with Orkin before and they never full gave us the service we requested. RIDD came by and I said what they hell I’ll try them out. I kept Orkin until I saw what they could do. I ended up dropping Orkin (they were not pleased) and kept RIDD. Never been happier. They are responsive and if a problem arises they are quick to come by and take care of it. Thanks so much for all of your support to RIDD. Hope this helps anybody in choosing between pest control options.

Horrible dishonest and unethical company. They came to our house and the service mgr Clive was extremely deceiving . Sold us the services after speaking to us for 45 mins. He begged us to give them a chance. He personally verbally told my husband and I that they would service us every other month and the cost was $70. Never once did he explain that the charges are on a monthly bases. After standing outside with the service member for over 45 min we decided to give them a try based off what he said. We then signed a contract from our phones (which of course no one reads those let’s be honest) then he had my husband watch a 1 min video of what to expect. After the first service we still saw many ant hills in our yard. Then when I knew we were up for services again I had to personally reach out to the manager to get serviced even though they had already charged us. It took them a week to even come out. Then during the 4 month I noticed the monthly charged and spoke to the account mgr Jared at the Destin location. I explained to him we were told one thing and now seeing that they charge every month. We feel this is highly unethical and dishonest. He went in to tell me that they have the videos of my husband watching a 1 min video at the end which explained everything. And he explained that they are fully transparent which is a bold faced lie! If they had been transparent he Clive would have told us that upfront. Instead they slide it in their at the end when you’ve already spent almost an hour with them. This company is fully aware of what they are doing and on our local community page there’s over 150 comments about this company harassing people in the neighborhood as well. Instead of leading with integrity and taking into any consideration of the costumer they would rather be dishonest and unethical by conning you into a contract. The contract then costs $250 to cancel. It’s nice to know that in times like these companies like this choose to practice business in this manner.

The subscription that you were signed up on was the pest 6 subscription. Meaning that service is automatically provided bimonthly. We do have customers sign contracts and complete the welcome call in an effort to be as transparent as possible when trying to help our customers understand the terms of service. Both of those tools list that the billing is monthly and that service would be bimonthly. They also mention that if a customer would like to cancel early, there is an early cancelation fee that would need to be paid. We can assure you that these are in place to make certain that we are being transparent when signing up a customer for service. We are sad to see you go, but wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

Really impressed with the effectiveness of the service. Work was done on a new construction home and had a crazy presence of all different types of bugs. Once the house received the initial service the amount of insects around the outside of the home was down to nearly nothing. No more grass killing insects to worry about. Ants had also made their way into the unending pre move in time and now none have been seen since. Would definitely like to add the mosquito treatment to see how effective it would be due to the wooded area we live by.

I did see an increase of dead insects outside my door which was good. However I did see an increase later and had a retreat. It did reduce the amount; however, I did not like the residue left on my floors the second time. I had my first treatment June 1, according to the contract it should be done again. I would not have thought the other was considered the regular treatment since it was July 25. Or do you start the 3 months over at that point?

Initial representation of the services was good sales rep was excellent. The technician I guess did what he was supposed to do but not to the service. I was told that they hold their technicians to an give incentives to do so for their technicians. Was told they would clear all the spiderwebs and wasp nest from under my eaves. Which wasn’t done.. product seem to work good the first couple of days afterwards I am noticing an increase of bug a spider activity after only a week from treatment service . Not to pleased about that compared to other companies I have used before RIDD . Over all so far my experience with RIDD so far has been ok no major issues but only just started with their service . No billing issues like the prior company I was using . Hopefully further down the road I will have a much better review of there services and products.

I really like the techs that come out and provide service. All have been professional and courteous. I like Ridd as a company, however we have noticed that the treatments seem to be doing less and less to mitigate pests. We have seen quite a few earwigs, spiders, flies seem to be living longer than when we first went with Ridd. In addition to this, Ridd is by far the most expensive companies doing pest control. We have neighbors with other companies who are paying as little as $30 per quarter for service, and we are charged $60 monthly. We probably will be looking at competitors once our contract is up to see if we can find a better cost company to provide our pest control.

The customer serce is great, and the techs are nice and friendly. My only complaint is I feel the pellet stuff they use for the ants, doesn't seem to last very long. When I started the service I specifically wanted them to treat for fleas and spiders and then on my second service they said they were treating for spiders and that the flea treatment was a separate charge and if I wanted it I would have to call office and add to my service plan. If I knew they were going to sell me something I wasn’t going to get or would not honor what the salesman ‘sold’ I would have not purchased service. And I couldn’t cancel early bc I would have to pay the difference that I saved starting service.

Sales rep Nathan knocked on our door although we have a no soliciting sign posted right next to our front door. Even though he showed a total lack of respect for us by completely disregarding the sign I decided to give him the time of day and listen to his pitch. He attempts to trick me into signing a contract when I requested a quote. I requested a quote for their pricing and then he handed me his phone and asked me to sign a box on screen. So I asked the sales rep why I had to sign to get a quote and he began back peddling. He had filled out our address, name, phone number email and additional information on a contract, not a quote. It became clear he was trying to lock me in a contract without me realizing it or even agreeing to it. In addition to this shady sales tactic, he directly lied to me and my wife about the safety of the chemicals they use to treat pests. He also lied and told us that they were a local business right out of Myrtle Beach when in fact they are not local at all. I looked through their reviews here as well as on google, and to be honest most of the five star reviews seem fake. If you go to their company on the Better Business Bureau you will see that they are flooded with complaints of people stating their services don't work and/or they were scammed by sales reps. Stay away for your own good.

Disappointed in service. I called mid August because I had a big ant problem that did not hold the entire 90 days. I had an appointment and then it was cancelled because the service guy had an emergency. No call was received to reschedule and when I called I was told they would be out on September 8 which was my normal scheduled date. Also, you all came out on September 8 and I complained about bees in the entire backyard and even after you treated the yard the bees are still there. The guys are always nice but the service is a problem. I most likely will not be signing another contract.
