The actual service is good I guess. I still had bugs. But the workers were really nice and polite. But I was kinda tricked at the start. The salesman told me it was a 12 month contract. And when I called to cancel at 12 months they said it’s an 18 month contract. And the guy I was talking to was polite but politely told me he wasn’t going to help me at all. But in my case RIDD didn’t come to my house for several months. And in the same contract they were suppose to arrive bi-monthly and failed to do so. I cancelled due to a breach of contract on RIDDs part. I wouldn’t recommend. Friends told me they were paying way less for pest control services. And all they do is spray stuff around windows and doors and clean Cobb webs. I don’t know what I expected but it wasn’t just simple tasks like that.

Ridd is serving us well. They keep their commitments to inspect and treat quarterly, and will come more frequently if we notice any pests. We also like that they use pesticides that are non-toxic to people and pets.

I have had monthly service with them for about 7 months now due to german cockroaches in my kitchen. They have improved but I do feel like they should have gotten rid of them completely by now. So that's my only negative thing to say, the workers are all very friendly and helpful.

I had originally written a bad review. But to be fair my review was really about the mismatch between the manner in which they bill (like clockwork) and because of weather issues there were visiting my property inconsistently. But to their credit, I found the Ridd team very willing to listen to my issues and to make things right! At the end of the day, I appreciate that in any company! And I am partly to blame for thinking I can hire any pest control company to get “rid of Mosquitoes” while living on a small pond in Florida. Both the technician and the office staff were extremely accommodating!! I just wish I could find my original post, and take it down!’ Robert in Saint Augustine!!

Rudd is new to Central Florida. Logan stopped by the house to introduce himself. We have struggled with Big Head Ants since building this home in 2015. Very few companies will cover them and very few commercial insecticides will affect them. I told them we would give them a try if they could get rid of the ants and check the attic for bees. Mason showed up to provide service that Saturday morning. Note that typically we spray and kill the steady stream of ants but they return within an hour or so. Mason introduced himself and circled the outside of home then added a few touches inside. 3 weeks later and no sign of these pests!! Service was prompt, courteous, professional. We could not ask for better. Logan later climbed up and searched attic for bees and found no sign of pests in the attic. We rate them "Absolutely Wonderful".

Treatment is due. No one has called to schedule 2nd visit - the only time someone came was in mid June. Lots of spiders inside the home, along with earwigs and Palmetto bugs. Treatment needed inside and out, as there are spiders in garage and front porch area, as well as inside the home.

Not thrilled with this company, they give a good speech but don't follow through with promises. I have had 2 services rescheduled with interestingly enough, the reason being a personal emergency. The first time I felt for the individual and hoped all was OK, but then getting a second one with the same reason leaves me to think that this is the excuse the company uses. Not very ethical to lie to your customers. In addition, I've had to do retreats and that is a hassle to get someone back out here. I will not be continuing my service with Ridd.

Never met the technician, I never know when they come, my money just keeps getting drawn from my account and even know I've had a couple different conversations with customer service, they dates off when the come are not communicated and are sporadic at best. They have treated the inside one time out of the 2 years I've had them because of the lack of communication. Thank you for this text review, it reminded me to cancel service asap

I have informed your office and every tech to be sure. and every time within 2 days they are back. my previous company ALWAYS got rid of them. I wanted to cancel the contract do to you not providing the services promised. I was treated rudely. I will not be renewing my contract

Horrible dishonest and unethical company. They came to our house and the service mgr Clive was extremely deceiving . Sold us the services after speaking to us for 45 mins. He begged us to give them a chance. He personally verbally told my husband and I that they would service us every other month and the cost was $70. Never once did he explain that the charges are on a monthly bases. After standing outside with the service member for over 45 min we decided to give them a try based off what he said. We then signed a contract from our phones (which of course no one reads those let’s be honest) then he had my husband watch a 1 min video of what to expect. After the first service we still saw many ant hills in our yard. Then when I knew we were up for services again I had to personally reach out to the manager to get serviced even though they had already charged us. It took them a week to even come out. Then during the 4 month I noticed the monthly charged and spoke to the account mgr Jared at the Destin location. I explained to him we were told one thing and now seeing that they charge every month. We feel this is highly unethical and dishonest. He went in to tell me that they have the videos of my husband watching a 1 min video at the end which explained everything. And he explained that they are fully transparent which is a bold faced lie! If they had been transparent he Clive would have told us that upfront. Instead they slide it in their at the end when you’ve already spent almost an hour with them. This company is fully aware of what they are doing and on our local community page there’s over 150 comments about this company harassing people in the neighborhood as well. Instead of leading with integrity and taking into any consideration of the costumer they would rather be dishonest and unethical by conning you into a contract. The contract then costs $250 to cancel. It’s nice to know that in times like these companies like this choose to practice business in this manner.

The subscription that you were signed up on was the pest 6 subscription. Meaning that service is automatically provided bimonthly. We do have customers sign contracts and complete the welcome call in an effort to be as transparent as possible when trying to help our customers understand the terms of service. Both of those tools list that the billing is monthly and that service would be bimonthly. They also mention that if a customer would like to cancel early, there is an early cancelation fee that would need to be paid. We can assure you that these are in place to make certain that we are being transparent when signing up a customer for service. We are sad to see you go, but wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!

Sales rep Nathan knocked on our door although we have a no soliciting sign posted right next to our front door. Even though he showed a total lack of respect for us by completely disregarding the sign I decided to give him the time of day and listen to his pitch. He attempts to trick me into signing a contract when I requested a quote. I requested a quote for their pricing and then he handed me his phone and asked me to sign a box on screen. So I asked the sales rep why I had to sign to get a quote and he began back peddling. He had filled out our address, name, phone number email and additional information on a contract, not a quote. It became clear he was trying to lock me in a contract without me realizing it or even agreeing to it. In addition to this shady sales tactic, he directly lied to me and my wife about the safety of the chemicals they use to treat pests. He also lied and told us that they were a local business right out of Myrtle Beach when in fact they are not local at all. I looked through their reviews here as well as on google, and to be honest most of the five star reviews seem fake. If you go to their company on the Better Business Bureau you will see that they are flooded with complaints of people stating their services don't work and/or they were scammed by sales reps. Stay away for your own good.

Cancelled appts and did not inform before I lost work time to be at the scheduled appt. Never got rid of my ant problem as promised when I purchased the agreement. Rep that sold the program wasn't familiar with the computer application and did not explain the additional fees. Very disappointed in the service and I can't wait until my contract is over!

I’ve had to call to schedule almost every appointment. The company has missed several months because they do not have a regular schedule. I always get an excuse. The sales person lied about what was included in the contract originally, showing us things that were part of a higher tier as included in our package. Of course that was not honored and we were stuck with a lesser package and horrible service for a year.

Customer service and scheduling are horrible. I received my first service and never heard from anyone for 3 months. When I called I was told oops we forgot about you. Then despite what the sales rep and technician said, the lady at the office said I could not schedule on a weekend ever. By the way my first service was on a Saturday….. I am the General Manager of a service company. I understand customer service, scheduling, and dispatching. This is a terrible way to conduct business and not one with longevity.

We apologize for this experience that you have had. This is not the type of service that we want to be complacent with. Yes, it is true that during the summer we sometimes have seasonal workers that work the weekends. Then, as the busy season of summer slows down, our regular service pros work the standard 9-5, Monday through Friday. If you ever need a later appointment, they will be able to stay out later and service a 5pm appointment if that helps. You also do not need to be home for service, unless the interior needs to be done or there are specific things that you would like to point out. We have you on the schedule for 9/29, please let us know if that will not work for your schedule!

We've had this service for a while now and if I'm being honest I feel like it's a rip off. We're still having an over abundance of bug activity. We're locked into a contract and can't do anything about with being dissatisfied. The price is too high for a service that doesn't work. We also feel like the sales guy laid it on really thick with the oh "a lot of your neighbors get treated on your street as well." They in fact do not. We are the only ones over here signed up for it and I can see why. Do not recommend this service.
