Based in Boca Raton, Florida, MobileHelp serves clients in all 50 states. A leading provider of PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) technology, MobileHelp has been in the business of medical monitoring services for the past decade. As an industry leader, many medical alert system providers use MobileHelp's technology in their own products.

MobileHelp offers a variety of different medical alert systems, including cellular packages as well as landline packages, giving you the option to choose which protection works best for you.

Cellular packages protect anyone at home and on the go, using cellular service through AT&T and GPS satellite tracking technology. The at-home systems are great for those who need protection primarily at home; utilizing the AT&T cellular network, this system works independently of a landline.

MobileHelp offers low monthly monitoring fees, no equipment fees, no activation fees, no long-term contracts, and a lifetime warranty on all equipment. The company's monitoring center is certified and based in the United States.

Positive MobileHelp Reviews

The majority of MobileHelp reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with most customers awarding the company 5 stars. Common feedback highlights MobileHelp's impressive customer service, quality equipment, quick response times, and overall company reliability.

MobileHelp complaints are limited, demonstrating a trustworthy company and a satisfied customer base. This provides peace of mind to potential MobileHelp customers looking to receive the best possible service; MobileHelp is clearly top-rated for a reason.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

MobileHelp offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for all customers, regardless of the plan or equipment purchased. This ensures a risk-free experience and can give customers peace of mind that they have a trial period to decide if MobileHelp is the medical alert provider for them.

$200 Visa Gift Card for Referring a Friend

MobileHelp has a referral program that awards you a $200 Visa gift card for every referral you send their way. All you have to do is tell your friend to mention your name when he/she calls to order a medical alert device through MobileHelp.

For additional verification, MobileHelp suggests calling them yourself as well to ensure you get full credit for the referral. Once your referral has been a customer for 60 days or more, MobileHelp will mail you a $200 Visa gift card.

This is a generous offering and if added to your monthly monitoring fees, could give you free service for up to 10 months. The referral money is additionally convenient because you can choose whether or not you want to put the money towards your MobileHelp bill or if you would prefer to spend the money on something else. Most medical alert companies give you credit towards your account rather than give you money you can spend any way you'd like.

Versatile Systems

MobileHelp offers simplified, but versatile medical alert systems to appeal to all types of lifestyles. All packages include a 30-day money-back guarantee, free equipment, free activation, no long-term contract, and a lifetime warranty.

Each medical alert device is also equipped with an emergency button, with two-way communication as an added precaution, that connects you to emergency responders at a certified monitoring center.

MobileHelp Classic

This in-home medical alert system is ideal for those who stay at home but want the security of a medical alert system. It is a cellular in-home medical alert system that protects you even when you don't have a landline phone.

MobileHelp Wired Home

This is a landline-based medical alert system with coverage up to 1,300 feet. No cellular signal is required since it is a landline connection hookup. The system works with a wearable alert button that can either be worn on the wrist or as a lanyard. The MobileHelp Wired Home also has a built-in speaker.

MobileHelp Touch

This system is a hand-held tablet with all the best features of the traditional medical alert system. The package includes an emergency help device as well as a cradle charger. The focus being on customization and easy-to-use features, The MobileHelp Touch has an 8-inch touchscreen display, in-home medication reminders (optional), a rotating picture gallery, cognitive games, and video-based doctor consultations.

The system is 4G LTE compatible and WiFi and Bluetooth-enabled. You can add an automatic fall button for an additional $10 per month.

MobileHelp Duo

This system doubles as an in-home medical alert system and a mobile alert system. It includes a base station that has an emergency button, a test button, a reset button, and a display of the time, date, and temperature. The system comes with one emergency alert device that includes a two-way speaker and a cradle charger. No landline is required for this system.

Mobile Duo

This is a two-for-the-price-of-one GPS medical alert system. It includes two help buttons, water repellent technology, and patented GPS technology. It can be used at home or on the go, and no landline is required since it is cellular.

MobileHelp Smart

This Samsung-powered smartwatch is GPS-enabled, easy to set up, and stylish. The watch has a built-in microphone and speaker, and you can view your local weather forecast with a built-in weather app. The MobileHelp Smart can also monitor your heart rate, calories you've burned, and steps you've walked. The package comes with a USB wireless charger that includes a LED indicator.

MobileHelp Solo

This system is an in-home cellular alert system that also protects you on the go, even when you don't have a landline. It installs in seconds and can be taken anywhere since the mobile device is small enough to fit in your pocket. The system includes a base station and an alert button with a GPS, cellular, and low battery indicator. It also comes with a cradle charger and a USB charging port.

GPS Satellite Tracking Technology

MobileHelp's focus is on GPS tracking technology. The company's Anywhere Help Button is their prized feature. Compared to some other companies in the personal emergency response niche, the Anywhere Help Button doesn't require a landline phone and can be used when taking walks, in the car, shopping, or on vacation. These alert systems will not only know who you are but where you are as well.

With this button, customers can contact help from anywhere. In the time that a cell phone 911 operator spends gathering personal information, a MobileHelp operator will have contacted the closest emergency responders and will have already explained this information to them.

Help will be on the way to the customer's current location already knowing the information they need to assist them. Once help is secured, MobileHelp's operators contact the customer's family, friends, and other loved ones.

MobileHelp Connect Tools

One feature MobileHelp offers is MobileHelp Connect® - a suite of online tools to help customers and authorized caregivers, such as family members, actively participate in monitoring the subscriber's health and well-being. MobileHelp Connect standard features are available at no extra charge and premium features are offered for an additional monthly fee.

MobileHelp's mobile GPS medical alert systems offer location services that can be accessed through MobileHelp Connect. Anyone with access to their Connect account can log in and lock in on the GPS device to locate their loved one.

MobileHelp Connect also offers system alerts that will notify you when the equipment has a low battery, is being tested or has been activated in an emergency.  Features available will vary depending on the type of system and accessories used.

Within MobileHelp Connect, there are two additional features that can be purchased for just $5 more per month: Medication Reminders and Activity Tracker. The Medication Reminder lets users (or a family member) schedule medication reminders online using the Connect portal and schedule friendly reminders to the user to take their meds every day and on time. These audio reminders come through the Cellular Base Station (included with the Classic and DUO systems).

Activity Tracking allows a user to track their daily, weekly, or monthly activity levels to ensure they are keeping an active lifestyle. This feature keeps family members aware of their loved one's condition as they live independently.

Information is graphed through the MobileHelp Connect portal to help the user (or a family member) track trends to ensure a healthy lifestyle. It is also a great feature for families of people with dementia or Alzheimer's who tend to wander off. This information is taken through the Fall Detection Pendant and is kept within the Cellular Base Station (included with the Classic and DUO systems).

MobileHelp has just released a new service called "MobileHelp Connect Premium" which provides a lifetime price guarantee, protection from replacing lost or damaged equipment, and additional discounts on added services and accessories.

Fall Detection Button

MobileHelp now offers a product called "Fall Detection Button". The Fall Detection Button is an important feature that automatically sends out an alarm if you fall and are unable to press your help button.

Fall buttons have been shown to reduce injuries and deaths since there are times when seniors fall and cannot manually summon help. The Fall Button is also compatible with both the in-home and away units to ensure safety precautions no matter where you are.

MobileHelp Cost

MobileHelp's monthly monitoring cost starts at $19.99 with no equipment or activation fees, an extremely competitive rate with added perks compared to other medical alert companies.

There is also a lifetime warranty on all equipment, and you do not have to sign a contract to use MobileHelp's medical alert services. This is on par with other top-rated medical alert companies and ensures an affordable option for consumers looking for quality and reliable medical alert services.

The Bad

  • Limited to Areas Covered by AT&T
  • Additional Fee

Limited to Areas Covered by AT&T

MobileHelp only works for those who live in areas covered by the AT&T network. Their monitoring system works with a cellular network to deliver 3G service that works both at home and while away from the home. Unfortunately, if AT&T doesn't service a specific location, MobileHelp won't work well there. The AT&T cellular network provides coverage to 97% of the continental United States, however, you should find out if the service is available in your area before purchasing MobileHelp's medical alert service.

Additional Fee

One fine print issue concerns the Mobile Help Connect feature. MobileHelp Connect is free, but there is an additional cost of $5 per 30 additional location requests. The free feature only covers up to 30 location requests per month. This only becomes an issue if the person using the medical alert device is traveling a lot and family members have to check in on them constantly; if they are, pricing can add up.

The Bottom Line

MobileHelp is a reliable medical alert company with quality customer service, equipment, and overall medical alert services, giving MobileHelp a high star rating and an extremely satisfied customer base. No phone landline is required to use the MobileHelp medical alert system.

The company is one of the leading providers of M-PERS or Mobile Personal Emergency Response System technology, servicing all 50 US states, so potential customers will have peace of mind knowing that a MobileHelp alert device is available everywhere.

MobileHelp also offers MobileHelp Connect which is a platform that helps families track their senior loved ones while using their MobileHelp system.

MobileHelp has an affordable monthly cost and the company does not charge an activation or equipment fee. The medical alert provider does not require customers to sign any long-term contracts, and there is a lifetime warranty on all equipment.

There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee, so MobileHelp is completely risk-free. You can also refer a friend for a $200 visa gift card.

It's pretty good for the value. There were a couple of technical issues with aborting an alert where it doesn't recognize my voice when attempting to abort a call to dispatch. Sometimes the red and blue lights blink on the central machine. According to the manual this would indicate a power issue but not sure from what. I can press test or unplug and replug in to get around it. There was one customer service issue I never saw any action on or heard an update about. I had ordered the product on 3/7 and the next due date is 6/7 from being on the 3 month per payment plan. But the package arrived a week late before I actually activated the system. I was trying to get the due date moved to 6/14 for that reason. First I tried sending a message through the app about this but heard nothing back. Then I spoke to someone who told me they put in a request and eventually I would see the due date change on the app. This hasn't happened though.

I bought the button for my elderly mother. The positive is that she feels much safer with it on, especially if I leave for a few hours. The negative is that too often it’s much too sensitive (gently setting it down sometimes sets it off). Other times it doesn’t go off when expected…was accidentally dropped on the hard tile floor and did not go off. For that reason, I’m a little nervous having my mom wear it when I’m not around (eyesight and hearing are not that good). I do like the fact that if it does activate, we have time to cancel the call. I also like that she can take it with her if she stays somewhere else. Overall, it’s a good product and gives us peace of mind

I have only had MobileHelp a couple of months. My opinion is that you dhokk up of not ask for a review until customers have had time to have an opinion. I got my first request during the first month. My only request is that the alert goes off at the slightest movement. I called customer service and was told it can't be adjusted. The rep was very nice and we tested it. The alarm went off when the mechanism was dropped about 4 feet. However, it goes off 2 or 3 times a day. I was doing yard work and it went off when I was stooped down pulling weeds. It never touched anything. Also, it goes off sometimes when I am watching TV and just move it to be move comfortable.

It was a very responsive service and worked well which helped give me peace of mind. I'm a more active client yet a fall risk with a toddler and big Great Dane. My kiddo and dog kept setting off the multiple devices, making it a little frustrating. For the same price per month we decided to get a smart active watch. Your company didn't have a watch option with the fall service that I needed plus there's a lot more apps that I can use and features I can use with my smart phone. Your product is simple and would work really well for a less mobilized and in need of less technology kind of client. The system still worked really well.

Mobile Help is everything I had hoped it would be. As an 81 year old widow I was searching for a device that would let me keep my independnece and make my family feel I was secure at home. It needed to be easy to use and affordable for my fixed income. It needed to be able to allow me to travel with its protection. The people at Mobile Help have been helpful and courteous. I have had only one problem. 2 weeks ago I fell. My device kept saying " Call is in progress." I was unhurt but unable to get up. My son happened to come by and got me up. He called the support team at Central Station. Mobile Help. They had no record of the call. I never heard back as to what the problem was and I just have to have faith that what was wrong was corrected,

I don't think the volume is high enough on the speakers for elderly people that are hard of hearing. The neck pendant will not hold in place. You can pull them up to the link that you want them to be and they gradually just work down all the time. I had to take my mother's in in order to keep it from getting too long on, so they need to have a little bit better band on their adjustment availability somehow differently than what it is. It seems like every time we've called or if there a question or issue they've been very courteous and they've been very prompt trying to fix it so. I tested it and it works fine, but it has gone on and off a couple times for no apparent reason. Other people have heard my alarm go off and said MobileHelp called to ask if I was okay and they hadn't done anything like pushing the buttons or anything like that.

It works just the way it is supposed to. Disappointed that my kids (who are paying the monthly fee) were told the device worn round my neck would detect falls, when in fact, they would have to pay more per month for a separate button for that. I am not disabled and not elderly, just 73 and get around well. I was only concerned that I might fall when alone and not be able to get help, since I live alone. They are already paying more than other similar services, so I told them I will take my chances on being able to reach the call button if I fall. I would not another thing around my neck, as well, all the time. I do not like having to take the mobile base with me when I go places. Too many heavy things in my purse now. Other than that, it works very well.

The company is easy to work with; friendly, good explanation of services. For the most part I am happy with the product, however the mobile portion of the product intended to function as the GPS appears to be a little chunky for a man's pocket and too much mass for a key chain. My father would need to remember to take it from it's base and somehow find a place for it in his truck. He has not been willing to do so. I believe if that portion were smaller, it may be more practical to put on a key chain. However, I will say my brother accidentally dropped the "fall detection" button - from just about 3 feet - and says MobileHelp responded immediately. I was happy to hear that!

For the first couple of weeks home from the rehabilitation center, nearly every day in the bathroom or the kitchen I had to call the fire and rescue with MobileHelp. It has been extremely valuable for me. The only complaint I have is that there's been like three times that it indicated there was a fall and there wasn't. There's been probably a half a dozen times that I did fall and it didn't detect it so I had to push the button in order to get help. Customer service has been outstanding. A lot of times I don't have to wait five minutes or so and the fire and rescue team is here. They're so quick to respond. I've had situations in the middle of the night where you're accidentally falling out of bed. I've had situations in the mornings and in the evenings where I've fallen in the bathroom and they've been so quick to respond and not leave me hanging. I'm gratefull they get help here really quick.

I saw big advertisement on the back page of the A.A.R. bulletin and I had seen others before and this one somehow appealed to me and I had my son in law check it out and he said to It looked okay and so that's why I enrolled. I believe the value is good. It was easy for me to put together and use the charger. I actually was wearing it one day when I was working in the kitchen and the one that I wear around my neck is quite long and I must have leaned against the counter in the kitchen and I didn't realize that I had pushed the button but I got a phone call immediately and so that was very good to know about their response time. I have very thin wrist so the wrist watch goes better around my ankles than my wrist.

Well I tried some of the others the thing that decided most is that the way that the battery before it has to be recharged. No but I can certainly describe a situation I got involved in about a week ago. I would say maybe 4 well because of an experience I had with the other week ago. Yes, Okay I'm going to tell you about the past experience that's what I write are you listening? (rep says yes) Okay I tried to test the equipment and the units we're separated at the back of my house and what I was hearing on the same unit was not the same as told to me on the other unit so I ended up with the paramedics on my house and I don't need that cause I'm at a second home 500 miles away somewhere other than the medical use (unclear) as well so that wasn't too encouraging.

I was desperate at the time. When I saw their ad in the AARP magazine I decided to go with it since it looked like a pretty thorough service. I got it for my husband so that I can have some peace of mind since he has some dementia. They were very instructive when it came to setting everything up. That was wonderful because, when the box came in, I didn't know how I was going to do it. They explained everything very clearly to my husband and he was able to do everything. We didn't have to have one of our kids come out and do it. On an average day he uses it when I go out in case he falls while I'm not around. It's very sensitive. We've had it go off a few times without reason and it has been quite terrifying. The voice comes on saying 'fall detected' and he'll have to reset it and let them know he's ok. It takes some time to get used to it. So far it has been far more expensive than what I thought it was going to be. In the long run I think it'll be worth it.

We got it because of the cost and the features the equipment has. The small cellphone thing just fits in one of my shirt's pockets. I haven't really had to take the mobile base with me that much. I've only really tested it but it works and it appears to be well built. The people that I've talked to have been very good. They always get my questions answered promptly and professionally. Normally I just wear it at home and when I'm out and about. I've only had one problem with them. They sent me some forms they wanted me to review and sign and, in there, they had my emergency contacts in the wrong order of priority. I called them about that and they told me to sign it and send it back anyways, that they would just update that info on their system. Thing is, they literally sent me a contract. I was not about to sign a contract that was incorrect so I insisted they sent me a corrected one. It has been well over a week and I'm still waiting on it. They got me the equipment far faster than that form.

I picked them because they had more to offer than the other service I had. The other one didn't even have GPS. MobileHelp has a lot of great advantage points to it. It's very convenient and it works well for me. The buttons are good quality. They're waterproof so I don't have to worry about them getting wet. I wear it every day. It's not bulky compared to the other one I had. I mean, it had Velcro strap to keep it together and it kept getting stuck on things. This one is all rubber, so I don't have any problems with it. I know that if I fall I can at least get some help. There were a few times with the other company where I fell but nobody was there to help me.

I'm 72 and I still work in the yard or in the shop. I'm by myself 90% of the time so I just needed a little back up. I heard a commercial for them and decided to check it out. I think that, in the end, they were the best option. Customer service is fantastic, their response has been good so far when I call to check on the thing and make sure that it's working properly. They have responded to anything that has happened so far, so that leads me to believe that if I had an emergency, they would be right there. It gives me peace of mind that I if anything happens in my house, I can get help with my device.

I looked at different services on magazines and my sister and I called them. We evaluated each one of them and finally settled on Mobile Help. They have been very helpful and pleasant to work with. They have answered my questions though different people would give me different answers. That made it a little hard to know what to do. For instance, I asked which button I should push to cancel the call if I pushed it by accident. The man that I talked to said I needed to answer anyway. When they called me they asked me several times if I was alright and I just kept saying yes, yes, yes. For a while they would just keep on calling me and asking me if I was hurt. Most of the time I was either sitting on a chair or lying in bed. I would have to tell them that was ok and that there were no problems. Sometimes I felt like I was being smothered you know. I kept getting these calls all the time. In the end they sent me a new pendant hoping that it would stop. It just arrived and so far I haven't gotten any calls. I'm still happy about having it.

I feel that, being alone in my home, I need some something near me that I can use to immediately alert someone if anything is wrong. That is why I got it. Everything is set up very nicely. They walked me through the process and it was very easy. They have been very helpful when answering my questions and fulfilling my needs. If I ever have more questions, I know how to reach them. I've never had to use it but I do wear it in the house in case I fall. It works nationwide so when I travel I take everything I need to be able to contact them if I need them. I feel like it's very expensive though. Other companies out there had a promotion where they had a onetime fee and that was that. I hope I don't ever really need it, but it's here with me in case I do.

I had one of these little advertising cards for MobileHelp that comes in a magazine or a newspaper, about the part that goes around your neck, and I just called them up and got myself one after I started falling when my body became real weak. I just could not pull myself back up. I haven't fallen since I got it, but it's an assurance that if I do fall, I've got some way of getting up. They were just doing their job, and I really do appreciate having it around my neck, but I was fixing' to send it back because it kept going off at night, and I wouldn't set it off. They called me at 3:30 or 4 o'clock in the morning, and another time around 11 at night. I told them, "if you don't quit waking me up, I'm gonna send this thing back!" I told the gentleman that I was speaking with, "I'll call you the next time I need you." They haven't bothered me in a long time now.

My daughter has bronchial asthma, so I got the device for her benefit, especially when I'm not around. One time, when she had an attack at school, I got a call from MobileHelp to let me know that they had gotten a signal from her. They patched me in and called the school and they were all able to locate her classroom while Mobile Help stayed on the line with me. I do have mixed feelings about it because of what happened another time, though. She was out with friends and was supposed to check in with me by a certain time. When she hadn't, and was over a half hour late, I called MobileHelp customer service and asked them to tell me where she was located. They said at the time she was by the Old Navy store at the mall. I went to find her, but she wasn't there, and when I finally could talk to her later, she said she had never been there. Overall I think it's a good device to have. It's certainly alleviated any worry that I normally would have with her, and it's a good system. I think any system is going to have some kinks, but the benefits outweigh that. I'm in a town where I don't have any relatives. I don't have anyone that I can depend on, and so it really helps me with that.

I can't place a monetary value on the peace of mind it gives me just to know that when I'm not home and something happens to my mother, somebody will be available to come help her. I had looked into it on AARP and on Consumer Reports and it just looked like it was going to be the best option for my mother and me, for a variety of reasons. There have been a couple of false alarms with our fall detection service, but nothing we had to call technical support over. The necklace just wasn't made for someone quite as short as my mother, so she has to wear it really short and close to her neck in order for it to work properly and avoid more false alerts. Other than that, we like them enough that I already have recommended them to other people. They've been terrific when we've called with the false alert. They knew exactly what to tell us.

My financial advisers did the research, including using Consumer Reports, and they found a whole list of various current alert systems, and this one was first in line. I thought well, why not shoot for the top one, I'd read all the comments about it and what people thought of it, and it seemed like the right thing to do. I haven't had any trouble, and there's somebody there that can answer my questions. I'm having to be very careful with the pendant. When bending down, or putting things in cupboards, or when I get down on the floor and do floor exercises and things like that, I'm concerned that it might go off. I'm trying to figure out where's the best place to put things. I was in bed the other night, and I had a bad dream, during which I reached for the pendant. I woke up and apparently I must have really touched it unconsciously, because then the big main box that the man speaks through went off. It was 6 o'clock in the morning, and I thought, oh good grief, I don't want all my other people to be called to come over here for nothing when it's really cold out, so I dashed for the phone and I told them this was a false alarm. I got to thinking, what if I couldn't have dashed, but I still didn't need any help? I called back to MobileHelp and they pointed out that I had tried speaking into the pendant, and it was only then that I learned that you can't speak into the pendant; you can only speak to the big box and the mobile device.

MobileHelp gives me a feeling of security. I have very bad knees and a bad hip, so I could fall anytime, and just makes me feel much more secure to have that available. In my research of several different companies, through AARP magazine, I found that it was trustworthy. I wear the pendant during the day when I'm walking around the house, and then I have the other unit that's good for further away strapped in my purse, so when I leave the house I have that always with me. The one time I accidentally set it off, the call to me was immediate, and I greatly appreciate that. The device was very helpful, and they were very polite with a very rapid response.

I was reading some feedback that I got in the mail, and I went ahead and I thought, well, I'm going to try it and see what they offer. I got a lock box and a month free. I had already had some experience with something similar, and so I just thought I would try and see how it works. They said to test it once a month to make sure it works. I did, and I could hear it in my bedroom. My experience has been that I haven't had any problems. So far everything's been good with it, so I am satisfied right now. It's expensive, but you need it, and I feel safer now with it. I already recommended it once, so I would recommend it again. I assume that everything would be fine because I know the button works.

I'm not sure it is the best for me yet. I've had it for a while. I thought it would be better than the old one because it has a fall button, but the fall button doesn't work right. If you wear it around your neck the whole time, you just ring it till it goes off. I had a lot of trouble with it telling me I had a fall, so I don't wear it anymore; I just wear the bracelet. I think its' great to have, and they seemed to be right on the ball; they answer right away so that's nice, but the fall button is too delicate. Every time I'd move or lay down it would go off; that's crazy. I got to talk to a couple of people, and they tried to explain to me that you can't wear the necklace to bed, you can't do this with it, you can't do that with it... I mean, what's the purpose of having the fall button on it if it's that bad? I want something I can wear 24/7.

I called several other companies, and one factor certainly was the cost. There are some that are more expensive, and there are some others that are less, but I'm happy with this one. It's good to have it. I've trusted them enough to tell my friend about it, and she got it. She's glad to have it, too, because she stumbles a lot. I just have a regular day; I wear the wristband, and if I leave the house to go shopping or do appointments or whatever, I take my little GPS unit with me and hope and pray I don't have to use it. So far I haven't, but it's there, just sitting in my purse, happy as can be. It's like home or car insurance; you hope you never have to use it, but it's there in case you do. I had one phone call at 11:30 at night wanting to know if I was all right, because they said the alarm had gone off on the necklace. I've never even worn the necklace'it was still sitting where I put it when I got it'but somebody was Johnny-on-the-spot, so that was good. At least they were checking!

I've been looking at several different ones. The value is pretty average across the board with others. I tried this one and I liked what I heard, and that's why I went with it. It seems to be very convenient. It's small; I don't notice that I even have it on. I have no problems that would keep me from recommending it. I haven't had to use it, but it doesn't have to be an emergency. Whether I'm hurt or not, if I have fallen, I can call in, and they can call in a neighbor to come over and help me, so that's really a help for me, just knowing that I can get someone close real quick if I needed to. I leave it sitting by my bed at night instead of on me, but I get up in the morning and put it on. I wear it outside to work in the yard a little bit, or to visit the grocery store and come home.

I researched it to make sure that it was cellular-based, because we traveled quite a bit and that's important to us. Some of the others are just through a phone line at your house, and I wanted to make sure that when we're traveling we were still able to use it. That was kind of the deciding factor, and when I did some googling of the company and that made me decide to go with them. My wife is the one that uses it. We just go about our business and just feel safer knowing that in fact we have the device. She's by herself; that was kind of my concern, if I was traveling and away from the house, or she went someplace and she couldn't make a phone call, so it just gives her more freedom. I haven't had a lot of experience with it, but I have had two false alarms, and they called immediately and forgave me right away. I haven't had any issues with the equipment; it seems to work fine, including anytime we tested it. It's a product that we hope we never have to use, so that's our goal: to have it, but never have to use it.

I had read their marketing brochure and had asked them for additional information. It sounded like it would work for me, but it will not. I'm waiting for them to send me a return post receipt, and I will be sending it back. I had no problems with their customer service. They were helpful and told me what they would do. The device itself seems to be convenient, but I just tallied everything up and figured that for the number of times I would probably use it, it is going to be more costly than I had initially anticipated. I have advanced glaucoma and I'm going blind, so I have major health problems and with the expenses, it just didn't seem to be the way to go.

My son bought it for me. I didn't want to wear one, but he said it made him feel better. If I had been the one buying this myself, I would have looked into things further. I called to test, and they did a fine job of answering my questions and testing it. I wear one of the things all the time, but I think it's kind of ridiculous that you have to take the other part of it with you if you go any place. There are others that don't do that, where the mobile device has a battery in it, and it answers without carrying an extra piece. I don't think you should have to carry two things. With this one, if the thing you wear on your wrist is the thing you push and you don't have the other thing with you, it's of no use at all.

I did some research and thought they offered the most opportunities for different kinds of that type of care. They've been very helpful and understanding, and everytime I called they've been right there to answer my questions. I just received it recently, and when the first one came, the package was beeping when it arrived, so I called the company. They were very nice, and they had me send it back. Within a week I had a new one, and so far that's working very well. In fact, it works so well that I bent over and an ambulance came. I think people better know how sensitive it is! I had no idea how sensitive the units are, and you have to be careful, because you can set it off a lot more easily than I thought. Aside from that, I think the device quality is very good.

I researched and narrowed it down to the top 2, and I finally decided that because MobileHelp offered the same thing as the 2nd one, and yet they are the ones that make some of their own equipment and sell it to the 2nd one, that means they're better. Their price was a little bet less, too, and they had everything I wanted. I sleep with my bracelet, and I have the GPS unit charging near my bed, so that I can hear it if I need it during the night. When I wake up I use the pendant that will detect if I fall. I put that on while I take a shower and when I go walking, and then I go back to my wristband, and I go to my office with my GPS unit next to it. I had my pendant go off a couple of times and their response was immediate. They called back the next day to give me some tips on what I could do to avoid a false alarm, so they have been very fast in response, and very good in giving me ideas in how to use it and how to manage it better. I haven't really gone through anything except those false alarms, but they showed it is working very well, maybe too well. I think that the pendant is a little bit too sensitive, or I am too active for it, but that's a good problem. It's better for it to be wrong by calling a false alarm, than to let me lie there needing help and not calling at all. I really think they have a wonderful company, and a wonderful product. I'm just going to change the pendant that's so sensitive. I think I'm too active'if I bend down to get a soap from the shower or something that falls on the floor, it goes off thinking that I fell'and so I really think that I'm not yet at the stage in my life where I need that pendant, but I know where to get it when I do need it.

I think the fact that I could take the device with me was key to deciding on MobileHelp. I haven't had to use it or their customer support yet, so I guess it's good. I don't like the little charging device because I don't think it charges very much, and I don't like having to charge it when I come home because I don't remember to do it. I would rather have a device that I don't have to charge. I think other companies that I know of don't have a charging device, so if I had to change I would change because of that. I don't like having to come home and remember to take it out of my purse and charge it. That's the part I don't like. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

I had looked at several companies and the ratings seemed good for Mobile Help. The woman I talked with on the phone was convincing and really, really good, and I really liked the little portable unit that I can carry around, so I don't have to be tied to a box in the house, because I'm out and about a lot. If I'm working outside on our twenty acres, and something happens, I can talk to somebody, or if I accidentally hit the button I can immediately talk to somebody and cancel the call. I've got the wrist unit on most of the time. It doesn't rotate around, even though I'm small, and they gave me the neck pendant too. I wore the pendant yesterday and it was it was quite uncomfortable. It was really rough on my neck, so I had to put on a turtleneck and put the pendant around the collar instead of just against my bare skin. The one interaction I have had so far is with the person who I spoke with when I was trying to figure out how to set the unit up. I had some other questions, and they were very nice, very clear, and they treated me like a normal human being, instead of being condescending like some people are to older people.

A close friend of mine recommended Mobile Help. She gave me their phone number and I called. It's quite reasonable for the help you're going to get if you need it. I'm satisfied with the price. I'm following the directions to do everything the way that I'm supposed to, with the equipment. I feel more secure even though I haven't had to use it. I go out quite a bit; I don't just stay at home. I take the device that I'm supposed to take with me when I leave the house, and that and the pendant around my neck are with me at all times. It's just good knowing that that somebody is there, such that I will get help immediately. It psychologically makes me feel better, because I live alone. I don't have any reason not to trust them; so far they've been trustworthy and helpful when I've had to call them. I had to call them at first about the equipment and how to use it, and the person I talked to was very helpful.

I got Mobile Help primarily for the GPS, so that it works away from home, and secondly because of the lock box for key on the front door. That way I don't have to worry about trying to get to the door to open it for the emergency people. They contact immediately if they detect a fall or a something with the alert, I'm not falling, but it has gone off several times, once even in the shower just from the water pouring against it. They're always right there calling me to find out what's wrong. It's about the same price as I was paying before, and I think it's pretty much just like the other companies in most ways, but I have recommended it to people I know.

The salesman really sold me on Mobile Help. I've been very satisfied and I have recommended it to friends. I have never really used it to call except to check it, but typically I'm out most of the day and I have to take the carry-along thing with me, and it always doesn't work because I'm not always near my purse. Sometimes I have to put my purse away and I can't carry that mobile apparatus with me. Otherwise, I really love this thing, it works, and it's perfect for me. I love the watch. It's much easier for me to manipulate than the thing I hang around my neck, which I put inside my shower. I swim everyday and I use the watch in the water, and that's a big help for me. I find that it's not annoying, it works fine.

My daughters researched all of the companies out there and came up with Mobile Help for me. I'm glad I have it, I wear the watch all the time, even at night. I've never had to use it, but I've hit it by mistake and they always call me when that happens. Even when I was out of Atlanta in Connecticut they called me when I hit the button by accident. They'll also call if they thing something is wrong. I had some issues with the main base machine that I kept in my kitchen. The lights on it kept flashing for some reason and I called them many times to see if they could fix it. They tried a lot but, in the end, they ended up sending me a brand new machine. I was very pleased with that.

We got it for my mother since they offered a wireless service that didn't need a phone line. We haven't had to call them much, but they've been very helpful when we do. We've had to replace the battery a couple of times and ship things back and forth, but besides that she hasn't had any problems with them. When I initially signed up for this service they didn't tell me about the different payment plans that they offered. I wasn't told that it'd be much cheaper if I paid quarterly or yearly instead of paying monthly as I had been doing. After about 3 years of having it, the service rep contacted me and told me I could get a lower rate this way. I was disappointed that it took them that long for them to reach out and tell me about it.

I tried a couple of other services, but this one was the one I ended up keeping. When I had to use it they were very efficient. They asked me my name and dispatched the emergency personnel out to our house. They were very efficient. A couple of times the alarm has gone off while he's asleep, laying on the bed, and they've alerted me of those times too. Usually he's just right next to me, so things are alright. On one occasion my husband misplaced his necklace and they replaced it for him. They were very patient and good with him. I wish they would put the GPS bit on the necklace itself. That'd be a good improvement. That way they could track him all the time without the need to have the other bit in his pocket.

At the time I got it they were sort of a pioneer in this kind of technology. The only other company out there only worked within a very small range, 100 or 200 ft from the main unit. I was getting it for my dad and I liked the idea of him being able to get help regardless of where he was. When we first got it, we helped him do some of the testing and everything, but now he's doing that on his own periodically. He wears the little necklace and charges it when he needs to. They always respond and are always trying to get better at giving the service. When it fist came out I thought the device and everything was great. Now I'm not so sure since they give you the cellphone bit and the pendant, so you have to carry both when you go out. Ideally they would integrate the necklace and cellphone into one, especially since you never know if the cellphone will be all charged up and ready to go whenever you need to go out.

In my research I figured out that they were one of the best ones, especially when it came to the device's ability to go anywhere and still be connected. That's why I purchased it for my mother. It's flawless and has never failed. Customer service does not delay getting in contact with you if there's a problem, especially when it comes to hardware issues. If something needs to be replaced, they will send it out immediately. I'm a bit disappointed in my mother because she will not push the button when she actually needs it. That just renders the whole system useless and, because of that, I'm considering canceling it.

We called different companies and felt that they were the most reasonable ones, so I got it for my dad. Sometimes it seems like it takes them a while to respond to the button push. It takes some 2 or 3 minutes before they answer whenever we do the testing. Sometimes it just depends on the environment but I don't really know. I get frustrated and if that happened in a true emergency it would be a problem. One day we couldn't find my dad, he had gone on one of his walks but hadn't told us about it. We were really concerned about him so we called them and they were able to locate him for us. It turned out he was just two blocks away and we felt relieved. Customer service is pretty good about responding to our questions. We've had some equipment problems but they were pretty good about correcting those situations. Sometimes it took a little while for them to fix it, but things turned out ok. I'm real happy about it.

I saw an ad for them in the paper, so gave them a call and asked a few questions. After that I decided to join in. I've only had it for 2 weeks but I wear it everyday. I put it on in the morning and in the evening I put the watch on. Whenever I leave the house I take the GPS with me. It is a little bit expensive to be honest. Last time I called customer service the woman that I talked to was not really nice, she had a bit of an attitude issue. I needed help with the necklace since the string is too long. I was trying to get someone that could help me make it shorter but she didn't know how to. Another issue is that the watch itself doesn't look like the one that they had advertised in their pictures. The one they had looked nicer and this one looks like a simpler form. I'd like to know if there's a way to change the one I have for the one they advertised.

My children were the ones that got it for me in case I needed help but I don't really feel like I need it. I'm retired but fairly healthy, I do all of my own housework. I wear it, yeah, but I haven't had to push the button for help. I've talked to customer service a couple of times for small things, but nothing too bad. Right now I've had some trouble with the device that goes on my neck because it goes off on its own. When that happens they call me and ask me if I need any help. All I gotta say is 'no, I'm perfectly fine' and that's that. Because of that I don't sleep with it anymore. I don't know how fast they will be in an actual emergency. Maybe as I get older I might have more need for it so I'll let them continue with it.

I did some investigation on the different services out there and this one seemed like the best one. I have some objections with the system, one of them is that the button is too sensitive. Anytime I even slightly touch it, it goes off. Still, they have been very responsive every time that happens, even when it's not an actual emergency. I really appreciate that. The system is easy to understand and set up. Though another thing I don't quite like is that I have to be in the same room where the GPS unit is if I want to talk to them. I have to take that with me everywhere to talk to the person, even if I'm just in my bathroom. If they made it so you can talk to them through the necklace unit that would be a great plus.

I picked it since I liked the features that they have, especially the fall detection feature. That one in particular was a deal breaker when I looked around. I have it now and luckily I haven't had to use it yet. I just wear it on my neck in case I need it and it's mostly good. I've only had problems with the part that holds the button. It's constantly turning backwards, no matter what way I put it on. Other than that though, it's wonderful. There was an occasion where the alert went off accidentally and they called my emergency contacts immediately. My daughter and granddaughter came out running to check in on me. When I called them back to tell them things were just fine they took care of everything. There was another false alarm like that one and I still don't quite understand why that happened. Especially since I wasn't even wearing the necklace at the time. I feel safe with it though.

Since it said they had no contract and it was mobile we decided to give it a try. We liked that we can take it with us if we have car trouble. That is because on one occasion there was an ice storm where our wipers just went out at night on a two lane road. There were no gas stations close by and, because the weather was so bad, we had a hard time getting signal. We couldn't really call for help. It would've been nice to have MobileHelp to get help immediately. Another reason we like it is because they give you the option of using a watch instead of a necklace. Since I don't like the idea of having anything electronic close to the heart, that sounded great. Also, if I bend over, the watch won't get tangled up or caught with everything. Theirs was also the cheapest option in the area. So far I've never had to use it, and hopefully I never will, but I've tried. The only problem I have right now is that there is a contract and I don't really agree with one of the clauses in there. I need to call them about that and I'd recommend everyone to read it before signing up.

I got it because of the GPS and the fall alert. That way, if the person that uses it falls, the family will get an alert about it. It doesn't matter if he can't press the button, we will be notified of the fall. I don't think there was any other company that provided that to us. I've tested the thing a couple of times to see how it worked and it worked well. Most of those times he was at home though, so we haven't had to test it outside or had an actual emergency. I do have a problem with customer support. One time I needed help, so I called. I was left waiting on the line and nobody picked up.

I did a search online and the came up. Since they were well rated and the price was right, I decided to get it. It was simple and painless to set it all up. Normally I wear it during the day. The band on the wristband could be a bit better designed. It's a bit on the uncomfortable side of things, but other than that it's all good. Earlier in January we actually had to use it. My wife fell down and had a period of confusion and dementia. We used it then to get an ambulance for her and get her to the hospital. It all worked out very well. The response time was good and they did exactly what they were supposed to do. I got the help that I needed it.

I used to have another alarm system, but that one only went up to 300 ft outside of my house, so it just covered the yard. This one works in the bathroom, it can get wet, and I can take it with me when I go shopping. So if I fall while going grocery shopping or when I go to the post office, I can take it with me. Apparently for 3 days they were trying to get a hold of me because the signal from the button was not coming through. One night when I went to the bathroom I heard them calling me and asking me to pick up. That's when I talked with them about the thing and they checked it. Apparently it west working properly because it just wasn't charging. They sent me a new one within two days and, in the meantime, they told me how to directly connect the button to the power source so I could still use it.
