Probably my favorite medical help company so far, because i actually used it. I have about 20 different monitoring systems, fancy that the most old design is actually the sturdiest. -1 star because i don't want to jinx myself. I'll always leave room for improvement but, i had an ambulance to me within 4 minutes... literally like they lived next door.

Built to last ive had mine for 4 years. I wish they did more ads at senior meetings or rotaries, as i think a lot of my friends could use the help too that go to my local rotary. I feel so much safer with this thing, especially in covid times its good to have the insurance policy of an on call helper.

Life alert, more like life preservation. I'm preserved, and everyone in my family is much happier with me here than not here. Calling them was a breeze, and i did fall but it wasn't that serious.. i'd of had no way to get the 911 operator without it.

The thing works. The people at the call center walked me through the setup years ago, but the only other time i used em was when i actually needed em and sprained my hip hard. I honestly couldnt get up. This helped me, i could not of crawled far... and didnt have my cellphone. glad i got this.

This company did its job, there really isnt much more to it... the device worked for us twice during the last 2 years ... we continue to keep it on and my grandpa doesn't have issues. I love that the pendant is waterproof because I know that my father won’t ruin it when he goes out canoeing. Life Alert puts me at ease knowing that my father has a way to call for help if he is in any trouble.

I know seeing the commercials make you laugh when they say help I have fallen and can’t get up, but they saved my grandmother’s life. She was home alone and had fallen and couldn’t get up, thank goodness I got her life alert and they were able to assist her when no one else couldn’t. Thank you life alert!

I give them 3 stars, for the entertainment value. They keep calling me -- or rather, they keep calling me, using the name of a dead horse of mine! This horse and I were famous competitors, don't get me wrong; but she died of old age almost 4 years ago! Life Alert has bought the name of my famous horse from scammers in India, and call me -- by the horse's name -- about once a week. They get mad at me and hang up. Then I call then back a bunch of times, just to mess with them. They have my (dead horse) phone number programmed in, so they recognize me (by her name) when I call them! Then they get enraged and hang up and block me from calling back. Yet they call me again in another week or so, using a different (scam) number, still asking to talk to the (dead horse). I simply waste their time. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but that doesn't deter ANYBODY, least of all the scammers -- which obviously these people are! Last week, when I started asking questions, such as how they got my name and number, the telemarketer yelled, "Go to hell, you racist pig!" and hung up, and blocked me -- yet again. Give them another week; they'll start calling me again, I'm sure! I've even given them an alternate number for me: Tommy Tutone's "Jenny's Number." "Pamela" from Life Alert called me (dead horse) on my real number and said that my "other number" -- Jenny's Number -- had an error message saying its voicemail wasn't set up yet! I get 30 scam calls a day on my horse barn phone; Life Alert is one of the most fun to mess with!

Dear Patricia, Life Alert does not buy names, and does not cold call. We advertise nationally via TV, magazines and internet. So people call us when they need us. Unfortunately there are many shady companies there that either have names that sound similar to Life Alert, or they even pretend to be Life Alert. It is not easy to catch them, as you noted yourself that they keep changing the phone numbers. Yes, they are scam calls, and this is why people should never buy from an unsolicited call. If they are interested in the product or service, they always should call the company themselves.
