I am a RE Broker. I recommended your company to several clients. ALL have had a bad experience with you. I have made 3 claims and was screwed by you on all three. I am sending letters of apology to my clients. My daughter had a refrigerator problem. You sent the same tech 3 times, she lost all food 3 times. You never repaired her refrigerator and she bought a new refrigerator, not replaced as you say you will All techs say you are lousy as well, you even screw them!

I been had them for a year and a half file 2 claims with them their service suck it took a month to some to come out check and they still didn't fix it and I had a claim for a electric problem since may 8 and no one has came to check the problem as of june 25 there service stinks .

I would have given them a 5 star rating except the initial customer service was rough going. I was dropped a few times and until supervisors and management got involved I wasn't feeling the love. However, once management was involved they were excellent simply put. There was a problem on the communications part in the beginning which was straightened out after two days. Choice honored the agreement and things were resolved. Choice might want to look at their internet communications aspect to improve the customer experience.

So far they have been very easy to work with. I go online anytime, day or night, to open a claim, and they respond very quickly. Most recently, I put in a claim for my AC not working around 1:00 in the morning. By 2:00pm that same day, the repairman was at my house, working on my unit! Consumer cheating: site says replace unit if can not repair. My HVAC is not working , and they said they can not replace it because there's maximum limitation $1500. I am wondering if HVAC unit can be replaced with $1500?

They are an awful company. First time I called needing a plumber they could not find one for us. We had to hire our own and we pd. full price. Second time needed a plumber again. They sent someone who lives 2 and a half hours from us. He could not come for a week , and we had no hot water. I talked to him personally and he had nothing good to say about the company. He told me they can not get good service people to work for them and that they hire and send workers who know nothing about the job they have been hired for. Crazy!

My rep James was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly...he only fixed what needed to be fixed and replaced it promptly...he was at my residence early (about an hour) which was good in my book...the whole experience from contacting CHW about situation with initial call went very smooth...James was at my residence the next day...all I had to do was present my co-pay ($65.00) upon arrival...also the monthly payments to sustain account is not bad (under $50.00)...after reading this review pick up whatever phn you use and make the call to Choice Home Warranty...you won't regret your decision by taking my advice...more power to ya...make the call...later dayz and better wayz!!!

I am not happy. I switched from American Home because of lower cost and the fact that your phone marketer said the coverages were the same. I had a problem with my oven door that couldn't be fixed and is now inoperable - $75 hinge issue and oven not usable. Just had a call on fix on my garage door that was inoperable - $200 cost of a spring. This is not the same coverage as American Home. I am afraid to call on a water leak on my washer, is there some issue involved that in not covered? I have just about had it. Bill Lee, Wichita.

At first the rep denied my claim, saying the only thing they insured on a toilet was if it wouldn't flush or if it was leaking. When I protested and asked to speak to his supervisor he paused me and then came back and told me the supervisor had waived that rule and that CHW would fix my toilet. Everything from that point went very well.

Had a dryer problem ,had a tech from Sears assigned he came within 3 business days ,ordered parts and installed 4 days later. The tech was nice ,professional,and helpful with other ways to make dryer more efficient.

It is very helpful to be able to call a number and order service on your appliances. Sometimes it takes longer than you wish but overall it worked out well. The $45 fee for service is a deal. Sometimes can require back up phone calls etc. but Beats calling around to find service people and waiting for answers from several people at once.

I am disgusted with this experience! 4 days to approve a hot water heater claim, after numerous requests because of medical issues in the house is so wrong on every level. Many phone calls and emails were answered with the same computer generated reply or an answer or promise that later was determined to be false.

Worst customers services I've ever experienced. Almost a month with air conditioner problems. The first tech. didn't get the problem fixed properly and still no answers on when our air conditioner will be installed because they "ordered the wrong" unit. All of this while they choose to blame the pandemic for lack of air conditioners and refused to let us speak with a manager or supervisor. DO NOT BUY THIS HOME WARRANTY unless you want the run around when something goes wrong...

Your company now states they don’t cover above ground pools/equipment. I was told otherwise when I purchased the warranty.
