Customer support was pretty good, but I had some bad experiences with them recently. I had some difficulty with them helping me with my water heater, and also my A/C unit, so I wasn't pleased and cancelled my service.

Just a few weeks ago, my AC went out, and they said it wasn't going to be covered because the unit had rust outside. I told them to cancel the service because it's expected to see rust on the outside of an A/C unit. They were able to work with me and get the unit replaced at a discounted cost, rather than just saying it wasn't covered. Everything was quite negative, but I think that at the end of the day, they did a good job working it out with me.

I filed a claim because my dryer didn't have the timing right or something, so they came and fixed it, and it was good. They do pretty accurate stuff, which is a good thing. I have no complaints with Choice Home Warranty.

They were very nice when I was signing up with them, but they weren't the same after I did so. They also try very hard not to pay for anything. Our water heater broke, and the warranty said they covered it, but when they came over, they didn't cover the water heater tank. It's been a negative experience because I thought they had the best coverage, and they had the best reviews online.

My electricity wasn't working, and I was disappointed to know they didn't do any wires in the walls. Then my microwave was not working and they couldn't repair the problem either. I kind of like the discount they give for staying more years, but so far, my experience with them has been average.

I've only had one experience with them. My garage door wasn't working properly, and they took a long time to get the issue solved. There a was a discrepancy on how much they would pay for the part that was needed, and after some hours, they paid a little more than what they initially said. It wasn't a good experience.

Every time I contact their customer support, they've been able to contact me with a qualified representative, and have been able to follow on the job the technicians do. When I submit the request online, I usually get an answer within a few minutes, followed by a phone call telling me who was assigned to do the job I requested.

Compressor for my air conditioner failed. CHW sent a HVAC representative from across the river, Council Buffs, versus using a local Omaha representative. My AC unit was installed in 1996 and the compressor was warranted for 10 years. CHW stated that the compressor was not serviced properly so it wasn't covered. The compressor had operated successfully for 21 years and had simply worn out. In addition, they wanted me to provide invoices showing that I had annually serviced it. Who keeps invoices for 20 plus years. CHW is a scam. Don't BUY!

So I'm shopping for Home Warranty and their name popped up and I filled out all my information online to see what rate I would get and thy called me immediately and tried to sign me up on a promotional, I told the agent I was still comparing rates and would get back to them and he had the nerve to call me loser and hung up the phone, I guess he thought I didn't hear him, but I called right back and asked him why he would feel it necessary to call me a loser just because I need to compare my options as a potential customer, he denied it but apologized so even if thy were to offer it for free I would not sign up with them!!!!!....very, highly disappointed

I was talking to someone on the phone about coverage and options with intent to purchase a plan. The gentleman I spoke with only seemed interested in my credit card number. This was concerning. I told him I would like to understand the options before signing up for this service. He then told me to do my research before I call and hung up on me. I did my research which is why I chose to call this company. But, the research clearly failed me. I would never give my business to someone that treats their customers this way.

It was my first call to CHW, my washer stopped working, the technician came and said the board needed to be replaced, it would take 10 days. 10 days after I got a call from CHW saying that the washer could not be fixed and that they offer me $299 to replace it, with that money I could not replace a washer with similar features to the one I had, their response was that there are many sales going on and that maybe I could, I complained and even talked to the technician who said that it was indeed fixable, but the part costs $575. CHW offered me $400 so I can buy another washer, I just ordered one, but their $400 wont come until after another month.... I had a home warranty before and never had this kind of experience, will change it as soon as the contract is up

My Trane 1400 Heat Pump quit working 3 weeks ago and the technician couldn't find a problem after switching the circuit breaker off then on. It kept working for a week or so and we left the house for 5 days' When we returned , the A/C unit was running continuously but the inside fan wasn't. It was 88 degrees in the house. Called Choice Warrant and it took 4 days before a maintenance tech to show up at my house after many telephone calls, 7:30pm on a Friday night. After diagnosing the problem the tech said he would order a fan motor Monday and let me know then when it would arrive. On Tuesday 9/12/2017 I called Choice Warranty again and they informed me it was going to cost me $400 for the motor control module because it had been upgraded but there would be no charge for the motor, Now I paid $1200 for this warranty on 9/26/2015 thru 3/26/2019 and this is my 1st claim. I WON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN. I'll spend my money with people I know. I definitely don't recommend Choice Warranty. Today is 9/12/2017

They were prompt but ehen I needed my refrigerator repaired they were not willing to repair it. Stating that an additional part would have to be replaced which they denied. I thought it was repair or replace. These warranty companies will not repair appliances if it costs them too muchts
