Coverage is misleading. I had to replace my washer and dryer after one year. CHW would only allow $400 for a new dryer and $450 for a washer. They said that's what they could buy them for, but in shopping around I didn't find anything near those prices. My units were stackable and gas. My air compressor went out on my HVAC unit. They would not pay for the replacement part, only the haul off and replacement Freon. Not great experiences with this company.

The have very poor customer service. Technicians cannot speak with a human concerning a claim, and policy holders cannot either. My te hnician and I are STILL waiting on a replacement part that is covered under the warranty. It has been 1 month and neither of us have heard ANYTHING. I switched to Choice from First American Home warranty because if this company's past ratings. My experience as been horrific and I will be switching back at the end of this contract. I paid for the full year upfront. I will NEVER do that again...and thankfully I did not get reeled in to their 2,3 and 5 year coverage at a discounted rate. I highly advise

I'm a senior citizen and my AC unit has been broken for a month the part hasn't came in yet I had to go buy a window unit. That's not right for someone to be with out air that long.

Very poor customer service - I had issues with my refrigerator . I called choice home to schedule an appointment but they kept giving me the run around and for about two weeks I couldn't get anyone to come see my refrigerator because they kept putting in the wrong phone # to the service tech and they could never get through to us . We called customer service several times but could never understand them they all sound foreign and didn't understand them. I finally got to talk to a supervisor in Florida to make sure they had our phone # right and tech person can come out to see our refrigerator. Long store short they couldn't find one of the parts so now they said they would have to pay us out on our refrigerator _Ÿ__â€ç♀ï¸è. Now we wait for our prorated refund . ....

It is very convenient to be able to contact CHW for all issues instead of having to find a resolution on your own. Normally the service call is actioned very quickly. My only concern is that many of the companies that come out for service calls are very difficult to research. It's very difficult to find any information on them, and they arrive in unmarked vehicles and no type of uniform, so I'm left wondering, " Is this company qualified to perform the work?"

They will not answer calls or call back when messages are left. The warranty I bought states air conditioning upgrade...I had to file a claim and they are trying to do the cheapest and not even replace with similar quality items.

I've only used Choice twice. The first time I was very disapointed because the technician they sent out miss diagnosed the problem which was not covered because of a very little rust. I contacted my own heating and cooling company and they made a correct diagnosis and fixed the problem, which of course I had to pay if full.

I’ve been happy thus far. I’ll definitely purchase next year. I feel like they have the best package option we were looking for as new homeowners. They are very quick to get claims I had and got someone out very quick. My dishwasher wasn’t working and they sent someone on the following Monday and fixed it that day. I did not like the company they sent out for my AC issues but live and learn.

I’m a real estate agent, I only refer Choice Home Warranty, I’ve probably set up about 20 different policies. It is easy to request someone to come out and help when something is wrong. I had a terrible experience but that was not Choice’s fault. It was the contractor but they should put in a system so they know not to refer a vendor to your house again. Other than that everything has been fantastic. The call center is frank so I know I can count on them to explain the policy.

Just about all the technicians I have dealt with have been efficient and competent and timely. That has been important for me and the cost is reasonable in terms of technicians fees. There was an incident and I did not appreciate the way they handled it but I am appreciative of the people they have sent the many times I have used the warranty.

The technician they sent out to do my repairs on my dryer is very professional. He analyzed the problem first and had the part in his truck and was able to make the repair. When I call choice it is not automatic, I was able to talk to a representative, so I was pleased.

I needed to have a hard water replaced and filled out the form requesting my regular plumber but they assigned me another one so I wrote back and they gave me another one and then I had to write back again and finally they assigned the plumber I requested. So they are responsive but not to my specific needs.
