I’m a real estate agent, I only refer Choice Home Warranty, I’ve probably set up about 20 different policies. It is easy to request someone to come out and help when something is wrong. I had a terrible experience but that was not Choice’s fault. It was the contractor but they should put in a system so they know not to refer a vendor to your house again. I’ve had issues on both end of the spectrum. Getting something done is good. My air conditioning went out and within two days I had somebody fix it, that was perfect. Signing up was disaster and there are too many exclusions. The plumbing is not covered. I was lied to in the beginning so my price was lowered.

I needed to have a hard water replaced and filled out the form requesting my regular plumber but they assigned me another one so I wrote back and they gave me another one and then I had to write back again and finally they assigned the plumber I requested. At the time, I thought that Choice would be the best because they kept saying if they can’t fix it, they will replace it but that is not true. They couldn’t fix my refrigerator and they wanted offer me half the value, which is not replacing it. That is false advertising.

We’ve been without air-conditioning three weeks because Choice said they couldn’t find a part. Their service are really bad. You call and can’t even reach a person and they don’t return emails. I had a quote manager taking care of my case because of the issues. I am sure they have some good parts, I just have no idea what they are.

As far as responding to my issue, Choice Home Warranty was on the ball. They are prompt in their service. The service people they fix the claims are not so good. The original company that was service the claim, I was having a hard time getting a hold of so we are looking for another company.

A friend had Choice Home Warranty and liked it and told me to get it. Each time I’ve called, they’ve sent somebody to fix the problem and I don’t have to pay a big repair bill, I just pay $45, other companies are $75 to $85. I thought the water heater should have been covered but it isn’t. I just told my other friend about it.

Actually, they’ve been pretty doggone good. Everybody, except one company, as been really good. I ended up with new air conditioner unit. I am supposed to get a check for eighty six dollars that I am waiting for.

Choice Home Warranty is the cheapest but they are still prompt in getting back to you with companies who come out and do whatever you need done. Most of the companies are pretty good to work with and are prompt and courteous and know what they are talking about.

Their technicians fixing things are inexperienced. The amount of money they allot for parts and services doesn’t typically cover the value of what it s worth if you need to replace items but they are the cheapest company.

I took out a three year contract, which I thought was very reasonable. I think that is why I went with Choice Home Warranty, their prices are awesome compared to other warranty companies. They’re very easy to work with, very understanding. I’ve had excellent customer service. Multiple times they emailed me to make sure everything when I had someone come out to look at the Ac unit. I look forward to working with them again.

Other company dropped us because of covid so we have choice. They get the job done but it is going to be a long wait on parts. We had to use it for our over and they dropped the ball and we had to reschedule an appointment and we had to wait over a month for someone to repair the issue. They handled it very poorly as far as service.

The price compared to American Home Shield is way better. I feel comfortable with what they cover for the price. I did a request on the internet and the service was great and done in a timely manner. When I asked them to change the vendor, they did.

They need to find more quality people to do repairs. I’ve used it twice, the first for the locks on my door and the second for a couple of appliances that don’t work, the person they sent out took my money and now I can’t get a hold of him so I had to wait for another company to come out.

They were really, really good before but after the coronavirus, the service has gone down. There is no response. They sent people who didn’t do the job and when asked them to come back, they will charge me again.

They are hiring contractors that aren’t following up they way they should. I had to wait a day and a half to get a technician late on a Friday night. They haven’t helped me with my claims and I was not reimbursed for my hot water heater.

I’m a five year customer because they gave me a better deal for a five year warranty. I have probably used them quite of few times for myself as well as for my rental properties. It’s been an okay experience, not very excellent, but okay. It seems like every time you talk to them about a o problem, it is not covered which is troublesome because they should honor what is in the contract.
