Your advertising says 24/7 coverage but you dont have emergency services. Dont help when you have an emergency. Advertising says the warranty covers water heaters but it don't when it needs to be replaced.

Listen this company lies in their TV commercials, they don't replace nothing. They sent nearly 10 different technicians to my home for a problem with my washing machine, the last technician that so-called repaired the problem, told me the company ignored his findings. The problem still exists, I called them over a week age and demanded to have my concern escalated, I spoke with a representative (in escalations) on 07/26/2019 at 10:30am and she assured me that I would get results this time. This is the perfect example of them lying because they haven't corrected my problem and I haven't received a replacement and this has been going on since June 26, 2019.

They talk a good service over the phone but when you check out their service contract you will see that you are not getting a good deal. Their Customer Service is not good and trying to get an issue resolved can talk you several hours if you have the time to wait.

I called for service and was placed into the queue and had a reply that I thought was very fast. The said someone would be at my home between 12:45 and 3pm the same day - they called to confirm and then said "sorry he's already left the area" and can be there Friday. I said that was too long since there is water leaking. They said they would put me back into the queue and someone would pick it up. I called Choice to confirm I'm in the "queue" and I'm still waiting...not good.

I just got off the phone with your supervisor, Keisha. I have no heat, your repairmen were here today, i need a stock blower, your claims dept did not get to it yet (as per Keisha), I have no heat!!! Your technician is ready to install and give me heat, but choice warranty is preventing that from happening NOW, It's 53 degrees here and Choice Warranty is holding up the process. I could have had heat without choice 1 1/2 days ago without you, right now a poor decision signing up with you guys and you want a good review?

So far my experience is extremely negative. I called to cancel a policy that I just got yesterday because my homeowner's policy that I just started today had better coverage availability for only $18 a year. My call resulted in a 30 minute waste of time on hold. About 15 minutes in a woman transferred me to another department. A message came on and said I had another 7 minute 10 second wait period. After another ear damaging wait a voice started saying to press 1 for a callback. I did but no voice or prompt came back on to say they would call back. I waited another 7 or 8 minutes and listened to lots more messages for a callback and they didn't work either. Then the background just stopped as it sounded like someone answered the hung up. Tomorrow morning I will cancel payment on my Visa card. This is obviously a scam or a criminal activity.

CHOICE HOME WARRANTY IS A "SCAM" MY HEATING UNIT WENT OUT DURING THE COLD THIS YEAR WITH TEMPERATURE IN THE TEENS AND CHOICE TOLD ME THAT MY HEATING ELEMENTS WERE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS THE PLAN. I WILL ADVISE ANYONE THAT'S LOOKING FOR A HOME WARRANTY TO NOT CONSIDER THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY SAID THEY COULD GIVE ME $150.00 TOWARD MY CLAIM. OH BY THE WAY THIS WAS MY VERY 1ST CLAIM WITH THEM. I HAD AMERICAN HOME SHIELD BEFORE GOING WITH CHOICE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM COMING OUT AND DOING WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY CAME OUT AND SERVICE MY UNIT IN THE SUMMER OF 2016 AND NEVER TOLD ME THAT MY UNIT WAS WAS CLOGGED UP. THEY DID WHAT THEY NEEDED TO WITH NO QUESTIONS. SO PLEASE CHECK THIS COMPANY OUT BEFORE GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. THE TECH THAT CAME OUT TOLD ME WHEN THEY CAME THAT CHOICE WAS GOING TO DENY MY CLAIM BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE TO REPLACE YOUR APPLIANCES WHEN NEEDED IF THEY CAIN'T REPAIR THEM. PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A CEILING FAN WITH A LIGHT THEY WILL REPLACE THE FAN BUT NOT THE LIGHT. I HAVE HAD FRIENDS TELLING ME THE SAME THING ABOUT CHOICE . ( SO PLEASE BE WARE)!!!!!!!

No heat from heat pump. Temps in the 30's. Chilly Willies Air & Heat responded claim call next morning after filing claim (1/4/18) but first appointment available was on 1/8/18, four days away. Had to call own HV/AC company who responded within hours.

Paid upfront for a 3 year contract..My 1st major claim,Heating unit Compressor went out was denied...Very Disappointed with Choice..Choice says heating compressor problem is not considered “normal wear and tear”...After hours on phone I am still in house without heat..This is what I have warranty for HVAC ISSUES..

I have had multiple home warranty companies over the year. Hold times, are usually pretty horrible. These guys take the cake for the worst. They also have yet to find repair people to service our home in CT (by the NYC border).. We have to locate our own people, submit long and tedious paperwork and cross our fingers they will reimburse us, which is never the full amount or even close to what we were billed by the repair people in our area. Please heed my warning and stay clear.

Today January 8th around 8 10 a.m. I went into my kitchen and water was flowing from my bathroom into the basement so I called Choice Home Warranty. The woman said after quite a while said that someone would be coming Thursday the 11th to fix a plumbing problem. That would be 4 days for me without water.! But I accepted it. But then I got an email saying that someone would be out to fix the problem at the wrong address. So I called Choice Home Warranty again and told them that the problem is at 550 Highway 79 North Foley Missouri. Not 1457 South Lake Sherwood Dr. Then the woman told me the plumbing company and their telephone number but she got the number wrong she left out the number 5 then I looked up the company and call them. He said he would try and make it here before January 11th. So with the woman getting the phone number wrong and the late service I give you guys three stars not five.

Very unhappy that I have to wait for parts to be ordered, then wait for them to come in, then reschedule service. Could be a week. Will have to go to laundry mat. This summer I had a problem with my air-conditioning when it was over a 100 degrees, it was going to take three days for a repairman to come. My Mom lives with me and she was having problems with heat, I couldn't risk it. I called a repairman and had it repaired myself. Not sure what good Choice warranty is.

Scheduling service takes extremely long while they find the cheapest providers. One service provider threatened me and I had to call the police after a bad service experience. Had a broken water pipe and customer "no" service didn't seem to understand or care about the urgency of my matter. They also go to great lengths to deny claims. I will I hadn't purchased a 3 year policy. Sales person said that they would take great care of my home and that they are great about paying claims. I call BS. Save your money in a savings account and pay repair techs yourself.

They will do everything they can to not cover anything. Watch what you say and record every conversation with this company.

I've been a customer with CHW for 3 months now following a co-worker referral. I've called them twice for 2 different claims and both were denied. It took 1 whole week just to get a service technician to come out to my residence only for them to deny my claim. I had to call them 4 times within a week to keep reporting the same claim. I feel let down by CHW and I definitely will not be referring anyone to this company. I should've stayed with AHS but a co-worker referred me to this CHW and due to them having a cheaper service fee I switched to them but cheaper isn't always better. I'd rather pay a higher service fee with AHS and get my appliances fixed than to pay a cheaper service fee with CHW and have all my claims denied. Needless to say I cancelled CHW today 1/11/18. And for as my co-worker is concerned she referred me only to get a free month of service "shame on her". I can only tell of my bad experience with CHW so I say "stay away from CHW or try at your own risk" **You've Been Warned**

Our heat pump unit failed; compressor and air handler. Our initial claim was denied based on CHW's designated HVAC contractor's examination of our HVAC unit stating that it "hadn't been serviced". We are in the process of proving to CHW that, within the year of our home purchase and warranty term, our HVAC unit was serviced, and in accordance with ASHRA standards and by a licensed HVAC contractor. This is a tedious process and while we go back and forth with CHW, our house temperature is in the 40s!
