I had 2 plumbing issues but could not put them on the same claim thus had to pay the $75 service fee twice. It’s not about the money but the time involved for a tech that was in my house but couldn’t take care of the second problem. As a result it was 4 times I had to devote a day or half day waiting when it could have been only 2 times. One has not been resolved yet so add another day of waiting… this has been going on for awhile and I was told it was due to Choice not approving the part . This was my first experience with a claim so I’m hoping it gets better if I need to put in another claim

I would like to say everything was great but it is not washer broke on September 25th 2023 and it called for service that was great how fast they came out but they still have not fixed my washer and it is nov 2, 2023 called choice customer service to see what is going on after a week they tell me we are waiting on a part which is backordered I don't know when the part will get here I was told the only thing I can do is to have another service come out and start all over again waiting for a part which is on backorder. I understand about supplies being short, but I had to wait 9 months in 2020 for a dishwasher which was on backordered and never came. had to buy from someone else. just not a good customer service with giving information so I gave you 3 stars for how quick someone came out, travelling 6 miles to wash clothes is a pain there has got to be another way to fix this issue. Still hoping that the missing part may or may not work.

Great experience! My claim was approved within 5 min. The furnace repairman went to the parts store, picked up the part. Fixed the furnace without any problems within 1 hour of arrival. Called for my washer, repairman came & excesses the washer, found the problem. Called to see if you guys wanted to cover the part. He got back to me with in an hour. They have been there when we needed them and that's all I can ask for. Our air conditioners went out in the middle of summer and we needed all the help we could get. Choice was right there on the spot and we really appreciated the help. Every time we've called, Jessica or one of the other people there have been very cooperative.

I had a pool pump that needed to be replaced and you weren't able to find anybody that would be willing to come do it, so I had to do it myself. You did reimburse me to the maximum amount. But I'm unhappy that I had to find a technician myself. The other thing about Choice is their marketing is too frequent. I get emails and calls probably at least two to three times a week to sell me a home warranty that I already own.

They quickly select a vendor and make appointments. I've used it on several occasions. One was for the AC unit which was making a noise. The contractor came in, took note of it, and said we needed to order a part. That was over a year ago and I'm still waiting. Another one was for my washing machine. I received a call from the contractor. I sent pictures and and pinpointed what was wrong with it. The technician came to the house, took a picture, said they needed to order a part and left, and I'm still waiting. Hopefully that gets resolved.

I needed to use my warranty the last time for my dryer and they came out. I called them, they sent somebody out, he diagnosed it, but he didn't have the part. So he had to order the part. When the part came in, I called them, but I had to wait another week before they could get somebody else out. But they fixed it right away. Both technicians were very curious and very knowledgeable. So I'm pleased.

We've only had one claim and it went very well actually. My wife heard noise out of our air conditioning unit. We had the guy come out from the Choice vendor and he basically told us that everything was fine and there was a screw loose, so he tightened the screw. I guess it really didn't cost you guys anything, but it cost us $75, which was okay.

I think that they're very attentive. They know exactly what they're doing, so they respond to things quickly. Of course it takes time, but that's understandable, 24 hours to 48 hours. But overall, I'm happy. If they can identify a technician a little earlier, that'd be helpful. But again, that's understandable.

It was easy to file a claim and while it took a couple days to assign a technician (during an artic freeze and the issue bing HVAC), CHW kept in contact letting know they were working diligently to find someone in my area. The assigned company was ComfortCoolingnHeating. Their technician (Grover) called me the day of the appointment to let me know about when he would arrive and that he would call me back about 15 min before his eta so I could still run errands until then. Grover was wonderful! The nicest guy. He figured out the problem and then went to a store to get a part that he didn’t have on his truck so that he could get y heat back on. He didn’t want me going without heat in these freezing temps. I highly recommend him and the HVAC company.

Every time we place an order they take it right away, and within a day or two we get the service, which is fantastic. The very first one that we did the first year, I think was our garbage disposal was out. They came in, put in a new one and since then it's working fine. Our faucet was clogged, and the hot water was not coming they came out and then flushed it out and since then it's been working fine. Very recently we got our garage frozen light that was flickering, they came in and fixed that one too.

Typically it's good, but I have had some times where things have taken months or things never got done. The last two times I used it, I got somebody out within a few days and they did a great job. It tends to vary from location to location, in a highly populated, dense area like Houston I've got a lot of service providers and I get quick responses, and I have a home over in Florida in a less densely populated area, and sometimes it takes quite a while to get someone if I get anyone to come out.

It was very easy to file the claim online. The company that they dispatched out called me within that day and actually did a weekend visit without me even asking. They just came out on a weekend. The last couple of times the repair person came out, on both of the repairs and fixed it the first time. I didn't have to have someone come out for the second, third, or fourth time. It was fixed right away, in a timely manner.

It's probably one of the best companies out there. I would recommend them. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Any problems that you have, they get into it with you and then they try to help you out the best way they can. Actually we had to use the warranty about two weeks ago for our garbage disposal. They sent out a company and they were able to fix the problem with no issues. And the only thing we had to pay was the deductible, which is nothing.

We recently had an issue with our hot water heater and had a hard time getting a plumber in there to do the job. The pricing was crazy and I asked if I could bring in my own plumber and they said yes. I could pay a licensed registered plumber to go up front and they would reimburse them. And that went really well. They've been a great company to work with so far. They're always there to answer your questions and help you when you need it.

I did it all on the website. Just a few hours later I had a response back from them. So it was it was pretty quick and easy.I had a little incident where we needed parts and they sent the wrong parts, apparently to the wrong address, and they haven't been delivered yet. So I've I've been limping along without a washer for a couple weeks, but in the meantime, I went on vacation, so I can't really count that against them.

They return calls and they have good follow up. I enjoyed talking to the men. They have really good supervisors that come out. First they fixed my leak, they had an excellent crew, and then I've got a second crew that I haven't met so I'm still trying to get in touch with them. What I liked was the service Cosco Garage Door provided. The owner Mr, M & Son Malick are very nice and professional. I do not like the manufacture warranty policy that says if it’s covered under manufacture warranty home warranty will not cover it because manufacture warranty only covers the part I would gladly pay the money for the part to have the service done. I had an unidentified leak under my kitchen sink. Set up my claim very easily in the Choice Home Warranty website. A few hours later, I had a very detailed and communicative plumber from Above and Beyond Plumbing in my home who found, and corrected, a slipped p-trap and a broken glue seal on an outgoing drain pipe. Yeah! No more water on the floor! The plumber cleaned up after himself and sent me an invoice by email making the single, small payment easy. My overall experience with Choice has been satisfactory. Actually, I have only had one really negative experience over the last couple of years working with them. That was when my heating unit need to be replaced. A very large expense which is the reason most people sign up for these type of services. The refused to pay and I had to come out of my pocket to cover that replacement. Actually, They did also try low balling me on replacing my dishwasher and I had to fight to get proper compensation. Getting someone out to do a repair has been good. Definitely saves me time and heart ache troubleshooting and attempting minor repairs. That alone gives me a positive out look on my experience with them. However, when it comes to an appliance replacement or major expense be prepared for a fight.

This is what I dislike. I wanted the same company who put the new unit in to comeback for the service call. With your current system it can’t be requested. Made fifteen calls to get that company out here. Second thing I had an entire AC system put in the Florida house. I got the written Warrenty for both the inside and outside units. I have requested these for the Texas house units I have not gotten it. The company that Choice sent was great. Adam was very good as were the installers. I have found CHOICE to be a good value.

The two incidents that I had over the past couple of months were positive ones. I was notified each day about what progress was being made and I was informed of the opportunity I had to get my own contractor if that would be necessary, but in both instances within the 48-day contract period for finding service, Choice was able to address the issue. So there was no need for me to go ahead and operate on my own, so to speak. I just had to pay for the initial service call, which was a reasonable amount less than I would have been charged had I gone out on my own and searched for a repair person.

Their website's good. When I go on there I can put a ticket request on the weekend when I have time if it's a non-emergency ticket. And by Monday afternoon, I get a call from somebody that they're coming, so know that they sent it out already and somebody's answered. I've always had a really fast response and I can't think of any time that I've ever had to resubmit a ticket. It works out pretty good and I'm not really an online person.

I took advantage of a multiyear contract and I thought it was super reasonable. I got answers to my questions right away and they were real flexible on getting me the service I needed. Had a A/C call on the property and the guy had to come back out so Choice left the the request for help open and I only had to pay for them to come back out the next day.

Basically it covers everything. It's not just one item, it's everything, so for a warranty on everything, it's a good deal. Calling and setting up the claim and getting someone to come over was all very easy and fast. Everything was done in a very reasonable, fast manner and there was nothing left to complain about it, though it was an easy repair.
