This is my second Warranty issue on the same Microwave within two weeks. Both of my encounters were excellent. Unfortunately, the first serve call didn't work out. A computer board was replaced , but that did not resolve the complete problem and required a second service call [#246554220] 7/10//24. That call determined that the computer board was faulty and a new board would be ordered. Than new Appointment is set for 7/24/24 7am-11am [Progress AC & Appliances LLC]. I was charged $75 for each Technician Service Call for the same problem or the same piece of appliance within about 2 weeks. Putting all that aside, I am very happy with Choice Home Warranty's responses. I even recommended, within the last 10 days, your service to my friend, David K. T. and he took a 3 year policy.

I have tried several different Home Warranty companies Before I joined CHW, and they were nothing but nightmares.         I have been with Choice Home Warranty since September 6, 2023 Ever since, I used their service twice. The first time was when we had a problem with our bathroom shower faucet. I called them, and the agent who helped me was very courteous and very professional. She gave our contact information to the service company and sent us an email with all the details of the service company. The service agent who contact us and set an appointment with us, came over the next day. He was very professional, he replaced the faucet, and fixed the problem the same day. The second time I used CHW's service when our water heater all of the sudden in the middle of the night was making very loud noise. I called CHW's Customer Service first thing  in the morning, it happened to be on a Sunday. The plumber who came to replace the water heater was one of the best. He went and bought us a new water heater,  and replace it the same day. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CHW's Customer Service team for their professionalism and their fast responsive skills. Also I would like to thank the management team at CHW in processing and helping their customers' claims in a timely manner and for a job well done. I will make sure to recommend Choice Home Warranty to all our friends and family members.

Mark and Kaylon, the two guys that came to service my water heater did a very good job. They were on time, checked everything out, found the problem, even checked with their manager to verify their findings. They fixed the problem and checked to make sure everything was working right, cleaned up and left. These young men were the best servicemen that have ever come to fix something at my home. I paid for 7 years and am several years into the contract and the contractors have been below scale until now. I finally got something fixed.

I've only had Choice Home Warranty about 2 months. In that short time, both my refrigerator (icemaker) and stovetop were in need of repair after an energy surge. Not sure it caused the icemaker problem, but definitely did the stove. They sent repairmen out in a very timely manner (Frigidaire) and as soon as parts were obtained, it was fixed. It's terrible to be out of ice in Florida with the type temperatures we're having now, so was very happy to get my ice back.

Easy to file, document & work thru a claim. I can update my claim whenever I want and get a response back from the claims team in a reasonable amount of time. Their repairmen can service a long list of appliances, but we had one that was not on the list. They were easy to work with and understanding about us getting our own technician out to access our problem. The 4th claim we filed was on our dryer. Even though the dryer was out of warranty, the manufacturer replaced the dryer free of charge so no need for Choice Warranty to pay out. But they did walk thru the process with me.

The service was provided the same day I called it in. Great customer service. The repairman was excellent and did a great job on repair. Choice Home Warranty seems to have the best Home Warranty service available at this current time. As long as the service remains as good as it is with the price of warranty coverage remaining as it is; I will stay with Choice Home Warranty and recommend it to others.

I always receive a response from Choice within 24 hours after submitting a claim. For small projects, this is definitely a relief. The vendors are generally busy but good, except Sears Home Services (very unreliable and a lot of employees seem not happy). I hope Choice will have more small business vendors, those are generally professional and thorough.

I had another company offer an inexpensive a/c service to my unit then told me me unit had pressure problems and refused to work with Choice. I cancelled the appointment with that company and called choice to send out their a/c representative for a second opinion. They came out and said my unit was fine and cleaned and checked my unit. The Choice warranty saved me from being ripped off for unneeded repairs

I have been with CHW for a number of years and had np problems until this year. I usually rate 5, but because I had trouble with one of the contractors sent to my home. This person was obviously unskilled and had compassion for his job. He did nothing but looked inside my clean dishwasher, closed the door and said go to home depot and get some dishwasher Cleaner. (What) ???? I have dishwasher Cleaner. I gave it to him, he opened it and (sprayed ) it in my dishwasher, turned it on. Got paid and left. Water started to flow from under the dishwasher. I am upset. It took several days to reach him. Once I reached him.....he arrogantly said "I'm not coming back" call CHW. That got it with me.....CHW sent another contractor, out to find the initial problem. The first contractor really did not know what he was doing. Flooded my dishwasher with suds which caused the water to Sud from under the dishwasher. Other than that CHW has always received a 5 rating for years.

I am truly satisfied with my decision to choose Choice for as my Home warranty provider. My refrigerator went bad, unable to be repaired, Choice provided the replacement funds that help me to purchase a new refrigerator. The funds was surprisingly more than sufficient, providing the age of my old refrigerator. Thank you Choice the coverage in my warranty policy. For the most part it was a great experience. My only complaint was the amount of time it took to find a reputable technician to do the job. In fairness that could be just where we live. Really could not have been better! Have told my friends and family about Choice Home Warranty and how it is great to have the home warranty. Some of my friends have had home warranties and when they had a break down they would not pay. So that is why I have been telling them about Choice Home Warranty and that you stand behind your contract with the customer!

Great Technician resolved the problem right away for the leaking kitchen faucet. The plumbing service needs to hire more plumbers since there was more than 48 hours lead time. For the two wet spots around the shower, the technician checked them and instructed to wait and see if the spots expanding or not since his touched the spot and did not feel wet.

There were two different visits from two different service techs. Both techs were friendly, cordial and efficient with the washer task. First one diagnosed the issue and ordered a drain pump. The second installed the pump. Just about all is great with the Choice Home Warranty except: I would prefer that the appointment time specified on the CHW site would be more precise. In my case when I received the email before the service date (and later went to the site) it specified the appointment time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It would be better if appointment was narrowed down to a more specific time. As both my wife and I both work we cannot just take a entire day off. But if a more specific time was specified, say for instance 2 PM, then we could leave for our house before the appointment time and be there when the tech arrives as opposed to being at home all day waiting to see what time the tech arrives. Other than that everything else was good.

Whenever I called, they always answered my questions, even though I didn't agree with them. I used it just recently because there was a plumbing issue in the guest bathroom and the water went into the closet, into the back bedroom. And I thought that Choice Home Warranty would send someone to maybe suck up the water and clean the carpet in there, and they didn't. I guess that wasn't part of the plan. They fixed the issue and the person was very nice and everything and the issue is resolved. I used Choice to replace a ceiling fan and the technician was wonderful. It's just that when the technician called his boss about my ceiling fan, he had the boss on speakerphone, and you know what the boss said? He said, "Go to Lowe's and get the cheapest ceiling fan you can find." And I heard him and I got hot, I got really upset about that. I said, "No, you go to wherever you go and you get a ceiling fan just like the one that you're taking down." So they did put one in just like the one that they took down and everything's been working fine since then.

I've never spoken to anyone personally. I've always gone online. I had one claim and I just went online and took care of it. I used my warranty when we had a really bad cold spell here. The heater wasn't heating the house. I called them and told them I needed someone to come and check it because it wasn't working and it was really cold during that time. And they set up an appointment and emailed me the information. I was a little aggravated because we didn't have any heat. And it was so cold, but I understood that everybody probably was having problems with their heater when we had that cold spell. So, the guy did call me that they got to come out and said he had an appointment and that he would come out right away. So he did come earlier than the appointment that was scheduled. He was awesome, he looked at everything, he knew exactly right away what the problem was, he had the part with him. He fixed it, a super professional man, and got it started working, it started heating up immediately. So with setting up the service, I was at first I was disappointed because we were cold, and we had to wait, but then all of a sudden he got somebody to come and he called and we got in quicker. So it was really a positive experience after all.

We needed to replace our in-wall air conditioning and heating unit last year. And initially, I sent in the claim and because of the company that they had sent to our house, it took several months before it was resolved. And finally, it turned out fine. We did get a new unit for our wall unit, so it turned out fine. It just took, it took 4 or 5 months to get it settled. They came in and worked on the clothes dryer, and everything was great there. As for the warranty company itself, yes, they gave us the parts we needed to complete the claims. So everything with the warranty company was fine. It was just that we had one trouble with the heating and air conditioning company that came out.

I had some electrical issues in my house. I had a whole wall that didn't work. So I would say about ten outlets that did not work. And I was pretty sure they're on the same power breaker, but I wasn't for sure. So I called a professional through Choice. I called Choice and Choice found me a professional. And he did a great job. Problem solved, everything works. They just made it simple. They text message, email, whatever. They did a great job. I used to be a customer of American Home Shield for over 21 years, but their co-pays got up to $100. And the monthly bill was $100, so I'm getting the same coverage at Choice for $60 to $50 a month. And the co-pays are only $75. So that's a big deal to me.

I've used it 2 times. The first time, it wasn't all that good, and the second time, it was just a good experience. I didn't have to call in customer support. I just opened a ticket online, and I just followed up on the status online. I had to use it earlier for my refrigerator, and they asked me to contact the manufacturer and get it fixed through the manufacturer. So I was able to get it done. I've just used it 2 times. And the second time, it was just a good experience. The first time, it wasn't all that good. So I'll just give it some more time before I make any comments. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

They are always responsive and resolve problems. Other than providing excellent service, I would have to comment that it is at a very good value. We, for many years, used another famous home warranty company and at the suggestion of a friend we switched to Choice. It was essentially half the cost and much, much better service. We have used the warranty several times in the past few months, just file the claim online and within 24 hours, there was a response. And usually within a few days, we had a technician come and work on the issue. And in non-urgent situations, the issue got resolved within the latest within 2 weeks.

I have had Choice 2x times, 1 at 4 years and 6 months bonus and another at another 3 years and 6 months and both times had coverage that more than paid what was covered for all the appliances and certain things that breakdown in the house from leakage of showers in the second floor to plumbing in the toilets and sinks, to most of my appliances that were fixed or if not, given a credit to purchase another appliance from clothes washers, to dishwasher to microwave. I highly recommend them. AC is not much coverage really under specific terms so I don't rely on them for that. They are a solid company and back up most coverages. Oh yes and I just change my failing garage opener that was covered. They also do coverage on the springs of the garage I hear if that ever fails.

I like them so much. The last appointment that I made was for a refrigerator malfunction. My refrigerator stopped working and with the gentleman who was supposed to come out, I had to cancel it because it was still under warranty with LG. He spent some time with me on the phone and he went through a whole bunch of things with me. He was very helpful without even coming out. I had to cancel the appointment, but he called anyway to make sure and was extremely informative. He also gave me a lot of good information about the actual LG refrigerator that I had. So I was impressed with the customer service I got.

My first claim was a disaster as they denied the claim a day before the service man was suppose to be here. Once I got this corrected after 3 phone calls. The service man was here on time and was very professional but had to go back to company if they would approve it. Came back after and got clock working but the main call for light staying on after you turn stove off was not done although this was what my original phone call was about. Will try again later to see if I can get this fixed. 2nd claim was quick and easy although he charged me for a new remote which I expected but he also charged me for the small wheel the cable for the garage door goes up and down on. Garage door is working beautifully and I am satisfied.

I was skeptical when choosing a home warranty company. I made sure to do my research and look at a number of first hand reviews. I eventually settled with Choice Home Warranty, and it ended up being one of the better decisions I made. I had to make my first claim not to long ago and it went extremely smooth. My furnace went out and it has been cold so definitely needed it back up and running. I did the claim online and at about 9 that night and I had an appointment scheduled around 4:45 that morning. The heating and air company they used came was very responsive and they came to diagnose the problem. They had to order a fan assembly for my furnace. They got to my house around 10 that morning and the claim was approved within a couple of hours. Soon as the part came in they came right on out to get us up and running. I will definitely be renewing my policy with Choice.

I had an excellent technician who fixed my heater by installing a new motor. I would use this man again. He was professional and knowledgeable. What I dont LIKE I filled out your survey and gave high ratings, but when i wrote my response there were not 50= words. It wouldnt let me submit it. It took much longer than the 2 minutes I finally said, " the hell with it" and didnt submit it because I couldn't until I wrote 50 words. That is not right. You should accept what people say and not put a limit on the number of words. I am angry about that and it will effect if I continue with Choice or not

I was very please with the service and quickness when I put a claim for service for one of the showers in my house that was not working . No hot water was coming out. I called 12/20/2023 and was told by the agent that I would be called within 24-48 hours from the business that would take my claim. That same night Oasis Plumbing & Drain Service, Inc., texted me that I was schedule for 12/22/2023 between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. I had a question and text Oasis plumbing. I was told that if they had a cancellation they could possibly be there today 10/21/2023, I told them it was okay on Friday, this was at 11:25am. I was surprised when I received a call at 3:28pm letting me know they were on their way if it was okay with me. I was and the technician that came was very professional, knowledgeable, fast and after he finished he left my bathroom as it was before, very clean. My shower works perfectly now.

I have been waiting 2 months to get my oven fixed. Still not fixed. Also I am waiting on a refund for the premium I have paid for coverage on my hot tub. They have neither refunded nor changed my monthly fee because my tub is above ground which they knew when I added the coverage.

Choice Home Warrenty is very difficult to communicate with. It takes multiple months to have an issue resolved after filing a claim. They have a very rude phone representative that spoke like an internet troll - It was very intentional. Of that experience, he said there was no record of claims and said electrical was denied. I ended the call and sent an follow up email for clarity with another, and nothing the troll said was true (which makes sence), home choice had every record, electrical claim hadn't been denied. I called the technician too who said the claim was open. A technician that came to my house twice warned me against choice home warranty letting me know I'd be facing frustration and time sucks from them. They shared an alternative company that they preferred. The technicians that actually do the work and have serviced the house have been phenomenal (but they do not work for choice home warranty directly).

Sent in 2 request and both times it has not been good. 1st request I put exactly what I wanted done, and they sent out a plumbing company to do they work. Problem is plumbing company stated this is not covered by warranty and I had to pay out of pocket. I understand why they wouldnt cover it, by why didnt Choice read my email and catch this. THIS IS YOUR JOB. 2nd request i specifically said I need to find someone on a Saturday due to my work schedule. Once again no one read my email and just scheduled it for a Friday. I immediately cancelled the work order. Choice only seems to care about getting a subscription renewed as I get 5 calls a day. Tried to overlook this and my account manager called and said he was going to email me and leave his personal information, but like I expected he never did. Worst experience with a warranty company ever!

False advertising. When Choice says they will replace your appliance if they can’t fix it-they DO NOT. Read the fine print!!!! I had a dishwasher that could not be fixed. Choice sent me a letter saying they were replacing it but in lieu of replacing they sent me a check for $247 for me to replace my own dishwasher. Try to find a new dishwasher in today’s economy for that price. I had a nice upgraded machine too. This company completely inflates their advertising to sound too good to be true. Think again!

I am not happy with the service provided by Choice, as well as the fact they denied to replace my water tank that went out, instead they chose to repair it, which now my water pressure in my home is very slow and I smell gas in my laundry room where the water tank is located. The service technician advised Choice it should be replaced, however Choice decided to go the cheap route and now I am left with a hissing tank, low water pressure and the smell of gas in my home! Extremely unsatisfied customer!!!!

I have reported an issue with my garage door recently and was told the spring was bad and they need to have your authorization to complete the repair. The vendor company did not schedule an appointment despite several follow-ups and escalations I did with choice warranty. With garage door stuck for more than 10 days I had no choice but to get it repaired paying for the repair out of pocket as it was an emergency. I am too disappointed with choice warranty that I had to pay out of my pocket for the repair that was supposed to be covered.

I put in as claim a year ago this September & am still waiting for my new pool pump which was finally approved Every time I call I’m greeted by an automated system stem that orders me to put in my phone number for a call back. The entire year after many many calls I have NEVER gotten a call back My dealer who has the pump in his possession can’t get ahold of Choice Warranty either. THIS IS UNEXCEPTIONABLE & I’m very disappointed with your company. We’ll see if you fix it
