I've had to replace my dryer and they offered a gift card to purchase my own and it wouldn't delay the amount of time to get a replacement it was nowhere near enough. I still paid out of my pocket six hundred dollars for the same dryer. I was really dissatisfied about that because my other home warranty was just replaced dollar to dollar. I've had some good interaction with the costumer service reps and then I've had some not favorable interactions with them.

My garbage disposal was was broken and I thought it was the dishwasher because the water was coming through the dishwasher. I called up initially and when they got out here it wasn't insist washer and I was told I have to pay to service fee. They repaired the garbage disposal and I've had no problems since.

A hot water heater had cut off and they came and repaired it but it took almost four days to get it repaired frome the initial call to actually getting a service. It felt too long for an important thing like a water heater. It seems like the best option compared to the other companies for what they covered and the monthly premiums

I had a leaking gas valve on my furnace a couple of months ago. They had someone sent within a couple of days. He fixed it but had to get permission because it was expensive and they approved it and it was repaired. It was seamless. I haven't really dealt with costumer service I just do everything online.

They've kept in contact and provided a repair person very quickly. My furnace quit and it was very cold and it took them two days to find someone to come and fix it. He came on me scheduled time, did the work promptly and very efficiently and so I had heat. I'm quite satisfied.

For the most part, they were really a 5, the last call I had was more like a 2. It was a plumbing job. I was really disappointed with the guy who did the job. Total of $115 to do the job for a plastic faucet. My water pressure is half of what it was and the faucet is noisy. It has a stopper on it, but was never hooked up.

This company has the fastest response time I have ever had in a home warranty company. The repair technician is scheduled the same day or next day from the claim being initiated, and the repairs are completed quickly. I was unsatisfied with my previous company. Choice covers a lot more than that company. Their responsiveness is also better. I had a technician out the next day when my pump went out on my jetted tub. It was hard to find the part because it is older. The company they used was very good and customer service oriented.

Every time I call or submit a claim, someone has gotten right back to me. I had an issue with the dishwasher not draining, they fixed it with new parts. Everything I’ve had has been taken care of. The workman they recommended came to my home in a timely fashion and determined that my refrigerator needed a new door gasket as the magnets on the old one had stopped working, preventing the door from sealing properly. A new gasket was ordered and installed. I was told to close the door firmly for the next couple of weeks until it was firmly seated and holding the door tight. I do not feel that the door is sealing tightly yet. I will give it another week or so to see if the kinks will wear out. If not, I will be calling back to see what else is recommended.

The policy does not have turnkey replacement of appliances. When I had to replace an over-the-range microwave oven, instead of CHW taking care of everything like American Home Shield does, CHW only sent me a check that does not fully cover the replacement costs: (purchase, delivery, installation, and disposal (of old unit)). Additionally, the web portal to request service does not have a stored- CC-number payment feature to "touch a piece of paper / handle an issue only once." In other words, I have to interface on the service issue an additional time with the service provider for payment -- AHS has this feature. As a property manager, I interface with home warranty companies on their web sites may times throughout the month. I prefer those companies that use an AHS-like consumer interface process that allows me to take care of a repair/replacement issue with the least amount of work and hassle.
