I used them two times. Choice was very good at getting them out here quickly. They quickly responded to any questions that I had. The first time I used it was for my refrigerator and the people that came were very good, but they used my pizza stick - what I use to move pizzas around in the oven - to go under the refrigerator instead of bringing their own working tools.

Easy to set up claim online and questions I had was answered by live rep. I had no electricity in two rooms. CHW replaced my indoor HVAC unit, which was good. However, they charged me $1600 labor for the outdoor unit even though they only paid the technician $385 to install the indoor unit. CHW only used a unit that met the minimum SEER rating for my state. They had no procedure to allow me to pay more for a higher SEER unit. In addition, they tell me they will not cover any labor repair charges while the unit has any warranty on parts, even though the unit has 10 years on parts but only one year on labor. It seems the labor would be covered after the one year. I will need to consider dropping coverage next year.

Having a seller-paid home warranty has definitely helped us get numerous issues fixed with our home. Overall the quality of service has been mostly pretty good and being able to file a claim online provides a certain level of convenience. However there have been a few times when a technician has had to get approval from the warranty to fix some things which has sometimes caused a few delays. It can make things more complicated sometimes too, which is not convenient but a little confusing too.

Choice to the call, set up the contractor. Because it was urgent because of the hot water heater, they got the repairman on it right away. They sent a text stating when and who was coming. Professional, knowledgeable and was in and out in no time. I would recommend them even to my family members.

The process of filing the claim and getting it resolved in a timely manner was great and I was very impressed. I was not happy about the "unassociated costs" that are not covered, and I still had to come out of pocket quite a bit of money. I asked the representative when I signed up about the coverage and was told that yes, if you file a claim, you pay the service fee and then the list of items or issues that were covered at 100%. There is fine print about unassociated costs that are not covered that they do not tell you or explain clearly so it was very misleading what 100% coverage truly means. Be careful and read the fine print!!!

I had 2 plumbing issues but could not put them on the same claim thus had to pay the $75 service fee twice. It’s not about the money but the time involved for a tech that was in my house but couldn’t take care of the second problem. As a result it was 4 times I had to devote a day or half day waiting when it could have been only 2 times. One has not been resolved yet so add another day of waiting… this has been going on for awhile and I was told it was due to Choice not approving the part . This was my first experience with a claim so I’m hoping it gets better if I need to put in another claim

I would like to say everything was great but it is not washer broke on September 25th 2023 and it called for service that was great how fast they came out but they still have not fixed my washer and it is nov 2, 2023 called choice customer service to see what is going on after a week they tell me we are waiting on a part which is backordered I don't know when the part will get here I was told the only thing I can do is to have another service come out and start all over again waiting for a part which is on backorder. I understand about supplies being short, but I had to wait 9 months in 2020 for a dishwasher which was on backordered and never came. had to buy from someone else. just not a good customer service with giving information so I gave you 3 stars for how quick someone came out, travelling 6 miles to wash clothes is a pain there has got to be another way to fix this issue. Still hoping that the missing part may or may not work.

They quickly select a vendor and make appointments. I've used it on several occasions. One was for the AC unit which was making a noise. The contractor came in, took note of it, and said we needed to order a part. That was over a year ago and I'm still waiting. Another one was for my washing machine. I received a call from the contractor. I sent pictures and and pinpointed what was wrong with it. The technician came to the house, took a picture, said they needed to order a part and left, and I'm still waiting. Hopefully that gets resolved.

I had a pool pump that needed to be replaced and you weren't able to find anybody that would be willing to come do it, so I had to do it myself. You did reimburse me to the maximum amount. But I'm unhappy that I had to find a technician myself. The other thing about Choice is their marketing is too frequent. I get emails and calls probably at least two to three times a week to sell me a home warranty that I already own.

I think that they're very attentive. They know exactly what they're doing, so they respond to things quickly. Of course it takes time, but that's understandable, 24 hours to 48 hours. But overall, I'm happy. If they can identify a technician a little earlier, that'd be helpful. But again, that's understandable.

We've only had one claim and it went very well actually. My wife heard noise out of our air conditioning unit. We had the guy come out from the Choice vendor and he basically told us that everything was fine and there was a screw loose, so he tightened the screw. I guess it really didn't cost you guys anything, but it cost us $75, which was okay.

I needed to use my warranty the last time for my dryer and they came out. I called them, they sent somebody out, he diagnosed it, but he didn't have the part. So he had to order the part. When the part came in, I called them, but I had to wait another week before they could get somebody else out. But they fixed it right away. Both technicians were very curious and very knowledgeable. So I'm pleased.

Hi Jessica I had my refrigerator serviced and my dishwasher the same day. The refrigerator is great! I was assuming the tech was order parts for my dishwasher the wheels keep coming off on the lower basket! I have not heard back about this!

Interaction with Choice Home Warranty was excellent. Interaction with the assigned vendor, not so much. A&E Factory Service (Sears) came out after about a week (Oct 3) and ordered parts for our refrigerator and an appointment was set up for two weeks after that to install the parts, one of which was backordered. I immediately found the back-ordered part available on Amazon and notified them to no response. When our assigned appointment date (Oct 17) neared I ordered the part myself and had it in hand to confirm the appointment with all parts received. There was NO response from A&E (Sears) and they did not arrive to install the parts. This vendor has proved unreliable. Any chance of getting someone here to install these parts (Refrigerator and Freezer compartment lights)? I will review CHW after the completion of my service request.

They did exactly what they said and they did it within the time margin that they gave us. I'm totally satisfied. We had problems with our air conditioning. It stopped blowing and we called them and they gave us a window of about 48 hours and they were within that limit. Actually, they were shorter and they took care of the problem.

Their claim process is very simple. It's very easy to file the claim and the claim resolution process is also very quick. The technicians come at a pretty quick frequency and resolve the issues. There is not a whole lot of going back and forth between the 'I need an approval' kind of process and things get resolved very quickly.

I put in a claim over a year ago and dealing with Choice was nothing short of a nightmare. However I continued with them and recently put in a new claim for a garage door issue. Their service and response time has improved greatly and everything went swimmingly. It’s like they had a ton of complaints about the way they handle their claims and have turned the ship around.
