We had a different company before and Choice matched to the service with a low cost. We had a problem with the washing machine, it was taken care of. We needed one part and because of Covid there was a problem but that wasn't because of them. The one time we needed them for the air conditioning, it was making a lot of noise, and the technician came out two times and found they couldn't do anything.

Customer support is really good. I had a few questions about what I covered and not covered and they were able to answer everything. It was great. I had my dish washer repaired. It took 4 days from the time the unit was ready to be picked up until it was actually installed. I was without hot water for the duration. I had to repeatedly call the plumbing company to see when they would get it. I found out that I was taking to dispatch and not purchasing Dept. So she called and got in touch with purchasing and found out the the wrong company was being emailed to pick up the unit. When the plumbers got here they Hsiang the wrong size unit snd had to go to Home Depot to pick a 40 gallon water heater with a 3 year warranty. For some reason I fell like I didn't get the unit I paid $500 for uncovered costs.

My air condition went out. Choice's guys came out and twenty minutes later it was up and running. I haven't had any problems since. They have good people that work for them to do their service. They promptly come out when they say they're going to come out. It's a good value what you pay for with the warranty. Because if you unfortunately have to use your warranty two three times you've paid for a year for the price of the warranty.

Told me who it was gonna be and they set up a time and everything went smoothly and technician was polite. There has been a little confusion but it was resolved but I think that could have been clearer. Any problems we've had they've been attended to right away and done well.

The quality is good, they were very effective ,they called someone right away and that's the person I expected at the appointment and he has been good. He ordered the parts and came back and installed the parts of the dishwasher but the he couldn't do that to the microwave. I've called them about the three appliances, I have the microwave oven and the dishwasher, the oven once and nothing was wrong with it they had the to reset the electricity on it and it worked, and the dishwasher had a minor issue that they fixed. The microwave apparently could not be fixed. I was only offered one hundred and ninety one dollars and that is not to mention the installment value because it has to fit over the oven. Customer support is good, they were very receptive they act pretty quickly. It has been a good experience on that level. I do have an issue with that refund the policy that I they decided to give me a replacement on my microwave but they didn't give me the full value are you really never understood why that is because for me to replace it I have to pay full value they said they won't do that.

We've had to use our warranty twice. Both times we have technicians out within forty eight hours of our service call, both technicians were professional on the job and with the problem being resolved fairly quickly. They offer a solid home warranty product that enables the customer to choose what level they want to service their home and it's a decent value for what you get. I've had great customer service at this point, haven't had any problems getting service or being administered.

It's easy to get a an appointment online. We didn't have a full replacement but other than that it's pretty good. I needed some help with our washer, the technician did everything he could to get that washer to work and it wouldn't work so we ended up getting cash. They always get back to me very quickly.

Some of the guys that they sent out haven't actually been companies that deal with what there's been out with. For example we had an electrical issue with the ceiling fan and he came out and looked at it and it turns out that there was a whole other a light switch that was attached to it which my husband got up and figured out on his own. So we paid a service fee for basically nothing. We also needed it to fix a washing machine. And they came out and fixed our washing machine. It definitely broke again but they did fix it the first time. They're usually pretty good about getting back but occasionally it takes a little while.

I'm not really a hundred percent satisfied. The process is not transparent, I would rather spend a couple hundred dollars more to get a peace of mind by going to a better company if they can offer me you know no hassle service. I would want them to be more professional. Recently I requested for a repair on my cooktop and the company came, the technician came he tried his best to fix it, he said he needed to order some parts and come back. A couple of days later I got an email from choice saying my whole cooktop is in fact a commercial problem and they decline to cover any further repair on the cooktop which was absurd.

I need all burners replaced. Tech said others tested fine, yet my food was burning on them. I think he only had one heat control switch on his truck. He drove over 2 hours to service me. So I filed a new claim for the same problem and they are sending another tech again, 2.5+ hours away to diagnose the problem. I know the problem. It's the heat control switch. Meanwhile I only have one burner out of 4 that I can cook on. I was told repairs by local technicians. Tech in Dallas and Houston are not local. I am not happy. I can't cook a meal with only one burner. I am very NOT happy fine.

I like that my appliances are covered for repair or for replacement. Making a claim on-line or by phone is very easy. A response to a claim is reasonably quick, a response from a repair technician with an appointment date is reasonable, and can be adjusted between you and the technician. The repair technician assigned is usually knowledgeable and very professional. What I don't like is when Choice Home Warranty decides that my appliance is not economically repairable and issue an e-gift card to Lowes that barely covers half of the replacement cost of an appliance.

I have no problems with CW as they have been pretty efficient in what they do. I have had 3 claims in the last few years. One was a washing machine, which they replaced with a minimal check; the second was for a dishwasher which has never been taken care of and the third is for an electric kitchen stove which was decided to replace and I still have not gotten the info on the so called Lowe's Card. This one is only a month or so waiting.

It was a nightmare getting my refrigerator repaired. The Sears service tech was rude and said it was under manufacturer warranty. Waited another week for manufacturer to come out and charge me $75 to tell me it was no longer under warranty. So I had to wait anther few day for Sears to come out at look at the refrigerator again with an apology. He needed to order parts and would take about two weeks. After the parts came in, we had to wait a few days for a tech to come in. I was not home but my father in law was there to let the tech in. The tech was rude and kept complaining and broke one of the parts so he had to order another part which would take another two to three weeks. My father in law asked him why so long? And rhe tech became rude to my in law. My in law threw him out. Three weeks later we received the part and about three days later another tech came in and fixed the refrigerator. After almost three most we had a working refrigerator.

I have had claims before and they were handled timely and fairly, however, I feel that this time it took a long time to just talk to someone by waiting for a callback and the amount they were giving us for our replacement was not a lot. I don't expect to be paid retail price for a new appliance but #300 was the first offer which I felt was very low compared to the amounts we had gotten on other appliances. I am also a Realtor and have used Choice as my number 1 choice when recommending a warranty for my clients. I had ordered 3 new warranties the week I called in my claim but I will look around at different warranties and options for my clients as I am not sure this is the best warranty I can recommend for my clients.

They were more sufficient at handling claims. Customer support varies claim to claim, its adequate. The warranty that they say that they'll replace something that they can't fix doesn't hold true because of the fact that I had an item that they were unable to repair and they only gave me a substantial amount of funds to replace it, but not enough to purchase a new or one that would meet the needs of the one that I needed to replace. Quality of service is good because they answer the problem very quickly. I think that needs to be more specific about what they're able to you know restore when it comes to certain appliances, like furnishes and stoves and things of that nature. I think they need to be more specific on what they will cover and what they won't cover and plumbing problems what they will cover and won't cover.

The quality of service dependis on the supplier that they send and so far I've had a bad experience with one. I had a hot water heater that they told me that it was leaking and they end up replacing the water heater, I ended having to pay 400 dollars for it and Choice Home Warranty paid 579. And a week later the water heater was leaking again, the new water heater and they send another another plumber to the house and they figured out that it was not the water heater was leaking it was the pipe leaking to the water heater. So the company that they use, R&J plumbing charged me and charged Choice Home Warranty. And I talked to Choice Home Warranty they fixed the water heater that leaks for free and I had to pay the 65 dollar fee with that when I never was refunded for the 400 dollars that I paid. R&J plumbing said that just stuck to the story that it was the tank that was leaking but they threw the tank away. So that was a bad experience with one of the suppliers.

Choice has been very decent to work with. Have had 2 warranty issues in 2 years and both were handled well. Supporting contractors were professional and jobs completed promptly and fully. Garage door issue was most recently repaired and even the repair person was surprised the parts and labor were fully covered. That doesn’t speak well of many home warranty companies. Choice has met my satisfaction. Granted, both issues were under $300 each, but still handled well and promptly. Based on my experiences, I think Choice is better than average.

Because there was an issue with a leak in my attic. I thought it was the air conditioner and I had it check out by a Choice Tech. He stated it was my clue pipe and he would be back the next day with a ladder to fix x it. A day later a received an email from choice stating they didn’t repair what was not probably installed and i needed to contact a roofer. I contacted a roofing company they came out and stated that the leak was not from the roof that it was from the air conditioner.

My dishwasher went out and choice home warranty technicians came out they looked at it and then decided it it was best to replace the dishwasher and they do give a fair price for the replacement.

Very pleasantly surprised by the recent experience with Choice. Plumber was prompt, and did an excellent job in fixing my leaky toilet. Previous experiences with A/C repairs have not gone as good. Having to pay a service call just to find out Choice doesn't cover a part needed for the unit does not sit well. Other A/C problems have experienced similar poor Choice responses.

My microwave had an issue and as soon as I put in the actual claim, by the end of the day the a technician was set up to come out the following day to take care of it.
