I love the concept of a one-stop service for home maintenance but the actual business of identifying skilled tradesmen who will show up on time is harder than it looks. I’m very satisfied with the quality of work done so far but CHW’s failing to group the same category claims under a single contractor with one service fee, as opposed to three individual service fees of a single house call at $85.00 each, feels more like a hustle or scam. I will definitely do my homework before renewing my contract with CHW.

E-mails/communication from CHW can be vague/not responsive to questions/not provide coverage details of claim. The technician should not be the person providing replacement cost information. The technician's report & CHW's response should be provided to the policy holder !!!!! CHW should not send policy holder any emails concerning a system repair, before the technician has the repair parts. Have been satisfied with technicians sent for service call/repair. Have been specifically happy with IHN Appliance. Technician is prompt, courteous, informative.

Right now I would give them a ZERO. I had an air conditioner worked on less than 6 weeks ago. It's running constantly & not cooling the room properly. I called the tech he said I needed to make a new claim. I've been told he refuses to return to fix the problem. Choice told me they will let me know when they find someone to fix it. The over all service has been great. When we call and they took care of our issue within 2 days. The set up for the service technician to call and set up and appointment. The came out either repaired it or replaced it. This service in my opinion is awesome, and we continue to use Choice.

The man who came to fix our shower controls was great. He asked what the problem was and began his assessment by turning the water off for the house and then removing the shower handle. Saw that it only needed some lubricants. Great with customers.

You all hav even amazing at getting people out to my house when needed. But when it came time to renew my warranty, you all called my 4-6 times a day. That’s a bit much, and was very annoying. I knew it was time, and if I was unaware, I was made aware by the 3rd phone call within the same day. I would Hugh recommend not harassing your customers when they need to renew their warranty’s because this will make them not want to. This right here is the reason you all didn’t get 5 stars.

I had an issue with sink disposal not working. The claim process was easy to follow on through the web site. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He inspected and worked with Choice to replace the motor all within a couple hrs after arrival.

I've had three claims with Choice and I have to say I am quite satisfied. The only reason my review is not 5 star is that a plumber that came to repair a kitchen sink leak of a water filter hose caused a drain leak which was no noticed for 2 days. Instead of sending the original plumber back, a new one was assigned, and it cost another fee. That said, when my central air conditioner quit, in 110 degree temperatures, and Choice could not find someone immediately, they mostly reimbursed me for the repair I had done. All-In-All I would recommend Choice Home Warranty.

It has been okay overall. The only thing that seems to be going wrong is that there is zero communication between Choice and the vendor. Choice automatically schedules an appointment with me and does not inform the vendor wasting my time in trying to be available. I’ve learned to ignore the Choice appointments and to contact the vendor directly to see when they can make it.

I believe CHW does try their best to get service to their customers asap, it depends on the circumstances. During the severe heatwave, my AC went out. They weren’t able to send me anyone and offered my finding a tech ton my own which I did. My problem was getting reimbursed which I never was. I had difficulty managing the process due to my age (80) and lack of computer literacy.

Never as fast as I need, with no running water tho it's annoying daily...you always take care of me in the long run. Just wish you had more workers I guess. When an emergency happens it'd be nice to have it fixed in say 3 to 5 days. People are nice it just seems like no ones in a hurry anymore

The fan motor on my AC went out and so I called Choice to come out and fix. The technician showed up and diagnosed the problem. He put in request to Choice and they approved the fix. He can put in a couple of days and replaced the motor. Thank you Choice .

Choice is very quick to respond to calls! Quick to schedule appointments. Definitely worth the money! However, not their fault, but communication with the companies is sometimes frustrating! Also, when trying to find out when/if they were coming...their response was always "this problem has been resolved"...seems inappropriate until it is actually 'resolved'!

It took the person assigned about 45 minutes to fix our air conditioner……but we had to go rent a house for three nights because the temperature outside was over 100 degrees and it was 95 in our house. When we called to see what the hold up was, we were told by customer they do not care about emergency situations and that the contractor may not contact us for seventy two hours. We were not real happy about that. We had bought a five year contract and our payment on the contract was supposed to be $60, we were charged $65. We left AHS due to this same situation, poor customer service. Usually though with AHS, we heard from the contractor that day. We just left them due to several other customer service problems. But we had never had to rent another house because of a lack of caring about the customer before. Not real happy.

The service has always been great. The response time is exactly. And the providers they have had have been the best. The only down side it the price to have the service is getting to high to keep. In turn we will more then likely have to change to another company with a lower price. Not what I really want to do as like am very happy with Choice but when the price jumps $15 a month every year it adds up fast.

Took 3 weeks to even get a Choice Warranty company to even except my claim. But once excepted the company was good. Then took 10 days to get the equipment shipped. With Texas Temps 110 or higher we were miserable. But Liberty Air was wonderful !!!

I just used it recently on an outside A/C unit repair. It did take it did take several days, but I know it's very hot right now. A lot of people's units are having trouble. But the guy that came out, he came and went within 15 minutes. He fixed it. He figured out what it was, fixed it, came and went. I paid my copay and I was back to having an air conditioner that works.

Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of them and at times they don't get back to you when they say they will. I needed them for my air conditioner just about a month or so ago. I called them up and they made an appointment for like 2 weeks down the line and I needed an air conditioner fixed. Thankfully the company called me and changed the date and it got here in a couple days but when they got here they fixed it. They they put the parts in that it needed.

They've always been responsive. The vendors that they use are prompt in getting back to you and scheduling appointments. I had an air conditioning problem and called choice. Put in the claim and I had a vendor. The next day the vendor had to come back and do some extra work and got everything done and up and running.

They cover everything they need to cover. Haven't had a problem. Hot water heater started leaking and the guy came out and he was going to replace it, but then the company was going to have it on back order. So we ended up buying one at Home Depot and he installed it.

When we called them, they gave us the time that they were coming out and they were here and there were two young men that came out and were very helpful. My air here went out and they sent someone to come in and fix it. It was a wire that had come loose and he came in and it was done in less than 15 minutes.

They came out, I paid $65 and they fixed my dishwasher. I also had a problem with a freezer and they fixed it too. They came back pretty quickly and they fixed everything so I was happy. The technician was very neat. He put a cloth down and he didn't make a mess.

Everything's good. Just recently we needed to use it for garbage disposal and the technician wanted to replace the disposal wall outlet and breaker from the fuse panel. So we're just waiting for that to come through. I get phone calls to keep up with the appointments and the appointments are normally on time.

Everybody was very helpful and they answered all my questions. Very professional. My stove was worked on this morning and not all the job was finished because they said it was too expensive to order one of the components that the stove needed and that I would have to call back within 30 days to refile again. I think that's a waste of time and they should have done it right then and there instead of my having to wait another 3 weeks. So I wasn't too happy about that.

Just a couple of weeks ago I need to use my warranty for the fixture in my bedroom. Every time I put a bulb in, it would blow out. I had to call Choice to have somebody fix that so that I could have more light up there and they came within a day or two, did it very well, was very nice and it was all good. I haven't had a problem yet.

I used it for my hot water heater when it went out and the company and choice warranty don't see eye to eye on appointment times. The guy came out and fixed my hot water heater and he told me that it was going to be good for six months and then it would go out again. I thought I got choice home warranty to replace it, but they said they only pay you so much of it for a new one. They rest comes out of pocket. Another time I had a frigerator that went out. I had to replace with another refrigerator. They came out and they looked at and they told me what was wrong with it and they said, well we can't repair it. They won't pay for the repair costs of the of the of the refrigerator, which was I think was a wrong deal.

It's difficult to get customer support. The biggest issue I've been having is that the way their system is set up is if I file a claim for let's say my HVAC for an issue and HVAC personnel come out, they'll look at it, they'll fix it or say it's fixed and leave. I have a similar issue or the same issue pop up three to six months later and then different technician comes out and gives a different idea of what the problem is. Says it's fixed, then leaves and the third technician comes out six months later and says it's a different problem and then comes back to the company and says that it's a problem with installation from 20 years ago and it's the third person who's been out. And then I'm out my HVAC money because they won't replace it. And literally just happened $6500.

I just used it last week I called them. My clothes dryer went out. I called them on a Friday or Saturday, and that following Monday the guy was out here and looked the dryer over and figured out what was wrong with it. He had the part right on the truck so I didn't have to wait and it's still working great.

Claim was submitted and they sent a repairman and the work was completed. Initially they sent a crazy number of emails that didn't have logical subject matter, so whoever's doing their marketing campaigns needs to be more clear in their advertising. I finally just unsubscribed from all of it because I don't have time to deal with two or three emails a day.

They don't always cover everything. Whenever I've needed to use it, I would go online and let them know what I need and they will get right back to me and then they would send someone out. They would tell me who's going to come and the provider would call or text me and say I've been dispatched to take care of whatever the issue is and they usually work with me on the time for them to come. They always respond to my request. Whenever I need someone I get a quick turn around.
