Choice Home Warranty is basically a scam. They will take all of your money up front, but find some bogus reason on why a broken appliance is not covered. Out of the 4 claims I have filed, 0 of them have been covered. They are in fact all valid though. I am now in the process of taking them to small claims court.

This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. They sent me 3 appointments with 3 electrical companies who didnt even work for them. I had to get my own. So why pay for this service? I lost money paying them for nothing. Do not sign up with them.

I have been without a refrigerator for a month. They sent a tech that I told them keep calling himself flirting. Then I explained that he stated he would get the parts in his own if I make dinner for him. It never stopped and yet I'm messed up at the end. I won't give another dime!

Not satisfied with the recent service I received on my furnace. It is still doing the same thing it was doing before he came. All he did was change filter which he said was blocking air flow. We had just changed filter two weeks before. I would like to cancel my contract.

Sewage was backed up in my bathroom; in the tubs, and they scheduled me for appointment with a plumber three days out, it was horrible! But when the plumber came it only took him 10 minutes to fix.

This is the worst company ever I SWITCHED and in the process of switching back they dont like to pay out or fix things,2 techs advice me to switch fast cause this company is bad and they r right ,I had nothing but bad experience with them,they are very rude and unprofessional, all along hold times.and late or no response when emailing.

They were unwilling, after two separate opinions, to cover a simple heat pump compressor. They claimed that it malfunctioned for reasons other than wear and tear.....! I cancelled immediately and they hung up on me when I asked why they have a F rating with the BBB.

I have had my policy for almost 4 months and have had nothing but very poor customer service. They just don't want to abide by the policy agreement. They deny or delay claims and don 't respond to appeals or call backs not to mention the time it takes to get a call through. The company sucks!!!!!

Unfortunately there vendors are of low quality. They encourage them to state the problems in a way that can be decline by the Choice and force the consumer to accept the vendors qoute for repairs. So it’s a Ron win situation to the vendor and the warranty company , but not to the consumer

Choice is a horrible warranty company i thought American home shield was bad but choice is the worst. They have very strict rules on what they cover along with certain things you have to pay for out of pocket. I know now choice was the wrong choice for warranty for my residence.

Plan doesn't cover much. Choice has very limited coverage and lots of exclusions and even when you read the written warranty and think you have coverage they argue, deny your claim and offer to send a check for a fraction of the repair cost. I have Choice HW coverage on 2 properties and would never use them again!!

Buyer beware! Very disappointed in the claims process, we even filed an appeal which did no good. Even with 2 independent contractors disputing Choice’s technicians findings they would not approve the A/C replacement that was needed. Total waste of our money.
