They are knoweldgeable, friendly, and professional. The repair person came out and he was outfitted with his mask because of the virus and he came in and inspected the appliance and told me what was wrong and what needed to be done. Then he had the parts and he repaired it and was on his way. They are very responsive and prompt.

Whenever I call, I get immediate service. If they cannot provide the service that they use, they will let me use someone that I know and then they will take care of that bill. When you call, they assess your situation and provide the service needed in a very timely manner with professional people that come to your home that are very professional, very considerate and get the job done. Just two weeks ago, my refrigerator door and my freezer tray were messed up, so I had to replace the tray and the door handle and they also fixed my ice machine as well, it was fixed in a timely manner and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would tell anyone that does not have this to purchase it because it is a very good service for what you pay for. It saves you hundreds and hundreds of dollars in the long run. I'm extremely pleased with Choice Home Warranty and I would recommend it to anyone.

The first time we called, it was the dishwasher. It had water in the bottom of the dishwasher and he came out and discovered that the garbage disposal had a loose connection and was causing the dishwasher not to drain properly. They've met all my needs, they take care of all my issues. I have something pending right now--the dishwasher was broken and someone came out to fix it but they said they needed the parts. But then it's been two weeks without and hearing from the company or anything, so we called back Choice Home Warranty about it and they took care of that situation and they called us and said they're gonna replace the dishwasher and they're supposed to give us a gift card for so much money to replace it.

We've used our warranty twice so far. One was a light not working in the freezer or the refrigerator. We were contacted promptly, he came out had to order a part, came back within a week, and got it fixed very promptly. The second was the dishwasher that was not functioning properly. They came out, did some cleaning work on it, and fixed the problem the first time. Their customer service was very prompt, they immediately responded to my concerns, and their people that they have selected contacted me immediately and were timely in their response. So far I've been pleased with them. I've used other home warranty people before and I actually was very pleased with them. The price that Choice came in with was significantly cheaper than who I used previously and so far I've been pleased with their work.

I posted a claim online with a problem I was having with my garbage disposal. They responded quickly. A plumbing company called me the same day with an appointment for the next day. The company kept in constant contact until the technician arrived. He installed a new disposal the same day after seeing a faulty connection causing it to drip water. Not sure how long it was leaking water but I did have a mess under the sink! After having a “not so good” experience with a previous claim, I’m happy with this experience. First time we had to use our warranty. Phone is answered 24/7. The person on the phone was so helpful, starting the claim was a breeze following the easy prompts. The technician (Billy) was great very experienced. After his diagnosis he could not do the work. First call 4/19/21 Tech shows 4/26/21, not able to work on sealed system. New contractor must be found, Johns appliance repair is contracted 5/10/21. Then I receive a call and County refrigeration is not coming on 5/4/21. I then get a e-mail to be able to hire my own tech if they are certified to do the job. Professional Appliance repair is contracted by me and they showed up 1st day 4/29/21. Diagnosing is in progress and needed parts on the way. If my suggestion of hiring/contracting with Professional Appliance repair on the first day was taken into consideration then this would not have taken so long.

They responded to me immediately they sent somebody over I believe the day after my complaint and that person diagnose the problem unfortunately he diagnosed it improperly. They sent a second technician over for it's a different problem which didn't exist. So electric and had to come back a second time to fix the problem. I'm not too happy with that. This last experience, we had a failure on our electric stove in the kitchen we called in the claim and within an hour so we got the call from the service provider. The actual service technician was going to come out that was really a good response. They come out when you call, they send someone right away, it doesn't take forever, and it was so good that I that I've recommended it to one of my relatives and they have Choice now as well. Also, it's not that expensive. Last time I used it, there was this banging noise--the toilet was acting up--and they came in and and fixed whatever it was in the toilet, it was great, it was quick, and they had the mask on and everything. It's hard to get through on the phone, and I almost always have to reschedule with the provider. Recently, my garbage disposal stopped working. I put in a claim on your website and I was scheduled for a visit ten days after I put in my claim to say something was broken. I called the provider and I got a visit scheduled for two days instead of ten days. They came at the beginning of the time window--I was very happy I didn't have to wait around for them for hours--and they quickly and efficiently fixed the disposal. I had already given them my card so I didn't have to wait for anyone to go out in the van and clear the card so I'm very happy.

It's just a very good experience with Choice Home Warranty. I had one opportunity to call them a couple weeks ago about my dryer and during that call, it was easy to get an assignment done with the contractor. He was here the next day and fixed the dryer at that time. With the other company I was with before, that same item would be five or six day turn-around. I was also able to include my pool in my warranty for a cheaper rate than what I was paying with the previous company for twelve years.

It's the second year I've had the warranty and I've only had to use it twice. I had one not-so-good experience and one great experience so that's I'll keep it for another year and hopefully everything works out like the second time. The first time I needed to use it was for an electrical problem, and I waited three days and they never contacted me. They said they couldn't find anybody, and that's why I got kind of discouraged with it but then I ended up fixing the problem myself. The second time, I had a problem with my heat pump, and when I reported it, somebody contacted me the same day and had a contractor call me to set up an appointment for the next day. The service was top notch--they were right on the ball--and I was satisfied that time because they had somebody come the next day.

I think homeowners should have warranties like this, because even though I can DIY a lot of stuff, every homeowner should have it because you don't know when something's going to happen. The service is good, I used it within the last month. I had kitchen stove knobs sticking on and they wouldn't turn off completely, and the guy came out and checked them out. The salesman called and offered me everything I was looking for in a warranty, so I decided to go with them. The support was very good because every time I called, they were respectful and gave me great service. My unit upstairs was blowing only heat upstairs and not downstairs so we called them. The technician came and looked at it, and showed me that I had my vents closed and they were really dirty. He showed me how to take care of it and was very helpful. When it comes time to renew my contract, I will definitely be doing so because I'm very happy with them. I bought a plan with Choice because I just bought a home and know how things can break especially when the home is old. My air condition unit and handler need to be replaced (mind you from wear and tear) not anything that I did or can control and Choice will not replace it or even help replace it. This is after I had to file several claims to get to this conclusion. So they are basically telling me that I got ripped off using their company. I plan on getting a prorated amount back from them and never using choice again.

Someone was out on 4-19-21 to repair my washer. After 2 or 3 loads the washer is doing the same thing it was doing before it was “repaired”. The tech asked me to call him if I had any problems and I have with no luck so I have put in for another service call. Another 85.00. By time this is done I could have purchased a new washer for what I’m paying in service call fees. It sucks!!

Most everything was fine. Chris was a great technician. Finished the repair very quickly. If I had any complaint, it would be that for refrigerator/freezer repair, same day service should be a must. We lost some food because of having to wait a day. That being said, Choice Home Warranty served us well.

Overall, they have good customer service. However, I requested that my air conditioner be replaced and I did not get a confirmation on that, I just got a denial which I was not very pleased about. I ended up having to spend fifteen thousand dollars on an air conditioning system.

My first call to CHW to inquire on their coverage and cost was satisfactory. The Representative sounded very confident and knowledgeable, and was able to answer all my questions with his great sense of humor - amazing! To add icing to the cake, I was offered a deal that I could not refuse! I trust that the services being offered will be just as efficient as the Rep, when my plan comes into effect.
