Called the next day, was told it would take a few days. Based on the run around I’m getting over a bill, I am canceling my account

Impossible to get a hold of, especially on week-ends. Total lack of concern for loss of A.C. in 90 degree+ temperature. Would not return calls. Please cancel warranty and send refund for remainder of warranty. This company should not be in business.

Once again Choice has decided not to pay for my issue to be fixed. For every attempt to use this "warranty" I have had to fight just to have them pay something. This is a terrible service and I regret having used them when there are so many others on the market.

Put in for a leak in my upstairs apartment and paid plumber. Then to find out it’s not covered. They said they emailed me and I’ve checked dozens of time to find out no email was sent and plumbing is part of what is paid for.

I put a claim in bc my pool pump went out and now they’re refusing to fix it and they’re questioning and asking about a paid claim from a year ago. They replaced a pool pump and want to see the receipt. They have a receipt already and I don’t know why they’d wanna see another.

Worst company ever. DON'T go with choice . They do not pay claims, they take forever to send a tech out and it multiple times the tech has to come out and when you cancel, you don't get your money back even with 7 months left in your contract. Worst company ever!!!!

We are currently in a COVID 19 nightmare. My washer has been broken for 3 weeks and my technician is struggling to find my parts. Choice Home Warranty needs to offer me a rental washer temporarily until the parts can be found. Laundrymats are closed and we can't go anywhere to do laundry. Instead, I get the routine answer of waiting on parts.

I paid $500 for 12 month coverage. 1st claim to fix range hood. Paid additional $65 for visit. Choice emailed and said range hood repair not covered because its electrical. So they just deny claims until you get tired of calling them. Dont get suckered. Im out $565

Had 5+1 year with 2 years gone: 1) incompetent technicians who can not fix the problem. It is just a dispatching company. 2) for urgent needs they take forever. Asked for refund: they offered $200 odd for using 2/(5+1) years. where practically they are useless. do not waste your money. RUN AWAY

Upon review of your specific claim, the failure that occurred to your unit, is not “Included” in accordance with the terms and conditions of our policy. Although this type of failure wasn’t covered under our policy terms, this is only 1 out of the 15 systems and appliances in which we provide coverage.
Therefore, if another unit/system/appliance breaks down due to normal wear and tear, please visit the Choice Home Warranty website where you can place a claim online.

Called about a water heater not working . I received a response they would be at my house at 9-11 in 2 days. Time came, they changed it to 3. The a woman called my house from the plumbing service to teach my wife how to fix the heater. The man showed up at 6, did n inspection and stated we need a part or new heater. Be back tomorrow .

I submitted a claim about 8 hours ago and haven’t received a call yet!! The email said it may take up to 6 hours to get an email from the company who was going to do the work and I haven’t heard from them yet!!! I’m thinking about getting someone else to check it out!!!

I told the young woman that took our information that is was a humidifier that was not one that sits on the floor in the house . I explained repeatedly that it is in our attic attached to the heating system. If your company does not cover it she should have told me and not dispatched a heating company. One star is too good for these people. Absolutely painful trying to force them to warranty anything. They send far less than professional repair people who do not know how to do anything other than to collect their $80. service, waste of time and money fee.

Unfortunately, we will not be renewing our contract- we have called out Choice Home Warranty on 4 different occasions over the past year- paying $75.00 per call out- for nothing. Each problem we had- turned out NOT to be covered under our warranty ie- pool heat unit, electric tripping, aircon problem. Absolute waste of money.

Dishwasher has been out of commission for over 1 month. Worst service I've had with a warranty company. I understand that they are not the ones doing the repairs but they are the ones who contracted these Yahoo's. Meanwhile my 80 year old parents are having to still wash dishes by hand.
