Great system for contact, oversight of my problems by a single individual and she's really on top of her game, plus she has excellent back-up. Things are just "supposed to" happen - they do! Then there's follow-up later to make sure all service/repairs have solved the problem. I've had another "top-rated" home warranty. Choice Home Warranty is way out in front in every way!

I had 3 problems in my home. My stove top burners quit working, my shower head was spraying the ceiling due to clogging I. The rain head and the previous owners left us with clogged bath tubs, sinks and a toilet that would keep running and not fill the tank. I’m pleased to say all of our problems have been taken care of. They were always on time, knowledgeable and professional. They worked around my schedule which I was so thankful for!

I had a problem with my stackable washer and dryer. The first time I called on it I bd was having water coming out the door. Only one man came out knowing that it was a 2 man job, he removed the part that you put softener or bleach in so every time I did laundry I had to dump the water that filled up in the drawer. I dealt with that for 6 months and called back, 2 men came cleaned out the drawer put the part back in and out worked fine. It wasn’t about water pressure like the first guy said ! It was fixed with the 2guys that came last! I’m very happy

The communication between Florida Pro Services and me was very slow. Finally, once it was approved it went quickly and the technician (John) from Florida Pro Services was great. But, I was out of air conditioning for 10 days at 99 and 100 degree weather and I am 86 years old with a heart condition and being without air was brutal. I feel there should have been better communication with me. On day 11 John came back and got my air conditioning system going and all is well!!

I’m new to Choice, I’ve only used them once for a cooktop. Everyone was nice,. The only complaint I would have is the longevity from the time you call for something broke until somebody actually shows up. I can see where this will be extremely problematic in the summer if your air-conditioning broke. So far so good. I have several houses. I’m giving this one year. If it works, I will get the warranty on all of them.

"They were very quick to respond. Repair man they sent was very knowledgeable and friendly. He arrived on time with new hot water heater and went to town to get the parts that he didn't have with him. He explained what had happened with old heater and what we could expect with the new one. He was very neat and cleaned everything up before he left.

Choice Home Warranty provided quick responses for my problems. Sometimes a week is too long to wait for a repair. I would like the assigned repair company to call and let me know that they have the repair order and see if they are able to get to me sooner. This last problem, the repair facility never did call. Another company was assigned but this was another week. The 2nd repair facility couldn't find a clean out and poured a chemical in the drain to open it. he said that should do it but to wait a few hours for it to work and left. The drain did drain better but does fill up after a few minutes. Maybe he should have called back and verify that the problem was solved but did not. He was very polite and had a professional appearance. I would rate him with an 8 out of 10. I guess I will buy a commercial grade drain cleaner and see if that works. I may need to locate where the drain clean out is. this may require me to hire a plumber ti do that??

For the first time, I had to use my warranty service for a leaking water pipe. I was impressed that there were several ways to contact Choice - online, telephone, emails. Within a day, CHoice had lined up a company to fix my leak and within another day, the company had contacted me to set up my appointment. The company assigned was rated 4.6 out of 5 starts - I was grateful since my last warranty company assigned a repair company with a 1.6 rating and it took 9 days to get to my house to fix my problem. The repair company for my leak came as they said they would and fixed my leak quickly and professionally. I was very pleased with everything - the interactions with Choice, the timing and friendliness of the repair company, and the follow up by Choice.

Twice Choice sent servicemen out to fix my range. Twice the serviceman stated that they would order parts. Twice when I call to verify if the parts were approved Choice states the servicemen closed the tickets as being successfully repaired.? And I had to pay $85 each time.

Horrible customer service and you guys will not fix anything. I will never recommend Choice Home Warranty they make you jump through hoops and only fix the minor things. Then when you try to cancel your five-year contract, they want to charge you for every dime they’ve spent at your house so you do not get any money back, they are a scam.

Didn't like the fact that the first offer was low, it was changed when I called though. I didn't like that the funds are in the form of a Lowe's gift card and having to wait 30 days to get it. In the mean time I had to go buy a new dryer now I'll have a Lowe's gift to try and spend. If there is that kind of wait wait 30 days a Visa or Master Card gift card would be the better choice.

This was my first claim filed with Choice Home Warrenty and if I knew how slow and unresponsive this company would be I would never have purchased my warrenty with them. I submitted a claim for my fridge on July 1st and they claimed for over a week that they could not get a contractor in to see the unit. I called on July 8th and had someone come out that day. My fridge was deemed irreperable so I submitted photos and documentation from the contractor recommending a new unit be purchased. I was told I would receive a gift card from Lowe's to cover the cost of a replacement unit. The exact same fridge that had broken cost $100 more at Lowe's than the amount of the gift card and it was currently on sale due to Independence Day. I was not trying to upgrade or get anything more than what was under warranty and I had to pay out of pocket for that. I was also told that I would receive my gift card in the next 30 days. It was impossible to wait until I receive the gift card to buy a new fridge since I had already been without one for over a week. So now I have a unused Lowe's gift card and a credit card bill of almost $600. Too bad I'm stuck with Choice for another 5 eyars

Made two claims and would get an automatic appointment for the service but within an hour the appointment date and time would change. For one of my claims a guy came out and barely did anything to our AC unit and let us know he needed to get paid beforehand then told us we needed to call an electrician for that. Then we reached out for an electrician and noticed that the appointment that was made was not going to work out for us since we both work. I called and asked if he had any other day with a later time and the guy just blatantly said “no I don’t know what to tell you.” Didn’t even offer to find another day for us. I canceled that appointment and then called to schedule another company and within the hour I had three appointments made then canceled, rescheduled and canceled again.

In addition, they would only give us a Lowe’s gift card not a check. We are forced to purchase only from Lowes now. Obviously, they get a kickback. Save yourself the hassle and find another warranty company although I fear they are all the same kind of crooks!

i would give zero and never recommend . bought their warranty . It happened that i claim pressure valve of heater water replacement , they sent me checking guys and paid $75 and and the company asked repair cost . i asked them what they mean repair cost, they said go fix yourself and send us the cost and then reimburse you , weird - right ! , anyways I called my area company to fix it and sent them the receipt. and they replied since you already paid we do not cover it . I called customer service and transferred to so called manager , said since you buy the house recently we do not cover it . I explained the house and the pressure valave was working fine and now needs repair and showed the inspection done after i bought the house , he said we do not reimburse you, really , why then i bought you warranty. I just hung the phone , do not let them make my day feel headache. never never recommend them, scam-

**Review for Choice Home Warranty:** I am extremely disappointed with Choice Home Warranty. They are just like all other home warranty companies that place the burden of scheduling with the contractors on the customer. While they may facilitate the initial connections, they do nothing to ensure timelines are adhered to or that work is completed promptly. I've had an open problem ticket for almost two months now, and Choice Home Warranty has done absolutely nothing to resolve it. Every time I call them, I receive the same unhelpful response: "We thought you were okay with the timeline because you said nothing." This is unacceptable and highly frustrating. The lack of proactive customer service and follow-through on their part is unbelievable. I would not recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone looking for reliable and efficient service.

My refrigerator/freeer quit working on July 17. You sent a technician out on the 20th and he said the appliance was not able to be fixed. He sent in his report and I never heard a word back from anybody. I asked the technician to send it again, which he did. Still nothing. I tried calling CHW SEVERAL times but I got recordings telling me to leave my phone number and some one will call me back. They never did. I finally got in touch with a representative that was involved in my last claim and she told me they didn’t receive a “diagnosis “ so she reinstated my claim and is sending out another technician! I have been without a refrigerator and freezer for 20 days.i am not happy with CHW at all. If it was a couple hundred dollars, I would handle it myself but a new refrigerator is too expensive That’s why I bought a home warranty which apparently is useless. Never again! Very poor customer service. Nobody ever contacted me that there was a problem with the service technicians report. I think they hope you’ll get discouraged enough and will just go away. I would not recommend CHW for a home warranty.
