After 20+ years with American Home Shield, I switched to CHOICE Home Warranty because it was half the monthly price and the reviews were great. Sooooo glad I did. Several repairs needed to be done with the air conditioner and each was approved and repaired in short order during a week of excessive heat warnings and 100+ temps. They were great!

Relative to the A/C repair the service was very prompt and satisfactory. The tech was friendly and found the problem right away and fixed it. However we are having trouble with the ceiling fan replacement. The tech has been here 3 times and has not brought the right replacement yet. The warranty says that items will be repaired or replaced with like kind items. My ceiling fans are 52 or 54 inch brass fans with light fixtures and downrods. My home has 10 foot ceilings and the guy showed up with a white 42 inch flush mount fan. That's not going to work.

The service pays for it self. I needed a new ice maker and the cost to have that repaired without coverage with Choice would be more than my annual contract cost. That was just for one maintenance repair. The peace of mind to have the coverage with Choice home warranty is priceless.

The issue of my ice maker was resolved with no problem. I had another issue with plumbing and couldn’t get the automated system to get me to the right person. So, I had to pay $300. To a plumber to have problem fixed. This was something that is covered. That I am not happy with .

Choice was fine in dealing with them, however the plumber they referred us to could not get appointments in a timely manner, and they didn't fix issue on first visit. They had to return and then installed a damaged faucet. The tech shut our water off at the street which wasn't necessary. They had to return a 3rd time to replace damaged part on faucet. They didn't turn our water back on all the way so we had no pressure. I had to have a person come out, at my expense to discover and fix water pressure. They wouldn't replace same faucet and offered a cheap fix. I had to pay them 100.00 to use same faucet we had. Not really a good experience.

Up to May this year I was with one of home choices competitors. In July, I actually had to call in my AC was inop and they had a technician out in 24 hours and they diagnosed the issue order parts and had it up and running in a week. Granted it was a long hot week waiting on parts, but simplistic in getti g everything competed.

We had air conditioning issues. Choice Home Warranty uses Very Skilled professionals. That is the Most important consideration when your home needs service. Andres from Farenheit 1 came out. He is professional, communicates clearly, and knowledgeable. We like him so much, we are going to have him do our regular maintenance.

We had a problem with our circuit breakers. We aid to have someone come out (Baltimore Wiring.). Within a week we were still having issues with the breaker tripping. I called Baltimore Wiring several times to let them know it wasn’t working. They would not answer or reply back to me. I called CHW several times to ask for assistance with our electrical system. I was told they would contact Baltimore Wiring. To this date I have not heard from either company. The least they could have done was reimburse us for the $85.0 0 since the work was never done completely resolved. We had to pay out of pocket because we didn’t have lights in our bedroom.

Bought a house during the winter and when summer hit the AC unit worked for a short time and then needed to be replaced. Choice sent someone out and agreed to replace the unit quickly. I'm fairly new to Choice Home Warranty and recently I had the opportunity to make a claim for my clothes dryer. I filed the claim online very easily and they contacted me right away to confirm everything. Within a day I had an appointment with a technician. The repair person was fantastic! We've been with Choice for years and value the service. From minor water issues to a new AC, they've had us covered. It relieves some stress to be able to submit a claim 24/7 online and have someone assigned usually within 24 hours. They have never denied an item listed in our contract. Speaking to a person about a claim submitted is difficult, but usually not required.

Once I reaches out to Choice they had a repairman come out in 2 days to diagnose the problem. He ordered the replacement parts for the dryer. We were very pleased from beginning to end. My out of pocket expense was $85. Before contacting Choice I reached out to the Samsung and they did a video call diagnostic said we may not have the replacement parts and then offered me a discount on a new dryer.

Some of the things I like about Choice Home Warranty are cost and a variety of plans to choose from. I've used the plan twice and when needing a repair their online program was very easy to use . Just ad promised I was notified quickly with a response to a repair and scheduling options and a choice of cash or credit card. Overall this has been a positive experience. I was offered to choose and contact the repairman I wanted and once approved and repairs completed I was to submit my receipt for reimbursement. There is a small learning curve to the process as a new customer but they communicate frequently and help you to successfully submit a claim for reimbursement. I am glad that I purchased the Home Warranty through Choice Home Warranty and have already signed up for another year. It has only been a few days since submitting my request so the check hasn’t arrived but I am confident that this will work just as seamlessly. Their Customer Support was quick and professional and eased any concerns I had related to the company and its quality of service.

I had an issue with my refrigerator. They did come out several times to work on it. It had a twofold issue. Inside top would stay cool. I had tons of food, spoil and almost had a gallon at milk, blow up. And also the ice maker would not work. The icemaker was covered under warranty due to a recall. Samsung declared the ice maker not repairable. So after that Choice, home warranty would not come and fix the Refrigerator cooling part. So I had to spend money. I did not have to replace my refrigerator. Now the good part. My AC quit working right when we were having the heat waves. They had somebody out the next day to repair it, and all is good. Overall choice warranty is very good. I think every time I have called. They have been here the next day. And the online portal is great!

I had two calls so far. The dryer could not be fixed and a gift card was issued for Lowes, however, the amount for a replacement was only $388.00, which is not enough for a new dryer. I was very disappointed. The second one call was for a washer, which was repaired. It was my understanding that if an appliance could not be repaired, it would be replaced,not half replaced.
