Have a sink leak requiring removal of a cabinet to stop the leak, and apparently through the contractor, CHW has declined to commit. I've paid for a plumber and have no positive outcome. I can't honestly recommend CHW after my first claim with this company.

I am very dissatisfied with Choice Home warranty. Every time something goes wrong in my house and I submit a claim they deny. I pay money every month for a service that dont take care of there customers. And after talking to other people who had CHW they said that's why they cancelled the service.

Took over a week to get a contractor to me for a leak. They referred me to companies no longer in business and others with no openings for weeks. Once they finally got someone to me they denied the claim stating the entire line would need to be replaced. I had another plumber come the next day and repair it for less than 150.00.

I reported a noise in the wall behind the toilet and damage being done to the wall; the appt was set up a week later as the water damage continues. By this time the water has seeped into the adjoining bedroom closet and has caused the floor to buckle. I called Blue Plumbing and they came out on 10.23.21 and fixed the problem.

They do a terrible job. they couldn't fix my cooktop then won't give enough money to replace it especially if you have a high end item. They say they only pay wholesale price however you can not buy one for wholesale price. They claim they are the best but actually they are the worst. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

If they get someone out to work on an item let usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. We agreed to hire someone ourselves to be reimbursed. The company sent in all paperwork, but Choice refused to reimburse us, and we paid for repairs ourselves. In simple terms we were cheated. Still waiting on our tub to be fixed it’s been about 3 weeks.

I filed one claim for my dishwasher which wouldn’t close anymore but the claim was denied citing it was not due to normal wear and tear. It is a dishwasher that you open and close all the time - how is it not normal wear and tear. I didn’t break the latch. I will not be renewing and will never recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible company!!! Sometimes it takes months or weeks to get someone out. Or you sent out 3 technicians before one can fix it. One time technician came out look at the problem took my money and never came back. I ended up fixing that problem myself. Absolutely cannot recommend this company!

Every time I call for service it's a fight to get something repaired. It's never a fix on spot they always have to report it and then Tech comes back one Choice Home Warranty have approved. I have another warranty company who always fix on the spot and I have never had any major issues, I am going to switch.

Generally pretty bad service 1. First call out to deal with a water heater that the pilot light is not staying on. Claim denied and won’t fix it 2. Electrical problem. That was a good experience. Came and fix the problem 3. Dishwasher issue: technician did not turn up

I have been with CHW for three years. What I dislike most is the continual no shows of their Technicians. At least 90% of the time I have at least three no shows before an actual Technician arrives to my home. That equates to a lot of wasted time and money on my part. Sadly, the issue has not improved over the past three years.
