Placed a claim for refrigerator/ freezer not working on a Tuesday received confirmation that a service technician would be on-site Monday between 3pm and 8pm. Lost over $300 in food because Choice Home Warranty did not HONOR there 24 to 48 hours service agreement. Not a happy camper at all.

The technician was great!! The service from Choice was very very bad I called the customer line 3 times and 3 times I was told to enter my number someone would call me back and then disconnected and no one ever called me Not one of my calls was returned.

I am very disappointed that Choice denied my claim on my hot water heater. Many years ago when I purchased a Choice Home Warranty, I did so because I felt confident that if I had a problem with an appliance, Choice would cover the repair. It has been 6 days and I have not received from Choice Management why the water heater claim has been denied.

It always takes too long to file your claim and get someone out and then it takes forever to get the warranty to approve the job that needs to be done that the guy that came out was amazing but for what they charge for American home choice warranty should be a little bit faster for the customers

First time we used a home warranty. First time, we ever made a claim. It's been a week and the claim is not fulfilled. Not only do we still have a leak, but now there are two holes cut out from the ceiling. I didn't realize it would take this long. Will update when it gets repaired.

Sent someone over to fix the air-conditioning. While they were there they told the technician they're reassigned it. It needed to be fixed for my renters so I paid for it. Choice said to do the reimbursement option then said it wasn't approved and closed. Very bad customer service.

The ice maker for my Samsung refrigerator stopped working, The technician sent by Choice came to my house and diagnosed the problem as wear and tear, so a new ice maker unit was needed. Choice denied the repair. I had to go through Samsung to get the issue resolved.

When I contacted them concerning my water heater, they said they were going to work on it. And they never called me back, ever. They've been sending me messages saying they trying and can't find nobody. And then they said if I want to find somebody, I did, and they never call me back about nothing. To this day, no one has called me. It has been since the 22nd of August and today is 9/7. So they said to hire someone and it would take 10 minutes to process it. Well, I hired someone, we submitted all the information and they told me they couldn't reach the person, which I know wasn't true because I was here with the person. Then when I'm trying to get my reimbursement, he's telling me, well, we're not really that type of a company, this is like a regular business. And I said, what do you mean? I said no one has reached me. You should have warned me that it was approved or denied. Y'all never said nothing. I think you should be very careful when you're trying to find someone when it comes to home warranties because a lot of times they're not what they pretend to be. And never, ever pick your own person when they give you the opportunity. Do not trust them. Never pick the one because I'm telling you they're going to treat you like they treat me and they're going to deny your claims. Again, I'm still waiting patiently. So don't trust them when it comes to them saying you could get your own technician because that's how they keep money and won't pay you your money. But thank you.

Choice Warrranty is a scam. They denied a claim that was clearly included in the warranty with some lame excuse. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They always deny repairing the applicance and their replacement cost they provide is never enough to even cover 1/3 of the price of the new appliance.

It took over a week to get a technician out to look at my a/c unit with temperatures over 100 degrees. Then when technician came and gave his recommendations (replace the coil due to large hole…..they told him to put stop leak and just add Freon to the system which would just leak out in a few days.

I paid $500 something dollars for the warranty. I get bombarded every day a few times a day trying to sell me stuff. Unfortunately, I had to use the service as my dryer died. I paid the $100 service fee and the guy said he can't fix my dryer. Choice then offered me $300 something dollars which will only buy me a half a dryer. SCAM!!!

They not filled any of my claims. I put one in to get my toilet fixed after almost 2 weeks. I ended up paying for a plumber to come out and fix it. I put a claim in for my AC unit 7 days ago have not heard anything from them.

I had called to get my ac fixed it costed me $65 for a service call then i had to pay $400.00 to have a leak fixed and refrigerant put in. Choice Home warranty said it wasn’t covered. I was not happy with the out come. I never really got a closer of the situation.

It took Choice over a month to get my claim resolved. First contractor vanished after taking the call fee…second contractor too did not show up after the first visit…finally the 3rd contractor came and did the job. I had to contact customer service too many times to get their attention to my claim. Frustrating experience!

I’ve put in two separate claims and not only were both denied, but the venders that were assigned to the claim were horrible. I’m paying monthly on three different policies only to get denied every time with a claim. And I’m still having to pay for my repairs out of pocket. CHW, you guys are terrible.

I’m disappointed with the warranty service. I was promised a replacement for my broken oven, but instead, I received a gift card that barely covers half the cost of a new one. Some claims I thought would be covered weren’t, and the process took longer than expected. Overall, the help I received was inadequate.

Contractor was amazing. Communication from company not so much. Did not come out till after 8 pm. Company removed me from his docket and did not tell him. Then company tried to reschedule for two weeks when I already took off work today. After calling they did make it right.

Every time a tech comes to fix an issue, they charge $85 for the visit no matter if they fix it or leave the job inconclusive. Techs do not keep their appointments, not responsible and when you call to confirm, you will get attitude. My problem has taken 3 phone calls and 2 written claims and still is not resolved.
