I am very dissatisfied with your company and tell everyone I know, including all realitors I know. It is never mentioned in your sales pitch that you don't pay retail for a replacement , and the money you offer is a joke. Your last rep informed me that that there was a new range at Home Depot priced at $379,(she offered $349.99. We went to Home Depot website and found NONE for less than $800. You are rip-off artists.

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES !!!! Buyers, please choose someone else! This company is HORRIBLE !!!! I've been waiting for almost a full week for a hot water heater to be replaced. Since they will not make any more money on me, they are giving me the runaround and pretending the technician is not calling them back. Said I could ask for another tech, but would have to start the entire process all over again!!!! I won't be renewing my policy with them again EVER !!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!

HVAC went out and they are trying to say it was due to an "electrical" surge. Total BS. My husband has been an HVAC technician for 30 years and never had an electric surge happen that caused an HVAC to burn out. Many other reasons but not a surge. Now I have to get an attorney involved and file a BBB complaint because they want to find outrageous reasons to deny your claim. To boot, husband had knee replacement surgery so we have been home for weeks, no surge ever, no tripped breakers. They think they can just make up reasons to deny a claim.

I had a claim for a toilet. It was determined it needed to be replaced. I was offered $250 to replace it. My home is valued at $550,000.00 . My toilet is a $1,200.00 toilet. so I was caught off guard by the low ball offer. They said they can only replace at a builder grade. I went with this company because it was recommended by my agent. This company is the worst, they try to short you on your replacement, customer service agents are rude. I plan on canceling my service.

I am very disappointed with CHW. They declined repairing or replacing a coil on my air conditioner on the basis that the unit is 10 years old. Beware buyers CHW do not honor their warrant if the cost of repair or replacement is high. Their Claims manager, April was totally cold towards my appeal . I cancelled my contract on the spot. Buyers Bewars.

I had a claim for a washing machine. It was determined it needed to be replaced. I was offered $300 to replace it. My washer is a $700 washer so I was caught off guard by the low ball offer. I declined it and a case manager called me. I got the amount up to $450 but I am still unhappy because I was told if I ever need a replacement it would be something of similar value. This is not true. I feel like I was lied to just so I would sign up. I will probably be cancelling my warranty and going with another company.

very disappointed in my selection of home warranty service with Choice. your service technicians only rip off the customer. case in point. my heating issue with my air conditioner heat pump. Bill plumbing heating diagnosed leak in system with no refrigerant. not true. after i called a true professional Olandi HVAC he performed a correct test and found the problem was with the circuit board. simple replacement. now Choice is only reimbursing me $98.00 for his $200 bill. doesn't seem fair since they said this was covered. I will not be renewing my policy when due.

Be the customer of Choice Home Warranty for a couple year, I'm very disappointed by my first service call. The central AC doesn't work lately. I called for service and file a new claim. After a week, they denied the coverage because the rust or corrosion are not covered. JUST BEWARE THAT THEY CAN USE RUST OR CORROSION TO GET AWAY FROM COVERAGE FOR PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING.

Well it's a week and my garage door opener is not even scheduled to be fixed. A garage door that can't be secured. A week to get the microwave looked at. It's probably going to be best to return to total Protect. The savings isn't worth the waiting. The longest it took total to fix anything was two days. I haven't even heard a word since the guy was hear to look at the opener. Then they also told me they will replace my quality opener with a builders grade. Total replaces quality with quality.

Customer Service after sales is not the best. I reported a problem on my refrigerator and stove and in both cases had the worst experience getting them fixed. They took. I responsibility for the fridge and for the stove, I waited 3 months with no response until I called again to check and the response was that the case was closed because the Technician they sent never reported anything to them. I don’t think I will want to renew it after it expires.

If I could go 0 stars I would. This company fights every claim, and does not pay vendors. I signed with them because their phone rep assured me that I would have coverage on a home for my daughter 3 hours away from me. Little did I know that they were no more than a scam. I had to find my own vendors as none in the area would work with them. Then when I sent the bills to them for reimbursement, the claims were all denied even with valid documentation. It is no wonder that the State of New Jersey is pursuing action against these guys. I hope other states will pick it up as well.

I have had two experiences with Choice Warranty. Both experiences were negative. In order for this company to be successful and to thrive it must improve its customer service. Never in my life have I experienced the level of curt behavior and rudeness from people whose job is it to deal with the public. The company would do well to invest in training programs that instill respect for others; believe me, it doesn’t exist at Choice Home Warranty.

I had a horrible experience with the call center, will not renew or recommend choice home Warranty to anyone. One person said my septic tank was covered another said it wasn’t . I Spoke to a very rude person who would not let me speak she just kept talking over me . This company needs to be more specific about what is actually covered when signing up for coverage. I was misled about what I was purchasing. Never again!!!!!

Home choice warranty would not stand behind their policy on plumbing leak. After two inspections by two different technicians, the case was still denied on the base of "rust and corrosion". Which was never point of failure. In fact, those words were implied by the case worker. Not to mention, according to the companies brochure, rust and corrosion is covered. The case worker assigned to me was the worst experience I've had in my entire life. She was very impolite, rude and downright horrible at customer service.

This company left my family with no AC all summer in Hot Houston, Texas claiming it was due to wear and tear. They want you to pay extra for the technician to diagnose. I wouldn't recommend this company. They have always try to find a way not to cover there coverage. I have been a realtor for 11 years and by far this is the worse warranty company ever. If you want a Home Warranty please do yourself a favor AND NOT MAKE CHOICE YOUR HOME WARRANTY COMPANY.

Do not buy there warranty. They don’t do what they say they’ll do and the repair people they use are substandard. I’ve had nothing buttrouble with them. We wer not going to renew the policy with them last year because we were so unhappy with them but one of their sales people offered us poll and roof coverage free if we would renew. I just tried to file a claim for the roof and they say it’s not covered that we never paid for it. I don’t k ow about the other companies that are out there but Do your homework. Don’t go with Choice

I placed a claim request online. I called in to verify the claim giving the fact it was my first time doing one. The agent who answered was VERY rude. When I told him I wanted to confirm my claim request I did online he said "yeah it's in there!" I asked how did he know because he didn't ask for any identifying information from me such as name, address, or policy #. He yelled back "because you said you did."

I have a heater/exhaust fan in my bathroom. It went out and the electrician came out and said it couldn't be fixed so it needed to be replaced. Now Choice Home Warranty will not replace it with a Heater/Exhaust fan..they want to put a cheaper Exhaust fan only. ….that is the only heat that is in my bathroom. The last person I spoke with was rude and hung up on me. I need to speak to a Manager about this....everyone has gotten their money from me and I have not gotten good service from CHW....sorry that I picked this company.

The only experience has been to establish a policy. When I received an email stating the purpose was to establish the rate for 2019, I assumed it was in reference to my present account. When making the inquiry under the assumption concerning existing account I end up with a 2nd account on the same household. To the agent involved I don't know how he would have thought a 2nd account was necessary. His approach in attempting to sale the price on different pay plans was done in poor approach. I will be checking on your competitors to see if I get better service.

DO NOT USE THEM! They are scammers and not worth a penny. I bought a new home and got an inspection done. My Inspector didn’t find as issue with the Hot Water Heaters, I have two. One works fine, the other the pilot light is not staying on, so Home Choice Warranty send someone out, they said it needed to be replaced. Home Choice ( the scammers) won’t cover it, because it was not maintained properly. What a bunch of crap. No run from them. I’ll keep you posted on my lawsuit with them

I have coverage with home choice warranty and my overhead microwave broke down and I called them and they sent somebody to fix it and they charged me $45 and they said it has to be replaced and they said they will offer me $219 and it will not cover the microwave’s price it also doesn’t even cover half the price to replace it and I’m really disappointed in them
