Been paying these people for over 4 years. AC evaporator coils leaking. They said not covered because caused by rust and corrosion. Asked who told them that. They had no answer. Asked if leaks in evap coils are covered. They said yes. In the same breath I was told this type of leak can only be caused by rust and corrosion which is not covered. Refused to provide me with claim form submitted to them by service provider. I would suggest you save $50 a month to cover home repairs. Do not use Choice.

A/C unit went out. We filled a claim and didn't get a timely response. When a technician was located and scheduled I called to confirm the appointment. He told me he wasn't coming as he hadn't been paid for previous jobs from the warranty company. I have to call a repairman my self to get it fixed. After stating they would reimburse me they told me the amount and then sent a email with a amount significantly less. The service is poor and unreliable. Choice is a bad choice for doing business with.

THIS IS A RIP OFF! THE TECHNICIANS THEY SEND OUT TELL ME THAT! CURRENT CLAIM HAS SOMEONE COMING OUT SIX DAYS AFTER CLAIM TO FIX AN AIR CONDITIONER UNIT!!! ALWAYS HAVE TO WAIT ON HOLD FOR ANY HELP AND THEY SEND OUT A BLANKET EMAIL THRU REGION FOR ANYONE TO DO THE WORK AT THE VERY LOWEST COST! I have had a terrible experience with this warranty company. They feed you a line of bull when they are trying to get you to sign up and then it’s the complete opposite when you need to report something and then they say didn’t you read the fine print. I took 4 different days off work to be home for my scheduled appointment just to have no one show up.

this is the worst company!!!!! the customer service has been horrible! they sent out a terrible tech who even forgot to submit paperwork. Then they deny my claim because I havnt maintained my unit! I have proof that I maintained it but I will have to submit that and wait even longer. I told them it was working fine when I took out the contract and had proof they called me a liar . When I ask about canceling the policy they want to keep $100 for admin fees.

I have 11 contracts, every time I have a claim, I have to negotiate for service payments, is like they DON’T WANT TO PAY. I do not consider Choice Service Warranty Company. At the end of the term I WILL NOT RENEW!!!!! By the way, the service companies alway want to up sell. VERY DISPLEASED!!!!

This company is a scam. Do NOT give them a $1 of your money. They will not honor any claim and always have some excuse to not pay. They have already denied two with me that clearly were covered under their own contract they provided to me. All tech's warned me when they arrived that this warranty co. would just deny any claim. Not much you can do about it and they know it. they need to be put out of business.

Choice decided to replace, not repair. Great except that they are "no longer" in the business of replacing and will send you a check based not on the features, capacity, and efficiency of the appliance as stated in the contract, but the age at their discretion . And then you have to wait 30 days for that said check to be processed, not mailed. That's just one claim. It's been over 30 days for another and their response is parts are on order and talk to the technician and the technician says talk to Choice. Still waiting for a call from a "Director".

Not happy with your service. Only positive is your price. You have unqualified and unreliable contractors and find issues not to fix appliances. Like rust. All appliances rust at some point. Excluding rust is not a good business practice.

I called Choice Home Warranty for a quote. Since I am a senior citizen and in ill health I decided to read some of their reviews. I told the salesman who called the next day that I couldn't sign up with them due to many poor reviews I had read. Since then I have received 3+ phone calls a day for 6 days in a row for a month. I never answered the phone after the second week of phone calls. Still the calls persisted. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH CHOICE HOME - THEY WILL HARASS YOU EVERY DAY WHEN YOU TELL THEM NO!!!!

Called to inquire about a new home warranty and the person insisted that I buy the policy TODAY... and when I said that I was not ready to spend any money (on a house that I have not purchased and for which I will not close before June or July at the earliest) the sales person hung up on me. Apparently - they do not care to give you prices or information unless you are willing to immediately select their product - not further questions or time to think. ... not impressed.

I really do not care how or what their business is. When I am getting spammed by them and I never asked for it it is annoying and irritates me. This company pays spammers to advertise for them. How I got on their list I have no clue since I have not even looked for a home warranty since 2009 but they have been spamming me hard and I am tired of it. The company tries to use a lack of maintenance to deny everything. My heat pump quite working and the technician said it was leaking. CHS told me I had to pay out of pocket for the diagnostics. $345 later they refused to fix the head valve, because they said a properly maintained system would not have leaked. It was a mechanical failure. If they were going to deny it, I wish they would have let me know before I paid the dirtball contractor all that money to diagnose it.

i called to have my A/C checked out and they told me it wasn't covered and told me it was in the policy ( it was in nothing I received) this is a really bad company to deal with they tell you what is covered and then refuse to fix, I am canceling my Warranty and would advise anyone else too also. This is the second time they couldn't fix something RIGHT my Refrigerator was the first. A TOTAL RIP OFF!!

The Worst warranty you can have for your home. They will deny your each and every claim no matter if it is a gas leak, water leak or anything you can think of. The whole reason for buying a home warranty fails with Choice Home Warranty. One can argue all home warranties are same but I had an exceptionally good experience with ABC home warranties for several claims in spite of the negative reviews.

Not happy with the service at all. All three times someone has been to my house it has not been covered. Coils on a HVAC that stay wet was not covered, clogged to a pipe outside my house that connects all the pipes from the inside was not covered and heating element was not covered. I have spent over 4000.00 out of pocket to fix issues. What good is this warranty.

Very good customer service but won’t cover anything but my policy says it will be covered. Very disappointed in this company. I will not be renewing my coverage

I 'like' the fact that they are lightning fast to take my monthly payment but molasses slow to make any sort of payout on a claim. I have been a customer of Choice Home Warranty for years but after this fiasco with my hot water heater I plan on getting out of this program ASAP. Save your money and pay yourself every month instead and you will be much better off.

I would give a negative star but that is not an option. I didn't to pay via credit card but electronic bill pay. I just was on the phone with 1 of their representatives and because I didn't want to use a credit card as a form of payment the representative stated "We really don't need your business!" and hung up. Really!!! Was thinking of giving in and providing a Credit Cart to them but after that. NEVER!

I only had the services for a few weeks and I HATE it. I have never made any claims. I only called in for information on my coverage and due to the lies and bad customer services I received i decided to cancel. And even that was a hassle because no one would cancel my services or reimbursement... and remind you, i only had it for 3 weeks and no claims. However, it took a week to cancel and i still have not beeb refunded. Now, i am with a different company and a lot happier. I would not recommend this company to worse enemy

They are not able to dispatch people when you need them-only when their handpicked person is available. You are treated like an unwanted step-child. More shocking, they have people with extreme criminal backgrounds coming to your home because they do not do adequate background checks. I had a dishwasher that was worth 900.00 dollars and was told by a supervisor they would give me 179.00 they said according to them I could replace the same dishwasher for 179.00 and I said please do and install. I spoke to supervisor this morning who told me NO and told me not to expect a check in 30 DAYS for 250.00 dollars PERIOD!! This is not what there web sight says period.

When I bought the warranty the sales person went over covered items everything sounded good so I purchased the three year plan for both my homes filed a claim for leaky hot water heater they don't cover the tank just components of the hot water tank one would think the tank is part of the hot water system but not covered. I won't e en go into customer service because their is none very dissatisfied with choice will not use them again or recommend the to any one .

Every time we had a claim there was a major negotiation. You didn't just pay your copay and get it fixed. They would find some way to say it was your fault and when we complained they would come back and say ok wee will pay this and have to pay the rest. I guess that is better than nothing , but what a hassle.

Worst company . I made two claims in one year. One was roof leak and the other was heating system. Both claim was rejected with lot of reasons that we don’t know. They say different reasons to deny a claim. My family was left in the extreme winter for a week with no heat. So my advice is a big “NO” to anyone looking to buy a home warranty ..

We got suckered into being a contractor for Choice Home Warranty with their smooth lies about how easy it was to use the system, etc. Horsefeathers! Their system has so many screens and complicated operations that it could not be figured out. Plus, claims under a hundred dollars allegedly didn't require a confirmation number, but in the end they do so they did not pay. Claims over a hundred dollars required them but even with them, they did not pay. Six of the seven jobs we did for them remain unpaid and now we're going after the homeowners because we haven't gotten response from Choice.

These people are still out screw every customer and find a loop hole when none are present. I've paid more in service calls than they have paid in repairs. I would put my money in a piggy bank before renewing my contract with these people. They think by not paying for the replacement and offering to pay 1/2 when the contract stating it's their responsibility they are doing me a favor. I truly hate this company and told the supposed supervisor on the phone as much. I will be cancelling my contract immediately and posting horrible reviews on every site I can find.

A bracket in my AC unit broke and started making noise, they would not cover it because it wasnt normal wear and tear, my unit is 17 years old and still operational what did they expect for it to last forever? For it to be as old as it is and still be functioning that should tell them i have been taking care of it. Also... insurance is for unexpected issues not normal wear and tear! Bad service by warranty company and provider , compnay refuses to cover anything it says it would , just took my money , but won’t pay out a dime! “Jacuzzi covered” BUT MOTOR IS NOT COVERED, what is the point. water heater “covered” BUT AGAIN actual heater not covered! PLUMBER THEY SENT LOOKED AND JUST SAID “need a new one” HOWEVER my own plumber came , fixed it! In 30 minutes! BAD COMPANY IN COVERAGE AND IN SERVICE THEY SEND! NEVER SIGNING AGAIN!
