It took over 2 weeks to get a technician here. The first one was rude to both us and your service representative. Then you finally got one here yesterday. He was very thorough and personable. I would recommend you using The technician from Parton Repair more often and take the first technician off your list. As for your service, I am glad it wasn’t an emergency.

I had to turn in a claim one day after my policy went into effect for my Mom, who is 92 years old, because her frig quit cooling and freezing. We have never had a problem with it, EVER! They said the compressor is going out and the fan and dryer. How were we supposed to know that??? They deny to fix it and won't approve the claim in order for me to buy another frig. Anyway, they denied the claim, so there you go. I'm writing this review because I have no CHOICE!!!

Insufficient money is provided when an appliance cannot be repaired and has to be replaced. Then when asked about canceling the service, I was told more dollars have been paid in claims then I paid in premiums so a prorated refund could not happen. Would not recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone. I will be changing warranty companies as soon as my policy expires!!

Be careful! The salesman will offer you the world, when in reality there is a lot of hidden fine print that they are not open and honest with. For example, they deemed my dishwasher too expensive to fix and cut me a check for $246. As I'm sure you are aware, this amount will not cover the cost of a new dishwasher by even half. I was told the contract says they maintain the right to offer cash at whatever dollar amount they want. Also, my water heater went out and there was a hidden fee of $300 for "removal and disposal" that needs to be covered by the policy owner.

so for a claim filed 4 months with no satisfaction, through no fault of mine I was there waiting patiently 25+ hours for all appointments set but not kept by the tech companies. The only reason I can assume is the roofing companies don't want to deal w/CHW. How is this anyway to keep a customer who keeps getting calls & emails to renew my contract!!!! Completely unhappy customer & I will be posting my reviews of CHW through all social media available to me.

I expected the company to pay for a replacement dishwasher. Instead they offered me $234 and all the dishwashers I see are $377+. By the time the store adds the delivery fee, removal fee (of the old unit), power plug and installation kit the total was $787.53. So the payment of only $254 by Choice Home Warranty was an insult. I will be switching back to American Home Shield. They don't screw you like that.

Its okay. They are covering issues but having problems finding technicians. They dont offer rekey on a move and will cancel your existing and restart you on a new home with a new 30 day wait.

I have been a customer for the Last year, during which I have submitted 3 claims and all of came to be EXCLUDED. They are super smart in hiding all exits in their contract, you will never receive any repair. Their Appeal process is one of the worst among all companies. They Should be ranked # 1 in the Worst Company regarding Customer Care. No Credibility. I regret all the money and time that I have spent with Choice Home Warranty. The Only thing that I'm sure of is that I'm not renewing my Contract. Please be careful before our go into this trap.

Seller purchased a home warranty for the buyer, the buyer's dishwasher broke, after 5 months the current buyer called Choice Home warranty that the dishwasher is not working, so the current owner call for a repairman as instructed by Choice warranty the repairman came and diagnose the that the dishwasher is not repairable, therefore the Choice Home warranty offered the only fraction of replacement only $145 of the dishwasher, and nothing could be done about. Just warning stay away from Choice Home warranty. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM

2 years ago I had same exact problem with my A/C system and you repaired my system back to working order., now I have same exact problem and you rejected??? My Wife and I work in Real Estate fields and have recommended “Choice “ on many occasions. But if this is how you plan to take care customers there will be No more Referrals. Instead we will pick another company to do business with personally and for our real estate clients as well. Thank you!

My 1st claim submitted and was denied. It was clearly stated when I purchased a year service with CHW what appliances were covered no matter the age. Now that my stovetop cracked due to normal wear and tear it was denied. Now I have to submit and wait for representative to contact me as to why it is not covered.

I am very unhappy with service. I spent a thousand dollars..rather I gave this company a thousand dollars for no return value. I would never recommend this insurance. It is not wor to the frustration. Not once have they come Through in a claim. They make appointments with technician that have no clue they were scheduled. They never show and when I ask for another technician one is not assigned.

Choice did not cover any of the appliances that had broken. I've had them for years and I'm tired of giving the money and them always refusing to cover what is broken. Air conditioner coils had an issue they did not cover. Dishwasher they water sprayer inside the dishwasher broke. Then melted to the heating element on the bottom. They said they would not cover that. I am done with this company.

I have been a customer for many many years, never used the warranty until I needed it on December 21, 2020, when I was told my plan did not cover my Water Heater. The main tank is exempt as well as many other things. The conclusion is only parts are covered. Very misleading and this is why they sell sight unseen because they know the restrictions. You do not get the policy until you pay so you do not see all this upfront. SCAM ALERT!!!!! I see they have prefilled Amazing and this is not amazing.

I have a Viking refrigerator had same technician out to fix my refrigerator. My refrigerator is messed up for the third time now choice is telling it’s not the same refrigerator the serial number doesn’t match same technician had called the telling it’s the same one . Choice will not fix it . They keep claiming it’s not the same refrigerator even tho the technician is telling them it’s the same one . Worst company !!! Getting an attorney because I can see numerous people are complaining about their refrigerator not getting fixed . This needs to stop now .

i had a pipe burst while i was out of town, it had been spewing water for over a week, tech came to fix it, i paid him $60 and then he tells me " choice will not pay to have it fixed" don't understand why it was turned down, something about corrosion, the pipe was in ceiling above my closet, no damage upstairs, the only corrosion was from where water was leaking and it corroroed the pipe, you guys blew it on this one and i'll let everybody know

CHW was not there for us when one of their contractors performed horrible a/c service, caused hundreds of dollars of damages to my home and CHW would not give me the insurance information of their contractor. 4 months later we are still dealing with the same problem caused by their contractor and now CHW tells me my claim is no longer covered because of a cap. Even though the continued problem has been caused by the contractor that performs work for them.

Frankly your company/plan sucks. This is the 2nd time I'm trying to have an appliance repaired and after you trying for 48 hours, you can't locate a service provider. I have called 4 different ones, and none want to work with you. You either do not pay them enough or fair market value, or you don't pay on time. I will NEVER recommend your company to anyone.

Always a hassle to get anyone and why would a claim that CHW could have saved me $30 by providing a service tech to find our water/ice problem. No CHW told me to get someone and I did he discovered the problem and the service fee was $75 is it to much to ask to get the $45 fee reimbursed since CHW couldn’t supply service?

Not happy currently with Choice Home Warranty. A faulty gas valve in my heating and air unit they said was not covered and they sent me a portion of the contract regarding roof. No where did I find in the contract about a gas valve. This should have been a covered part. Especially since I pay for the total plan and not the basic plan.
